Dear Universe Architects,

Trace the twisting, decades-long journey of the most advanced (and most expensive!) telescope ever built. Repeatedly delayed, massively over budget, and very nearly canceled, the James Webb Telescope is not only a stunning technical achievement—it shows what we can accomplish together when we set our sights on the stars.

Join Semblance on a fast-paced journey to the stars in the James Webb Telescope Exploration! From February 26th to March 2nd, you can embark on Cell To Singularity's first ever Exploration event. Let's take a look at what's in store...

Explore the Making of the James Webb Telescope
Learn about how the JWST came to be and everything in between. Race against the clock to complete a new limited-time tree and discover interesting facts about this extraordinary space telescope!

  • 40+ traits to purchase and read!
  • 6 crystallized generators to unlock.
  • Collect a new kind of currency: Honeycomb Mirrors!
Branching Out
Your exploration starts with a new tree! Start with a Ground Telescope and work your way up past the James Webb Telescope itself. There's so much to discover along the way!

3D Model Blueprints
Become the ultimate draftsman with a complete 3D model of the James Webb Telescope! Start with a basic sketch, then watch it develop as you progress through the tree.

Going For The Gold!
Once the event ends, you'll be awarded with a James Webb Telescope badge! Based on your Exploration progress, your badge will be bronze, silver or gold. Which when will you get?

Mark your calendars... This event only runs from February 26th @ 12:00 PM EST to March 3nd @ 12:00 PM EST!
NOTE: We extended the event by 1 day to give player more time because of the button bug

Good luck, Universe Architects! We can't wait to see how far you progress in this pursuit of knowledge.

Hello Universe Architects,

As you may already know, the simulation has received a major tuning update! To help these new mechanics perform their best, we're providing a followup support patch, as well as a quick overview of the recent Beyond tuneup.

Here's what to look out for:

Beautified Simulation Switcher
We heard your artistic input about the new Simulation Switcher! This button has since received a bit of a makeover, omitting the individual ranks at first glance.

Darwinium Bundles for New Players
We've resolved some issues that players were experiencing with the Darwinium bundle offers. Now new players can see special Darwinium bundles available for their first three days after downloading the game!

We also want to address any confusion or concerns regarding the recent re-tune. This is the first tuning update since 10.38 (December 2021). Based on data from that version, our primary goals with this update were:

- Spread out the time it takes to complete missions more evenly across each rank.
- Spread out the celestial body cost and production to make each one feel more unique and powerful, especially later in the universe ranks.

To achieve these goals we cranked up the difficulty of earlier missions in each universe rank (starting with Rank 5) and eased off the difficulty of the later missions. We also completely re-balanced all of the celestial bodies from Uranus out. This should help even out the pacing of all of the missions and make unlocking a new celestial body feel more substantial.

It is worth noting though that if you were attempting to reach a goal like getting Alpha Centauri to rank 8, that would be significantly harder now. This was admittedly an oversight - the tuning was focused on making the mission progression better but did not account for personal goals and achievements. We’ll be looking into how to address that, perhaps by adjusting the requirements for the upper-level achievements.

We hope we were able to further clarify the purpose for these drastic gameplay updates. If you have additional input or questions about this patch or the previous one, please leave a comment below!

Thank you, Universe Architects! We look forward to hearing your feedback.

Let There Be Light
Come to the dark side... and see all the pretty lights! We've updated Earth's texture to give it the nightlife ambiance it truly deserves.

Boost Me Up!
Move over, Mesozoic Valley. After achieving Rank 1, each rank up in the Beyond now gives a 25% boost to the Main Simulation!

Major Beyond Gameplay Tune-Up
Some features felt like they were missing in the Beyond's gameplay. With the help of our game designer, we were able to make the Beyond even more fun and enjoyable to play.

- FIX: Certain late-game Beyond achievements couldn't be unlocked.

Thank you for your patience as we continue optimization for the Beyond.

Our team also has some exciting upcoming content to share with all Architects- the James Webb Space Telescope Live Event! Stay tuned as we continue developing its final touches. We can't wait for liftoff!

Hello Universe Architects,

Your universe simulation has been updated! We've removed the speed slider in the side menu, and we implemented an alternate speed feature to better showcase the complexity of orbital motion in our solar system.

Here's how it works:

Button Up!
Fiddle with different buttons that will play, pause, rewind, and fast forward your planets! Watch Deimos slowly circle around Mars at +3 hr/sec, or see Sedna's 10,000 year orbit take no time at all!

Additional Features:
- The moon is now tidally locked to Earth!
- Hale-Bopp and Halley's Comet tails' stick around while the simulation is moving fast!
- The icon for the Heliosphere has been updated!
- Camera stability while viewing planets in the garden has been improved. Enjoy further developed camera locking and non-existent camera shaking!

Minor Features and Fixes:
- FIX: You can now zoom in on Vesta in the garden.
- FIX: We found the "-" symbol that was missing on some English enhancement cards.
- The cube payout amount in Mutagen bundles has been adjusted.
- Starting the Super Charge boost will no longer center you on that object.
- Exiting Photo Mode will no longer change the screen angle.
- Performance improvements for the garden's orbit lines have been implemented.
- For new Universe Architects: The Black Hole event has now been changed to a local portal that requires 200 individual clicks in order to enter the Beyond (online or off)!

We hope you enjoy these improvements as we continue polishing the Beyond expansion!

As our team looks ahead at what's to come for Cell To Singularity, we look forward to hearing your continued feedback!

Stay cellular, Universe Architects!
