All maps are dated and timestamped when published to the workshop. - Users should be able to "finish" your level and hit the leaderboards screen. - Remakes : don't remake a level or part of a level from a different game. Keep things unique and show us your own individual sparkle. - Maps that were under creation prior to the announcement of this Contest can be entered, as long as a complete map version (layout and any non-greybox art) was not released for public download. - Multiple map entries are permitted, however each entry will be judged for its own particular quality. - this is not a campaign competition, but a single map competition. - this is a solo person comp, we will not be splitting the prizes. - you are allowed to use prefabs from the editor - you are not allowed to use other users' prefabs for this particular contest. In future competitions we will change that rule.
- Fixed some menu back buttons not working - Updated SSR shader for better performance, maybe, I can't tell a difference - Updated graphics options menu to say (non native) next to the screen overlay effect - Fixed logout bug when local session timer expires - Added an input delay when focusing on the application to stop alt tab button pressed - Set inputs to ignore non gamepad joysticks, will maybe fix the whole HOTAS issue, also allows hot-swapping of controllers now
Hey all! Were going to be hosting a for fun speedrun challenge for the community.
To participate: you must be a Kickstarter Backer and in the ALPHA DEMO already. If you aren't in the Alpha demo, keep your eyes and ears open in the near future :)
Today we're going to be hanging out in our discord and challenging each other to beat the record on any of the currently "PUBLISHED" maps. There are quite a few on there, so pick your favorite and grab that first place!
That's right! We said we weren't going to, but we couldn’t wait any longer! This is our way of saying thanks for all your wonderful support. Who better to give an exclusive look at our Alpha Build than our backers!
Before we make our next balance pass, we’d love to hear what you like, don’t like, and where we can improve the game.
BONUS: We’re also including the Pro-Engine Level Editor that we used to create the game. We want you to test the tools and make some fun maps, be the first on our Workshop!
We're going to be rolling out an Alpha demo to you guys starting in mid-June. Make sure to join our discord for Alpha news and Level Editor help. Jason will be running tutorial sessions several times a week!
That's the best part, you are already in! If you backed us on Kickstarter for $20 or more. We will be rolling out builds slowly to the different tiers (using Steam) starting in mid-June. You will be notified via your email address through Kickstarter.
What To Expect?
Inside the Alpha build is a custom made Mini-Campaign that includes 3 levels we need testing on. Make sure you find the secret exit to unlock some extra goodies!
One Final Thing
We wanted to thank everyone who's been hanging out with us and giving us support over the last year. It's been a wild ride and things are moving at a steady pace. From us here at Bounding Box Software, Thanks!
We've been pretty busy getting more content into the game. New weapons and enemies! The fun just doesn't stop.
We also partnered up with Humble Bundle! That's right! Humble Bundle is now publishing Prodeus and we are working close with them to make sure the product shines it's best!
Check out their announcement trailer they put together.
Weapons in Action!
Arc Rail - Is a deadly lightning gun that can snipe enemies from across the map. It also has a tesla style fire mode that arcs shots between enemies that are close to one another. Get creative!
Plexus - Fires large energy particles that link to each other. I has a few different fire modes, but all of them just.... destroy anything in it's path :)
A few new enemies have crawled into view. We're excited to share the new Sniper and Toxic Zombie types.
Sniper Zombie - has deadly aim that will hit you unless you take cover! Clever dodging and gun play will net you the win when fighting against this crafty enemy.
Toxic Zombie - A waste filled balloon waiting to be popped! Kill him near other enemies to inflict extra damage.
A cool level design feature allows you to pick his color to match your toxic waste.
Friendly reminder that our game comes with a built-in Level editor and Community Workshop!
That's it for the quick update. Thanks for all the new followers everyone! We don't always browse the steam forums, but if you would like to talk to us directly, head on over to our Discord channel or Twitter. We're on there every day.
Special message to our Steam Community. Sorry for the lack of updates, we'll do better in the future. If you're looking for more daily / weekly updates instead of bi-monthly, jump over to our twitter or hang out on our discord. Also, make sure you read the Kickstarter Update, it's super jam packed with lots of cool stuff!
