Tribes of Midgard - Gearbox_CM Noelle
The launch of Tribes of Midgard Season 3: Inferno Saga is bringing many new updates to the game, including Blessing and Combat improvements coming to both Saga and Survival Mode!

Ahead of the launch day, we wanted to share with you some of the improvements coming to Blessings and several Combat Updates we’ve got in store.

These changes, as well as all content from previous Seasons, will also be included for free in the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions when Tribes of Midgard releases on those platforms.

Blessing Updates to Saga Mode

With the release of the Inferno Saga, each of the 8 classes in Saga Mode receive 2 brand new Blessings, with some also benefiting from changes to other Blessings, as well as a layout overhaul with a better grouping of related Blessings.

Blessings are a vital part of Tribes of Midgard’s genre-blending Surthrival gameplay, and we wanted to take the opportunity with Inferno Saga to re-evaluate how each of the Classes performs and how the community has been utilizing their Blessings to create unique play styles.

We’ve been monitoring the feedback, pick rate, and performance of each of the Classes since their debut at launch in July of 2021. One thing we noticed was that a lot of what drove the popular Class choices came down to very powerful utility-focused Blessings like the Seer’s Tempered and the Warden’s Dwarven Made. We felt that these Blessings could lead to playstyles contrary to what we intended and have made some adjustments. But rather than focusing purely on these, we spent time looking at how to empower the other Classes to try to achieve the same levels of success that Wardens and Seers were… seeing. By empowering every Class to do what they do best, we can ensure everyone has a strong, capable Class that speaks uniquely to their style of play.

Warrior:
The Warrior occupies a great mixture of offensive and defensive capabilities. With Inferno Saga, we wanted to lean further into each Class’s archetypal fantasy; with Warriors being adepts of Týr and the “best of the best” among a culture that reveres strong fighters, new Blessings like Underdog and Warrior-Gatherer felt like the perfect fit. We also updated Reckless Roll to increase its value now that every Class is getting limited invincibility during their Evade rolls.

  • Underdog [NEW]: Feeling surrounded? Great! Increase damage dealt per each nearby enemy.

  • Warrior-Gatherer [NEW]: Labor like the Warrior gods of old! Combo attacks from any Weapon can now break Resource nodes, retrieving their precious Materials without Tools. Everything’s an axe!

  • Reckless Roll [UPDATED]: Now avoid damage throughout the entire Evade roll animation.

Ranger:
The Ranger’s damage really shines once you have some Equipment and Runes on your side. However, we noticed it was much more difficult for Rangers, as primarily Bow users, to deal with hordes of enemies due to the Bow’s more limited AoE capabilities. Both new Blessings aim (ha!) to augment the Ranger’s ability to deal consistent multi-target damage.

  • Ullr’s Step II [NEW]: Ullr’s Step now triggers a rain of arrows on your original position, dealing [medium] physical damage over time.

  • Ricochet [NEW]: Each arrow fired has a 50% chance to ricochet, bouncing to up to 3 additional enemies.

  • Quickshot [UPDATED]: Was originally affecting Arrow flight speed and now affects the attack speed of Bow Combo Attacks.
Guardian:
The Guardian is our tankiest Class, as a result new Blessings, like Unwavering, lean into the stalwart stature of this immovable object. The Pain Release Blessing is the Guardian’s main (counter) offensive mechanic, so the inclusion of a second tier that adds movement and attack speed intends to empower Guardians to explode from behind their shields and deliver devastating reprisals for a short time after unleashing their Pain gauge.

  • Pain Release II [NEW]: Let it all out! Gain increased attack and movement speed for 5 seconds after unleashing your Pain.

  • Unwavering [NEW]: The judgment of Forseti is absolute. Stand your ground against any who would dare say otherwise by becoming immune to knockback effects.

Seer:
Our goal with the Seer was to empower support players, offering a Class with innate healing, improved revives, and crowd-control. The new Blessings for the Seer further reinforces this idea.

We found Seers equipping the Tempered Blessing turning into lone wolves that traveled out on their own into difficult climates, rather than sharing the support with the Tribe. To encourage the original intent of the Class, we have adjusted it to mitigate Temperature effects (rather than nullifying) and extended this out to nearby allies. You can still travel out into difficult climates easier than others, but now you can do it with friends!

  • Yggdrasil’s Roots II [NEW]: Enemies entering the Seedling’s radius receive damage from the roots of the World Tree. Wouldn’t want to be on its bad side.

  • Sacred Revive [NEW]: Further empowered by the golden apples of youth, reviving allies now triggers a healing pool in the area, granting HP over time.

  • Tempered [UPDATED]: Now generates an aura that reduces Temperature effects for you and nearby allies.

Berserker:
The Berserker’s playstyle is being an unrelenting wrecking machine.

As a result, we buffed Battle Resistance to make them unstoppable as they shrug off 100% of incoming Stun/Slow effects. Undying Anger allows them to spring back into action so long as they have some Wrath built up, and Wrath Soothed rounds out the Blast-based Blessing chain, returning HP to keep the Berserker sustained while fighting wave after wave of enemy hordes.

  • Undying Anger [NEW]: Channel the rage of war. Automatically self-revive when down and receive healing based on your current Wrath.

  • Wrath Soothed [NEW]: Gain HP for every enemy hit by your Blast.

  • Battle Resistance II [UPDATED]: Chance to resist Stun/Slow effects increased from 75% to 100%.

Hunter:
Skaði never travels anywhere without her trusty wolf, and now she’s passing that gift of companionship onto you! With the changes in the Season 3 update, we wanted to hone in on the ‘cunning rogue of the wild’ archetype for Hunter. They excel in combat through misdirection, traps, and other means of indirect damage. The changes emphasize this playstyle all the while keeping the Hunter out of harm’s way.

  • Skaði’s Spirit II [NEW]: Your Decoy is now armed with a Bow and will fire Arrows at nearby enemies.

  • Skaði’s Wolf [NEW]: Roll to deploy Skaði’s kindred spirit that will attack nearby enemies. Go get ’em boy!

  • Skaði’s Spirit I [UPDATED]: There is now a visual indicator to show the Decoy’s taunt radius.

Sentinel:
The Sentinel is a unique Class in that it relies heavily on its Shield-based abilities for its combat effectiveness. Shields are fun to throw around and with these changes, we have (literally) doubled down on that! These new Blessings should greatly improve the Sentinel’s Shields as their deadliest Weapon, especially when paired with higher rarities and the below updates to Shield Blocking for all Classes.

  • Shield Throw II [NEW]: Your Shield Throw ability now throws the second Shield in rapid succession.

  • Shield Ring II [NEW]: Shield spin to win. Your Shield Ring ability will now revolve around you a second time, dealing damage and effects twice.

Warden:
Warden was intended to be a unique type of support role, one focused on utility and logistics, which are crucial to success in Tribes of Midgard. The new Secret Stash and Rationing Blessings further lean into this skillset.

However, with the original Dwarven Made, we felt that being able to bypass the Durability mechanic entirely altered the playstyle that we intended for the Class a little too heavily. With this adjustment, the Wardens will still be able to endure more Durability loss than other Classes, but the added perk of being able to Repair for cheaper will benefit both the Warden as well as their Tribe, which we felt was more important in order to emphasize that ‘village manager’ play style.

  • Secret Stash [NEW]: Vigilance is key when safeguarding a Village’s supplies, and their trade secrets! Materials carried are no longer lost upon defeat.

  • Rationing [NEW]: An Einherjar knows how important rationing can be in dire times. Gain a chance to recover your Meal immediately after consuming it. Tasty!

  • Dwarven Made [UPDATED]: Now reduces Repair costs & Equipment Durability loss by 50%

Blessing Updates to Survival Mode

As mentioned in the Survival 2.0 Blog post, the Class system has been swapped in Survival Mode in favor of a brand new Blessing Tree. 90 Blessings will be unlockable as you increase your Character Level during gameplay. The Einherjar will be able to mix and match to their heart’s content for a unique experience that transcends a specific Class. These additional skills and changes will be included in the Blessing Tree for Survival Mode as well.

Combat Updates
The below changes to gameplay will be for both game modes in the update coming on August 16th.

Invincibility Frames when Evading
You get an i-frame! You get an i-frame! Everybody gets an i-frame!

Every Character now has an invincibility frame as part of their Evade action, allowing them to negate any incoming damage with a well-timed roll.

Animation Cancelling on Evading/Blocking
We’ve tweaked our combat behavior to allow for more responsive timing when choosing to Evade or Block at key moments, even when mid-animation performing a separate action. You’ll still have to make sure your Evade is off cooldown, however, so roll with caution.

Changes to Mana Gains:
Successfully blocking enemy attacks with a Shield will now reward additional Mana. The better the Shield, the more Mana gained! Guardians will synergize well with this change, as their Refused Judgement Blessing will allow them to gain even more Mana per Shield block.

In parallel, you now earn a set amount of Mana per attack, regardless of how many enemies were struck in that attack.

Changes to Durability Loss:
Similar to Mana Gains, your Weapon will now only lose a set amount of Durability per attack, regardless of how many enemies were struck. This will help to maintain your Weapon when taking on hordes.

Mana Loss from Powerful Foes:
Action RPG combat is a big part of what makes Tribes of Midgard’s genre-blend special, and with each passing update, we want to revisit our core combat mechanics to see where we can fine-tune to make it more in-depth, fun, and engaging. The improved Animation Cancelling and global i-frames on Evade rolls should go a long way in helping the combat feel more fluid and empower reflexes to get out of danger in a pinch. While the changes to Mana Gains and Losses should serve to help make each combat encounter feel more strategic in how you proceed. Managing Mana against a tough opponent will be more important now, and we hope this will make the fights all the more exciting.

After the update, being struck by Powerful Foes will leave you winded, causing you to lose a bit of Mana from your gauge. Powerful Foes include Jötnar, Elites (red skull indicator), Ancients, and the roaming mini-bosses of Midgard (yellow health bar, like Fossegrim and Linnorms). Make sure to watch those moves to avoid being hit!

Changes to Bows:
Our original intention with Aimed / Charged Shots was to provide the player with a means of holding their position when firing, as Combo Attacks move with each shot. We did not intend for Aimed / Charged Shots to outclass Combo Attacks in every regard and wanted the player to be able to pick and choose which type of Bow attack to use depending on the situation.

The changes in the August 16 update make the Bow easier to use, more durable, and more powerful at all stages of the game while retaining both stances as useful. This will provide more agency for our pew-pew’ers out there!

All this and many more, arrive in our biggest update yet, Season 3: Inferno Saga, on August 16. Make sure to read patch notes, releasing the day of the release, and the blogs on the new content to get all of the information on TribesofMidgard.com!

Tribes of Midgard - Gearbox_CM Noelle
Tribes of Midgard Season 3: Inferno Saga will be arriving with a GIANT amount of content on August 16! Today, we’re going over some of the HOTTEST new features!

These changes, as well as all content from previous Seasons, will also be included for free in the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions when Tribes of Midgard releases on those platforms.

The Ruler of Múspelheim: Surtr
What’s hotter than a whole new Volcano-themed Biome? THIS GUY!

The big, big, fire boi

Surtr, the Inferno Ancient, has erupted in the Realm of Midgard and is launching an all-out invasion from his Lair at the peak of the Volcanic Spire. You will step through a fiery entrance and into an entirely new Arena – as expected, surrounded by thrashing molten lava.

Approach the Horn of Múspel with caution, and do your very best to avoid Surtr’s vicious Blade of Fire.

The Volcanic Spire
A whole new Biome has been added to the world of Midgard, and it’s HOT!

We dare you to go for a swim in the molten rivers. We know you’ll do it anyway.

Every new World will be able to access the Volcanic Spire. This molten landmass serves as the central battlefield in the Einherjar’s fight to repel the Inferno invasion and take down your biggest enemy to date. This area is only able to be entered by progressing through the new Saga Quest: Inferno, which aims to prepare you for the extreme heat (and threats) when ascending the Spire.

Complete with new musical scores and a unique ambiance, this dangerous new area hosts several unique creatures, crafting Materials, enemy Camps, and hazards (looking at you, Lava Rivers) to traverse.

Saga Quest: Inferno
A new Saga means a new Ancient, and a new Ancient means a new Saga Quest.

A new Inferno Saga Quest will guide Einherjar on their journey to access the remote and dangerous Volcanic Spire. As part of Surtr’s invasion strategy, a number of Volcanic Outposts have been seen emerging across every Biome in Midgard. These emergent encampments contain a host of Surtr’s forces that can be quick to overwhelm you if you stumble into one unprepared.

However, if you manage to clear one out, their treasure chests are known to contain items of great importance to Surtr’s war effort. Bringing these Materials to the Gateway is a surefire way to take a trip to his Lair.

Once the Gateway has been activated, players must launch a counter-offensive to fight their way up the molten peaks and kick down Surtr’s front door before he has the chance to burn the world with his volcanic fire.

Wield the New Spear Weapon
Stabby, stabby… but from afar!

Einherjar have remembered an effective Weapon from their past lives, the Spear! Filling a gap in melee-style combat, the Spear offers considerable linear reach compared to other Weapons. They will be able to keep more than an arm’s length away while taking down enemies trying to get the best of them!

The starter Villager Spear is unique in its construction in that only Wood is required when crafting it. This makes it a great starter Weapon for those with nothing to hide fending off ravenous wolves like a true Survivalist!

Game Over Screens
Game Over screens have been overhauled to showcase more elements and statistics highlighting your accomplishments during each session! The new flow contains three screens that you can review or skip:

  • Global Results: A snapshot of the explored Map from the session will be displayed, along with a few highlighted stats, such as Time Elapsed and Enemies Slain.

  • Team Results: A grid that showcases all players in the session, highlighting their Character Levels and a top stat from which they took home the highest score.

  • Personal Results: A final showcase of all individual statistics accrued during the session, as well as where your Season XP is tallied. We’ve added many more stats to be showcased, including Souls Taken, Runes Found, and Damage Dealt. Like previous stats, these are all compared to your lifetime totals, for those who want to break their own records.

Fishing

Fishing Rods can now be crafted like any other Tool and comes in the same rarity tiers.

To Fish, search through Rivers and Open Seas for Mysterious Ripples. Einherjar will cast their Fishing Rod upon interacting with the ripples to start a time-sensitive mini-game. Interact again once the ripples have started splashing. If timed right, you’ll get several new fishable Materials to be used in new Recipes, including brand-new Meals (more on this coming in the Patch Notes)!

Look to the Patch Notes releasing August 16 for a list of the Fishable loot and recipes they can be used in!

We are beyond excited for all of the new content releasing on August 16 with Season 3: Inferno Saga. Be sure to follow Tribes of Midgard on social media for first looks at the new content!

Tribes of Midgard - Gearbox_CM Noelle

Tribes of Midgard Season 3: Inferno Saga launches on August 16 with a completely revamped Survival Mode!

Our goal is to create the ultimate Viking sandbox that blends our combined love for ARPGs, Survival games, and Norse mythology. Fans of both the quicker, Rogue-lite-inspired Surthrival gameplay of Saga Mode, as well as the slower, more exploratory pace of Survival Mode will feel equally served in updates moving forward.

Survival Mode has been fully rebuilt from the ground up to transform it into a more relaxed but equally exciting Tribes of Midgard experience. Some of the more time-pressure elements of Saga Mode have been stripped away. Say goodbye to the Endless Winter and Nightly Defenses, and say hiló to a variety of Helthings and monsters to hack and slash through in the wild!

The Survival 2.0 update now begins in a time before the Seed of Yggdrasil had a fully fleshed-out Village to call home. The Einherjar start off in the Sanctuary in a World without any Village, Walls, Constructions, or friendly Villagers to craft for you. Veteran Einherjar, Eira Foot-Crushed, is around to provide initial guidance (and protection!) on what you need to do - with help from some furry little friends along the way– see Catorials below!

We also had the absolute pleasure of being able to create an animated trailer to celebrate the new Survival Mode updates - check out our collaboration with Titmouse here!

So what does an Einherjar without a Village do? They start building! The Construction system was massively overhauled to allow players to create the exact homes they want. Not only in terms of features, with new capabilities like camera rotation and new Build Menu, but also in terms of content, with new Stairs, Doors, Pillars, Decorations, etc. as well as a wide variety of Crafting Stations for all the Builder Vikings out there.

This update to Survival Mode, as well as all content from previous Seasons, will also be included for free in the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions when Tribes of Midgard releases on those platforms on August 16.

It will also feature a number of changes to core gameplay, including:

Choose Your Own Adventure
Survival 2.0 is designed so you can play Tribes of Midgard at your own pace. There are many new features to accommodate this change in Survival Mode…but the biggest? There will no longer be a Village to defend every night! What else?
  • Days will last longer at 20 minutes each to give ample time before the night. Note that seasons will keep on alternating between summer and winter.
  • Helthings will spawn sporadically throughout the environment at night but will not attack the Seed of Yggdrasil. They are still tough to take down but offer dark Materials and XP when defeated. Make sure you’re prepared if taking a night-time stroll!
  • Each of the Jötnar have set spawn points located within enclosed Arenas that have to be entered in order to defeat them in open combat. This can be done at any time, and can be repeated with a greater challenge, provided you’re up for the task.

Crafting System

The crafting system in Survival has been entirely reinvented.
With no Village or Villager vendors, you’ll need to rely on yourself and the trusty Allforge—a magical little Dwarven invention accessed from the Build Menu and placed anywhere, free of any Material costs—to progress and survive. The Allforge lets you repair Equipment for a standard Souls cost, and more importantly, instantly build as many Constructions, Crafting Stations, and Decorations as you can, anywhere on the map. Each player can only have one Allforge out at once, so simply craft it again to redeploy to a new position.

Once a Crafting Station has been built from the Allforge, it will show up in your Build Menu inventory. Use the Build Menu again to place the Crafting Station wherever you’d like and get crafting.
  • Need Tools to start chopping wood and mining iron? Use the Allforge to build a Tool Grinder and craft some Tools!
  • Are wolves getting a little too close for comfort? Use the Allforge to build a Weapon Furnace and fight them off!
  • Hurt yourself trying to sneak into a Dökkálfar Camp? Use the Allforge to craft a Meal Cauldron and get cooking with all new recipes to heal and buff your character!
Crafting Stations can be upgraded to unlock more powerful recipes and even entirely new Stations. They can be placed anywhere, including on the higher floors/stories built in your base. Once you get going, it’s only a matter of time before you have a Village of your own.

Saga Quests
Saga Quests act as overarching objectives for players to progress towards. The first several Saga Quests will have you hunting down the Jötnar in their Arenas. Upon their defeat, they will reward players' Materials to further progress in the World by unlocking powerful Crafting Stations, such as the Boat Dock, that will allow you to sail to new lands, loot better Materials, and take on greater challenges (even the Ancients themselves).
Ancients (formerly known as Saga Bosses) are the almighty bosses that are introduced in each new Saga. There are powerful rewards for taking down the Ancients:

  • Sindri’s Foundry: Defeating Fenrir rewards players with a unique Construction that consumes unwanted Equipment and Runes for Souls. Invincible to damage and can be re-deployed at will like the Allforge.
  • Freyr’s Ship: Defeating Jörmungandr rewards players with the fabled Skíðblaðnir, a unique Drakkar ship. Invincible to damage, can be re-deployed at will, and is the fastest ship in the game.
  • Heimdallr’s Tower: Defeating the Inferno Ancient (name unknown… for now!) rewards players with a mighty Watchtower and garrisoned Archer. Just like a standard Watchtower, the Archer can be equipped with more powerful arrows. Unlike standard Watchtowers, however, this Archer is stronger by default, the tower is invincible to damage, and can be re-deployed at will.

Blessing Tree and Level Progression

With the Survival Update, Einherjar will choose their skills through an entirely new Blessing Tree. The Blessing Tree is unique to this game mode and allows for more freedom to pick and choose from the 90 Blessings available. With this change, the max Character Level is increased to 50 to give more skill combinations during the increased playtime per World.

Shared Character XP for upgrading Stations or activating Portals has been changed in favor of personal Character XP gains for exploring and continual building. Players will work together to build a community and adventure through the land of Midgard.

While playing Survival, your Viking will come across Season XP loot. Season XP has a chance to drop from any activity that will also net you Character XP, such as defeating enemies and harvesting resources. Some methods guarantee large amounts of Season XP to drop, like defeating powerful enemies or raiding Camps.

Season XP is automatically attributed to your Account Profile in real time and contributes to your Season progression, no need to turn it in or Abandon your World.

The World
The Worlds generated in Survival 2.0 are larger than anything seen previously and have been custom-tailored to the game mode. Players start on a large, central continent and will be able to explore the Open Seas as they progress through the early steps of their adventure.
Due to the increased player agency over exploration and means of travel, managing where your base is located will be key. There are a number of options to safely expand your dominion via crafting at the Allforge:
  • Beds: Beds can be claimed to serve as Respawn points, which will come handy when facing your demise (being an Einherjar does not make you invincible!)

  • Bonfires: Bonfires will help keep you warm in cold climates so long as you deposit Branches to keep the fires alive. Very useful when landing on a cool Ash Beach in the dead of night.

  • Shrines: Shrines act as Fast Travel points, allowing you and your Tribe to build your own travel network throughout Midgard!

Construction 2.0

We’ve reworked the Construction inventory to be more modular and significantly more flexible. Everything is scaled to fit a 1x1x1 area for increased interconnectivity. In addition to Grounds, Fences, and Ramps, new Construction pieces are available including Walls, Pillars, Roofs, and Doors, among many others. Each Construction comes in three tiers with different levels of strength and material requirements, ranging from twig/thatch and wood to slate/stone.

The camera is able to be rotated while in the Build mode, allowing the careful placement of Constructions while crafting your perfect mead hall! Pieces are able to be placed along the Z-axis for up to four levels, allowing for some cozy building while the threats are kept at bay.

Upset with where you’ve placed a particular Construction? Deconstruct freely with more accuracy with the Mallet. The Mallet is now triggered by default when in Build mode and simply highlighting a Construction will allow you to dismantle it. Deconstructing your Stations will return the Materials used to build them if you ever feel you want to entirely pack up and build out somewhere new. Further, this Mallet mode also gives the option to repair said Constructions. What a magical Mallet.

Tutorial Cats (Catorials?)

Freyja’s chatty cats from the Tutorial, Sóleyra and Mániklo, make a triumphant return in the update on August 16!

To help guide you through a number of introductory systems in Survival 2.0, one of Freyja’s cats, changing depending on the context, will spawn when you interact with certain triggers in the environment, providing further context and even some tips as you get started on your adventure. They may be cheerful and snarky, but they're talking cats!

That’s all for now, Vikings - we appreciate your continued support and are looking forward to bringing this update to all of you in just one week from now! :D

Still something we can’t believe we’re finally saying - on August 16th, Vikings on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch join the fight against Ragnarök! At launch, they will have access to the new Saga and revamped Survival Mode and will be receiving all future updates for free alongside the other platforms. We look forward to sharing launch timing for specific regions as we get closer to the launch date!

Also launching on August 16 will be updates to BOTH Saga Mode and Survival Mode!

Inferno Saga

It’s getting HOT in Midgard. 🔥 Our new Season features a brand-new Saga Quest: Inferno. The Saga Boss awaits you in the heart of the Volcanic Spire, a location you maaay recognize from an early teaser!

The new Saga Boss’ followers have set up Outposts across the land, hoarding the Múspelite materials, which can be used to open the Gateway to the Spire. Once there, you’ll have to endure rising temperatures, lava rivers*, and fiery foes as you seek out this new threat.

*we don’t recommend adventuring Vikings swim in the lava rivers

Survival 2.0

Survival Mode is being completely rebuilt for those looking for a more relaxed Viking Survival experience - an alternative to the urgency you’d normally experience with the coming of Ragnarök in Saga Mode.

It focuses on life long before the Village and the Seed of Yggdrasil came to be. You won’t be alone - our Viking warrior Eira Foot-Crushed will be your guide, along with our fave feline friends Mániklo and Sóleyra. As a reminder - Jötnar will not attack the Village in this Mode - instead, you head out into the world to fight them (and the Saga Bosses) on your own terms!

Some of its new features include:
  • No more Giant or Helthing attacks: While Jötnar and Helthings will no longer march towards your Village, they’ll be found throughout Midgard (along with Saga Bosses) and can be defeated for rewards.
  • No central Village: Free from the constant threat of incoming Jötnar attacks, Einherjar can write legendary Viking tales of their own, building their perfect Viking homes with a variety of new Constructions and Decorations.
  • Crafting 2.0: Without a Village or Vendors, Einherjar in Survival 2.0 need to be self-sufficient to craft items. Utilize the magical Dwarven invention of the Allforge, accessible from the Build menu and free to place anywhere, no materials required. While the Allforge is valuable for repairing Equipment, its true purpose is to instantly build Crafting Stations, which allow you to craft and forge a variety of items depending on the Station type.
  • Choose your own destiny: You’ll be able to fully customize your play style with a brand new Blessing Tree layout, containing close to 100 Blessings otherwise contained to a specific Class. The Level cap will be increased from 10 to 50.
  • Much more we’ll get into very soon. 🙂
During this simpler time, new advancements in crafting require a new way to fight and gather materials. The addition of Spears will be a great asset to those starting out their journeys in Midgard.

Fishing Rods will also be incredibly helpful in finding out what type of fish are living in the ~Mysterious Ripples~ popping up in Rivers and Oceans. Both will be valuable tools as you survive AND thrive (surthive, as we say) in Midgard!

Of course, we’ll continue to be posting more peeks here and there, and updates with more information on what to expect in Season 3 before it releases on August 16! We’re so looking forward to welcoming new Vikings to our ever-growing family. 💙

Questions? We'll be hanging out in the comments and on our social media, so don’t hesitate to let us know. Psst. We almost forgot. Here’s a first look at what you can expect…
