EVE Online - EVE Online
Eager Capsuleers,

The newest narrative-driven expansion, Uprising, introduced new ships to command, the ability to proudly fly your colors with corporation and alliance emblems, a clear path to the warzone, immersive new Upwell hangars, and a series of Factional Warfare changes that usher in the future of war in New Eden. Just a week later, the Uprising continues with the latest update live today, which brings even more fresh content and refinements to EVE.

As of today, you and your fellow pilots now have access to the thrilling world of Factional Warfare battlefields, offering even more Uprising content to sink your teeth into. These new battlefields give pilots yet another way to embrace a distinct blend of action-packed combat.

HOW IT WORKS

The Factional Warfare battlefields let two teams battle it out over specified areas and will spawn across the cluster, with new openings appearing in The Agency and via the Factional Warfare interface. Use an Acceleration Gate to journey to the selected area, and you can join your wingmen to fight to control areas, defend bases, and battle for score through a ‘tug-of-war’ point-stealing mechanic.

Battlefields in Factional Warfare promise to bring EVE Online some of its most dynamic, energetic combat yet to be seen. And when one battlefield closes another spawns elsewhere, meaning there will always be more action to chase down.

EVEN MORE IN UPRISING

Aside from that, there are a series of other updates and refinements as part of the Uprising expansion you can read more about in today’s Patch Notes. You can be sure there’s more to come, as New Eden’s future is an exciting place with plenty in store.

For those who want a peek behind the curtain into all the love that went into Uprising, check out these development interviews:

PRIZE FORMAT

Prize Ships

Last year, we introduced a revised distribution pattern for Alliance Tournament ships, broadening the recipients of the prizes from the top 4 teams to the top 16 – with each team’s allocation based on where they exited the bracket after their second loss. This has resulted in far broader usage of prize ships across New Eden in the year since, and a result of this revision’s success, we’ve elected to use the same distribution pattern for ATXVIII’s prizes:

  • 1st (winner of finals): 40x Geri, 40x Bestla
  • 2nd (loser of winner’s bracket): 20x Geri, 20x Bestla
  • 3rd (loser of match 61): 16x Geri, 16x Bestla
  • 4th (loser of match 60): 12x Geri, 12x Bestla
  • Top 6 (2 teams, K.O. in losers round 6): 8x Geri, 8x Bestla
  • Top 8 (2 teams, K.O. in losers round 5): 6x Geri, 6x Bestla
  • Top 12 (4 teams, K.O. in losers round 4): 4x Geri, 4x Bestla
  • Top 16 (4 teams, K.O. in losers round 3): 2x Geri, 2x Bestla
  • Total of 140 of each ship rewarded

Teams will only receive the highest bracket of prizes they have earned. For example, a team which leaves the bracket in losers round 6 will get the top 8 prize (6x Geri, 6x Bestla), but will not also receive the top 12 and top 16 prizes.

Prize SKINs

Of course, ships aren’t the only prize of the Alliance Tournament. Back in 2015, when SKINs were first introduced, there had already been 13 Tournaments hosted – so to go along with our plans to update legacy ships & themes from ATVII onwards for future Tournaments starting this year, you can look forward to the introduction of special Tournament SKINs each year going forward!

For the ATs of recent years, sponsored by New Eden’s pirate factions, releasing Tournament SKINs for each faction has been simple – as pirate factions have only a few ships each. This year, however, the significantly larger number of ships in the Minmatar Republic’s lineup would be impossible to fully accommodate, necessitating a more exclusive selection. Mirroring the Seven Tribes of Matar, we’ve settled on 7 lucky ships to paint in the colors of victory this year:

- Tempest Fleet Issue
- Typhoon Fleet Issue
- Hurricane Fleet Issue
- Stabber Fleet Issue
- Vigil Fleet Issue
- Wolf
- Scimitar (Needed to give our Logi bros some love!)

10 SKINs will be awarded for each match win a team claims in the Tournament.

Schedule and How to Tune In:

The tournament will take place over the next two weekends with all the matches broadcast live on Twitch. The first match between ‘Truth Honor Light’ vs ‘Ah Hail Nah’ starts at 15:00 UTC on Saturday 12th November.

he full schedule of the matches can be found at Alliance Tournament XVIII Schedule, and will be updated as the tournament progresses.

Join the stream to watch CCP developers and a panel of player commentators for in-depth insights into team tactics (assuming they exist), expert PvP advice for participants as well as a chance to win ship SKINs.

Flagships Go Boom:

Since the last update the teams have declared their flagships. Flagships are Battleship class ships that can ignore some of the fitting restrictions imposed on other tournament ships. Each team may choose to field one flagship but since the matches are happening on Tranquility server if they are destroyed they are lost for good!

You can find a list of the teams and the flagships they have declared on the official EVE Online forums.

Twitch Match Predictions

The main event will also leverage Twitch’s predictions functionality to let viewers vote on who they predict will crush their opponents in each match, and hundreds of prizes including GalNet StreamCast Unit SKINs, Integral Reality Labs EVE Ship models, EVE watches, and vouchers for EVE Store Merchandise will be up for grabs each day of the tournament.

Predictions will be activated at different intervals throughout the day – so tune in on Twitch to join in the excitement, and stick around for the entire tournament stream to maximize your chances of claiming a prize!

Jump to the Tournament Discussion section of the forums or join the official EVE Online Discord if you want to join the dicussion.

Prepare for an action-packed tournament, capsuleers – we’ll see you in the arena!

Ambitious capsuleers,

Multiple Character Training (MCT) is now available at 50% off its full price over in the EVE store. The discounted price runs from 11-15 November, celebrating Singles Day.

Whatever your goals in New Eden are, this limited-time offer will get you to them faster!

MCT has also made its debut in the New Eden Store (NES)! You can finally trade PLEX for MCT, so if you have PLEX to spend, MCT offers a powerful return on investment for NES customers. Just like the one in the EVE Store, MCT cannot be traded, and may only be used by active Omega accounts.

Head to the EVE Store by 15 November to take advantage of the unmissable MCT saving.

EVE Online - EVE Online
Loyal capsuleers,

EVE Online’s exciting new narrative-driven expansion is here and live now, so it’s time for you to choose your fight and join the Uprising! The introduction of brand-new navy dreadnoughts and destroyers brings even more variety to the battlefield as well as intimidating new visuals. In addition, the future of war arrives as Factional Warfare has received a significant update with the launch of the Frontlines and Advantage systems, focusing capsuleer efforts on emerging conflict hot spots. On top of all that, you can now fly your colors proudly in the warzone – and anywhere in New Eden - with corporation and alliance emblems on ships, which you can also enjoy in the incredible enhanced audio and visual environment of new Upwell hangars!

As the tensions have steadily but significantly escalated between the empires of New Eden in recent months, conflicts will continue to ignite across the cluster in the wake of the stellar transmuter accident and the invasion of Intaki. The Uprising has begun.

DROP THE DREADS AND DESTROY

One of the most thrilling aspects of the new Uprising expansion is the chance to get your hands on new navy dreadnoughts, one for each of the main empires. These ships bring increased variety, options, and visual drama to New Eden’s battlefields. The Naglfar Fleet Issue has massive firepower, and its versatility is increased with dual armor and shield repair bonuses. The Moros Navy Issue offers terrifying damage and improved armor repair strength plus increased range. Additionally, the Phoenix Navy Issue wields precision guided missiles with increased damage and target painter bonus, plus reduced reload time, while the Revelation Navy Issue – now with increased bonuses to damage and energy transfer - can be accurately described as purifying fire wrapped in heavy armor!

It's not just dreads, though, as each of the empires receives a brand-new navy destroyer with a beefed-up look and improved abilities too! The Catalyst Navy Issue boasts powerful turrets with increased damage and better armor agility thanks to a reduction in plate mass penalty and a bonus to armor repair. The Coercer Navy Issue features heavy armor and strong control capabilities thanks to a reduction in energy neutralizer cap need, plus some new turret bonuses. The Cormorant Navy Issue is a fierce sniper with strong shield repair thanks to a shield booster bonus, while the Thrasher Fleet Issue is a fast ship with even faster guns, due to an increase in turret rate of fire!

On a related note, the Loyalty Point cost for the navy ship blueprint offers in faction militia stores has been reduced, making these fearsome vessels more accessible! Furthermore, Neurolink Conduit components have been removed from all subcapital navy ship blueprints.

Uprising also ushers in thematically appropriate balance changes to current navy ships, as well as heavy assault cruisers and more, so check those out in detail on the EVE Online forums.

STEAL THE ADVANTAGE ON THE FRONTLINES

The new Frontlines feature in Factional Warfare (FW) is now also live, drawing pilots closer to the borders of their opponents and presenting new rewarding challenges that focus capsuleer efforts towards key, emerging conflicts where empire history will be written! Systems in a FW warzone can have different operational states which are designated as follows:
  • Frontline - adjacent to an enemy-controlled star system, the absolute heart of the battle, and the highest level of reward!
  • Command Operations - adjacent to a Frontline system, vital for strategic supremacy with standard LP rewards.
  • Rearguard - when none of the above apply, a relative safe zone in the maelstrom.

The operational state of the FW system will determine its properties, such as specific system effects, spawning of sites, Loyalty Point (LP) rewards, and victory point gains. For example, any LP earned through activities in a Frontline system is subject to a 50% increase in rewards! Command Operations systems will contain standard LP rewards and specific Command Operations sites which are potentially less dangerous than Frontline systems.

The new Advantage system allows you to give your chosen faction an edge in FW. This edge can be achieved by obtaining a terrain advantage through ownership of adjacent Frontline and Command Operations star systems, through the completion of activities and sites in the FW warzone, and by deploying anchorable, player-built Propaganda Structures and Listening Outposts. There are also Supply Cache/Depots and Rendezvous Point sites that will affect faction advantage, plus Operation Center exploration sites that will provide the players with valuable codes to build Propaganda Billboards and Listening Outposts. The more involved and victorious your faction is in the warzone, the greater the effect will be on your side’s victory points!

Another update to Factional Warfare involves the addition of more restrictions to complexes, as well as changes to site naming in order to better communicate the associated challenge and restrictions of the sites. Find out more about these changes in the Uprising patch notes.

YOUR WAR, YOUR SHIPS, YOUR COLORS

You can now represent your player corporation and alliance with even more pride thanks to the addition of emblems on ships, all as part of Uprising! This is where the Heraldry journey in EVE begins, with this first step of customization available for over 100 ships already. All players that are in an NPC corporation will have access to their NPC corporation iconography when using their corporation emblems.

A new in-game corporation called Paragon has eleven stations spread across Highsec and Lowsec, complete with new Paragon agents. These stations are distributed well enough to allow even the most remote capsuleers to enjoy reasonable proximity to a Paragon location. There are Paragon agent missions that award capsuleers with EverMarks which can then be used to purchase emblems at Loyalty Point stores in those Paragon stations. Once purchased, emblems can be toggled on or off using the new Personalization tab in the fitting window.

When an individual capsuleer in a player corp earns EverMarks, the corporation earns them too. During the promotion period, the ratio of player and corp EverMarks earned will be 1 to 1. Keep this in mind and start hitting those Paragon missions, because in 2023, player corps will be able to spend the EverMarks they have accumulated through individual member activity.

HOME IS WHERE THE HANGAR IS

If you’re proud of your ship collection or just want to see your fantastic new corporation or alliance emblems in all their glory, the massive enhancements to Upwell hangars ramp up the audio and visual immersion while docking and undocking in New Eden. You will be able to see other ships you have docked at your current Upwell structure in the enormous new hangar environment. The special attention put into this upgrade helps ensure that when you undock from your new hangar, you'll still get out into space at a speed that is on par with other structures in the game.

Speaking of audio and visual updates, Uprising also includes EVE Evolved improvements that bring more refined turret sound quality and brand-new soundtracks for Factional Warfare sites. In addition, AMD FidelityFXTM Super Resolution 1.0 boosts your EVE framerate, while object instancing allows for more detail in a single scene with minimal performance impact, with the new Upwell hangars being one of the first examples to take advantage of this technology! The hangars also benefit from increased visual impact due to improved shading and rendering, as do all EVE assets.

MINOR BUT MAJOR – NEW QoL CHANGES

Uprising also introduces a stack of Quality-of-Life improvements, every single one of them inspired directly by EVE community feedback. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Alliances are getting their own version of the Corporation Fittings. Alliances can now have their fleet doctrines accessible to everyone in the alliance for ease of access when they are stocking their hangars for conflict. In addition to this, the number of personal ship fittings has doubled from 250 to 500 and corporation/alliance fittings have gone from 300 to 600.
  • The maximum number of fleet mates which can be added to the watch list window has been significantly increased, so now your logistics wing can keep a much-expanded watchful eye over its fleet members.
  • If you are in a ship when initiating a clone jump, you will now automatically disembark, wait out the timer and then clone jump, saving you some clicks before jumping into a different clone at another location. There are also more jump clones available with the addition of the Elite Infomorph Psychology skill book!
  • There have been changes to rules surrounding Abyssal Deadspace filaments and their activation. Higher level filaments will now require pilots to be in systems with a security status of 0.5 to 0.7, lest they incur a suspect timer.
  • Alpha pilot characters can no longer change their safety setting to red.
  • A series of changes to make Highsec ganking more costly, which will affect decision making when looking for targets. These include adjustments to the docking and tethering rights of characters with low security status.
    • Note: tethering changes will be coming within the next week

If a capsuleer you have recruited did not create an account through a recruitment link, you can now recruit such accounts retroactively. Both you and your recruit can claim rewards defined by the Recruitment Program rules, too! Recruits will receive 1,000,000 SP immediately after being recruited and the recruiter will receive free Omega and accelerators when their recruit converts to Omega and purchases PLEX.

There are many more changes such as these in Uprising, and details of them all can be found in the Uprising patch notes.

WAR PAINT – DAILY LOGIN REWARDS
If you’re going to rise up in your brand-new navy ships, you’re going to want to look the part and be ready to maximize their impact. From 11-17 November, log in daily for thousands of Skill Points to help you train up the necessary skills, then coat your navy frigates in Versus Blueforce and Redforce SKINs. In addition to those Alpha rewards, Omega pilots will also get Versus SKINs for the all-new navy battlecruisers and an extra 275,000 Skill Points!

INSTRUMENTS OF DESTRUCTION – EVE STORE & NES
To celebrate the release of Uprising and to equip you for imminent battle, four new empire-themed packs are now available in the EVE Store. These Uprising Packs – named the Imperial Crusade Pack, State Protectorate Pack, Defense Union Pack, and Liberation Front Pack - each contain 30 days of Omega, new apparel, Expert System, cerebral accelerator, and a set of SKINs that include a brand-new nanocoating for an empire-specific navy exploration frigate.

You can also purchase the Uprising Packs in EVE Online’s New Eden Store (NES) for PLEX, so that’s even more ways for you to make best use of these great value packs and equip yourself for the Uprising. With the exception of the new character apparel featured in these packs, all other apparel in the NES will be 50% off until 22 November, so don’t miss your chance to combine the fresh Uprising apparel with more shiny threads!

On the subject of unmissable offers, until 22 November you can get 7 days of Omega free by visiting the New Eden Store! Use your Omega to gain unlimited access to ships and activities in EVE, faster skill training, and claim improved daily Uprising login rewards.

RISE UP
With new ships at your command, the ability to proudly emblazon them with your emblems, and a clear path to the warzone, the moment to undock from your epic new hangar and rise up for your empire has arrived!
EVE Online - EVE Online
Security Conscious Capsuleers,

As part of the Uprising expansion, we are making some important changes that will largely affect players in Highsec. The goal of these designs are to address the following issues:
  • Griefing of new players and low value targets
  • Risk vs Reward dynamic of Abyssal Deadspace filaments
  • Shortage of legitimate player targets in high security space
To achieve these goals, we’ll be introducing the following new restrictions and limitations:
  • Limit tethering for players with low security status in Highsec
  • Docking restrictions for outlaws in high security space
  • Changing the security settings for Alpha accounts and removing the option to disable safety (“Safety red”)
  • Updated rulesets for Abyssal Deadspace filament activation

Griefing versus Ganking

It’s important to distinguish between Highsec ganking and griefing. Highsec ganking is a valid and necessary playstyle, where players will ‘suicide gank’ high value targets and offset the loss of their ships from the loot and salvage gained from their target.

Griefing, on the other hand, is where players ‘suicide gank’ low value targets (often new players) using relatively cheap ships allowing them to absorb the losses with very few consequences. For new players, ganking is very punishing as they lose their primary tool for making money and often lack the funds to immediately replace their losses.

Under the current mechanics, when players participate in such activities, their security status is reduced. Once a player’s security status falls below certain thresholds, they will be hunted by the Empire faction police when entering a high security system. Any cloaking device fitted to their ship will also be disabled based on the same criteria, so they cannot cloak up to avoid the faction police.

If a player’s security status falls below -5.0, the player becomes an outlaw, allowing anyone to attack them without CONCORD interference.

Limit tethering for players with low security status in Highsec

However, some players have found a way to bypass this by placing structures next to gates and then tethering to them. Empire faction police will not attack players when tethered, regardless of security status meaning other players have no meaningful way to disrupt those tethered. Additionally, regardless of security status, players can dock anywhere to re-ship or hide from would be attackers.

To ensure that security status is significant and players face proper repercussions for a negative security status, we are making the following changes to docking and tethering for pilots with a low security status. These match the current rules for faction police standings:

Security status of -2.0 or below means they cannot tether in 1.0 systems. Security status of -2.5 or below means they cannot tether in 0.9 systems. Security status of -3.0 or below means they cannot tether in 0.8 systems. Security status of -3.5 or below means they cannot tether in 0.7 systems. Security status of -4.0 or below means they cannot tether in 0.6 systems. Security status of -4.5 or below means they cannot tether in 0.5 systems.

As players with negative security status can no longer tether, they will be vulnerable to both faction police and, potentially, other players.

Docking restrictions or outlaws in high security space

In addition to being attacked by Empire faction police (and unable to cloak or tether) players with security status -5.0 and below (outlaws) will no longer be allowed to dock in any structure or station in high security space while piloting a ship.

Outlaw pilots in capsules, however, will be able to dock and will not be attacked by Empire faction police. It’s worth noting though, that they can still be attacked by other players. Outlaws will be able to undock in a ship, but once undocked they will be refused docking permission.

Additional limitations for Alpha pilots in Highsec

By introducing these changes, the consequences for ganking have become more severe. To avoid players attempting to work around these new rules using Alpha clones, we are preemptively removing the ability for Alpha clones to disable safety while in high security space. They will still be able to enable partial safety in Highsec, and disable safety completely in any other areas of space.

Updated rules for Abyssal Deadspace

Currently, the majority of Abyssal filaments are activated in high security space. The balance between risk and reward is misaligned as this offers very low risk from other players while being highly profitable for the higher tiers. Jita is the most popular area in high security space for running Abyssal encounters. This is due, in part, to a restriction of anchoring deployable structures in Jita. This means that players cannot use these deployables to prevent abyssal runners from immediately activating an Abyssal filament - a previous method of avoiding player aggression.

Not only does that mean that there is no real counterplay for players who want to aggress Abyssal runners, it also means that Abyssal runners are able to easily dock at trade hubs to sell their Abyssal loot with little risk of interference from other players.

Restrictions on Abyssals in 1.0 or 0.9 security space

We’re removing the ability for Abyssal filaments to be activated in 1.0 and 0.9 space. This means that it will no longer be possible to run any Abyssals in Jita or any of the other trade hubs (besides Hek, of course). To be clear, this only applies to Abyssal filaments – Signal/Noise filaments, Pochven filaments, and Proving Grounds filaments will remain unchanged.

This immediately removes several safety elements for Abyssal runners. First, they can now be disrupted on leaving an Abyssal encounter and prevented from immediate escaping by entering a new Abyssal encounter. Second, this will increase the amount of travel for Abyssal runners overall, offering more opportunities for other players to attack them, as they will be high value targets.

Added suspect flag for high tier Abyssals based on Security

Another way that we want to add risk and encourage more activity in other areas of space is to limit which Abyssal tiers can be run without triggering a suspect flag by system security.

Security

This allows for new or less skilled players to be able to run Tier 0 to Tier 3 Abyssal sites in the relative safety of 0.8 space. The lack of a suspect flag plus the consequences of a low security status - means that they are less likely to be targeted by other players, as they won’t be considered a high value target. Tier 4 to Tier 6 can be run in 0.8 systems, however doing so will result in a suspect on exit.

This means that players can still run the higher tier Abyssals but will have to choose between exiting an encounter with a suspect flag, or risk moving to a lower security system.

We believe that these changes to security status and Abyssal encounters will result in a better game for all, creating more legitimate PvP targets in high security space, while reducing low value ganking and increasing risk to Abyssal runners.

Brave Capsuleers,

With Halloween Horrors haunting New Eden, the year’s spookiest Abyssal Proving Grounds (APG) event returns. The Crimson Harvest APG takes the form of a frigate free-for-all, and is set to deliver some terrifying action. This unique Proving Ground 28-31 October.

For this year´s Crimson Harvest APG, all ships that dare to enter will receive a bonus that increases Stasis Webifier Range by 40%, increased Energy Nosferatu and Neutralizer drain by 30%, improved Turret damage by 20%, and added an additional +500 base armor and hull hitpoints, while causing Energy Nosferatu modules to drain capacitor regardless of your own capacitor level.

Capsuleers will also find high numbers of exploding Bonus Nexus objects littering the Proving Grounds. These powerful spheres detonate when a ship comes into close proximity, triggering a blast that applies weapon and mobility buffs to your ship – but not your rivals’; unless they arrive at the Nexus within one-to-two seconds of you. That means you can expect pacy, dramatic PvP where sudden changes of fortune and closely fought battles are the flavor of the day.

To maintain that pace and action, sensor dampeners, weapon disruptors, shield boost amplifiers, shield rechargers, shield power relays, shield flux coils, and core defense field purgers are all banned for this event. Combatants are also limited to a maximum of one fitted local repair module across shields and armor. Additionally, modules, boosters or implants with a meta level higher than 0 are also prohibited. Are you brave enough to head into the Proving Grounds this Halloween? Then pick up your Proving Filaments and make your way to the Proving Grounds between 28and 31 October. As ever, the Proving Grounds leaderboards will let track Capsuleer performance throughout the event.

Oh. And.... BOO!
EVE Online - EVE Online
Combative capsuleers,

The Uprising expansion – a major new narrative-driven update for EVE Online – is coming in November and brings with it the biggest overhaul to Factional Warfare that New Eden has ever seen. The arrival of Frontlines will be a big change to how the empires’militias compete for control of the warzones on Tranquility.

To encourage participation during the testing period on Singularity and thereby obtain as much valuable feedback as possible on this new feature we are hosting a Frontlines Wargame on the Singularity test server with some cool rewards to be granted on Tranquility for individual capsuleers and player corporations who distinguish themselves!

The wargame will commence at 14:00 UTC on 26 October when Singularity becomes accessible to players after the initial state of the Amarr/Minmatar warzone on Singularity is set up and it will conclude at 14:00 UTC on 4 November when Singularity will be taken offline and analysis of the outcome will begin.

There will also be a livestream on CCP TV today, 25 October at 16:00 UTC where CCP Aurora and CCP Swift will go over all the changes coming to Factional Warfare and the content first shown at EVE Vegas last week. For details about the wargame refer to this forum post.

THE THEATER OF WAR

The Frontlines Wargame on Singularity will take place in the Amarr/Minmatar warzone only. By confining the wargame to a single warzone we hope to maximize participation in one place and make monitoring the progress of the event easier.

Factions don’t matter for the purposes of this contest, though, and so within the context of this wargame on Singularity the Amarr militia will simply be regarded as the "Blue Force" and the Minmatar will be the "Red Force". So, if you’re a proud Gallente or loyal Caldari on Tranquility, you don’t need to feel bad about fighting for the Empire or the Republic on Singularity.

On the day the wargame commences, control of all systems in the warzone on Singularity will be evenly divided between the militias.

VICTORY CONDITIONS

As this is just a wargame which is primarily to help with testing this new feature, you’re a winner just by taking part. That said, we realize EVE players won’t be content with mere platitudes, and so the militia with control over the most systems in the warzone at the conclusion of the testing period will be declared the winner of the wargame.

There will also be compelling rewards for individual capsuleers AND corporations for both sides who distinguish themselves in the warzone during the wargame period, regardless of the final outcome.

We appreciate any time capsuleers can dedicate towards helping test the Frontlines feature on Singularity. This wargame will be a great opportunity for you to dip your toe into a potentially new and exciting space vocation in New Eden!

For those participating in the wargame who would like to provide feedback on their experience, the team would welcome contributions to this thread on the official EVE Online forums.

We look forward to seeing where the first Frontlines emerge on Singularity. Let’s make Frontlines the best it can be.

DYNAMIC BOUNTY SYSTEM CHANGES LIVE

Additionally, an update to the Dynamic Bounty System (DBS) mentioned at EVE Vegas has gone live today on EVE Online’s Tranquility server! The minimum payout for the DBS has risen from 50% to 100 %, meaning that ISK rewards for pirate hunting in Nullsec will now be higher.

Until 30 November, there will be a bonus 10% payout - making the minimum payout 110% for the whole month - which represents a significant increase in payout for blasting NPCs, so get out there and bring in some bounties! Changes will take place during the DBS updates, so solar systems with modifiers below the floor may take some time to adjust.

Whether you´re participating in the wargame on Singularity or checking out the new DBS changes on Tranquility it’s an exciting time in space.

Fly Safe!
