With smouldering towers forlorn against the grey sky and stocky battlements in a permanent state of reconstruction, Harbour City feels like the kind of place where war doesn’t just visit, but regularly outstays its welcome. Its barricaded streets and deserted houses betray what was once a thriving regional market, one that now seems barely able to regain its composure before another brace of warring factions passes through.
All the same, it’s a city worth fighting over, and, as with all Siege maps, its walls are the key to victory:
The attackers might seem to have the tactical advantage, with plenty of room to manoeuvre and places to shield its intentions before a breach is attempted. Meanwhile, the defenders have a broad and open front to defend. All it would take for the attackers to enter the city is for a cunning warlord to climb the wall and slip below to unlatch one of the two hidden side entrances.
But, the attackers have to take point A before it can move to take B and both capture zones - indeed, all areas within the walls - are easy for the defenders to focus on once the outer defence is lost, especially if it can retain the ability to reinforce and re-arm from both flanks simultaneously. Although there are no obvious areas in which the enemy can be boxed into a desperate standstill, to be able to outmanoeuvre the foe can be just as effective.
All Siege maps offer up a game of two halves - breaching the walls and then moving to take the urban centre - but in the case of Harbour City, with its broad battlements and short, closed-off lanes, those two halves have the potential to play out more distinctly than across some of the more established cities in Conqueror’s Blade. Let battle commence!
The Conqueror’s Blade dressing-up up box recently got a little fuller with the addition of three new warlord skins, allowing those of you who like to stand out on the battlefield - or confuse their enemies by looking like one class but being another - a few more options to do so.
The Empyrean Order, Eagle Knight and Solar Order attire sets are available in male and female variations and can be equipped by any class. As with all warlord attires, they don’t change the effectiveness of a character or their equipment; instead only seeking to make you look even more badass than you already are.
Be aware that when bought in-game, the sets will be automatically issued to your currently-active character and cannot later be transferred to another.
It’s all very well having the shiniest armour and a well-groomed horse on which to strut around the battlefield, but if your weapon looks like it’s been pulled out of a bog then it’s going to bring the whole look down. No, if you want to appear all regal and indomitable, as all the best warlords do, you should consider buffing up your weapon of choice with a new skin.
Weapon skins are brand new to the game and are applied to equipped weapons much like cosmetic warlord and horse armour items. They don’t change the base items in any way, nor do they add or subtract from its attributes, but they do look awesome, which is pretty important in any medieval setting.
Honour Guard's Ceremonial Set (Short-sword & Shield)
Crescent Blood Moon Blade (Glaive)
Knight-Banneret's Heraldry (Longsword & Shield)
The King's Justice (Poleaxe)
Snow Leopard Spear
Thousand Souls Nodachi
Brass Dragon Firelock
Sanguine Scorpion (Bow)
Amethystine Shortbow
Fiery Wrath Daggers (Dual Blades)
For this first release, there are ten weapon skins to choose from; one each for the ten current weapon specialisations. All of them are available for purchase as separate items in-game (F6) and cannot be transferred once bought - so be sure you’re logged in with your spear dude, for example, if you want to poke your enemies with your niftier-looking spear.
Weekly News Summary has been off-air for a couple of weeks and will be returning to its usual format next week. In the meantime, here’s a recap on what you might have missed:
Finally, some breaking news that's straight from our producers, who have just announced the completion of the following, just in time for the weekend!
We've given out compensation packages to all eligible players across all three 3 servers (7 days Premium Account time + 2500 silver). Players should see it in their Mailboxes.
We’ve fixed the City upgrade issue and given out compensation to those affected, with the cost difference transferred to players automatically.
Auction House issues are fixed and the feature is now fully functional.
Guild leaders affected by camp transfer issues have been compensated with 5 Migration Tokens.
Last but not least, the Mountain Struggle DUEL Mode will be enabled today at 20:00 CEST (11:00 PDT), allowing players to earn some extra skill pages. The mode will be enabled at the same time as IRONMAN and will last for 3 hours rather than 2.
That’s it for now, Warlords. Rest assured that we’ll be back next week with more Conqueror’s Blade news - in video form this time! Until then, see you on the battlements!
We are pleased to announce that, in addition to our continuing efforts to increase server efficiency across our established servers, we will soon be launching a new European server.
“Europe West 2” will be accessible from the main screen after a scheduled maintenance period on Saturday 22nd June, and will offer a fresh start for those that venture forth to explore unclaimed lands. Of course, we don’t expect them to remain unclaimed for long!
New server FAQ:
Why are you creating a new server? To provide a fresh start for those that wish to experience it, and to ease some of the pressure on “Europe West”, which is the most populated of our three current servers.
Can I transfer my existing/current character to the new server? There are no plans to offer character transfers at this moment in time. You will need to create a new character to play on the new server.
Can I create a new character on the new server and also keep my character on the old server? You can have up to 10 characters on each server, so with a new server, you can create 10 more characters than you could before!
Can I send my pre-order pack and Collector’s Pack items to the new Europe West 2 server? If you have items in your Account Inventory that have yet to be issued to one of your characters, then you can create a new character on EU West 2 and transfer those items to it.
Can I transfer any of my Storage items from the website to the new server? Though you must select a server, Account Inventory (aka Storage) items are issued directly to characters. If you have items in your Storage area and a character on the new server, you can make a transfer.
Can I transfer items I have already sent in-game from my current character to the new server? No. There are no character-to-character transfers. If you have already transferred an item to a character on another server, it is permanently bound to that character and cannot be retransferred to another.
Will there be other new servers for other regions? New servers will be considered if it becomes necessary.
UPDATE (June 24): Territory Wars will be coming out of “Drill Mode” and returning in its original and intended form this week, after what’s been a very successful investigation - thanks to you!
However, in order to ensure the least amount of disruption in case there are unforeseen issues, there will be a change to the weekly events schedule.
Rather than enabling Territory Wars on all servers on Tuesday 25th June, it will be active at the usual time only on the EU East server, with Ironman Mode replacing it on the other servers. If things go as well as we expect them to, Territory Wars will proceed on NA, EU West and EU West 2 servers on Wednesday 26th June at the usual time.
In effect, EU East will be following the established schedule, with the Tuesday and Wednesday events swapped for the other servers. Please prepare your troops and plan your week accordingly!
ORIGINAL STORY (June 21): Due to issues that are proving hard to replicate away from the live servers, the Territory Wars feature of Conqueror’s Blade has been temporarily disabled and will be put into what we’re calling ‘Drill Mode’.
Basically, we need your help to get Territory Wars working as intended, so we’re lowering the barriers to entry so that more players can take part. We’re also removing any ownership changes that normally occur as a result of Territory Wars (which means all territories taken during a war will revert back to their original owners at the end), to compensate for which, we’re increasing the rewards for participation. Think of this whole exercise it as a worthwhile training period for your troops, so that those who’ve not enjoyed Territory Wars can do so, while veterans can hone their skills and abilities
What we’re hoping to do behind the scenes is to drill deep down into the code and the data, which is something we can only do effectively when there are large numbers taking part, and find the source of the issues we’ve been experiencing. Be aware that because of the complexity of the issues, it may be necessary to keep Territory Wars in Drill Mode for future events, just to see if any fixes we subsequently apply are effective - but we’ll let you know how things pan out.
The basic rules of Territory Wars won't be changing: the foraging costs when marching in the open world will be the same, you’ll still need to click attack and choose a side to start an engagement, you only have one life and the outcomes follow the same rules - only without the long-term consequences. However, there will be some adjustments made...
Battle Adjustments
No war declaration is required to take part.
Defenders are able to join the attacking side and vice versa.
There will be no Territory War house commanders.
Territory ownership will temporarily change if the attacking side wins, but when the event ends, fief ownership will be restored to the house which owned it prior to the start of the event.
The prosperity of a city won't be affected by the outcome of a battle, which means the city won't degrade as a result of being fought over.
There’s no unit death or injury, meaning battles will be closer to matchmaking battles in terms of unit attrition.
Reward Adjustments
Whether they win or lose, attackers will be rewarded. Rewards will be based on performance and will be sent by mail after the battle is finished.
Defenders will be rewarded after the event, based on how much extra bonus is left in the fief. This rule is the same as per the weekly bonus that’s given out to members.
Each fief will be topped up with 2 days-worth of fief bonus, and this bonus is only to be applied for this event (it won't affect a fief's existing bonus). If the attacker wins, they will be rewarded with half of the remaining extra bonus that was added.
We hope “Drill Mode” will be a win-win situation for everyone, as more players will have the opportunity to try out the feature while we can get on with the business of improving it. We’ll let you know how we get on, and, of course, when the full-blooded no-quarter-given version of Territory Wars will be returning.
It’s week #2 in our plan to release new maps into Conqueror’s Blade, which means the second map has been unlocked!
Going by the simple and deceptive name Canyon, it’s an 8-vs-8 Field Battle map dominated by a dusty and deserted mining town, nestled at the intersection of a series of deep-sided ravines.
There’s an interesting symmetry in the map design, with all three capture points on the settlement outskirts, but all are very close to one another, which should lead to some very fast-paced and intense battles. In addition, because the Quartermaster stations are also sited close to the capture zones, retreating armies could find themselves in trouble if their flanks aren’t secure. Meanwhile, a danger for newcomers is that, being at the mercy of the sinewy streets, they could find themselves taking a few wrong turns to secure them. It’s not a map to get lost in, but the canyon itself does have a disorientating effect.
If you’ve been developing Conqueror’s Blade videos or live-streaming your in-game adventures, we’d like to be able to support you so that your audience and that of Conqueror’s Blade can grow together. It’s the reason we developed the MY.GAMES Content Creator Program, and why we’re inviting those who want to take things to the next level sign-up and take part.
The full details about what the MY.GAMES Content Creator Program is can be found here. Essentially it offers three things: unique access to an innovative suite of free tools called Donation Alerts, a 25% revenue share in all sales of select packs via MyLoot and ongoing access to MY.GAMES staff for support and promotion. In return, all that we ask is that you continue to support Conqueror’s Blade in the same way that you have been doing.
We’re particularly proud to be able to share in sales revenues because it allows you to focus more on the depth and breadth of your content. The packs will be unique to the Content Creator Program and, for our most successful creators, we’ll even go so far as to tailor packs specific to you and your audiences - so that as well as packs you can earn from, there could be a pack with your name on it!
All you have to do to be considered for the MY.GAMES Content Creator Program is to sign up. We have a FAQ that should answer some of your questions, or you can email us if there are any it doesn’t.
We look forward to receiving your application and working with you to help make Conqueror’s Blade community content ever better!

In the wake of recent issues, but always with an optimistic eye on the future of Conqueror's Blade, game producer Alexey Larionov recently sat down with a bunch of your questions to record a video update for your viewing pleasure. Here’s what he had to say:
