Each War Chest Royale lasts for four-five hours (see timetable below for start times). Meet your new Turkish Community Manager: Volkie! Volkie has arrived to watch over the Turkish Community in Conqueror’s Blade and make sure they have all the information they need, while having a few laughs along the way.

After a decade in Marketing & Business Development and another role within MY.GAMES, Volkie is now part of the Community Management team, and you may have already seen him streaming on our Twitch channel and chatting to players in our Discord.

We sat down with Volkie and chatted about everything from gaming on a Commodore 64 to his ideal Conqueror’s Blade weapon.

You’ve been part of MY.GAMES for over a year now, starting in Customer Support. How does it feel to join the Community Management team?

As professionals working with a fun spirit here in MY.GAMES; we are like a family. When I was a support team member, I was already working closely with the Community Team. Although I know the Community Team well, I am very excited to be a part of the team as a newcomer!

What has been your favourite moment in the Community Team so far?

It was the Clash event last year that the Community Team and I fought together against moderators and community members. We got beat up bad, but it was good to share the same fate as a team. I could say that the result will not be the same this time in this year’s event... Wait for it.

What do you hope to provide for and bring to the Turkish Community?

I have known the Turkish community for a long time, and I know their expectations. Although sometimes they think that I am a bot in support [chat], I will show them I am not and will always be there to listen to them. I want to be a bridge between the community and the game and have fun together.



What was the first game you ever played?

It was “Paperboy” on Commodore 64 - a newspaper delivery boy riding a bicycle in a neighbourhood throwing newspapers to the right places in front of the houses. It was really fun. After I got a PC, I started with “Prince” and “Civilization”. Those were good times.

What do you like to do for fun (apart from gaming)?

I am in love with nature and love being free. Apart from gaming, I travel with my campervan and my dog always goes with me. We are good buddies with nature.

What is your favourite Conqueror’s Blade Unit and why?

My favourite Unit is definitely the Elite Symmachean Stalwarts. They are very functional. Although they have shields and are strong defensively, they are also great for attacking every kind of Unit and Hero if you brace theirs spears at the right place and time.

If you could add a new weapon to Conqueror’s Blade, what would it be?

I like how the Iron Reapers fight, so I would add a Flail to the game. I think we have enough ranged classes, and a Flail could be a strong class against heavy armours.

What does “iconic” mean when we discuss the many Units in Conqueror’s Blade? Is it troops who are the strongest? Or perhaps soldiers with incredible Veterancy lines and defensive skills? Or possibly, a Unit whose popularity began as a joke but who quickly became a fan favourite to bring onto the battlefield...

The Serfs were voted one of the most iconic Units by Conqueror’s Blade moderators and community managers. Just like certain pocket monsters, this unit can be evolved into a force to be reckoned with. This Rustic Era Unit has been brought into battle 708,120 times by players worldwide and annihilated a total of 11,579,770 enemy soldiers (all-time)!

The 0-Star Sword & Shield Infantry Unit may be cheap and cheerful (coming in at a ridiculously low Leadership cost of 40), but their popularity knows no bounds. They’re particularly skilled at gathering resources for their Warlord and have several defensive skills to unlock along their Veterancy lines.

In real-world history, Serfs were the lowest social class of feudal society in Medieval Europe during the 9th to 15th centuries, but unlike peasants, they were not allowed to own land and instead had to work directly for their landlords.



In Conqueror’s Blade, while Serfs may be in the lowest tier of Units, they are at the height of their powers when their charging skills are unlocked, rushing into hordes of enemies and dealing massive damage along the way.

Whether you’re just filling out your Warband Build with an inexpensive unit, or you just find the Serfs to be exceptionally talented at healing themselves with their ‘Healing Herbs’ order, there’s no doubt that this unit has mass appeal.

The Conqueror’s City belongs to the Tyrant, and he won’t give up control without fighting a battle for the ages. His evil reign has spread like a plague across the Borderlands, and the Conqueror’s City is the last bastion left to seize for those Houses and Alliances who seek to put an end to his rule in Season IX: Tyranny.

On November 22, Stage 5: Imperial Dawn will begin, and the Conqueror’s City can be reclaimed from the Tyrant and his rebel armies. Before you can hope to take down this threat, you’ll need to know a few things first.



How do you participate in the Territory War for the Conqueror’s City?

Territory Wars take place every Tuesday and Saturday, and are a great way for you and your allies to increase your holdings and gain more Prestige. During Stage 5 (November 22-December 6), there will be four Territory Wars.

Before you can attack the Conqueror’s City, you must first take one of the Conqueror’s City Gates (and have enough Prestige to declare war on them). Your House or Alliance must also already possess one other fief (in addition to the Gate) in the Borderlands before you can begin this battle, so make sure you’ve expanded your empire. If a House has captured one of the four surrounding gates of the city and meets the criteria, they will then be able to declare war on the Conqueror’s City, attempt to recover it from the Tyrant, and ward off other contenders.

When will the victors be decided?

The House or Alliance that claims and holds the Conqueror’s City at the end of Stage 5 will be its sole owners until the Territory War reset, just before the start of Season X. Past victors will still be honoured in the future through a ‘Hall Of Fame’ on the official Conqueror’s Blade website.

What are the Conqueror’s City rewards for House and Alliance members and leaders?

Members of the House and Alliance which win the Conqueror’s City will receive a special Player Title. Prizes for claiming dominion over the Conqueror’s City are larger than for ordinary fiefs, and those rewards will be revealed soon.

Rewards will be calculated once the final battles have ended, and distributed after that — stay tuned to the official website for more information.
