Consumables in Conqueror’s Blade are a broad range of in-game items whose utility and value will depend largely on how you apportion your time and resources when playing the game. Of all the items, boosts and currencies listed below that are necessary to compete, all are available simply by playing the game. Those that aren’t are items of convenience. All are consumable - simply acquire and replace when necessary!

Updated 14th June 2019: Edits and clarifications made to some descriptions, including for Bronze and Silver coins
CURRENCIES
BRONZE COINS
What are they?
Bronze Coins are the primary currency of Conqueror’s Blade and are used for almost every transaction, such as buying and replenishing your units and their equipment.
Bronze is also used to pay NPCs that craft warlord equipment for you.
How do I earn them in-game?
Bronze is awarded in large quantities when completing some quests and after each successful battle (Standard, Ironman mode & Expedition battles).
You can also find Bronze in lost wagons and camps in the open world. get it as login bonus (O) and as a reward for weekly and fief quests.
How do I get more?
If you have an active Premium Account, you will earn 30% more Bronze from matched battles.
Anything else I should know?
The losers of a battle will often earn just Bronze as much as the winners, depending on how well you participated in the battle. That’s because bragging rights and XP have more value.
Not all quests reward Bronze. Quests can reward different combinations of Honour, Skill points, experience point, Bronze, and/or other items.
SILVER COINS
What are they?
Silver is the currency used by players at the in-game Market to buy and sell goods such as Resources, Materials, Unit Equipment, Mounts, Siege Engines and some consumables.
NPCs ask for Silver when selling artillery, crafting artillery or equipment for your troops and refining resources.
How can I earn them in-game?
Matched battles and open world battles have a chance to reward the victors with a small quantity of Silver.
You can earn Silver Coins by selling items and resources you have gathered, found, won, or crafted in the Market for other players to purchase. The more rare and in-demand the item, the higher the price it can command.
A good amount of Silver can be earned from your Fief each week (if you managed to retain it after that week’s Territory Wars are over)
How else can I get Silver Coins?
Silver Coins cannot be directly acquired with Sovereigns, but some items bought with Sovereigns can be sold in the Market for Silver.
Silver is awarded in greater quantities after winning higher-risk battles, such as Ironman and Expedition battles. The greater the risk, the greater the reward.
Also, after destroying Rebel Camps or winning high-risk battles, there is a chance to find a Secret Vault which can be unlocked with Vault Keys. (See Vault Key for more details.)
Anything else I should know?
Silver can be used as a substitute for Bronze in the event that you don't have enough for a transaction. You will be prompted to confirm such a purchase.
SOVEREIGNS
What are they?
Sovereigns (aka Gold Sovereigns) are purchased using real world money are used exclusively to buy hero and unit attire (cosmetic skins) and invest in extra consumables or convenience items via the in-game Store.
Where can I get them in-game?
Sovereigns can only be bought with local real-world currency from the game Store.
How else do I get them?
It is currently not possible to acquire Sovereigns through gameplay or via any in-game trade mechanisms.
Anything else I should know?
We have carefully tailored Sovereigns to ensure that game balance is not adversely affected while offering players with little time on their hands a means to acquire items of convenience. For example, an active Premium Account bought with Sovereigns will increase the amount of Bronze, Honor, and XP you gain from the events that give you those rewards during the course of normal play.
ITEMS
EXPANSION PERMIT

A single Expansion Permit allows you to increase the size of your Barracks; to allow for the creation, recruitment and development of an additional unit squad.

Anything else I should know?

An Expansion Permit does not change the total number of units you can deploy at any one time, only from those you can choose to deploy. In the open world, the limit for all players is five (upon leaving your castle), while the number of units you can deploy to an instant battle is determined by the Leadership attribute.

You will find that they drop from loot collected in the open world.

There’s no limit to the number of Horse Troughs you can buy, but unless you’re offering them for sale in the game’s Market, you won’t ever need more than a few.

PERSONAL HISTORY
What is it?
The Personal History item allows you to reset a character’s Basic Attributes (Strength, Agility, Armour, Toughness), so that you can reassign all the attribute points you have amassed as a consequence of levelling up. Personal History items are won as your character levels up at preset intervals. It’s also possible to acquire them from some loot drops.

Anything else?
A Requisition Order isn’t necessary on your first visit to a resource site - each day you can extract at least one cycle of resources (without cost If the fief that owns the land allows it). However, if you have used up your daily extraction visits for a site, a Requisition Order will be required for each one.

VAULT KEY
What is it?
A Vault Key is an inventory item that’s used to unlock rewards from a Secret Vault, which is a bonus loot screen that has a chance of appearing after successfully eliminating a Rebel Camp or after high-risk Expedition and Ironman Mode Battles. There is also a small chance of it appearing after winning standard battles.

The Guild CBT may have faded into memory, but let us not forget the accomplishments of Blutschwur - not just the most dominant house on the EU server, but one that ended up securing twice as many territories as its closest rival. We sat down with founder Arukaa soon after Blutschwur’s victory, to see what the future might hold.
HOW DID YOU FIRST FIND OUT ABOUT CONQUEROR’S BLADE AND WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO THE GAME?
Honestly, I can't really remember how I found out about Conqueror's Blade, but, after discovering the game I visited its official website and subscribed to the newsletter. I found the game very attractive, as it's very similar to another game I liked, although I hope (CB’s) community will be bigger. In my opinion, the success of a game depends on a healthy community, which is the reason why I try to have a positive impact on it.
WHY DID YOU SET UP A HOUSE?
Blutschwur (blood oath) was originally founded to find fellow German players as, at the time, there was no German-speaking fraction in Maoyang.
WHAT DO YOU THINK MAKES YOUR HOUSE DISTINCT?
I think that our community is very special as people think beyond borders. When I refer to "us", it's not only about the “house” of Blutschwur as Blutschwur is Blutsturm and Blutsturm consists of three houses which form our community. Thus, Blutschwur founded the alliance Blutsturm, which consists of a large community and not of three separate houses. Blutschwur is only a part of the whole group. The alliance is also managed like one group which is why no house has its own issues. We strive to solve problems jointly.
YOUR HOUSE WAS A CHAMPION OF THE GUILD CBT STAGE. CAN YOU EXPLAIN HOW CAME TO DOMINATE THE OPPOSITION?
Blutsturm has always tried to form healthy communities. That is why we have a common server for diplomatic affairs, where all the leaders can communicate with each other (if they want) – irrespective of their attitude towards Blutsturm. We wanted to make sure that leaders can find one another fast to sort out problems or maybe even to merge groups so that there aren't 1000 different smaller groups - which would’ve been rather disadvantageous at the time. During the war we communicated internally with our members from Maoyang, as well with our allies, which was why we were able to rely on our own strengths and on the assistance of our allies while avoiding other conflicts at the same time.
WHAT ARE YOUR AMBITIONS FOR THE HOUSE WHEN THE GAME GOES LIVE?
This is a very good question. Blutsturm itself will continue recruiting members and try to find a territory which matches our ideas and which we can defend. Furthermore, since we are interested in having a healthy community, we don't generally exclude possible wars within Maoyang, but we strive to avoid conflicts on a personal level (in our opinion, it's possible to fight with fair means).
Therefore, we will continue to support the diplomatic Discord server and offer help and advice if necessary. In order to take care of diplomatic relations, we have established a separate area within our alliance which can be changed in size if necessary.
According to how the territories are organized, we will try to establish similar structures in other areas where we are present, too. The success of this kind of project depends on the whole community, of course.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CLASS TO PLAY AS AND WHY?
My main weapon is the glaive. Why? I am used to commanding troops, which is why I am quite aware of their strength and I use them not thinking of it as a 1-vs-1 simulator. Also, the glaive is the proper weapon for a commander, as it's suitable for eliminating other units and buffing allied units.
WHO ARE YOUR MOST TRUSTED WARLORDS AND WHAT ROLES DO THEY COMMAND WITHIN THE GROUP?
Within the (Blutsturm) structure, I'd say there are my three area managers who manage one of the three main sectors within the alliance. Together with me, they take care of everything that concerns the alliance and manage the leading positions of their respective sectors: everything that has to do with warfare, diplomatic relations, internal structures, member management, resource management, conflict resolution, etc.
IF SOMEONE WANTED TO JOIN YOUR HOUSE OR START A DIALOG TOWARDS FUTURE TRADE OR ESTABLISHING A PACT, WHAT SHOULD THEY DO?
I am always the person to contact first. If necessary, I will delegate questions to the respective section within the alliance. This also applies to future leaders of houses in Maoyang (the Eastern region) who are interested in joining the Diplomatie server. In any case, I am always available via Discord (Aruka#7792).
ARE THERE OTHER HOUSES THAT YOU CONSIDER TO BE NATURAL ALLIES OR ENEMIES?
Since we currently don't have a fixed position (neutral, friendly, hostile) towards most of the other houses and this will only develop during the actual game, at the moment we are watching the behaviour of the several groups. On the basis of this information, our diplomats will make decisions.
Apart from that, many mechanics are not yet clear enough for detailed planning. Many players still don't know in which territories they are going to start or even which territories will be available at the time the OBT starts, which makes diplomatic planning very difficult. Furthermore, there are some factions which try to stay hidden, as they are probably afraid of spies (as they don't want others to know where they are going to go).
Many thanks to Arukaa for answering our questions. If you know of a house that is deserving of similar recognition that we should profile in the future article, please make your nomination via our Discord channel.
While the end of another closed beta test isn’t the only thrilling conclusion to a medieval fantasy scheduled for this weekend, for us it’s the only one that matters. To celebrate recent developments (new and updated features, improved server stability), we’re having one of our Open Weekends, which, as hinted at in the name, is for anyone and everyone to enjoy. If you haven’t already done so, just sign-up, download and play - no pre-order pack required!
The servers are already up and will be welcoming players, new and old, until 10:00 CEST (01:00 PDT) on Monday 20th May.
Note there are character and inventory boosts aplenty, new and upgraded features to enjoy and no flying dragons with infinite ammo making the battles below seem irrelevant. Sure, you might see a few misplaced trebuchets in front of castle walls, but our warlords have an excuse - they are still learning their craft.
Have fun on the battlements and we’ll see you bright and early next week - ready to hear about the next chapter of Conqueror’s Blade!
The Final Closed Beta Test has come and almost gone without us having a proper chance to welcome it, but at least there’s an open weekend to look forward to!
In this week's round-up, we also have details on Guild Hub migration for House Founder’s Pack owners and an exhaustive look at consumables and currencies that will be available very soon.
Whether it’s a purse full of silver or a massive boost up to level 30, we’ve tended to be quite generous with boosting new characters during closed beta testing. This is because we want to create the conditions for certain things to happen, or for certain aspects of play to arise, which can’t always occur in a short space of time when everyone is fumbling about with barely any XP points or copper coins to their name.
The situation is no different for the Final CBT and subsequent open weekend, which is why when you create a new character, you’ll discover the following:
All characters will start at level 1
36,000 skillpoint boost (enough to study all the skills for one weapon class)
All achievements unlocked (so that no skills are locked)
100,000 bronze coins, 50,000 silver coins, 30,000 honor for your spending pleasure.
In addition, each new character will find in their inventory:
50x Extraction Tokens
120x Ultimate Scrolls for all weapon classes
20x common Artillery Chests
10x common level 30 weapons (one per class)
Light/Medium/Heavy level 30 armor sets (boots, helmet, chest and gloves)
10x special XP books that can be used from level 21 (enough to boost characters to level 36)
In addition to the above, a selection of Conqueror’s Pack items have been applied to inventories (so that those that have pre-ordered can see some of what they’re getting, and everyone else can see what they’ll be missing!)
It’s the end of an era for Conqueror’s Blade, one in which the game is about to charge out from the shadows of closed beta testing and into the light of open play. Before then we have one final and very important CBT phase to complete.
Starting right now and ending 10:00 CEST (01:00 PDT) on Saturday 18th May, the Final CBT is just a short period of access. However, it remains a critical one as we stress test the servers and unleash new features to compliment those from last month’s Spring Mayhem.
If you want to take part in the Final CBT and be the first to check out what’s new and updated, you can either pick up a pre-order pack (which comes with imminent Early Access fitted as standard), or, you can simply hold off until the Final CBT ends - at which point the full, free and final Open Weekend will begin.
Whenever you choose to join us in the days ahead, we hope you enjoy these last few moments of relative peace, before the real and bloody business of medieval conquest begins!
New artillery deployment tutorial mission has been added.
Added more temporary units to tutorial missions.
New resources gathering and crafting missions added at level 15.
New appearance items added as tutorial rewards.
Some enemies in tutorial battles have been made weaker.
Quest icons (over NPC heads and on the minimap) have been adjusted.
Added a corresponding tooltip to switch unit when an active unit is almost killed.
Players must now finish at least one in the practice camp (vs. AI) before attempting PvP.
Houses and alliances
The number of alliances (Kingdoms) that can be allied has been decreased from five to three.
The number of alliances (Kingdoms) that can be deemed hostile has been increased from 10 to 15.
Adjusted in-game description of house reputation.
House search function allows you to prioritise the display of houses that are local to the region.
Global Map and Territory War
Collectable random objects added to Global Map. These objects are specific to each player (when you see or collect the object, it does not affect other players - they have their own). Examination of these objects will provide a player with random rewards of different value (silver, crafting resources, consumables). Note: After being examined it will take 1-7 days for a new random object to appear.
A fief can’t be made to lose more than 100 prosperity points (equal to one city level) during a single Territory War.
Retreat, warlord death or battle loss on the Global map will turn soldiers in all army units into wounded: 15% of soldiers for PvP battles and 5% of soldiers for PvE battles.
Silver reward has been increased for owning cities and forts.
Inns added to the Global Map, where forage can be restored and units healed (unless a Territory War is in progress).
Rebel Suppression Orders are no longer required to raid Rebel Camps.
Wax Seal removed from NPC shop.
Fixed: horse model error in the big world.
Fixed: oversized siege weapon model error in the big world.
Rewards
After various game activities (Rebel Camps - high probability, Expeditions - average probability, Ironman - average probability, Standard battles - low probability), the player may encounter a bonus reward interface. By using a Skeleton Key players can earn extra silver and basic crafting materials and equipment. Players may open up to 20 vaults per week.
1, 2 and 3 Skeleton Keys added in respect of Squire’s, Knight’s and Marshal’s chests (weekly quests rewards). Note: additional keys can be obtained as weekly rewards by those with Premium Accounts.
Units
Era requirements adjusted: Feudal Era now requires only two units to be unlocked from the Rustic Era. Chivalric Era - three units from the previous era. Silver Era - four units. Requirements for Heroic Era (five units) and Golden Era (six units) remain unchanged.
New UI and unit parameters/career visualisation added.
Fixed the following tier-6 unit bugs:
Iron Reapers were sometimes unable to attack
Winged Hussars attack damage when not charging was incorrect
Fire Lance Cavalry were unable to shoot whilst attacking
Crafting
Crafting duration for all operations reduced by a factor of ten.
Character
Leadership removed as a Basic Attribute.
Basic Leadership value for level 1 warlords now 100. Additional 100 Leadership obtained at levels 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60.
Some achievements required for studying character skills, were removed.
Matchmaking
New matchmaking bracket added for levels 10-20.
Matchmaking maps for “Standard Battles” are now randomly chosen when applying
Daily and weekly limits for “Ironman” and “Expedition” modes removed.
Chat
The chat function now has channels for each supported language (EN/FR/DE/ES/RU).
Game client will default to language-specific channel based on client language settings. Note that chat channels will only accept characters respective to the host language.

When the history of Conqueror’s Blade is written, the house known as Chaos will probably be mentioned more than a few times. In what little that has been written so far, it already features prominently. Whether the Russian house continues to feature might come down to the efforts of its leader, Irreality.
HOW DID YOU FIRST FIND OUT ABOUT CONQUEROR’S BLADE AND WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO THE GAME?
Our community learned about Conqueror's Blade more than a year ago, before the first European test of the game. Then, together with TheRed, we fought against houses like Crimson Blades. Since then we have participated in all other test stages.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO SET UP A HOUSE IN CONQUEROR’S BLADE?
Because I lead a community, and when the community heads towards a new game, I create a guild there.
WHAT MAKES CHAOS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER HOUSES?
We have players with extensive MMO experience, and, as a result, a capacity to learn quickly and adapt. We have strong leadership, but members are not bound to the desires and whims of the leader. We offer fair progression and loot distribution based on an individual’s contribution to raids, diplomacy, community, tournaments and overall levels of combat.
WHAT DOES CHAOS WANT TO ACHIEVE AS A HOUSE?
Undoubtedly our main efforts will be to dominate in whatever region we choose. But for us it is not enough just to want to win the map. We have been engaged in all previous tests and are actively training new community members; raising the level of team coordination, strategy and developing common tactics, so we can achieve our aims.
Unlike many other houses that claim to be similar, my words are supported by our achievements, both during testing and in the tournament. I definitely regard our roster as one of the strongest in the game.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE CLASS TO PLAY AS AND WHY?
During testing I’ve played many classes. In the recent build of the game, my choice was Longsword and Shield. It’s a great support class and effective against all but Twin Blades.
WHO ARE YOUR MOST TRUSTED AIDES AND WHAT ROLES DO THEY COMMAND WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION?
I try to ensure that every member of the community adequately understands their task. When they do, I’m not required to interfere as much when issues arise. Nevertheless, of course in my team there are a number of officers and assistants who help me in managing raid composition and tactics.
IF SOMEONE WANTED TO START A DIALOGUE TOWARDS FUTURE TRADE OR ESTABLISHING A PACT, WHAT SHOULD THEY DO?
ARE THERE OTHER HOUSES THAT YOU ADMIRE OR THAT YOU CONSIDER TO BE NATURAL ALLIES?
During previous testing we actively cooperated with two houses, Holy Cross and Red Wing Orlandinos. In general, the policy of our community and myself does not strongly encourage alliances, but if necessary we are ready to act together against a common adversary.
ARE THERE ANY HOUSES THAT POSE A MORTAL THREAT TO CHAOS?
I can not say that we have any deadly enemies. We are at war with everyone we need to be at war with and therefore many other houses are building alliances against us, trying together to attack our territories and so on. But all this is also part of the policy of our community - a war against the whole world. We will never give up on glorious PvP - this is the goal of our game!
CHAOS WAS RAMPANT IN THE SPRING MAYHEM TOURNAMENT. WHAT WAS THE SECRET OF YOUR SUCCESS?
Game experience and competent tactics. Two of our team hadn’t played the game before the Spring Mayhem test, but this didn’t stop them preparing. Our attitude was very serious. I would advise other teams in future to assemble a team with which it will be comfortable to play, train and even lose together. After all, there is no progress without errors.
Many thanks to Irreality for answering our questions. If you know of a house that is deserving of similar recognition that we should profile in the future article, please make your nomination via our Discord channel.
