That means bargains on hundreds of great games! We're happy to let you know that Castle Flipper is one of them. Until February 3, 10 AM PST, you can buy it at 60% discount!
If you're looking for a cozy game to accompany you during cold and windy evenings, this might be a title for you! Just sit down, explore medieval locations and slowly – house by house, castle by castle – build your impressive Kingdom!
We hope this year’s Christmas gave you an opportunity to spend some wonderful time with your family and friends! 🎄🎁
As the end of the year is approaching, we’d like to take this chance and look back on these past 7 months since Castle Flipper’s release. What better way to do it than take a look at your creations? After all, they’re the greatest prize we – as the game’s developers – can get!
We’ve been regularly taking a stroll through the Screenshots section of the game’s Steam page and if you’ve been following us on our other social media profiles, you might have seen posts showing some of our favourites. We’d like to do something similar today, as well!
We’d like to start with a grand castle that we were recently shown by one of our players. They had actually reached out to us for help and when we saw their creation (at the time work in progress, might we add) we were amazed! We were very happy when the same player contacted us again some time later to show us the final result. 🥰 Take a look!
A lot of you have built some incredible castles as well!
However, as you well know, while castles are a big part of Castle Flipper, you can build ordinary medieval houses as well. The ones you build are hardly ever ordinary – they're brimming with personality and all the love that goes into them really shows! 🤩
Just so you know, we are only showing you a small portion of what our amazing community has created in Castle Flipper – if we were to include everything, this post would turn into a monster filled with screenshots!
Instead, we’d like to take this chance and thank each one of you – Castle Flipper players! You’re the ones who have truly breathed life into this medieval world with your creativity and dedication! We’re always very happy whenever we get to see a screenshot or other kind messages from you.
From the bottom of our hearts – thank you so much! ❤️
We hope even more wonderful creations like this will show up in 2022.
With that, we’d like to wish you a Happy New Year! We hope it will be a year full of creativity and motivation, which will help you achieve great things in the coming year!
We’re happy to announce that Patch v1.2 is now LIVE!
We have included many fixes, but other than that, there are also some improvements and changes that should make your flipping experience a little better. 🙂
Visible “snapping” points
When trying to place any object that requires snapping to another object, you will now see snapping points, which indicate where you can place it. A lot of you encountered problems when trying to place certain objects, such as a set of stairs in your house – we hope this addition will clear things up a little.
Weather effects stay outdoors
We have finally fixed the issue that has been bothering you for some time now. No longer will the rain make its way into your houses! Sure, maybe that won’t impact your gaming experience all that much, but your tenants definitely wouldn’t want to get drenched in their sleep. 😉
Object rotation
We have made some improvements to the rotation mechanic. Most noticeably, if you feel the need to move a piece of furniture rotated in a certain way, its position won’t reset to the default one. In other words, when you decide you want to move your wardrobe turned sideways a bit further to the back, when you pick it up, the wardrobe will still be turned sideways, exactly how it was before.
Similarly, when you want to place a few identical objects, once you rotate the first one and put it down, the next ones will be rotated in the same way from the get-go. You won’t need to rotate overy object individually, unless you actually need to do that.
A new set of stairs
Picture speaks for itself! While you may recognize the aesthetic, the idea was to provide you with a mirrored version of the spiral stairs, as some of you had a need for it.
