WELCOME TO THE PIT!
We are delighted to announce "The Pit" - second DLC for Crossroads Inn, which allows you to run illegal businesses in your tavern. From now your granary, warehouse, guest rooms, and even the entire inn may be built underground! And what is underground is not always visible to the city authorities and guards...
You've become a respected innkeeper, and you've earned this title. Guests are satisfied and the river of cash is flowing straight into your register. The dreams of running your own inn have become reality, days are made of routine activities, you order deliveries, discipline drunks and drill lazy employees. Everything is beautiful - but is it all there is? Is this what the rest of your life is bound to be? Once you wanted to be a hero, a warrior, an adventurer! The inn is a good business, but there must be more to life!
You come up with an idea – a bold one, and not entirely legal. What if you add a pinch of spice to this business? Some real emotions. Not giving it too much thought, you start digging a small dungeon underneath the tavern. It will not be an ordinary cellar. You have your finger on the pulse of the entertainment business in Delcrys, and you know that there's a new thing that excites everyone, from the common folk to the aristocracy: illegal fighting, an underground circle of brave people, who are not afraid of any risk and care not for unsightly scars and gaps in teeth. But with the underground tournaments come all kinds of suspicious types, and circulation of illegal goods, the ones that should be kept away from the wary looks of the authorities. Drugs, gambling, and mixed martial arts – this will be the inn!
In The Pit:
You will build a special underground arena and organize illegal fistfights
You will earn gold on betting - guests will bet on the results of the underground tournaments
You'll get ingredients only available on the black market, including Griffon eggs and daer meat, to serve new exclusive dishes
You will plant new plants: the forbidden pipe herbs and the "medicinal" plants
You will build a smaller arena, where liquerat fights will take place
You will install exercise equipment on which your boxers and other residents will be able to train, including a climbing pole, punching bags, and new combat mannequins
You will install new lamps on the ceiling, allowing you to run an underground pipe herb plantation
You will buy an alchemical table to make medicine... or drugs
You will build a dungeon where you will put problematic guests
Along with new earning opportunities, there are also new threats: city guard raids and confidants among guests. Protect yourself by building a special system of secret passages
The Pit will be available for PC on the 28th of April.

We know that new translations and patches are the things that you like the most so... today you get both!
Russian language was something that we wanted to add as soon as possible, but we wanted to be sure, that it will be on the highest possible level. Now, we are pretty sure, that loads of you will have more fun from playing Crossroads Inn!
What's more, we added key combination CTRL+F2 in Main Menu, which will automatically open Editor!
And the most important! We added Ranen and Kairn, 2 new Vedetas!
New Features: - Added Russian language. Please make sure to let us know if you encounter any text issues!
- Updated tenants. A "tenant" is a guest who is renting one of your Private Rooms. You can now train their attributes, and decide which of them should be their priority. You also need some specific equipment for training: - for Strength, Endurance and Dexterity - Training Dummy - Charisma - conversing with other guests (Vedetas can also improve it by using their special piece of furniture, a table with a mirror) - Intelligence - a Bookshelf, or any other piece of furniture that has books on it When an attribute improves, an icon will be displayed on top of your tenant. Note that if the tenant is unhappy and his basic needs are constantly being ignored, his attributes will be lowered!
- Added key combination CTRL+F2, which - when used in Main Menu - will launch the Editor. We have also removed an .exe file with the Editor as we found that some players have hardware issues preventing it from working. With this key combination, there should be no more issues.
- Having more than 50% influence with a faction, while having all of them unlocked, will cause the NPCs belonging to the former one to appear in your inn as potential tenants.
- Added 2 new Vedetas, Ranen from Velendis, Sambria and Kairn from Salebritte, Yorevale
UI: - The game will no longer occasionally prevent progress after hiring a Kitchenhand in the Tutorial. - You can now only select Repair command on objects that actually require repairs. - Deleting Stairs will now refund money. - Made it easier to place down portraits in Act 3; using CTRL should no longer be required. - A profesion of every potential tenant (adventuer, vedeta etc.) is now displayed on their info screen. - Recipes now correctly display which furniture is needed for cooking. - The game now treats Vedeta beds as normal beds, but only for Private rooms. - Tier 2 Servants are no longer bald. - Supply carts on the map now use a different icon than other, random carts. - Minor fixes to gui and icons.
Miscellanious: - Cleanniness of the room is now affected by the amount of clean and dirty furniture in that room. - Changed how room Quality is calculated - cleanniness, furniture and size matter equally. - Made changes to positive and negative traits of many pieces of Furniture. - Slightly nerfed Trovin's taxes in Act 3. - Guests infected with parasites can now bring them to your tavern and infect your furniture. Make sure to contain them before they spread! Please note that this requires Pests & Puppies DLC to trigger. - Repair animation now correctly uses a hammer. - Fixed a misleading typo on crafting buttons; it is now clear when you turn it On and Off. - Fixed an issue that prevented Sambrit from dropping its price after one of the quests. - Most Fireplaces can now be used as Grills.

After exploring European historical settings in We. The Revolution and Help Will Come Tomorrow (to be released late April!) we now decided to tell you a truly american tale, the one that revolves around really dark episodes of American crime history...
This is the Zodiac Speaking is a dark, fact-based single player FPP adventure thriller, combining stealth & detective modes in a stylized world of California 1970s and based on the story of Zodiac, one of the most famous never-caught serial killers. Play as Robert Hartnell, a San Francisco journalist, who receives a phone call from the Zodiac, greeting him with the memorable ‘Hello, this is the Zodiac speaking’...
This is the Zodiac Speaking is a thriller with elements of classic horrors, stealth mechanics, detective mode and several endings to discover. The gloomy atmosphere of the game is achieved through the original, stylized graphics and epic cinematic music. The co-author of the script to This is the Zodiac Speaking is Lukasz Orbitowski, one of the best Polish writers, laureate of the prestigious Paszporty Polityki award and nominated for the Nike award. Together with Krzysztof Grudziński, Head of Punch Punk Games, they plunged into the dark and dangerous 70s to produce an immersive and mature story. Music for the game was created by A_GIM, restless innovator and experimenter of the polish electronic scene!

What’s more, Adventurer’s quests are now even more profitable for innkeepers. Now, when you complete a given quest, they may come back with additional gold or surprising gossips! NOTE: This will work only on new quests though!
Important information for our Russian and Chinese friends. We would like to thank you for all your feedback. We are now working on translations for those 2 languages, but before implementing it into the game, we need to be sure, that there will be no translation or grammar errors. But you can expect them soon! :)
New Features: - Added Spanish language. Rest assured that all of the other languages that we promised are on their way too, just not yet ready! - Updated Adventurers to make sure that their missions are worth your time. After completing a quest, they will now bring either: - gold - gossips - new piece of furniture - increased influence in a nearby city - a new recipe - a "thank you" letter (which doesn't actually give you anything, but is a nice gesture!)
Items obtained by the Adventurers will now also have new icons.
UI: - Fixed an issue that prevented storage capacity information from showing up. - Recipe sale statistics will now update correctly. - Selling a floor will no longer prevent building a new floor in that spot. - Information about lore updates in the campaign will appear correctly. - Deleting an item in a window will instantly remove it from the game. - When you send someone to perform a task on the map, their portrait will be used as a location indicator. - Small tweaks to the GUI.
Today's update brings the long-awaited fixes to Stairs, QoL features and UI improvements. Read on!
AI: - Workers and guests will no longer fall and get stuck under Stairs. - Goods will now be correctly carried upstairs and downstairs; if dropped for any reason, they will be instantly picked up.
If your workers are required to make a very sharp turn after getting off the stairs, and your game speed is set to Fast, occasionally they will look like they're stuck. However, that is not the case: they will start moving on their own after a few seconds. Rest assured that this behaviour is only temporary and more fixes are coming soon!
- Slightly increased the walking speed of workers who are carrying goods, and all NPCs that are sick or drunk. - Workers and guests will no longer get stuck in Outhouses. - Lack of things to do will no longer cause workers to become so confused that they get stuck near a Counter. UI: - Garden Patch and Trellis received a new action icon, which can be used to toggle auto-planting On and Off. - Removing a Gambling Table will no longer leave the Dice floating on the spot. - Statistics of sold dishes will no longer persist between Sandbox games. - Sambrink now has correct ingredient icons displayed. - Resources needed as fuel (wood, candles, water etc) will be displayed properly in object window. - Some GUI windows were re-designed to be more clear for the player. - A Campaign quest about unlocking a new social group will now correctly display its text.
We would also like to use this opportunity to address a common misconception: the importance of FPS. At the moment, the game's engine is very sensitive to low FPS values. Playing on configurations that are too weak for the game can cause issues with pathing and AI behaviour. This is especially visible on Mac configurations, and when using Fast mode during gameplay. While we work on improvements to stability, please make sure that your software configuration allows the game to run smoothly at least on Low graphical settings.

We are happy to let you know that today we’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign for Help Will Come Tomorrow, a true-born survival game and another step in Klabater’s bold journey in search of meaningful, story-driven games.
We soooo are happy to finally unveil more details about Help Will Come Tomorrow. The game was shown during Gamescom 2019 previously, and we are now in a much more advanced stage of development. This is why we decided to add a demo, to let everyone know that Help Will Come Tomorrow is already in a good shape. We really think that we have found our own unique approach to survival game formula, with a more narrative-driven and psychological touch.

During last weeks, our team focused on rebalance of the social groups and their preferences, which was the thing that we were thinking of almost since the release of the game.
What's more, we made adjustments to Shifts. Your workers will now follow them correctly!
New Features: - We have rebalanced social groups and their preferences, as follows: Townsfolk - they hate foreign country decor, but love their own country decor, for all rooms. Nobles - they don't trust low prices, but they don't mind high prices. Travelers - they want to rent Guest Rooms more often. They will be very disappointed if the tavern does not have a Guest Room. Outlaws - they don't care if the tavern is clean or not, they just want low prices and drinks. This social group is the most likely to steal, smoke pipes and cause fights. Distressed - they don't feel good in fancy rooms.
Following these guidelines should help with quests that require a certain amount of influence for a faction. - You can now permit or disable access to rooms for each worker separately on the Room Info screen. This only works for tasks: don't be surprised if your servant enters a room to chat or get some Gossips!
UI: - Outline option will no longer reset after loading a save. - Cost reduction upgrades will now correctly display the current price. - Interaction with destroyed objects will no longer be disabled after loading a game. They can now be repaired or sold without issues.
AI: - Made adjustments to Shifts; workers will now follow them correctly. - Workers now require less space to perform their cleaning duties in a small room; however, note that it is still possible to make the room too small and cramped for cleaning. - Updates to Dogs AI - they will now scare off pests more efficiently.
Miscellanious: - Greatly reduced the amount of Fame needed before guests start using Guest Rooms. - Fixed an issue that could block Adventurer's quests if the game is saved and loaded during the Adventurer's transition to the Map. - Goods will now be placed correctly on Pallete's current position, instead of its previous location. - "Rug" item will now correctly display its texture. - A perk responsible for reducing Gossip cost of Trade Routes will now work correctly. - A perk responsible for unlocking more land will now work correctly. - Fixed some stability issues thanks to crashing saved games provided by the community.

It's getting dark in Delcrys! Day of the Moon has come!
Decorate your inn with new lanterns, marble statues and hire as much Vedetas as possible. Let the celebration begin!
New Features: - Added a new Day of the Moon scenario, available in-game in the Scenarios menu. This update also adds 5 new Lanterns and 7 Statues, which can be used as decoration.
UI: - Fixed wording typos in Crate items. Added Storage tab for Crate II item. - A Bug icon will now disappear from the bed after cleaning.
AI: - Reduced the rate of triggering worker chats. This will prevent them from locking guests in very long chatting loops. - Fixed an issue that could sometimes prevent wild dogs from becoming Tame after petting triggers. Please note that petting is still not a 100% chance to tame – observe log entries to see if it was successfull or not. - Guests will no longer stop moving permanently after ignored by a Vedeta.
Miscellanious: - Fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash when a sick worker tried curing himself.
