Hello Universe Architects,
The simulation has received a minor visual update!
We know there is a lot of excitement circling around the upcoming Beyond expansion, but there's another bubble universe that has been needing some evolutionary love.
Let's take a look at these new changes to Mesozoic Valley...
The Dino is in the Details
Read all about it! We added all tooltip text to the Mesozoic Valley trait cards. Now you can access your favorite dinosaur facts with ease!
Choose Wisely...
Wait, what's that?! Locked trait cards are now hidden from sight. There's only one way to find out what it could be...
To Scale Selection Graphics
The disproportion of the selection graphics always low-key bothered our design team. Click on any dinosaur in the garden and this tool now changes size depending on their scale!
Additional Features:
- Click on tooltip icons to access card details! - The quality of graphic compression has been improved.
This prehistoric update has been a longtime coming. As our team continues developing content that's out of this world, we're also aware of additional issues that lie with our old, scaly friends.
While this patch is just a minor update, we are still keeping an eye on Mesozoic Valley feedback and noting areas that need further improvement.
As always- we hope you enjoy these new features, however small they may be!

Hey Cells Testers,
We will have a beyond beta update coming very shortly. However at the moment we need help testing a small public update that includes improvements to the dinosaur universe and a number of minor maintenance updates.
8.79 PATCH - Trait card details in the dinosaur universe include description. - Unknown trait cards are not shown until they have been discovered. - Garden animal selection graphic adjusts to the size of the object selected. - Improve the quality of graphic compression.
Our team has tested it thoroughly, however we can never catch everything. So it's good to get a few more eyeballs on the patch before we release it to public.
Let's us know if you see anything broken, buggy, or general feedback in the comments.
How do i test this beta?
Right click on Cell to Singularity select properties. Choose "beta - public beta" tab then switch your setting to Beta.
Thanks again for your help, if the build looks solid we will roll it out to all players. Then it's back to work on the Beyond.

NOTE: All progress will be restarted on Thursday 7/15/2021 --------------

Cell to Singularity - Evolution Never Ends - lunch
Hello, Universe Architects!
We want to send a big thank you to everyone who’s signed up to join our beta testing for the Beyond. It’s been an awesome response from you all!
We’ve already started getting some amazing feedback from the beta testers, and we’re working on making some changes and updates to the beta based on your suggestions. One of these was the idea to add new trait cards! The Beyond now has its own Rare and Epic cards to help upgrade your universe. With full tooltip text and icons, these are ready to be collected throughout the new levels.
Based on some more feedback from the testers, we’ve increased the rate at which Constellation Pieces drop. By ranking up planets and exploring the Galactic Nursery for unlockable stars, you’ll be charting your own star map in no time.
We’re also changed the animation when you add a new star to a Constellation - the camera no longer zooms in, speeding up the process!
Last but not least, some players have been reporting a bug in the latest build where the Dark Matter points weren’t functioning correctly. We’ve been working on fixing this to improve production and give you a better quality of progression, doubling the amount that you can earn!
We continued to receive bug reports on this fix, so please let us know how dark matter is affecting your gameplay.
We hope that you’ve enjoyed seeing what we’ve been working on so far this week! As a reminder to all, you can apply to become a beta tester right here!
We’re still accepting applications, though due to high volume there may be a slight waiting period before you’re approved and able to play. We hope that you’ll join us!

Hello, Universe Architects!
Moving onto Beyond Beta Build 8.71, we have a lot of new changes to share with you. Due to the amount of edits, it was necessary for us to reset everyone’s beta progress this week. We thank you for your understanding, and we hope you enjoy this new and improved build!
Fleshed Out Rare and Epic Cards
There are new cards to collect! The Beyond now has its own unique Rare and Epic Cards with complete tooltips- ready to be discovered at different ranks. No more funky Mesozoic Valley references here!
Double the Dark Matter
Dark matter payouts were pretty limited, but now we’ve doubled the amount that you can earn! We look forward to hearing your feedback about how this has affected your game progression.
Increased Constellation Piece Drops
Not enough stars? Not a problem! We’ve also increased the amount of Constellation Pieces you can collect from ranking up planets and opening loot boxes.
Better Dispatch Mission Rewards
Some players were having issues with not being able to instantly claim their Dispatch Mission rewards after completion. Now it should be seamless!
Other Changes:
- Unlocked Constellation Pieces should be selectable again. - Added new graphics and updated UI for Planet Types (removed Mesozoic Valley placeholders). - New Space Garden view HUD. - Background idle is now (finally) working! - Customized the UI colors for Beyond- though still a work in progress. - Zoom tiers are now based on the distance from the Sun. - Added options to increase speed and to reverse simulation orbits in the Space Garden. - Saturn’s rings are now always there. - Fixed 2x Astronomy Boost issues. - Fixed the location and scale of the Kuiper Belt and varied Celestial Bodies. - Fixed the comet’s orbit. - Made major balancing and pacing changes.
Additional Patch Fixes:
+ Fixed a bug preventing the Dispatch Mission form being collected. + Fixed the Spacetime boost from not charging after watching an ad. + The Spacetime boost now has graphics for 2X and 4X mode. + Solar system view - all comets and dwarf planets now have selection radicals! + Dark matter is now correctly named in buy panel. + BUG: Fixed the missing graphic in Mission Requirements.
If you have specific feedback you’d like to share with us about the Beyond beta, please fill out our feedback form here!
We can’t wait to hear what you think of these new features! Based on popular suggestions, we’ll be taking your feedback into development as we prep for next week’s beta build.
For our Steam users, the steps for accessing the Steam-specific beta can also be found in the above document. If you have any questions or concerns, please leave us a comment!
The expansion is still in development, and your feedback is important to help us make the Beyond as fun as possible! As always, thank you for your support, and we can't wait to hear what you think of this new part of the game.

Hello Universal Architects,
We are hard work with the next major expansion, The Beyond: Phase I. We are excited to share more gameplay and details about it soon. In the meantime, you can read about its progress here.
8.52
+ Fixed infinite stone geode bug.
HOTFIX 8.49 Late game re-tuning.
Based on your feedback here in the comments we decided to greatly reduced the late game metabit bonus nerf that was introduce in 8.47. This re-tuning should bring back metabit yields for players with over 1 trillion research levels.
More specifically we introduce a nerf to the "mined bonus" because it was causing some super late game players to reach total entropy earned of over 1E60. Beyond this number the game started to suffer from precision errors in the way metabits are calculated. Note there is still a light nerf on the "mined bonus" over 1 trillion metabits earned. To compare in build 8.47 we reduced production increase per metabit earned by 1/100th. In the latest build 8.49 that reduction of boost is only 1/4th.
Thanks again for letting us know the tuning felt off.
8.47
In this current update (8.47), we've reworked a few internal issues of how the game has been handling numbers.
Culturally Correct Number Formatting
The game now displays numbers based on you regional settings!
We know the Game Transfer system has been an issue for multiple players. With this latest update, we are hoping that this system will now work for everyone.
*Note: Game Transfer will be fully available once its updated across all devices (Android, IOS, Steam). Please wait to test this until the mobile updates are released next week. Thank you!
Price & Prestige Boost Changes
In the last update, we adjusted the prices for many of the main tree Entropy generators. This has made it easier to get late-game Mammal content.
However, in response to this adjustment, we've nerfed the "Mined Metabits" prestige bonus by a substantial amount. We will also be looking further into transferring the reduction of the "Mined Metabits" bonus into new Reality Engine nodes.
Fixing Corrupted Data in Save Files
We've introduced an internal cleaning function in case your save file becomes corrupted! If you experience errors related to international currency or date format, this system will revert those stats.
Bonus: The T-Rex is selectable again in Mesozoic Valley! We also gave him back his crown.
Please let us know if you are experiencing any issues with this update in the comments. We appreciate your feedback!
