Hello Chasers, this is the KurtzPel Team.
The year 2020 is finally upon us and KurtzPel will go through massive changes and have new content. Please check below for the info.
New Karma - Fallen Light
This new Karma is a magic cannon named "Elemental Buster" and takes on the role of a long-range magic slayer. Unlike other long-range Karmas, this Karma does not gain any auto-targeting assistance and all shot projectiles will follow the player's aim.
PVP Season 2
In order to judge the Chaser's ability on many different aspects of PVP, Chasers will no longer be able to select certain modes when matchmaking.
However, once you are matched with your opponents, there will be a new system where you will be able to change your weapon and skills before the match starts.
The reward system for PVP Season 2 will also change. Before, players were afraid of their ranks decreasing during the season and stopped to do Official Probatio after reaching a certain rank. From Season 2, players will be rewarded based on the highest ranking achieved during the season, so you no longer have to be afraid of ranking down and continue to try your best to achieve the highest rank.
Lastly, the emblem shown beside the players' name for ranks A, S, and G will be different to highlight the high ranks the players achieved.
PVP Missions
PVP Missions will no longer be separated by Practice and Official Probatio. Instead, they will now be separated to Duel Mission and Challenge Missions.
Duel Missions will match players with 3 ~ 5 vs PVP and there will be no rank decreases upon losing a match. However, because of that, players will only be able to reach up to Rank A in this mode. There will also be new and bigger maps to accommodate the 5 vs 5.
2 New Deathmatch Maps and 1 new Conquest Maps will be added.
Challenge Missions will be the classic 2 vs 2 format and you can rank up and rank down just like before. In order for players to reach ranks higher than A, they must play on this mode.
Acquiring Karma
New and existing Chasers will now be able to acquire Dual Soul and Sacred Guardian Karma with reduced CP cost.
For players who already purchased the Dual Soul and Sacred Guardian Karma, after the update, you will receive your current Karma's Level + 1.
New Karma Growth System
The max growth of Karma will be increased from 3 to 5. You will also learn new skills through the new Karma UI instead of from certain Karma NPCs. Chasers will be able to learn new skills and abilities by leveling up their Karma.
For players who already have all the skills unlocked, they will have their skill items removed and have all those removed skills applied to the new Karma Growth System.
Character Inventory
A new inventory function and UI will be added. Players will now be able to check all their items in a convenient UI.
Mailbox System
A new mailbox system will be added. This system will be mainly used for sending out Event rewards or compensations for certain inconveniences.
PVP Ranks and Rating
As fun as it is to rank up to a higher rank, we found that many players felt frustrated whenever they lost. In order to assist with this, we will be decreasing the amount of points upon losing a match and also decreased the number of stages required to rank up to 3 instead of 5.
Season Pass
We have added a Season Pass to the existing Season Level system.
When your Battle Pass is activated, you will receive additional rewards while also receiving the rewards for Season Level. The Season Pass will provide greater rewards than the purchase price such as Season Pass Exclusive Costumes and Weapons.
New Currency - DP
A new currency called DP will be added. This currency can be received by clearing missions.
CP Shop
A new shop that uses CP as currency will be added. Chasers will be able to purchase a variety of items using their CP from this shop.
In-Game Cash Shop (KP Shop)
A new in-game cash shop will be added that uses a new Cash currency called KP will be added. This new shop will provide players with easy to use UI and also provide the option to try on certain items before purchase.
PVE Mode
All PVE missions will now be unified to 1 difficulty but will change difficulty depending on the mode being played.
PVE will be separated in to 2 categories: Group Mission and Daily Mission
Group Mission will focus on fighting random enemies with 3 to 4 party members and the Daily Dungeons will have a designated enemy you fight with 6 player teams on each day.
Item Modification
The item modification system will be removed. All weapon, costume and accessories will now have their Sub Stats removed due to this change and a new 'Ability Slot' will be added.
All Weapon and Costume will now have their stats to the max upgrade performance amount.
Weapons will now have all slots such as Karma Crystal and Sub Karma Crystal unlocked.
For items that already has its sub stats allocated, it will be changed to the highest stat in the new system.
Karma, Weapon and Outfits will also have the new stats applied to it after the update.
Magic Stone
A new item called Magic Stone will be added. This item will allow players to apply stats to Weapon and Costumes.
Settia Costume
Settia Costume will now be released for top and bottom pieces.
Gender Costumes
From now on, all costumes released for KurtzPel will be released for a set gender. All existing costumes can be worn regardless of gender.
Character Name Change Ticket
A new item that will allow players to change their character's name will be added.
Character Appearance Change Ticket
A new item that only changes your character's appearance will be added. This ticket cannot change the character's gender.
Basic Motion Change Item
LUA selection step will be removed from Character Creation and all characters will now have default motion set to the "JUDGE" LUA. Also, after the update, everyone will receive a cube item that will allow you to pick 1 basic motion of your choice.
This basic motion items will change your character's idle pose, idle motion, and also jump animation.
Extraction
You will now acquire different items from extracting your items. All existing Essence items will be removed and automatically exchanged to the new items.

Synthesis
More synthesis options using the PVP "Probatio Mark" material will be added.
Monster Accessory, Dye, and Settia Accessories will be removed from Synthesis.
Items such as Lost Piece and Energy will be exchanged to CP.
Emote Items
All emotes will now bind to a specific character upon use. (Cannot be reversed)
All free emotes will automatically be bound to your characters and certain emotes acquired from Events, Purchase and etc. will need to be consumed and bound to a character before it can be used.
Steam Inventory
Steam inventory will be no longer used. However, players will still be able to withdraw the remaining items inside their Steam Inventory.
Basic Stat Redistribution
In order to aid with balance, we will be removing the Basic Stat Redistribution function from the game. All Chasers will now be fixed to the 5/5/5/5/5 stats.
NPC Affinity System
The NPC tracking Affinity system will be removed. All affinity rewards will be sent to Chasers whoever unlocked the Karmas during the January 15th Maintenance. However, common affinity NPC items such as Ensher and Crim will not be given.
Supply Box
All existing Supply Box items will no longer be sold in the game. You can still use the remaining Supply Boxes.
Rebirth Ticket
The rebirth ticket will no longer be sold and basic stat redistribution function from rebirth will be removed. Chasers will still be able to use the remaining Rebirth Ticket.
All above changes can change due to development complications and when there is a change, we will notify you on the changes.
