as written in our last update here on Steam: Our Wishlist Event for Dead Age 2 shows first results!

At the end of February, we nearly unlocked the first step of our Wishlist Event: 10,000 wishes to unlock the animated portraits for Dead Age 2 - only 1,000 wishes were missing.



And now the good news: In the meantime, we reached 10,000 wishes for Dead Age 2 and unlocked the animated portraits! Our designers are now getting to work to create the animated portraits for all characters. Thank you very, very much for wishlisting the game, for your ongoing support and also for your feedback. Everything is very much appreciated!

And what's next? With 20,000 wishes you will unlock additional animations for humans and zombies in combat.

The animated portraits only need 1.000 more wishes and then they will be definitely implemented to the game! While there were no animated portraits in Dead Age, this is a completely new feature that breathes more life into the characters. Here you can see an example of the conversations in Dead Age 2:

Dear Survivors,

the year is slowly coming to an end and we would like to take this opportunity to say "thank you"!

Thank you for all your feedback, the exchange with you guys and your interest in Dead Age and Dead Age 2! We are working hard to launch the game into Steam Early Access in late Q1 or early Q2 2020. It takes quite some time to implement all the cool new features and your feedback and we only want to offer you guys the best Dead Age 2 experience possible!

More information on the game and (of course) also on the launch date for Dead Age 2 will be revealed soon. In the meantime you can check out Dead Age on your PlayStation 4 (that we just released yesterday!) and on your Xbox One with improved controller support.

three years in the making and we are finally close to reach our goal: Our successful indie survival RPG Dead Age (84% very positive) is back with a vengeance!

Dead Age 2 is a unique combination of survival, management, Rogue-Like events, turn-based combat, classic role-playing game with tons of quests and a story in which your decisions directly effect plot progression!

Like we did with Dead Age in 2016 we will release Dage Age 2 in early 2020 to Steam Early Access. Why? Because we want to optimize the game within the last month of the development together with you guys because we want to offer you the best possible Dead Age experience!

And we've got more great news for you! You can improve Dead Age 2 even further with our Wishlist event. Wishlist the game and unlock more and more cool features and extensions for it by increasing the number of wishes. We keep you posted with updates when new goals have been reached!
