Let’s face it, the main reason that most people play Mortal Kombat 11 will be the finishing moves. Fatalities have been a staple since the original Mortal Kombat and have ranged from the simple and effective, to darkly comedic. Some are stinkers, some are spectacles. The codes for the second fatalities for each character are hidden away in the Krypt, but we’ve got all the combinations you need right here and you don’t need to unlock them first.

And yes, they’re bringing that banging theme song back with them. NetherRealm’s latest in the revived and ha-ha-hilariously gory fighting game series continues with another story campaign (which have been an unexpected highlight since the reboot), more new fighters, and more spine-tearingly silly murdermoves. I was not ‘doing a joke’ about the theme song, by the way; hear the new remix in the launch trailer below.

Warner Bros. is trying to plug Mortal Kombat 11 leaks after street date is broken

Mortal Kombat 11's street date was shattered this week - and now publisher Warner Bros. is desperately trying to plug leaks.

Mortal Kombat 11's official release date is 23rd April 2019, but UK customers are already in possession of the game after online retailers delivered it early.

Gameplay videos showing significant story moments are all over YouTube, with some content creators including revelations in thumbnails and video titles.

Shao Khan's infamous "You Suck!" taunt is back for Mortal Kombat 11

If you're a fan of the Mortal Kombat series, you'll probably know about Shao Khan's taunts.

The barrel-chested announcer has boomed out taunts for years, warning his hapless foes they're about to get crushed by his outrageously-sized man fists as well as narrating the action as he sits on his stone throne.

Shao Khan in Mortal Kombat 11, fully revealed in a video released by developer NetherRealm overnight, trades on nostalgia for these taunts. In the gameplay we see his infamous "you suck!" finger point line, as well as his villainous laugh.

D'Vorah's Fatality in Mortal Kombat 11 is maybe the most disgusting (best?) yet

Mortal Kombat is a series known for its gore - and the Fatalities are the goriest moves of them all.

But there's one Fatality in particular I've seen in Mortal Kombat 11 that's really grossed me out.

The Fatality in question belongs to D'Vorah, an insect-like being who made her debut in Mortal Kombat X. She's got horrible stabby limbs, pulls insect babies out of her stomach and uses a swarm of flying insects to dig holes into her opponent. Yuck.

As we edge ever closer to the release date for Mortal Kombat 11, another Kombat Kast has aired for Mortal Kombat 11 and we now have official confirmation that Kitana will be in the game. Many of the 25 or so characters have been revealed so far, but a couple are still yet to have been given some screen time. Given that information tends to get a bit muddied with character reveals for fighting games, I thought I’d put a collection together of the characters that have been officially revealed, as well as who is likely to be joining the roster.

Mortal Kombat 11 has a Kollector - yes, Kollector with a K because this is Mortal Kombat of course.

Mortal Kombat 11's Kollector isn't much like Marvel's, though. Kollector with a K has multiple arms and rips the organs right out of his enemy's body before stuffing them in his backpack. Yum.

The video, below, reveals gameplay of The Kollector for the first time after he'd popped up in the background of previously-released story trailers. He serves Shao Kahn (a, sigh, pre-order bonus character) who spent years in hiding. Now he's back and he's pissed.
