Dear Warlords, We will be conducting server maintenance during the period of 8 am to 10 am, 9th, Jan (UTC+8). The estimated maintenance time is approximately 2 hours. Warlords will receive 5,000 Bronze Coins and 200 Honour after the server maintenance. Here are the patch note:
1.Important Updates: Freedom Union VS Empire Guardian Civilization, conflict, war, the world is never tranquil with the invasion of Khan in the North and the turmoil in the East and West, and the city of hero is in danger…Will the Empire fall into chaos? Perhaps it’s the beginning of a brand new evolution. Throughout various regions of the open world, the imperial land were separated by Houses and Alliances. Under such circumstance, Warlords have to define their own fate.
1) Freedom Union -Follow the destiny? Take part in other Houses or build your own Houses? Crown yourself with the honor and glory while conquering the open world and creating your own destiny.
-Warlords who have already took part in Houses and Alliances will join [Freedom Union] by default. -Solo Warlords can choose to join [Freedom Union], existing Houses or create new houses in N interface
2) Empire Guardian -Defend the Empire? Vow to guard the dignity of the Imperial Legion and find peace for the open world?
-If Solo Warlords choose to take part in [Empire Guardian] of current region in N interface, they will be distributed in one battalion randomly. -Warlords who took part in [Empire Guardian] cannot quit within 7 days.
2.Optimizations to the Nobility Titles of Freedom Union
-optimized the distribution of Nobility Titles reward. The reward will be distributed at midnight every Monday. -Optimized the distribution rule of Nobility Titles, now the Liege can dub or remove other members’ nobility titles at any time. Each Warlord can only receive nobility titles from Liege once within 24 hours -The Influence of each House will be calculated at 22:30 pm at every Saturday. Nobility titles of other house members will be removed along with the change of Liege’s nobility titles. -New House Liege will directly get the nobility titles of old Liege -Warlords will be notified by in-game mail when receiving nobility titles
3.Map Balance Adjustments 1)Riverlands Castle (Siege) Based on the collected feedbacks and battlefield stats, currently the winning ratio of Attackers is much higher than we expected. Defenders are hard to conduct effective defense. Accordingly, we decided to make the following adjustments to rebalance the battlefield:
-Decreased the game duration from 13 minutes to 11 minutes -Adjusted the location of Siege Tower by moving it backward by 10 meters -Removed 2 Culverins and 2 Catapults of Attackers. Swapped 1 Ballista on defenders’ city wall with 1 Culverin -Decreased the total number of siege ladders at left city wall from 10 to 9 -Adjusted the location of defenders’ left supply point by moving it backward and closer to attackers’ ground
-Added another respawn point for defenders behind point A and point B. This respawn points is binding to Point B, which means it will remain active until defenders lost Points B.
-Adjusted the location of defenders’ supply point (as pictured). It is unable to be captured until the base camp being activated.
-Adjusted the location of supply point in defenders’ base camp by moving it inside the respawn area
-Adjusted the location of defenders’ base camp
2)Territory War Siege Map optimizations The inner castle structure has been adjusted to optimize the combat experience in the final area. This adjustment covers all cities using this type of map model, including Sobek, Acheron, Vaja, Burdost. -Rebuilt wall structure nearby final area to enable passage on top of the wall -Added a gate at one of the inner castle entrances, which can be destroyed by Warlords.
3)Frontier Camp (Siege) Based on the collected feedbacks and battlefield stats, currently the winning ratio of attackers is much lower than we expected. Accordingly, we decided to make the following adjustments to create more advantages for attackers. -Increased the game duration from 6 minutes to 7 minutes. -Decreased the flag-capturing time from 60 seconds to 45 seconds.
At the same time, two new 8V8 siege map are now available---The Storehouse and Lesser Greenpark Camp
4.Unit Formation Optimizations We made the following optimizations to improve the formation display and fix some operation issues. 1)Optimized the Line formation for the following pikemen units: Village Watchmen, Pike Militia, Prefecture Pikemen, Imperial Pike Guards, Black Dragon Pikemen 2) Optimized the Line formation for the following mounted bladesman and lancers units: Ironcap Scout Cavalry, Prefecture Heavy Cavalry, Dagger-Axe Lancers, Coutiliers, Yeomen, Monastic Knights, Cataphract Lancers. 3)Optimized the Wedge and Column formation for the following mounted bladesman and lancer units: Prefecture Heavy Cavalry, Yeomen, Fire Lance Cavalry, Rattan Rangers 4)Optimized the Schiltron formation for the following spearman units: Ironcap Spearmen, Imperial Spear Guard, Spear Sergeants, Black Dragon Spearmen 5)Optimized the Three Ranks formation for the following crossbowmen and arquebusiers units: Repeater Crossbowmen, Demesne Arbalists, Demesne Crossbowmen, Imperial Arquebusiers, Ironcap Arquebusiers, Demesne Arquebusiers, Kriegsrat Fusiliers, Sea Stag Deathdealers 6)Optimzied the Block formation for the following crossbowmen units: Demesne Arbalists, Demesne Crossbowmen 7)Optimized the shield formation of Imperial Javelineers 8)Optimized the hawk formation of Fire Lance Cavalry 9)Optimized the schiltron formation of Imperial Pike Guards
5.System Optimizations 1)Battlefield score optimizations -Warlords will get certain contribution score when they interrupt enemies capturing the flag and supply points in field battles -When one point under contest, Warlords inside the point trying to stop opponents capturing the flag will get certain contribution score. 2)Optimizations to Auxiliary units and Mercenary Auxiliary units and Mercenary have been moved to [Unit] interface (previously [War Scholar] interface) 3)Supply point interact optimization The interact process of supply point has been simplified, now units, weapons and mounts are displayed when Warlords pressing F to open the equipment interface. 4)Auxiliary units display logic optimization Now expired Auxiliary units will have sealed mark and will be placed after all other units. 5)Optimized the logic when Warlords right clicking the Signacula to unlock sealed Auxiliary units. 1.Important Updates: Map Adjustments 1)Riverlands Castle (siege) After reviewing Warlords’ feedbacks and checking background stats, we found that the winning ratio of attackers is higher than we expected. When the battle coming into the final area, Defenders are easy to be restrained and they have few ways to support the battlefield. At the same time, attackers are also easy to be squeezed into the two long steps heading to the inner city if they are not well organized. So we made the following adjustments:
a.Decreased the number of ladders against inner city walls. Added a new set of ladders connecting the outer city wall and inner city wall
b.Added flaming pitchs upon the stairs aisle of the inner city
c.Decreased the number of plant in the final area
d.Widened the platform on each side of defenders’ tower in the final area
e.Adjusted the location of defenders’ final supply point, making it easier to defend and harder to attack
f.Decreased the number of Trebuchets from 8 to 7
2)Border Fort (siege) Based on your feedbacks and battlefield stats, we found that the winning ratio of attackers is a little bit higher than we expected. Especially when defenders trying to support their base camp, they are easy to be blocked out of the final area since there don’t have other effective defending routes. So we adjusted the lateral passage structure nearby the base camp by adding a new stair to provide one more path for Defenders to get to the final area.
3)Frontier Camp (siege) a.Adjusted the player number from 8 (Attackers) vs 7 (Defenders) to 8 vs 8 b.Added 4 Trebuchets for Attackers to deal with the above-mentioned adjustment

In order to cope with the severe cold, the residents set up a stove, where you cancome to the side of the fire to warm up, my friends! The stove will apply [warm] BUFF to players and the unit which can help you to resist the cold and increase your speed of action!
What's more, both the trebuchet and the mortar cannon are used to load snowballs. Fire snow on your opponents!
When hit by a snowball trebuchet or mortar, a [cold] debuff is applied to reduce movement speed significantly in a short time. Unless you are very [warm] at this time!

5. Christmas Attires

As previously announced, the Season II: Wrath of the Nomads update is due to be released on Thursday 23th December.
(I) The New Season: Wrath of the Nomads: The Twilight of the Empire -Through the [F5 Season] button on the main interface, you can enter the main interface of the season; -Accumulate glory, you can level up your nobility; -Accumulate season XP, you can upgrade the season level. During the season, you can get 1000 glory for each season level you increased.
-Nobility can be level up by upgrading the season LV, participating in PVP matching battles, completing weekly challenge, using season item "Shaman’s Scroll" or "Khan’s Edict”; -On the [Reward] tab, you can view the progression of rewards and hero journey. According to the progression your nobility, you can get various rewards include season-themed cosmetic, special title of the season, and so on.
-Hero journey rewards are automatically unlocked as soon as Wrath of the Nomads is online. - The upper reward progression can be unlocked by purchase item “Holy Mountain’s Guidance” or “Holy’ Mountain’s Will”
II, New season store: -In the [F5 Season] interface, you can view the information through the [Season Store] tab; -In the season store, you can exchange cool stuffs by spend Fangs, the unique tokens of this season.
III. Weekly Challenge Tasks in the New Season Based on the feedback from warlords in the previous season, we have optimized the challenge types of weekly challenges, enriched more challenge types, including social networking, battlefield performance, participation in open-world games, and participation in daily activities. At the same time, try to make the task as engaged as possible, so that can more easily complete challenges and gain glory in the common game process
-S1 season offers a total of 10 weeks of challenges with 8 tasks per week. -Provide 2 refresh charges per week, you can change the tasks you don't like -Each challenge task provides a wealth of glory rewards, different difficulties, different rewards amount. -When completing the challenge of the week, you can get additional rewards according to the progress of the progression this week.
IV. Units Challenge 1. Unlock season unit Different from the previous units tree, the season units requires players to complete a series of challenge tasks. Once you complete all stage of a specific unit challenge, that unit is yours forever. Players can open the season [F5] interface and select the [Unit Challenge] tab to view the season Units challenges.
2. Rules of season units challenge: Units challenge opening timeline: -Tier 3 Units: as soon as S1 season is online - Tier 4 Units: 7 days after S1 season online - Tier 5 Units: 21 days after S1 season online
3. Preconditions of different units challenge tier: -Tier 3 Units: No preconditions, challenges are turned on by default -Tier 4 Units: After completing the challenges of any 2 of T3 units, start this challenge -Tier 5 Units: After completing any challenge of any T4 units, start the challenge
The T3 units Challenge has 2 stages, the T4 units challenge has 4 stages, and the T5 units Challenge has 9 stages. After completing all the stages in a single Units Challenge, players can unlock this season unit permanently
There are 8 challenge tasks in each stage. If you complete any 6 challenge tasks, the challenge in this stage is completed. In each stage, whenever a task is completed, you will get certain reward, including Fangs, units flags, units cosmetic, units kits and so on.
4. The Units challenges Quick Done After we the units challenge system for a period of time, the function of Quick Done will be released. You can quick-complete the units challenge task with sovereigns by using Quick Done function.
Opening time-line: -2 days after the Tier 3 Season units challenge opens -3 days after the Tier 4 Season units challenge opens. -5 days after the Tier 5 Season units challenge opens.-
V. Season Seal In order to let players have the same starting point at the beginning of the season, and relive the fun of the battle, we have added a season seal system (exception: Free Battles Mode): The units in [Heroic] and [Golden] era are sealed The attributes and sets effect of hero equipment are sealed. All data of sealed units and hero equipment stay unchanged during the sealed time period. The timeline below show when those sealed will be removed:
2 weeks after season launch, unseal all [Heroic era] units and all attributes on hero equipment 4 weeks after season launch, unseal all [Golden era] units and all sets effect on hero equipment.
VI. Open-World new content
NEW TERRITORY WAR CONTENT CONQUEROR’S CITY Conqueror’s City is located on a mountain in the middle of The Borderlands, waiting for real heroes to come and conquer.
It is composed of the inner city and four major gates.
Once the Conqueror’s City opens, when attacking, Houses must occupy any one of the gates first before they can attack the inner city.
CAMPAIGNS: Take part in new Territory War content by completing objectives for each Stage of the Campaign. You will be rewarded when completing specific tasks for your House.
Stage 1: The Baron’s War:
Conquer the fiefs in your region for the glory of your House.
Stage 2: Crossing Frontiers
Conquer a Border post to open the road into the Borderlands.
Stage 3: Heart of the World
Invade the Borderlands and conquer a fief for the glory of your House.
Stage 4: Conqueror’s Crown
To become world-conqueror, you must overcome the ultimate challenge and take over Conqueror’s City.
Stage 5: Imperial Dawn
Please note, if a Stage in the Campaign has ended, you cannot go back to that Stage to complete tasks and earn rewards. Stages duration is based on Season-Opening times.
LEGION ALLIANCE - NPC HOUSES: Solo Warlords rejoice, you will now be able to take part in Territory War content by joining up with 1 of the 4 allied NPC Houses in our new Legion Alliance system.
This feature will be available shortly after Season II’s launch. We will have a more indepth guide explaining this feature in the near future.
NOBILITY TITLE SYSTEM: Receive new player titles when you fight and capture fiefs on behalf of your House: your titles will even earn you weekly rewards! Rule of gaining nobility titles -When your House captures fiefs in any of the four regions, it earns a corresponding amount of Influence. According to your influence,members of the house can dub different nobility title -When your House captures fiefs in any of the four regions, it earns a corresponding amount of Influence. Conquering fiefs of the same type in the Borderlands can earn you double the amount of Influence. The higher the level of the fief, the greater its Influence. The influence gain will resolved as soon as a territory war period end. -After resolve,the nobility title of House Liege, at the same time,more nobility title for all house member. -Influence will be calculated every Saturday evening at 22:30, at which time rewards will be given out the following Monday before 21:59 -Your house will earn influence for occupying fiefs during territory wars. -Fiefs in the borderlands provide double influence. -The higher Lv that fief has, the more influence it will provide. -If house lose fiefs, that house will lose influence at the same time, that may cause decrease of the nobility title from both quantity and quality. -Who ever occupy the city of heroes , center of borderlands, that house will get the royal title of "Hegemon". -All nobility title will be reset once the season is over.

Dubbing Nobility Title All member of the house can press [N] to open [House] interface. Choose [Title] tab to view the details of nobility title information for your house.
Nobility title weekly reward Liege of the house can dub nobility title until the resolve on each Saturday night 22:30. As soon as nobility title is dubbed, the new knight will get nobility reward directly.
VIII. Major adjustments in the open-world The Borderlands adjustment Nysa: Nysa has been transformed into a village and, in turn, nearby resources have been painstakingly cultivated by the villagers, so that the road to the west of the plateau is now free of passes Karlsbach: the defenders of the city of heroes have converted Karlsbach on the eastern side of the great rift valley into a pass and built a corresponding wall Sobek: Sobek has been transformed into a city and the surrounding walls have been torn down. Travel from Chenau will now be unimpeded Acheron: Acheron has been transformed into a city where people who pass through the desert to the chaos will be able to go straight north to the heritage plain
Jastor and Tulapan: during the fierce war, Jastor and Tulapan were completely destroyed, leaving only the ruins left by the war. Fortunately, the archaeology team immediately set out and kept many precious records in the midst of the war. In the near future, the archaeology team will reproduce these destroyed cities in the form of historical records
Unaaagverija adjustment Bourdourst and tigner: the people of Unaaagverija converted Ratot Var and Vaja into cities and removed the surrounding walls.
The rubble north of Keleti Csarda has now been cleared .
IX. TERRITORY WAR ADJUSTMENTS 1.BATTLE LINES: The number of battle lines for Cities has been adjusted from 2 to 1. The number of battle lines for Forts has been adjusted from 3 to 1. 2. WAR RULES: After Territory War, you no longer need to declare war to enter the battle, but you still need to be in a House to open the battlefield.
XI. Level Balancing 1.Level adjustment We improve the play experience and level arranging of the intro-part of the game, for players who are new to Conqueror’s Blade, now you should have more fun in the early part. a.Weapon Training -We added the mounting training part into this training quest. b.Units Control Training: -We changed the units that you are using in this level, now you will use Iconcap Swordsmen and Demense Spearmen to train. c.Unit Train Squad (Main city): -we added range attack training with Ironcap Archers,and anti-cavalry training with Pike Militia

VIII novice guidance adjustment

Emerald River
Introduction to Map Tactics
The whole map is surrounded by mountains and divided by central rivers, forming a three-way confrontation structure with different features.
The upper road (point A) is a dam, located at the highest point of the upper reaches of the river; the middle road (point B) is a wide pontoon bridge, located at the central river; the lower road (point C) is a tidal flat with small amount of water, located at the lowest reaches of the river. The road is connected to the middle road by a winding stone staircase with a suspension bridge halfway up the hill. The middle and lower routes are connected by paths on both sides of the river, with a small narrow bridge between them.
The whole map is rich in heights. On the upper road (point A), players on one side can use the winding stone ladder to quickly support upper the road and the middle road, while the other side can attack the stronghold on the opposite road (point A) by crossing the bridge halfway up the mountain.
The middle road (point B) is wide and the two sides around the middle road can use cavalry to charge each other. In addition, the roads leading to the pontoon bridge on both sides are on higher ground, so the range units can also support the combat. The central pontoon bridge can also be a good defensive point for melee units.
The lower road (point C) is relatively flat. The side with the the flag (point C) is a high slope, and the other side is a tidal flat with a small amount of water. The high slope can be protected from long range and close combat units.
Riverlands Castle
Introduction to map tactics
Compared with other siege maps, the overall area scope of Riverlands Castle is not that huge, but it has a distinct sense of height hierarchy. Conflicts on this map are more concentrated than other siege map.
The large flat area of Point A, connected to the side/front walls, the area and the wall of the city formed a distinct "concave" glyph structure. When the battle begins, attackers can attack from front/side walls or the gates. After the attack on the wall, attackers can choose to rely on the height advantage of wall area, to attack the defending team inside the "concave" glyph, also can choose a surprise assault path, claiming the B point flag and its highland area that are connected to the wall, in order to siege defenders who are defending Point A.
In the other hand, the defending team needs to make full use of the structure advantage, mobilize units at the right time and block the attacking force in the two areas.
After taking the flag A of the city gate or the flag B of the high ground, the attackers can begin to attack the castle at a higher elevation. The Flag c of the castle is in a square garden. An attacker can attack the castle from one entrance on the front, or from another entrance on the far side. In addition, in the high wall between the two entrances, you can choose to use the ladder to raid.
Defenders can use the advantage of high castle structure to defend, but because the square is located in a more open place, defenders need to pay attention to the attack of the trebuchet, using the square to hide, and waiting for the opportunity to make the counterattack.

Located on the precipitous mountain cliffs, dueling cliff was once one of the most important strategic points of the Great Wall to defend against foreign enemies. A few years ago, a mysterious organization used this place as a testing ground for warriors. It was said that only the strongest warriors could survive from this test.
Introduction to map tactics
This cliff duel use deathmatch mode, which that all warrior can only rely on their weapons instead of units. The map is located on a precipitous cliff, and when fighting on the edge of the cliff and the mountains connecting the cliffs, extra care should be taken to avoid falling to pieces. In addition, there are artilleries and explosion kegs in the map, so players on both sides can use these elements to make more diversified combat tactics.
In the center of the battlefield stands the ruins of a beacon tower, which is the commanding point of the whole map. The artillery erected on the top of the monument can suppress most areas of the map and the enemies who try to attack this point.
In addition, you can also choose to pass through the hanging bridge of the edge cliff and the giant wood from both sides of the map to make a roundabout attack on other areas of the map. But in the course of an offensive battle, caution is needed to avoid falling off from the cliff.
There is a cannon located on the two side of the volley rock, which can pose a certain threat to the artillery on the ruins and the enemy encircled by the edge. Controlling this place can effectively balance the enemy gathered in the central area, and waiting for an opportunity to launch a surprise attack from enemy's rear.

1、Important feature: Doctrines Bag We knew that too many doctrines in your inventory would inevitably occupy your rooms and become a pain in the ass. So we make this new Doctrines Bag system to free your inventory. All doctrines will be stored in the Doctrines Bag, instead of your inventory or personal storage.
All doctrines that you currently have, will be moved into your Doctrines Bag, you can view all unequipped doctrine inside of this interface.
When you enter the game and open your inventory, all of your unequipped doctrines will be moved into your doctrines bag.

Low Piercing Armour Penetration and low attack speed restrict its performence,so we made these improvement: Viper Bowmen : Attack Speed improved 15% Viper Bowmen: Piercing Armour Penetration improved 20%
Repeater Crossbowmen Repeater Crossbowmen are not performing well without veterancy bonuses,so we made this improvement: Repeater Crossbowmen can shoot poison arrows at 25% without veterancy bonuse.
Vassal Longbowmen Though they have long attack range, but poor firing accuracy limit their performance, so we made this improvement: Vassal Longbowmen : Firing Accuracy improved 20%
Fire Lance Cavalry Their melee attack are superior, we also want to see their range attack ability shine, so we made this improvement: Fire Lance Cavalry will shoot bullets during their normal melee attack, with 20s colddown
Javelin Sergeants No longer ungroup after throw javelins.
Tercio Arquebusiers Improve their AI, no longer tend to melee attack enemies with their graceful sword even though enemies are still quite far from them.

1.Map Adjustments 1)Dasuo Fort After reviewing your feedbacks and having internal tests, we found that Dasuo Fort was still imbalanced with relatively low win ratio of attackers. It was hard for them to capture Point B and C after taking control of Point A. We’re guessing that it is caused by the following reasons:
a)Complex internal layout of Dasuo Fort b)After attackers capturing Point A, there was only one route for them to get to the nearest supply point. They will suffer a huge loss attacking this supply point even with the help of several ranged units. c)It was hard for them to continuously attack Point B and C without taking over the supply point.
So we made the following adjustments: Added a stairs at the starting point of city wall, making it easier for Warlords to get to the supply point. Warlords who capture the city wall in advance may have a better chance to take over the supply point then quickly support the battles between Point A and Point B.
2)Allenburg After reviewing your feedbacks and having internal tests, we found that there were two main issues when attackers trying to capture Point B: a)Stairs were too narrow for attacking b)Attackers have few attacking routes when attacking Point B
We made the following adjustments accordingly: a)Widened the stairs from city wall to Point B b)Added a new attacking route connecting the city wall.
c)Added a stair and a set of ladders on the northeastern side of internal castle’s city wall.
d)Widened the stairs from city wall to Point A
2.Unit Balance Adjustment: Imperial Pike Guards Imperial Pike Guards were underperforming on the battlefield due to the fact that they couldn’t effectively restrain high-tier cavalry units with relatively low damage. So we made the following adjustments:
1)The advancing of Imperial Pike Guards have damage bonus. They will cause more damage when advancing into relatively low move speed units. Greater speed difference will bring higher damage. 2)The advancing of Imperial Pike Guards now have extra damage to charging units. 3)Health growth for each level was increased by 42 points.
3.Artillery Balance Adjustments Currently, large artillery (Trebuchet, Battering ram and Siege tower) would receive too high damage from Culverin (higher than eastern Cannon), resulting in attackers couldn’t take advantage of these large artillery in some western maps. So we made the following adjustments:
Decreased the Culverin’s damage dealt to large artillery (Trebuchet, Battering ram and Siege tower), city gate and city wall, similar to the damage of Cannon with same-quality. (The damage dealt to heroes, units and small artillery will remain unchanged.)
Besides that, added a notification when the artillery being pushing forward. If Warlords click on an artillery that has already been used, there will be a notification icon showing that it is unavailable now.
