Hello! In answer to your feedback, we’ve decided to give you a few details on the professions available in Margonem. Below, you’ll find descriptions of all the professions in the game, along with both pros and cons of each one. If you find this kind of thread interesting, feel free to share your suggestions on future Tips & Tricks posts on our Community board.
Warrior
Warrior has the greatest number of health points out of all professions. Their primary defense attributes are a shield and a solid armor. Warriors cannot heal themselves during battles, though. Warriors are pretty strong in attack too - especially when they use a two-handed weapon instead of carrying a shield. A Warrior, just like a Blade Dancer and a Paladin, can inflict deep wounds on their opponents.
Warrior pros: - strong attack, - strong physical defense, - high number of health points, - ability to parry hits and neutralize arrows, - can reduce slow-down and stun effects.
Warrior cons: - low attack speed, - low armor value when carrying a two-handed weapon, - low magical resistance, - low evasion level.
Mage
Mage is very strong in terms of attack, at the expanse of their health value, which is relatively low. This profession fights at a distance, usually using a wand, an orb or even a staff. Some Mages prefer to combine their wands with shields, though. Mages can control three of the Game Elements - fire, ice and lightning. In terms of defense, Absorption gained from items, and healing ability are the crucial elements for Mages.
Mage pros: - damage types combination ability, - high levels of round healing, - high levels of Absorption and Magic Resistance, - Aura ability, which strengthens the allies, - 100% hit accuracy.
Mage cons: - slow-downs and stuns susceptibility, - low levels of health and armor, - counterattack susceptibility due to Magic Resistance.
Hunter
Hunter fights their opponents at a distance, basing primarily on their speed. Hunters use bows and arrows, which poison, deeply wound or inflict physical damage on the opponents. A Hunter's defense bases mostly on dodging hits, however, Hunters cannot dodge full Magic attacks. Hunter health and armor levels are limited to allow in achieving the highest possible attack speed out of all professions.
Hunter pros: - high dodge chance, - high attack speed, - ability to inflict damages omitting opponents' armors, - increases opponents' damage susceptibility, - slow-down and stun resistance.
Hunter cons: - damage susceptibility due to low health and armor levels, - susceptibility to magic attacks, - susceptibility to dodge reduction.
Paladin
Paladin is the combination of a Warrior and a Mage. Paladins inflict both physical and magic damage on their opponents. They most often carry a shield and a one-handed weapon, enchanted with one of the Game Elements - fire, ice or lightning. A Paladin is considered to be the most defensive profession out of all due to their high armor levels and shield carrying.
Paladin pros: - Element enchanted weapons (fire, ice and lightning), - relatively high armor levels, - ability to parry hits and dodge arrows, - ability to counterattack the opponent's critical hits, - Aura ability, which strengthens the allies.
Paladin cons: - weak attack, - round loss and slow-down susceptibility, - high skill prices, - no offensive zonal skills.
Tracker
Tracker is the combination of a Mage and a Hunter. Trackers use ranged weapons - enchanted bows and arrows. A Tracker can control three of the Game Elements - fire, ice and lightning, which effects depend on assigned skills. Tracker's defense is primarily based on dodging, absorption and round healing.
Tracker pros: - high physical and magic damage, - ability to inflict damages omitting opponents' armors, - high dodge chance, - high attack speed.
Tracker cons: - slow-downs and stuns susceptibility, - high skill prices, - susceptibility to dodge reduction.
Blade Dancer
Blade Dancer is very fast due to their limited armor, but at the expense of health points. Their defense is primarily based on dodging, however, Blade Dancer cannot dodge full Magic attacks. Blade Dancers fight using two weapons - primary and auxiliary, which can poison, deeply wound or inflict physical damage on the opponents.
Blade Dancer pros: - high dodge chance, - ability to weaken the opponents' healing sources, - slow-down and stun resistance, - high round damage.
Blade Dancer cons: - low health and armor levels, - susceptibility to magic attacks, - high need for accessing inventorial replacements, - susceptibility to dodge reduction.
