There are many ways into Sun City, but breaching those walls is less than half the story. To win the battle, the heart of the city must be taken - one way, or not at all!
HISTORY
There is a saying among those that live around Sun City: that if the murderous warlords don’t get you, the ferocious winds will. Forever loaded with the abrasive sand of the surrounding valleys, the dry winds have often caused what little crops that do grow in the region to fail. But such is the demand for food that local farmers try anyway, thankful for any days where the sun isn't obscured by the stinging sand.
Naturally, Sun City has evolved into an important trade hub, for despite the inhospitable landscape, the plain on which the city is sited is at the convergence of mighty trade routes, as well as where deep and ancient wells draw all the water necessary to sustain the local population. Without them, the walls of Sun City would have long since crumbled.
SCOUTING REPORT
Sun City has two main entrances - a gate in the south wall and another in the west. Only one needs to be taken in order to progress. Both are protected by firepots and the walls are well defended with stationary cannon.
Two towers stand ready to assault the south wall and one to the west of the city. There are also four areas along each wall where ladders can be erected, as well as two along the outer east wall. There is no access for the attackers along the two northernmost quadrants of the city.
Inside the battlements there are two further Control Points that must be taken in succession, one roughly in the centre of the map and the other close by, to the north. Each occupies an interchange within what is a generally a grid-based layout.
Finally, there are three resupply points in the city. Inside the east wall (at the point along which access is blocked), in the southwest corner of the city (which becomes the attacker's spawn point later in the match) and at the midway point at the inner north wall, close to Capture Point D.
PLAN OF ATTACK
It really is a waste of time and effort to simultaneously attack both gates (unless, of course, one attack is a clever ruse), so coordinate your strategy with your fellow warlords and pick a primary target. There isn’t much to choose between the two main entrances in terms of the enemy’s defences, but the route to Capture Point C is a little more direct from B. Plus, you may find that less experienced enemies will tend towards defending Point A by default, which is something to take into consideration.
A third option is the southwest corner of the outer wall; more-or-less the midpoint between the two outer gates, which can be assaulted via ladder or tower. As a focus for your main attack at the start of a match it could falter for being easily countered, but if you need to open up a second front to outflank either an attack on the south or west gates, it’s a useful position to command - especially if you can secure the tower that overlooks the nearby resupply zone.
Given the proximity of the last two flags, it will be very tempting for the attackers to take the direct route all the way to Point D, through the centre of map, but unless you’re well-drilled as a team, you are likely to come up against some stiff resistance that doesn’t even have to be well organised to be able to contain you. Points C and D are both located at interactions with four entry points, which means that attacking through a single channel could be costly. Instead, work your way around the edges of the map and charge into each Capture Point from at least two directions simultaneously. As ever, be wary of counterattacks and being outflanked.
With the defenders spawning from the courtyard in the northwest of the city, it’s important that the attackers secure the building to the east of Capture Point D. It has a raised area where ranged units can be posted, behind which is a courtyard from where you can try to dislodge the enemy from around the area north of the capture circle. If you can do so while containing any attempts for the defenders to turn south from its spawn point, then the battle will be won.
DEFENSIVE MEASURES
There’s a lot of firepower outside the Sun City, so much that it might pay to stay within. When the attacker plays its hand, then react to counter the most pressing threat.
With the attacking team having numerous options to enter the city - and rather less of them to secure it - every second might count, so try to harry and harass your opponent rather than stubbornly holding ground. Spilling blood for every inch of the terrain will come later!
Defending Point C and D is, of course, paramount, but try to keep the positional advantage. Both points are best defended from the edge of the circle to keep from being outnumbered and outflanked. You can also hide your numbers effectively and more easily advance when you have room to manoeuver.
Roaming the channels inside the walls is a good tactic if only to keep solo warlords and their troops corralled in the centre where the battle is more easily managed. The centre must hold, but not at the expense of losing the initiative elsewhere.
One useful tactic that has been successfully deployed at Sun City is to let the attackers take Point C and gallop to Point D, before pouring into both positions from all angles. When you promote overconfidence in your enemy, it is much easier to undo!
A Spanish-speaking house that’s been taking names on the Europe West server as part of the HispaniA alliance; Furia is dedicated to PvP in all its forms, as its leader Kikus is quick to establish:
How did you first find out about Conqueror’s Blade?
The truth is that the game caught us by surprise. We hadn’t heard anything about it, despite being a video game community. When we saw it, territorial warfare quickly attracted our attention and we joined in.
Why did you decide to set up a house?
Of course, this game was made for us! Furia always has its home in any game that focuses on PvP and clan warfare.
What makes Furia different from other houses?
Our house is mostly dedicated to PvP and clan warfare. Any other activity in the game is only used to improve the experience of PvP. We work together with our allies with absolute collaboration in the achievement of our common objectives. For this, we do not hesitate to leave our lands and settle in different areas of the map. We have fought and owned territories in almost all areas of the game.
What will be Furia’s legacy in the years to come?
Furia always aims to be recognized as fierce fighters - an enemy to fear and a great ally. That is our legacy. Here, and wherever we go.
What’s your favourite class in the game?
Longbow.
What activities does the house regularly engage in?
We participate in all of the content of the game, but what keeps us here is the clan war for territories.
Who are your most trusted warlords?
Blade and Xperez. They are my right hands, the generals of our army and faithful companions
If someone wanted to contact Furia, to trade or join up...
They can contact us through our Discord, our website, or any of our officers.
Do you have any natural allies?
Falcata. We consider them our battle-brothers, and we know that together there is no enemy we cannot defeat.
Conversely, which houses do you consider mortal enemies?
Deutschorden and LaGrandeArmée are our main enemies, against whom we have fought hundreds of battles.
Many thanks to Kikus for answering our questions. If you know of a house that is deserving of similar recognition that we should profile in the future article, please make your nomination via our Discord channel.

The Battle Pass system is a new feature of the Conqueror’s Blade Season 1 update, by which you can increase the rewards you earn by progressing through a sequence of Tiers during the course of the Season. It is predicated on a new time-limited levelling system where you earn Glory points by joining battles and completing weekly Seasonal challenges. The more Glory points you amass, the higher your Nobility Tier and the more rewards you earn during a Season.
You can track your Seasonal progress via a new interface that becomes accessible when you reach level 10 and can be opened by pressing F5. It is represented on screen as a golden trophy icon to the left of the main toolbar.
There are four panels that comprise the Seasons interface:
An Overview that displays your Nobility Tier and current Conquest Token total.
The Rewards page that details the Free and Battle Pass benefits of each Tier (and also the screen via which you can buy a Battle Pass).
A panel that details the current week’s Challenges, the successful completion of which earns you Glory. If you completely a certain amount of challenges each week, you get additional rewards via the Challenge interface!
The Season Store, which is where you get to spend the Conquest Tokens awarded to you as part of Seasons gameplay.
Conquest Tokens (CTs) are specific to Seasons and form a large part of the potential awards that come from attaining a new Tier. Everyone is entitled to the Free rewards associated with specific Tiers, but if you have a Battle Pass (available for 1000 Sovereigns via the Rewards tab) you will be eligible to receive extra items and Conquest Tokens as you climb each new Tier.
For example;
There are no Free rewards at Tier 1 of Season 1, whereas those with a Battle Pass will receive ‘Grace of the Gods’ (permanent 50% boost to Glory for the Season 1 Battle Pass duration) and the ‘Stygian Order Attire Set’.
At Nobility Tier 2 all players will receive a ‘Payroll Chest of Bronze Coins’, with Battle Pass owners also benefiting from 40 Conquest Tokens.
Note: As you will retrospectively receive all the rewards up to and including those of your current Tier, you won’t lose out by waiting until later in the season before picking up a Battle Pass.
It is possible to attain a Nobility Tier of 200 during the course of a Season, which will amount to dozens of items and potentially thousands of Conquest Tokens being acquired. As mentioned, those Tokens can be redeemed via the Seasonal Store, which features exclusive attires (for Warlords, mounts, units and weapons), schematics, War Scholar consumables (Battle Relic, Treatise), as well as items more commonly associated with the main in-game Store (XP cards and Premium Account time). As a guide, Seasonal Store prices range from 10 Conquest Tokens (for a 10-Battle Unit XP Card) to 3,000 Conquest Tokens (for the stunning Turul Set).
Please be aware that as a feature of Seasons gameplay, Glory points, Nobility Tiers and their stated Rewards are all reset prior to the start of a new season. Of course, you get to keep all the items you’ve been awarded through having a Battle Pass, however, the benefits of having a Battle Pass do not carry over into a new season. Battle Passes bought during a season expire when it ends.
For a house than came to early prominence at the start of open beta testing, Millenium’s attitude towards its neighbours across the Europe West server seems remarkably detached. After hearing how it’s founder and leader, LoneWolf, was introduced to the game, we shouldn’t be surprised.
How did you first find out about Conqueror’s Blade and what attracted you to the game?
So, after two years of non-stop largescale-PvP on a different MMO, I was burned out. I was that guy who passed the torch to my officers (which they still hold and fight top guilds to this day) and put my ragged cloaks on and went down my own road. Some of my guild members told me about Conqueror’s Blade, but I told them ‘no’, as my time as a hardcore large scale PvP guild leader was over. But they convinced me, I tried it and... man, I love Conqueror’s Blade! It's the perfect game for grizzled ex-hardcore players that still want to PvP from time to time PvP without putting their lives down for the game. I am sure most of your dear readers can relate to this.
Why did you decide to set up a house in Conqueror’s Blade?
When you join guilds in MMOs, sometimes, unfortunately, you stumble upon ones you don't click with, or you encounter elitist upper leadership circles. I made this guild in 2012 just because I was tired of these sort of guilds. If you feel the same, come with us and I promise you everyone here gets treated with equality and respect.
What do you think makes Millennium different?
Win or lose, we do not care. We smile and have fun enjoying the game, as it is supposed to be. Also, most of our guys here are slightly mental and crazy, does this make us different? I believe it does.
What does Millennium hope to achieve?
Our achievements are all internal. Our achievements are not for others to see - they never have been. We want to keep contact between everyone that has played with us within our community. The people are what make the guild, not what pixel fort you own or how many kills you make. The more nice fellas we have around, the more success we’ll create.
What’s your favourite class and why?
This is a tough one. I play different weapons. I would say Glaive and Longsword are my favourites. The Glaive offers power and Longsword offers support - I like to play support.
What activities do members enjoy?
Sieges, Expeditions, Rebel camps and Territory Wars. We also like to have movie nights watching the most ****ed up movies there are.
Who are your most trusted warlords and what roles do they have?
All of my boys are what keep the guild fun and strong. I would never favoritize. I've known most of my long-term members for more than five years. Our new guys are also great people I enjoy spending time with. They all have different roles when it comes to helping me out.
I guess I could thank our diplomat Norlas, for saving me so much time and Rinion for carrying the guild like atlas carries the world.
If someone wanted to start a dialogue what should they do?
Write to one of our members to reach our recruiters/officers/diplomats and approach them with interest.
Are there other houses that you admire or that you consider to be natural allies?
Yes, there are! Special shout out to Eden and Relic, these are breathtaking fellas.
Conversely, are there any houses that you'd consider mortal enemies?
Nay. We have fought a lot of houses, probably the most active TW guilds in the game, but we don't take it personally.
Many thanks to LoneWolf for answering our questions. If you know of a house that is deserving of similar recognition that we should profile in the future article, please make your nomination via our Discord channel.
