Added palette truck to buy in the vehicle store west of home farm. Reasonably priced (if not flat cheap).
Apples highlighted yellow in Engineers Sight
Altered shopkeeper prices for building materials. These are not to sell there, really, but possible if player is missing some desperate Euros.
Fixed: selling materials at shopkeepers was selling each material (i.e. plank) for a whole palette store price. So, 100 times more expensive (100 planks in a palette).
Shown money/social points/time bar when making transactions with shopkeepers
Material sources (i.e. planks) sold to a shopkeeper will not appear in his inventory (so cannot be bought from him again).
Proper name of material palette displayed to pick up/drop when operating crane (was planks only) and forklift
Removed OSB palette from the store (not a valid material source).
Wider detection boxes for gates in both vehicle stores
Wider detection boxes for plank dryers’ doors.
Palettes with materials sources could have been kicked out of the store. Also, these were falling down a bit through the floor. Both issues fixed.
Improved mass and damping for forklifts, should be more stable.
New forklift is faster, accelerates better and has bigger tank than the old forklift
When operating forklift in first person view (from inside) the camera was also moving. Fixed.
Fixed z-fighting on floors in material store.
Pad manipulates cranes and forklifts using left analogue instead of right. Since B must be pressed too, this is more comfortable. Wheels turning and gas are disabled since these operations are done on static vehicles anyway.
On rare occasion picking up debarked log from mill to the crane and then to the log trailer might have disrupted trailer physics badly. Fixed.
Exploit fix: it was cheaper to buy palettes in the store than it is to sell them = easy money. Palettes are more expensive to buy, so it makes sense to produce them.
It also means that player must earn some money before he makes James quest (if he intended to buy palettes) or create some of his own.
Improved vehicle chassis friction, damping and inertia parameters. Should not hang on obstacles easily.
Improved directional wheel friction, side wheel friction, spin parameters, torque parameters. Should not dig into ground to erratic extent.
Speed meter has more similar torque/bhp as typical gas pedal. Not there yet (still a bit too strong), will be improved more but needs some testing.
Much improved detection if the log should actually “catch & bind” into the trailer. This might have caused problems with overloaded trailer physics including instability and pushing the trailer into terrain.
Traffic cars much better detect possible collisions with longer player vehicles. They should no longer drive into the back or front of player lorry or long trailer.
Forklifts without loads had very strangely limited upper fork extent. Fixed.
Several internal memory optimizations
And also the hotfix to v0.42i
Fixed rebuilding of player garage, house, kid's garden and few other building parts
Fixed plank palette seen from below
Fixed bug spawning random objects after selling building materials from platform to shopkeepers
Debarked logs could still cause problems with the old log trailer. Fixed.
Much nicer faster renderer (for lower end laptops and video cards with less than 1GB of dedicated VRAM).
Firstly, we want to thank you for your trust and for playing our game! Seeing all of you writing your reviews, and seeing the number of people playing it really put a smile on our face. Thanks to you, we can create more projects, and thanks to your feedback we can make our games better.
Since the Lumberjack’s Dynasty is already available on Early Access, now it's time for us to start polishing the game up. Every day we work really hard on the game to make it better and better. Over the last few days we prepared Hotfixes for you. Take a look at what we fixed up and enjoy your new adventure in Pinegrove even more.
Lumberjack's Dynasty Hotfix #1:
- Removed losing SP when driving through neighbour's forest. - Polishes to NPC spoken subtitle format. - Typo fixed: "exceleration" to "acceleration". - Better handling of cut branches physics. Should be softer and smoother upon cut. No more trees should fall under the terrain. - Selecting New Game did not reset player skillset - fixed. - Introduced error handler for logs that partially fall under the ground (rare, but possible for heavy tree in difficult terrain). These get put up above the ground with branches already cut off. - Sometimes (rare) logs picked up were losing proper physics params, floating in the air. Fixed. - Player cannot lift logs from the trailer, but icons suggested he could. Fixed. - Floating (in water) logs cannot be lifted by player when he is also swimming. Icon was suggesting otherwise - fixed. - Introduction quest: forbidden exiting vehicle after loading logs onto the trailer. Otherwise player could go to aunt on foot leaving uncle stuck by the water. - More smooth velocity display (59 / 60 kmh). - On higher shadow settings faraway trees (billboards) also cast shadows.
Lumberjack's Dynasty Hotfix #2:
- Improvements to vehicle physics. - Fixed James lorry (in general those platform lorries). Could dig into the ground deeply, should be much better now. - Fixed bug of enabling a tool after exiting vehicle. - Translucent scaffolds seen in preview (ES) used to have physics. Fixed. - Forbidden to cut down trees that are already cut down (placed that way in the world). - Quests to cut down forests lend that forest just for the time of the task, do not give it to player forever as it was. However, players with these quest completed already, will not have these forests taken away - enjoy. - Ryan’s hair is a bit better looking (will be improved more in the future). - Several quests were made of two: quest to meet person, then separate quest to work for the same person (Ryan, Oliver). This was confusing as one quest was ending (as if too early) and the other was not visible right away. Fixed. - Proper texture for a shingle and bitumen held in hand for rebuilding work. - When rebuilding with new wood, walls turn to default wood color instead of inheriting old wall color. - Improved transitions between fixed parts of the roofs - More precise check if it is physically ok to exit the vehicle. - Temporarily blocked the agro store. Animals will return in a better form soon. - Lumber products market has a proper description on the map including product prices.

Stay tuned to our Facebook, Twitter and Discord server as we will be giving you more information and insights over the coming weeks.
It’s the end of February and that means that it’s time for our next Lumberjack’s Dynasty monthly update. If you are curious about how the production is going: sit back and read it all right here.
Let's start with the treasure chests, which we recently added to our game. If you played Farmer’s Dynasty, you know exactly what we are talking about. These chests are scattered around the world, hiding from plain view. No matter where these chests are, one thing is certain - there are interesting items hidden inside, waiting to be picked up. Those items are a great way to boost your finances, or you can use them as a gift for that someone special. The choice is all yours.
This month we’ve also managed to work a lot on the mechanics of the game itself. To be more specific, we polished the rebuilding functionality. Rebuilding materials are now integrated with the item manager and player inventory. Materials you pick up will now be in your inventory, and they can be used directly from there. You can also assign an F-key shortcut to any material (you can do it with other tools too). Only one kind of material can be lifted at a time, meaning that you can’t carry the whole store of materials as people aren't a walking warehouse (although it would be very useful during a large sale 😉). Once you've used up all the materials you picked up, you must pick up new ones from the next material palette.
While remaining about renovations, we want to mention that we recently added over 800 new building parts for rebuilding with different materials to the game. More materials mean more repairs, which means more fun.
And finally, forest areas are being revamped. We want the game to have many diverse trees - after all, having more diverse forests means more fun in a game about a Lumberjack. Each forest will have its own specific tree species, so if you need a particular kind of wood, you first need to locate the forest in which that tree grows.
This was just a taste of some of the things that we were working on during the last month. There is a lot more happening behind the scenes too. If you want, we are more than happy to share more of these production insights with you - just let us know in the comments below. And don’t forget that you can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Discord Server too - we would love to see you there and keep you in the loop.
Well, what do you know - another month is behind us. Time flies. Not long ago we spent the Holidays with our families and today we are in a new decade. It's been a while since our last Steam Update, so let’s fix that right now. Let us show you what we’ve been up to over the last month.
To start off, we’ve made improvements to our Repairing System. Repairing can now be done in sections, meaning that you can stop repairs whenever you want and continue later on, like in real life (some partners might not be too happy about that - I’ll fix the tap tomorrow Sylwia, I promise). Before these improvements, you had to finish the repairs by clicking x times to finish the section that was being repaired. And if you stopped it, for some reason, you had to start it all over again. Now, you can leave half-way through, do what you need to do, and finish the job the next time you’re repairing again. Makes life a lot easier.
Speaking of repairing, nothing would have been possible without the right tools. Even the brightest Lumberjacks and Lumberjills don't work without their specialized equipment. Plus, they make the job more “fun”. That's why we've added a lot of new tools and scaffolds to our game. Because sometimes, more is better!
And last but not least, we've added an extra aspect to the game. In Lumberjack’s Dynasty, your condition affects your skills. What does it mean? It means that if your condition is low, it temporarily disables higher skills. So, remember, don't forget to get a good night's sleep before you go and tackle that serious task ahead.
These are just some of the many things we've worked hard on over the past month. Let us know what you think about them and share your thoughts with us in the comments below. Also, if you want more Lumberjack’s Dynasty updates, follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Discord Server. And since we didn’t have a chance yet - we wish you all the best for 2020!
As some of you already have guessed, we’ll go into Early Access with Lumberjack’s Dynasty in Q1 in 2020.
We’d like to use this opportunity to thank you for your support and feedback with Farmer’s Dynasty, which has a large, active and fantastic community.
Our producer writes:
“We're very proud of our community, which has been with us through the Early Access phase of Farmer's Dynasty and has contributed significantly to the success of the title through constructive feedback. We are now looking forward to the Early Access start of Lumberjack's Dynasty and cooperation with our fans”!
While the developer team is working on updates for both games, we’d like to invite you to visit Lumberjack’s Dynasty when it is coming to the EA!
