The Immortal Warlord and Desert Master Collector’s Packs are among the most popular bundles available via MY.GAMES Market. To ensure that legacy continues, we are offering a massive discount on both, lasting until midnight on November 17.
Combining the Immortal Hero and Rubicante Horse Attires, the Immortal Warlord is completed by 30 days of Premium Account time and 25,000 Silver and has been reduced by 30%. The Desert Master pack, also with 30 days of Premium Account time and 25,000 Silver, boasts the enigmatic Desert Raider Hero Attire and comes with a 42% discount.
If that’s not enough, we’ve introduced King’s Edict bundles with discounts of up to 40% on single items, so you can load your Heroes with Glory before Season V comes to an end.
Please be aware that from 7:00 CET on November 12 (10:00 pm PST 11/11), the Conqueror’s Blade servers will be inaccessible. The downtime is expected to last for 4 hours.
Patch Notes will be updated during downtime. Meanwhile, stay tuned to our Discord channel in case of any immediate server updates.
Starting TODAY at 09:00 (server time) and lasting until 23:00 on Monday, November 16, all battles initiated through matchmaking will earn combatants - warlords and their loyal units - an XP bonus of 50%. So, if you’ve been looking for an excuse to improve yourself and your troops, you now have one!
With its sun-bleached mountainsides, fragrant olive groves and whitewashed settlements, the picturesque region of Anadolou has recently become a popular destination for warlords wanting to get away from the familiar lands of the landlocked north. Whether to seek out its ancient history, take a cruise along its celebrated coastline, or just to bring its citizens to heel, Anadolou is the perfect getaway destination for the gadabout general.
Geography
Being the southernmost region of the known world, Anadolou shares much of its border with Ungverija to the north. It is separated from its closest neighbour by the Hajlott mountains and the great Sea of Tranquility. To the east, the Southern Great Range rears up, within which lies an ancient mountain pass linking Anadolou with the Borderlands.
The region can be roughly divided into three zones. In the more temperate north is the peninsula separated from the rest of Anadolou by the Mortengis Sea and the Sea of Tranquility. It is here that that vibrant capital of Reginoplis is located, the region’s foremost hub when it comes to trade, culture and conquest.
To the south, across the crystalline straits, the central plains are the most populous area in the region, home to the cities of Anagoncli, Bassidina and Ankuros. The rich arable lands are dominated by Mount Terrafo to the east and enclosed by a line of mountains extending from the Sedi Massif towards the open sea.
Finally, Anadolou’s southernmost expanse, with its mineral-rich soils and verdant forests, contains some of the region’s oldest tumbledown settlements, from Altina in the south to the picturesque (and often-under-siege) town of Axiopa on the shores of Lake Geropot - famous of course for its freshwater produce!
How to get there
Cut off for many years at the behest of local warlords, Anadolou has only recently opened its borders to outsiders. There are currently two routes into the region: along the Isteni Pass linking the border town of Epidunta with Imre Kastély in Ungverija, and the more treacherous route from Fossatum in the east to Segnia in the southern Borderlands. Just approach the Empyrean Guard and he will usher you across the border.
History
Despite its isolation from the rest of the world, the history of Anadolou has been remarkably well documented, thanks to the tireless work of scholars toiling in the great libraries of Reginoplis and Scythias. Recently unearthed texts tell of epic struggles, as the ancient Kingdom of Empyros attempted to unite Anadolou, the proud Symmachean Brotherhood leading the charge against the Sicanians that once dominated the region.
In more recent times, the self-styled Emperor of Anadolou, Sultan Fatih Suleyman IV, confidently marched on Reginopolis thinking the Sicanian defenders weak and disorganised. His creative attacks on the city (by land and sea), ultimately failed, allowing less conservative leaders to take charge and bring about a change in the region that made it more welcoming of outsiders.
Getting around
The roads linking the various villages, forts and towns of Anadolou are as busy and as numerous as anywhere else, and just as likely to be crossed by roving bands of brigands and rebels. Visitors to the region should bring with them the means to deal with any unwanted attention and can expect to have to defend themselves from time to time - or pay the price.
One mode of transport that is unique to the region is the ships that ferry troops and trade between the numerous port fiefs along the region’s coastline. Whether travelling alone or with a marauding army, you will need to hire safe passage to cross the sea beyond Reginoplis, or indeed to visit the picturesque city of Asterionpolis on the small island of Malta in the west.
Broadly speaking, there are two types of port settlement: Fishing Ports and Trade Ports. Both have the capacity to ferry a well-stocked army to a nearby destination, but in being less accustomed to military logistics, you may find fishing trawlers to be less reliable than transport ships. Disembarking at a Fishing Port from a Trade Port isn’t an issue, but when you set sail from a Fishing Port, you can only sail to other Fishing Ports and items could be lost in transit from your wagon and Unit Kits may be damaged. This makes Trade Ports important strategic locations (as well as the cities that service them), so if you are aiming to successfully wage war in the region, having access to Trade Ports is essential.
Places to see
Malta Island Malta guards the western trade routes into the Straits of Mortengis and is an effective staging post from which to strike south against the ports of Tranquility and Phoenike.
Harrowhead The hills east of Altina provide a stunning view of the lowlands around Lake Harrowhead, leading up to the important and resource-rich lands around Rubusta and Oyaniva. Sadly, the local rebels don’t take too kindly to tourists.
Lake Geropot Eager armies marching south from Segnia will barely stop to notice, but for the casual explorer, the settlements that punctuate Lake Geropot, together with the great Terrafo peak at its back, provide a welcome oasis of beauty and tranquillity.
Scythias Between them, the Iconion fiefs of Marceraota, Catassu and Scythias (not forgetting the fortresses of Hypate and Thrasarichu) circle a resource-rich area that would be the envy of any force equal to controlling Reginopolis itself.
Reginopolis Coming to Anadolou and not including Reginopolis in your travel plans would be a mistake. As vast and as opulent as the Conqueror’s City itself, Reginopolis is as intimidating to those that seek to understand its history as to those that wish to make themselves a part of its future. As with many cities, be wary of drunk locals trying to impress the Sherrif by spoiling for a duel.

If you’re of the opinion that fire should be fought with fire, think again. Not only will a unit of Siphonarioi out-flame anything else on the current medieval battlefield, it comes with the Resist Flame trait. Not so much to protect itself from enemy fire, you understand, but to offset the likelihood that a unit of Siphonarioi is as much a danger to itself as anyone else. Thankfully, battles tend to be long extinguished before any incidents of self-immolation flare-up.
Unlocking
You will be able to command a Siphonarioi unit temporarily after completing one series of Season V unit challenges. The unit will become permanently yours after finishing a fourth stage (along with any XP the unit may have earned along the way). Complete Stages 3 and 7 to secure the Doctrines that will ignite the unit’s searing battlefield abilities.

Siphonarioi Hellfire Doctrine
Gameplay
With a high Leadership cost and just a handful of warriors per unit, Siphonarioi should only be deployed when they can effect a powerful advantage on the battlefield. Typically this is when assaulting fortifications and capture points in enclosed spaces. Make sure you have a friendly unit nearby to get them out of difficult situations, for despite good defence stats (and devastating fire Traits, of course), Siphonarioi can quickly become overwhelmed by superior enemy numbers.
Progression
Siphonarioi have a maximum unit level of 30, with Veterancy Points investable across two branches. The top branch generally works to increase the effectiveness of the unit’s fire attack and reduce the cooldown timer, while the lower branch improves the units staying power and defensive capabilities. Which one you go for will depend on whether you want a unit that burns twice as much for half as long!
Just the facts: Siphonarioi (5-star, ranged)

“It is stern work, it is perilous work, to thrust your hand in the sun And pull out a spark of immortal flame to warm the hearts of men: But Prometheus, torn by the claws and beaks whose task is never done, Would be tortured another eternity to go stealing fire again.”
- ‘The Proud Poet’, Joyce Kilmer (1917)
In all of human history, few discoveries have been as important as that of fire. Both a versatile tool and a deadly weapon, fire continues to shape the fortunes of humankind with its potential to create, sustain, and destroy. As the United Kingdom celebrates Bonfire Night on November 5 with fiery festivities, join us as we delve into the ancient history that inspired the fire-based weapons and units featured in Season V: Legacy of Fire!
Prior to the events of Season V, King John of the Kingdom of Empyros commissioned his alchemists to create the liquid hellfire in order to maintain superiority over the Symmachean Brotherhood. This deadly composition fuels the weapons of the Zykalian Militia and the Siphonarioi.
As history buffs may have guessed, hellfire is actually based on Greek fire, a historic invention used by the Byzantine Greeks starting in the 7th century CE. This incendiary substance remained an instrumental weapon for the Byzantine Empire for over seven centuries, and its value was said to be so great that Emperor Romanos II declared Greek fire one of three things, alongside imperial regalia and royal princesses, that should never be allowed to fall into enemy hands.
Byzantine ships primarily used Greek fire in naval battles. Using a complex propulsion system, crews would jettison streams of the substance at enemy ships to start blazes which water had no effect on. In defence of the city of Constantinople, uncrewed ships laden with Greek fire were reportedly even sent upwind into the heart of enemy fleets to cause chaos from within. Wood and flesh burned alike in the undying flames, and the Byzantines leveraged this infamy and destructive power to safeguard their empire and Constantinople from centuries of sieges and repeated naval attacks.
Portable versions of the propulsion system used on Byzantine ships, much like the cheirosiphon (Greek for ‘hand siphon’) carried by the Siphonarioi units in Conqueror’s Blade, were later developed for use on land. Certain innovations led to further portability, with clay grenades being filled with Greek fire and thrown at enemies. Indeed, tzykalia is the Greek word for ‘clay pot’, with this particular iteration of the Byzantine weapon serving as the inspiration for the Zykalian Militia grenadiers in Conqueror’s Blade.
The secrets of Greek fire are now lost, as the weaponised liquid all but disappeared into the pages of history following the Fourth Crusade and the sacking of Constantinople in 1204 CE. However, stories of its potency and power continue to burn just as brightly.
Zykalian Militia Unit Challenges are now available in Conqueror’s Blade. The Siphonarioi Unit Challenges will be active from November 9.
