Dear Warlords,
We will be conducting server maintenance during the period of 8am to 11am, 13th February (UTC+8). The estimated maintenance time is approximately 2 hours. Warlords will receive 8,000 Bronze Coins and 300 Honour after server maintenance completed. Here are the patch note:

1.Virus:The Cure
Villages have suffered huge losses due to the virus. Commander Adler step forward to recruit righteous Warlords from different regions and protect local residents away from the epidemic. Please join Commander Adler to fight against the virus and rescue the city.



This PVE level will be available 12:00-24:00 from February 13 to February 27.

2.Map shifting for this month
“Attack on Wall of Rangifer” and “Valley Fortress” will be added to the map pool of February while “Border Fort” will be removed.

1)Attack on Wall of Rangifer

The Great Wall was built between the Rangifer mountains, creating a natural barrier to prevent the invasion of Northern tribes. The front slope of the Great Wall is narrow and long. The structure rises along with the S-shape terrain. Defenders can use several watchtowers and city walls to hold their position, while attackers can put forward after capturing those watchtowers one by one or conduct an ambush after climbing up to the city wall with the ladders.




Tactic Introduction
The outside slope of the Great Wall is narrow and long, with a multi-level towel located in the middle. Attackers can use the Battering Ram to attack from the front tower or use ladders to climb up to the city wall before an attack.



The large-scale tower on the front is an important defensive building, which was built into a three-story structure and equipped with several firearms inside.



Defenders can use the firearms inside the tower or attack the flaming pitch nearby the front gate to defend their position.



Point A is located behind the tower. Attackers can break the front tower or attack from city wall on both sides to capture it.



Point B and C will be available to be captured after Attackers taking over Point A. Attackers can push forward along with the city wall or use ladders to climb up the city wall under Point B.



Point B is located inside a large-scale beacon, connecting to the city wall on both sides. However some parts of the beacon can be easily broken by Trebuchets or Artillery.




Point C is on the left of Point B and located inside a small tower. Attackers can push forward along the city wall or directly attack from the ground to capture Point C.




The base camp is available to be captured after Attackers capturing Pint B or Point C. There is a flat ground between base camp and Point C.Attackers can use the flat ground or push forward along the city wall over Point C to the tower nearby base camp then conduct an attack to it.




Warlords can deploy some units nearby the gate of base camp or put some ranged units above the gate to wipe invading enemies.




The city wall on the front of base camp can be easily broken by Trebuchets or artillery. Attackers can take advantage of this point to capture the base camp more easily.



2)Valley Fortress (readjusted)

The terrain of Valley Fortress is gradually increasing along with the mountains.The internal layout is compact with crisscrossed paths .There is a small castle located on the highest point inside the fortress,which can be used by defenders to protect the base camp after external castle being captured by attackers.



Tactic Introduction
Battering Ram, Siege Tower and ladders are available to be used to attack Point A and Point B.



Point C will be available to be captured after Attackers capturing Point A or Point B. Point C was located at the flat ground outside the inner castle. Attackers can push forward through two gates under Point C or climb up to the city wall through ladders.




Base camp will be available to be captured after Attackers taking over Point C. Attackers can advance to the base camp through gates on both sides or conduct an ambush after climbing up to the city wall of inner castle.



Defenders can deploy some ranged units at the city wall of inner castle and take advantage of the terrain to fight against enemies under the city wall. Besides that,Defenders should pay attention to gates on both sides in case of a surprise attack.



3.Exclusive Achievements and Badges

[Battle of Valley Fortress]: win 1 PVP battle in Valley Fortress (siege)

[Backwater battle]: earn 1 "Combo Breaker" badge in Valley Fortress (siege)
[Megatron Octagon]: earn 1 "Headhunter" badge in Wall of Rangifer (siege)

2)Exclusive Badges of Attack on Wall of Rangifer (Siege)
[Mighty Warriors]: Earn the highest number of hero kills on your team in Wall of Rangifer.
[Brave and fierce]: In Wall of Rangifer Battle, deal 800,000 damage.

4.“The Return of Veteran” Activity is back !
We are now relaunching “The Return of Veteran” activity to provide better game experience during the epidemic. Warlords returning to the battlefield of Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier will enjoy various benefits including extra Auxiliary Units, Specific buff and certain Return Gifts. Warlords completing invitation quests will also be rewarded.



Available: February 13 to February 27

Requirement of Returning Veterans: Warlords who haven’t login from February 1 to February 9

Activity and rewards:
1)Login Activity
Returning Veterans can login the game everyday to get various rewards including Treatises, Honour, Seasonal XP and so on.
2)Specific Buff for Veterans
Auxiliary Unit Buff: Returning Veterans can recruit one more Chivalric Era unit and Silver Era unit
Battle Buff: Returning Veterans will get 7-day premium account as reward
3)Return Challenges for Veterans
Returning Veterans will get one Chivalric Era unit signaculum once they advance to next seasonal level. Each Warlord can get 20 Signaculum at most. (20 Signaculums can be used to unlock one Chivalric Era unit)
Please note:
-Signaculum reward will be distributed by in-game mail within 3days after activity ended
-This activity is only available for 15 days, and only applicable to returning Warlords over level 60
-The challenge process of different characters under one returning account will be calculated separately.
4)Exclusive Discount Pack
Returning Veterans can buy the exclusive discount pack. Use this item to get login rewards for 7 days in a row, including Bronze coins, Honour, Skill point and Unit Medal and so on.

Invitation Rewards:
-Warlords inviting 1 warlord will get [Battle-ready - Comradeship], including one Treatise
-Warlords inviting 3 Warlords will get[Battle-ready - Devotion], including Treatise *2 and Blue Artillery Box *1
-Warlords inviting 8 Warlords will get [Battle-ready - Friendship], including Treatise*3, Chivalric Era selectable Signaculum *10 and Purple Artillery Box*1
-Warlords inviting 15 Warlords will get [Battle-ready - Uprising], including Treatise*4, Indomitable Lion( permanent) and legendary Artillery Box*1
Above-mentioned rewards will be distributed by in-game mail within 3 days after activity ended.

5.Relevant Adjustments
we made the following adjustments since the conquering process of all Warlords have been effected due to the ongoing epidemic outbreak. Hope you will understand.
1)Time Adjustments
-[Heart of the World] will be extended for 11 days and officially ended on February 29
-[Conqueror’s Crown] will be launched on March 1 and ended on March 18

2)Battle schedule adjustments to the City of Heroes
-The first Territory War of the City of Heroes on March 3 has been changed to military exercise
-Territory War will be available after March 7 then there will be no more military exercises

3)The release of [City of Heroes]
City of Heroes will be available to all Warlords after server maintenance on February 27

6.Special Login Activity for this Month
Available: from 11:00, February 13 to 24:00, February 29
Join in this activity (O interface) and get various rewards, including Bronze Coins, Unit Medal and Treatise.

7.Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where the Rebels and Bandit camps in the Borderland did not refresh.
Fixed a bug where some rebels camp in the open world did not take effect correctly.
Fixed a bug where the privilege fief did not fully displayed in M interface.
Fixed a bug where solo Warlords couldn’t quit their Alliance or take part in other Houses.
Fixed a bug where Warlords could operate items inside their supply dump when they leaving other fiefs without weapons.
Optimized the information synchronization speed of TAB key inside the battlefield.

1月19日,也就是上个周日,《战意:前线》再一次开办了《策划面对面》直播活动,在这次以新春特别直播为主题的活动中,《战意:前线》的策划“白球”与“饺子”亲身向各位将军展望了《战意:前线》2020的前景,也爆料了众多全新的玩法与内容。现在就让我为各位将军总结梳理下:



一、全新玩法,牧原会猎



当前,将军们可以通过势力战来验证自己家族、联盟的实力,通过参与官方举办的赛事验证团队的实力。但是将军们肯定有疑惑,自身的实力处于什么段位?全服第一又是谁?

于是万众期待的“牧原会猎”玩法,即将在春节后正式上线!

牧原会猎总共有十大段位,将军们会从把总一路晋升,最终成为万军敬仰的总都军!每场比赛后,根据对局的表现,将军们会获得或者扣除一定积分。当积分累计达到足够条件,就会进入下一段位。
赛季结束后,牧原会猎达到一定段位的将军,还将获得专属限定时装!

二、势力战全面争夺即将开启

随着派瑞尔长城被攻破,混乱之地将于1月27日正式开放,围绕大陆的核心,英雄之城的战役即将开启!

※春节期间,仅开启混乱之地板块,势力战争夺将在年后进行

在英雄之城的战场上,将军们将会体验到全新的势力战地图,神秘的大型攻城器械以及新的势力战规则与玩法。

1.Important Updates: Attire Challenge

New Attire Challenges are now available for Warlords who have already bought S2 Battle Pass (Holy Mountain's Guidance or Holy Mountain's Will).



Please noted: Attire Challenges process will be accumulated for Warlords who haven’t bought S1 battle pass, however they are unable to complete the mission or get the rewards.

Rules:
1)Warlords who bought [Ortoq] can get [Ortoq-Sunset] after completing relevant challenges
2)Warlords who bought [Noyan’s] can get [Noyan’s-Snow] after completing relevant challenges
3)Warlords who bought [Shaman’s Ceremonial] can get [Shaman’s Ceremonial-Loyal] after completing relevant challenges
4)Unit flags in Steppe style also will be available after completing other challenges
5)Exclusive Titles will be available after completing all Attire Challenges

Get basic Seasonal attire and upgrade your season level to win the discoloration attire.

2.Unit Optimizations

1)The damage taken by Kheshigs during the first stage of charge has been decreased by 30%, the damage dealt by Kheshigs during the second charge stage has been increased by 30%.
2)kheshigs will charge towards hero at once if over 60% of soldiers were blocked by terrain.
3)Decreased the deceleration effect of snow weather dealt to units from 30% to 20%

3.Optimizations to Empire Guardian System

1)Empire Guardian members will enjoy 0% tax rate when collecting in NPC fiefs
2)Added a new cohort (the 6th cohort) for Empire Guardian of every legion

4.Bug Fixes and Optimizations

1)Optimized the refresh rule of Resources Sites in the open world, now common and uncommon resources site would automatically refresh if they did not enter low reserves status in 24 hours and 36 hours.
2)Fixed a bug where the Combat Protection buff of Respawn area has a short cooldown
3)Fixed a bug where ranged weapon did not aim correctly when shooting enemies on high ground
4)Fixed a bug where the trigger of Seasonal weekly challenges and unit challenges did not take effect in World War mode
5)Fixed a bug where season level could not be increased after level 200
6)Fixed the incomplete text display in Empire Guardian interface
7)Fixed a bug where Warlords can’t change their artillery due to the incorrect artillery amount in Supply Point

1.Important Updates: World War mode

In order to test for global cross-server services and optimize Warlords’ matchmaking experience with fairer battles, New World War mode is now available for Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier, which means that you could find yourself fighting alongside or against Warlords from Conqueror’s Blade CN server.

c.Two options are available, including (world war) Field Battle and (world war) Siege Battle

2.New Map:
Now we are offering two new maps: Steppe Wuqing (Field battle) and Sun City (Siege battle) in matchmaking battles. Please check out detailed introduction in previous announcement.




3.Map Adjustments:
Based on the data analysis, we decide to make adjustments to all 8v8 siege maps.
1)Lesser Greenpeak Camp Siege:
a.Adjust the attacker respawn position, moved it forward to speed up the reinforcement time for attacker.;
b.Number of trebuchets have been increased from 4 to 5.
2)The Storehouse Siege:
a.Adjust the attacker respawn position, moved it forward to speed up the reinforcement time for attacker.;
b.Number of trebuchets have been increased from 4 to 5.
3)Frontier Camp Siege:
Number of trebuchets have been increased from 4 to 5.

4.Camera Update: auto-hide function
We updated an auto-hide feature for your camera! Now you can walk around all kinds of corners, crates with ease. Anything gets in your way will fade.

5.Unit Optimizations
1)Kheshigs will no longer charge towards Hero once they encounter some barriers or get interrupted. Now they will charge towards Hero after 8 seconds or reaching their destinations.
2)The mount of Kheshigs and Yesaul Cavalry have been adjusted to Rouncey
3)Kheshigs'target of skill "rushing back" had changed to position of commander
4)Soldiers of Kheshigs be stopped in rushing skill will attack several seconds,and rush back when all Kheshigs finish rushing
5)The unit price of Rattan Ranger’s Kit in Weapon Smuggler’s shop has been adjusted to 2,350 Silver coins
6)Now units’ bracing skills will no longer regardless of opponents’ block
7)The “Switch Weapons” skill of Iron Reaper now have 3 seconds cooldown time
8)Polearm Infantry units now can conduct normal attack while using [Brace Weapons]
9)Now Steppe Bowman will no longer enjoy 15% extra armour penetration unless they are using [serrated arrow] skill
10)All S1 exclusive units no longer appears at bandits encounter in open world

6.Bug Fixes
1)Fixed the abnormal model display of “Golden Sun Mount Attire” in Unit Details Interface
2)Fixed the incorrect stage amount of weekly quests: Peacemaker and Justiciar, they only have 3 stages in total.
3)Fixed a bug when the battering ram reached the city gate, it may not disable the switch of the gate automatically
4)Fixed a bug where Liquid Fire of Musket heroes didn’t deal damage to enemies properly
5)Fixed a bug sometimes units couldn’t be stunned when using [brace weapons] and [Stand Firm] skills
6)Fixed a bug where the hit box of Longsword & shield units and Shortsword & shield units in Block formation is inoperative
7)Fixed a bug where some soldiers were out of control after last unit formation optimizations
8)Fix the collider problem of Riverlands Castle and Border Fort levels

Dear Warlords,

Today we would like to discuss a new system which our designer team have been working on for a long time: cross-server matchmaking system. We call it “World War mode”, which means that Warlords from all over the world can fight on the same battlefield.

World war mode is the very first step of our global cross-server matchmaking plan, which is also a big step forward for Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier to realize global matchmaking and connect Warlords around the world. Today we would like to share the design notion of our team, mainly as follows:

1.Fair Play

When talking about Cross-server matchmaking, the first thing comes to Warlords’ mind must be: doctrine system. We are fully aware that the differences in Doctrine system sometimes hinder our fair competition pursuit. Therefore, we decided to invalidate the doctrine effect in World War mode, doctrines decreasing units’ leadership are inoperative in [War battle] accordingly.

Fairness is the consistent and basic goal for our design team. We set up a new game server for SE postseason, providing a completely equal competitive environment for participating Warlords. The doctrine limitation in cross-server matchmaking mode was also made to maintain a fair and equal battle environment.

2.Global Matchmaking

World war mode connects Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier and Conqueror’s Blade CN server, which is a good start for our global matchmaking plan as well as a huge challenge to our technical team since it may cause unstable pings and other issues. We will make relevant improvements and optimizations according to your feedbacks and suggestions.

Due to some technical issues, in-game voice and text chat of world war mode has been temporarily closed. However new chatroulette (holding MMB) is available to use in the battlefield. We will keep improving this new system to make it easier for Warlords from different regions to communicate with each other.

3.Optimizations to matchmaking experience

We believe that many Warlords are upset about the current matchmaking experience during the low peak period of Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier. However cross-server is a great way to offer better matchmaking experience with shorter siege battle queuing time and teammates or opponents with smaller level differences.

4.New Gameplay

Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier now have weekly server maintenance and update on every Thursday, and we are constantly introducing new gameplay and systems at the same time.
S1 have been officially launched at late December, 2019. New Empire Guardian system was released last week, and we are ready to release new cross-server matchmaking system this week…We had to admit that such frequent updates did bring about some bugs, however we will continue to develop and pursue new gameplay and systems after solving those issues.

After Jan 16th server maintenance ended, World war mode will be available to test in the following period:
-18:00-20:00, Jan 16th (Thursday)
-18:00-20:00, Jan 17th (Friday)

Operation Team of Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier

Dear Warlords,

We will offer two new maps in order to provide various battle experience and better match-making experience during low peak period. Steppe Wuqing (Field battle) and Sun City (Siege battle) will be available to play after server maintenance of Jan 16th (This Thursday) ended.

Steppe Wuqing (15V15 Conquest)

Grasslands on the highland, elder ruins leave the lores here.

Height of terrains hide secret of the ancient time, the open area of grassland welcome the brave challenger.



The central area is waiting for battle cry from cavalry. Battle never end here.




C-area, the karst geography make the ambush shadow never goes away.




Ancient ruins stand on the high ground of area A. Eagle’s eyes see no secret but tactics. The warrior who know this will win the fight.




Deep down, deep down, hidden under the ruins, there are secret path of the old time, guide you to the top of the ruins. Use here wisely, like an assassin using poisoned knife stab into enemies’ heart.




The horse, run without worry of the war, waiting silently at the secret place on the battleground. Wait for the warrior to bring them into the fight, and die for the glory.

The true warrior, know the grassland and tactics, will find the path to the final victory.



Sun City (Siege)

Dual gates, crossed road, surrounded by stone walls, iron forged eastern city that never fall before

In the beginning of the combat, you can deploy tactics based on the dual gates and the city walls. Attackers need to find the right spot to make the huge hit with all team’s power.



In the other hand, defenders need to watch wisely, choose the right fight back strategy to hold the flags on the walls. Be care of the trebuchets from attackers.



As soon as any flag on the wall has been captured, the centric-combat of flag C begins. The flag C is located at the center crossroad of the city, defenders need to face assaults from 2 different direction.



Around the C flag, defenders of the city deployed destructible barriers in order to counter attackers. Defenders can form up there to make a sweet trap waiting for the attackers.



After C flag been captured, the final flag is turn on for capture in the last position of the city. There are two narrowed roadway to the final flags, attackers can group together to assault the final defensive force. Defenders can use the structure advantage to strike the first hit.



Bonus hint: There is a high ground area for archers, located at the second floor in the final area building. Use this area wisely, both team can get the advantage here.

Civilization, conflict, war, the world is never tranquil with the invasion of Khan in the North and the turmoil in the East and West, and the city of hero is in danger…Will the Empire fall into chaos? Perhaps it’s the beginning of a whole brand new evolution.

Throughout various regions of the open world, the imperial land were separated by Houses and Alliances. Under such circumstance, Warlords have to define their own fate.

Introduction to Empire Guardian

Diplomacy
-Empire Guardian were established to protect the homeland and would not occupy any forts in open world. The Empire Guardian are hostile to all Freedom Union by default
-All Empire Guardian has established friendly relationship between each other
-Empire Guardian has established friendly diplomatic relations with the former imperial forces

Rewards
-Empire Guardian members have the right to collect and craft in imperial territory with 50% tax rate by default
-Warlords will be rewarded accordingly to the quest accomplishments during every territory war
-Empire Guardian will receive bonus profits after regaining fiefs for former imperial forces

Accession and Quit
- Each Empire Guardian battalion can have 100 members at most. However when the upper limit is reached, Warlords can join with some sovereigns. (100 additional position are available for each battalion)
- Warlords can only take part in the Empire Guardian of current region at the beginning of new season, and they will be randomly distributed in one battalion. However Warlords can pay some sovereigns to choose other battalions in the Empire Guardian of current region
- Empire Guardian of other regions are available for Warlords when the season getting into “Crossing Frontier”
- Warlords who have already took part in Empire Guardian cannot quit within 7 days
- Warlords’ Acclaim gained after took part in Empire Guardian will not be wiped after quit. They can get all Acclaim back once they rejoin in the Empire Guardian.

Battle
- Empire Guardian will make declaration against Freedom Union automatically at one day before Territory War
- All members will receive the battle mission once declaration succeed.
- Warlords have two free chance to reset the battle mission. Certain silver coins are required to get additional chances

Member Promotion
- Each Battalion of Empire Guardian have 1 battalion commander, 2 deputy battalion commanders, 4 military commanders, 2 elite battalion members, 10 battalion veterans and other regular members.
- Battalion commander, deputy battalion commanders and military commanders: if their battalion are designated as commanding battalion, they will have the right to force other members to evacuate from the battlefield, however they can’t exercise this power between each other.
- The promotion depends on the Acclaim Warlords have earned during one week, Warlords with higher Acclaim will get higher position.
- During S1, the position will be adjusted at 22:30 every Saturday according to Warlords’ Acclaim

Dear Warlords,
After server maintenance on January 9th, we will offer two new 8V8 siege map in order to provide better match-making experience during low peak period. Map shift for this month is coming up soon.

1.The Storehouse

The Storehouse is located at the hills. Attackers have to break external walls first, then rally their units to attack the inner castle.


Tactics:
The inner castle is surrounded by high walls and built against ridge. The inner layout is compact with rough terrains. External fortifications were built against the terrain, looking down the surrounding wild forests. Due to the unique terrain and structure, the storehouse siege battle can be divided into two stages:
In the first stage, the two sides mainly fight around the external walls. Defenders need to pay attention to two main entrances while preventing surprise attack by attackers through ladders. While Attackers should optimize their tactics to rally main forces to break the line of defense.


Attackers can try to use artillery or Trebuchets to destroy defenders’ artillery on outside walls, then push the Battering ram nearby Point A to break the front gate.


There is a supply point on the side of Point B, which can be used by defenders to support Point B, and also can be used by attackers to rally more units to attack final base camp. If Attackers want to take over Point B, they have to block defenders’ reinforcements from this supply point or create more chance for frontal battles by conducting a surprise attack to it.


When the battle coming to the second stage, attackers can get inside the castle from the main gate nearby point A and point B, or take an outflanking route from the side supply point, or conduct surprise attack after climbing up to the city wall. At the same time, high city walls can help defenders get rid of enemies’ Trebuchets. They also can take advantage of those complex and narrow paths inside the castle to hide their units and ambush enemies. At this stage, both sides need to make the best use of their tactics and the power of execution to gain some advantages at certain area.


2.Lesser Greenpeak Camp

Main features:
This military barracks located at the hills are used for garrison. With a compact and intricate layout as well as unique terrain features, the lesser greenpark camp can help defenders to block enemies more effectively.


Tactics:

This barrack is surrounded by wooden walls and only have one entrance on the front. The inner paths is narrow and curved, and there are several defensive platform which can be used to keep an eye on invading enemies. The base camp is located at the highest part of the barrack, which is under full protection by various fortifications.
After the battle breaking out, attackers need to use the battering ram to destroy the city gate and quickly climb up to the city wall with ladders, creating chaos and squeezing the space of defenders’ units. At the same time, they need to constantly look out enemies’ ranged units and restrain them with Trebuchets if necessary.


Defenders can stay on barricade wall and stop enemies from climbing up to the wall, or retreat some units to central high platform and deploy ranged units to wipe enemies. When Attackers enter the narrow passage nearby point A after breaking the main gate, defenders can deploy ranged units behind point A to block oncoming enemies.


When the battle getting into the final stage, attackers can use the side supply point to rally more units to attack base camp, while defenders can hold this position to restrain enemies’ attack.


The final stage battle mainly take place around the central highest platform, which is hard to attack and easy to defend. Attackers can get to the platform through the narrow entrance and stairs, or conduct attacks on surrounding walls after climbing up with ladders.

We will be conducting server maintenance during the period of 8 am to 10 am, 9th, Jan (UTC+8). The estimated maintenance time is approximately 2 hours. Warlords will receive 5,000 Bronze Coins and 200 Honour after the server maintenance. Here are the patch note:

1.Important Updates: Freedom Union VS Empire Guardian
Civilization, conflict, war, the world is never tranquil with the invasion of Khan in the North and the turmoil in the East and West, and the city of hero is in danger…Will the Empire fall into chaos? Perhaps it’s the beginning of a brand new evolution.
Throughout various regions of the open world, the imperial land were separated by Houses and Alliances. Under such circumstance, Warlords have to define their own fate.



1) Freedom Union
-Follow the destiny? Take part in other Houses or build your own Houses?
Crown yourself with the honor and glory while conquering the open world and creating your own destiny.



-Warlords who have already took part in Houses and Alliances will join [Freedom Union] by default.

2.Optimizations to the Nobility Titles of Freedom Union



-optimized the distribution of Nobility Titles reward. The reward will be distributed at midnight every Monday.
-Optimized the distribution rule of Nobility Titles, now the Liege can dub or remove other members’ nobility titles at any time. Each Warlord can only receive nobility titles from Liege once within 24 hours
-The Influence of each House will be calculated at 22:30 pm at every Saturday. Nobility titles of other house members will be removed along with the change of Liege’s nobility titles.
-New House Liege will directly get the nobility titles of old Liege
-Warlords will be notified by in-game mail when receiving nobility titles

3.Map Balance Adjustments
1)Riverlands Castle (Siege)
Based on the collected feedbacks and battlefield stats, currently the winning ratio of Attackers is much higher than we expected. Defenders are hard to conduct effective defense. Accordingly, we decided to make the following adjustments to rebalance the battlefield:

-Decreased the game duration from 13 minutes to 11 minutes
-Adjusted the location of Siege Tower by moving it backward by 10 meters
-Removed 2 Culverins and 2 Catapults of Attackers. Swapped 1 Ballista on defenders’ city wall with 1 Culverin
-Decreased the total number of siege ladders at left city wall from 10 to 9
-Adjusted the location of defenders’ left supply point by moving it backward and closer to attackers’ ground


-Added another respawn point for defenders behind point A and point B. This respawn points is binding to Point B, which means it will remain active until defenders lost Points B.


-Adjusted the location of defenders’ supply point (as pictured). It is unable to be captured until the base camp being activated.


-Adjusted the location of supply point in defenders’ base camp by moving it inside the respawn area


-Adjusted the location of defenders’ base camp


2)Territory War Siege Map optimizations
The inner castle structure has been adjusted to optimize the combat experience in the final area.
This adjustment covers all cities using this type of map model, including Sobek, Acheron, Vaja, Burdost.
-Rebuilt wall structure nearby final area to enable passage on top of the wall


-Added a gate at one of the inner castle entrances, which can be destroyed by Warlords.


3)Frontier Camp (Siege)
Based on the collected feedbacks and battlefield stats, currently the winning ratio of attackers is much lower than we expected. Accordingly, we decided to make the following adjustments to create more advantages for attackers.
-Increased the game duration from 6 minutes to 7 minutes.
-Decreased the flag-capturing time from 60 seconds to 45 seconds.

At the same time, two new 8V8 siege map are now available---The Storehouse and Lesser Greenpark Camp

4.Unit Formation Optimizations
We made the following optimizations to improve the formation display and fix some operation issues.
1)Optimized the Line formation for the following pikemen units:
Village Watchmen, Pike Militia, Prefecture Pikemen, Imperial Pike Guards, Black Dragon Pikemen

2) Optimized the Line formation for the following mounted bladesman and lancers units:
Ironcap Scout Cavalry, Prefecture Heavy Cavalry, Dagger-Axe Lancers, Coutiliers, Yeomen, Monastic Knights, Cataphract Lancers.

3)Optimized the Wedge and Column formation for the following mounted bladesman and lancer units:
Prefecture Heavy Cavalry, Yeomen, Fire Lance Cavalry, Rattan Rangers

4)Optimized the Schiltron formation for the following spearman units:
Ironcap Spearmen, Imperial Spear Guard, Spear Sergeants, Black Dragon Spearmen

5)Optimized the Three Ranks formation for the following crossbowmen and arquebusiers units:
Repeater Crossbowmen, Demesne Arbalists, Demesne Crossbowmen, Imperial Arquebusiers, Ironcap Arquebusiers, Demesne Arquebusiers, Kriegsrat Fusiliers, Sea Stag Deathdealers

6)Optimzied the Block formation for the following crossbowmen units:
Demesne Arbalists, Demesne Crossbowmen

7)Optimized the shield formation of Imperial Javelineers

8)Optimized the hawk formation of Fire Lance Cavalry

9)Optimized the schiltron formation of Imperial Pike Guards


5.System Optimizations
1)Battlefield score optimizations
-Warlords will get certain contribution score when they interrupt enemies capturing the flag and supply points in field battles
-When one point under contest, Warlords inside the point trying to stop opponents capturing the flag will get certain contribution score.
2)Optimizations to Auxiliary units and Mercenary
Auxiliary units and Mercenary have been moved to [Unit] interface (previously [War Scholar] interface)
3)Supply point interact optimization
The interact process of supply point has been simplified, now units, weapons and mounts are displayed when Warlords pressing F to open the equipment interface.
4)Auxiliary units display logic optimization
Now expired Auxiliary units will have sealed mark and will be placed after all other units.
5)Optimized the logic when Warlords right clicking the Signacula to unlock sealed Auxiliary units. Now unlocking process interface will show up instead of unit leveling up interface.
6)Moved the Bodkin Arrows of Imperial Archer to unit skill area, the function of “5” has been changed to “select weapon”
7)Adjusted the unit price of Rattan Ranger’s Kit in Weapon Smuggler’s Shop to 4,200 silver coins.
8)Adjusted the Expedition OfficerⅠquest to earn 1 cakewalk badge in Expeditions
9)Optimized the 3D UI of Focused Fire for Arquebusier units
10)Replace the [professional Rivalry]of Prefecture Guards with [Unswerving](increase blunt defence by 6%)

6.Bug Fixes
-Fixed the bug that Auxiliary units would refresh after server maintenance
-Fixed the bug where Auxiliary unit couldn’t be deployed on the battlefield if the unit was sealed in Warlord’s unit tree.
-Fixed the bug where the block damage of shielded units did not count into the battlefield damage taken stats.
- Fixed the bug where cavalry units, equipped with Legendary Melee Cavalry Doctrine Ⅱ, may get blocked by enemies before causing some damages
-Fixed the bug where the trigger of “A Loyal Bannerman” did not work properly, gaining reputation didn’t count into progress
-Fixed the bug where the trigger of several seasonal week challenges and unit challenges did not work correctly in Deathmatches and training camp
-Fixed a bug where Warlords can complete some field and siege quests in training camp (AI) mode

1) Battle Technique
Before: Higher chance of inflicting extra effects.
After: Higher chance of inflicting extra effects when arrows hit enemies. (Poison them)
2) To the Bone
Before: Each level any target poisoned has their attack reduced by 5%
After: Each level decrease damage ability of poisoned enemies by 5%.
3) Underhandedness
Before: Target may take sustained poison damage.
After: Increase poison damage.
4) Marvellous Medicine
Before: Target may be slowed by attacks from this unit.
After: Slow the move-speed of poisoned enemies.
5) Venomous Toxins of rattan vipers
Before: "Poison effects can stack up to 5 times, Changes unit appearance."
After: "Poison effects can stack up to 5 stacks. Changes unit appearance."
6) Venomous Toxins of rattan pikemen
Before: Poison effects can now stack up to 3 times. Changes unit appearance.
