Last night, our designer team launched a live streaming to answer questions and share new contents about S1, including design concept, NEW Steppe units and NEW gameplay for territory war. Besides that, they also shared an information that directly related to Season Eve:
Season Eve will be extended by two weeks, officially end at 24:00 Sunday, November 17. The Season Eve settlement for Territory War will be adjusted accordingly.
This adjustment was made to ensure your game experience. Warlords can: 1) Have more time to complete seasonal challenges and get more seasonal rewards We are preparing to design more seasonal challenges for the extra two weeks. Warlords will have more fun in Conqueror's Blade: Frontier while experiencing more interesting challenges.
We also hope Warlords can get higher income and more rewards during Season Eve, including many attire rewards such as Righteous King, Bochasos and Falcon Order, etc.
2) Fight for the seasonal settlement We believe that many Warlords have been engaging in numerous battles for the territory war seasonal settlement. We hope every House can have enough time to fight for titles and more rewards during seasonal settlement.
Dear Warlords: We will be conducting server maintenance during the period of 6 am to 8 am, 17th, Oct (UTC+8). The estimated maintenance time is approximately 2 hours. Here is the patch note:
1.Unit Balances: Prefecture Archers Adjustments We have already shared our thoughts of adjusting the Prefecture Archers unit. Our adjustments are as follows:
a)The “A Hundred Paces” (Each level increases shooting range by 6%) will be replaced by “Mustering” (Each level add 1 more soldier to the unit). b)Adjusted the maximum shooting range to 87m.
Reasons: This unit has strong explosive power to attack enemies when using arrow rain, which is in line with our design. But we realized that its maximum shooting range as 96m is higher than other same level units, making it easier to find better attacking position and produce high damage beyond the shooting range of enemy ranged units. The Prefecture Archers is supposed to be a unit of archers good at quick shooting rather than a Gatling or Katyusha rocket launcher. We also don’t want this situation that other same era units totally get suppressed by the Prefecture Archers.
A “Unit Training Plan” reward will be mailed to Warlords who already unlock the Prefecture Archers, allowing them to reset veterancy points.
2.Optimizations to the rights of Ruling House The commander system was designed to neutralize the influence by malicious and passive battles. But some players use this rule to declare war on themselves and maliciously kick everyone else out of the battlefield after randomly being assigned as commander. In order to deal with malicious kicking issues, we made the following adjustments:
a)Warlords whose participation ranking in first two-thirds couldn’t be kicked out b)Warlords engaging in the battlefield less than 2 minutes couldn’t be kicked out.
3.Limited-time Seasonal XP Bonus In order to make it easier for Warlords to upgrade with more glory, we offer 1.5 times Seasonal XP bonus for matched battles. Available: 12:00-14:00; 18:00-20:00, October 21- October 23
4. Purchase Limit Adjustments We made the following adjustments to the purchase limit of "Letter of the First King": Adjusted the purchase limit from "5 pieces per day" to "35 pieces per week".
5.Auction House Guidance Prices Adjustment After checking the trading data, we found that the guidance price of some hero forging and schematics were lower than the market expected. 6.Bug Fixes 1.Important Fixes a)Fixed the abnormally intensive anti-cavalry formation of Pike Militia. This unit couldn’t use brace weapons during charging. b)Fixed the stretched model issue of Pike Militia, Javelin Militia, Ironcap Swordsmen and Ironcap Bowriders after their appearance being changed by unit training. c)Fixed a bug when Archer units staying close to the city wall, they could shoot through it.
2.Unit Bug Fixes a)Fixed the wrong description of Thick Armour and Razor-Sharp of Winged Hussars. The description of thick armour should be “Each level increases all defence by 2%”, razor-sharp should be “Each level increases slashing damage by 5%”. b)Fixed a bug that the “Move as One” of Winged Hussars was inoperative. c)Fixed a bug that the “Rudimentary Medicine” of Javelin Sergeants was inoperative. d)Fixed a bug that the “Second Wind” of Rattan Swordsmen” couldn’t come into effect correctly. Now each level of this node can reduce CD by 10s. e)Fixed a bug that the “Reinforced Bows” of Ironcap Archers couldn’t increase the shooting range. f)Fixed a bug that the first two level of “Marching Drill” of Vanguard Archers were inoperative. g)Fixed a bug that sometimes the Legendary Javelin DoctrineⅠcould invalidate the knock down and throw javelin skills. h)Fixed a bug that the unit was unable to enter battle after their status reducing to 20 or 21. i)Fixed a bug that the character still maintained their in-game posture after being killed.
3.Miscellaneous Bugs a)Fixed a bug that Dual Blade heroes couldn’t use the “Alchemical Vapours” and “Infiltrator” in defending status. b)Fixed a bug that sometimes heroes could be sent to wrong location when they staying in some Western forts. c)Fixed the background music loss of “Surrounded in White Elk” PVE activity. d)Fixed a bug that sometimes random epic artillery chest for Warlords whose nobility reaching level 90 had the incorrect items. e)Fixed the incorrect display when clicking the border posts of current region in open world map. f)Fixed a bug when the personal storage is full, some item may disappear when being transferred. g)Fixed the abnormal countdown display when the resource site is about to refresh less than 1 minute.
7.Description and visual effect optimizations a)Optimized the reminder description when some Warlords leaving the territory war. b)Optimized the description of “Strong Strikes” of Fire Lance Cavalry. Now the description should be: Level 1 can stun enemy units. Level 2 can stun enemy heroes. c)Optimized the explosion visual effect with better resolution for the “Liquid Fire” of Musket heroes d)Optimized the sound effect of mount display in market and character interface. e)Optimized the display of attack/defend targets in the bottom right of the open world map. Added hightlight effect when hovering over the mouse and the icon showing battle status.

Liangyun is located in southwest, full of miasma and rattans. The ancients used special techniques to weave lightweight and durable rattan armour. This armour is good at defending against melee weapons but vulnerable to fire attacks. The rattan armour unit has existed for a long time since the Southgale Archon been established in Liangyun.
2. History
The magistrate of Southgale Archon was very temperamental, inflicting severe punishment to soldiers and taking pleasure in numerous wars. Fifteen years ago, the rattan armour unit leader broke the magistrate’s order of fighting against Farmount Cavern after consideration about the terrible residents’ livelihood and unit condition. There were five parts in rattan armour unit: Rattan swordsmen, Repeater crossbowmen, Rattan pikemen, viper bowmen and mounted crossbow cavalry. In order to pursue peace with the Farmount Cavern, the magistrate was forced to dissolve the rattan armour units, kill main unit leaders and send his son Yenbo as a hostage.
Five years later, Yenbo escaped from the Farmount Cavern. The magistrate temporarily rallied rattan armour unit with 5,000 soldiers to help his son get back home. The rattan armour unit met Yenbo in Warrior plateau. An escort unit were organized to send Yenbo home and others got ready to fight against 30,000 enemies. Rattan swordsmen hold the shortsword & shield to defend at the frontline. Repeater crossbowmen deployed their crossbow to keep enemies away. Rattan pikemen and viper bowmen used poison lance and arrow to produce huge damage. There were only 2,000 rattan armour soldiers left on the battlefield after several hours. Then the mounted crossbow cavalry engaged in the battle and defeated a great number of enemies. At last, remaining units burnt their rattan armours and died with all enemies. The blaze was lasting for the whole night.
Finally Yenbo safely arrived. The escort unit and other soldiers once served in the rattan armour unit agreed to hide in deep mountains because they already fulfilled their loyalty to the magistrate but would never forget his betrayal. Rattan armour unit has disappeared…
Ten years later, Liangyun Governor took hundreds of Yenbo’s family as hostage forcing the magistrate to conquer Maoyang. Given that desperate situation, the magistrate decided to ask rattan armour unit for help by sacrificing himself as a sincere apology. In few months, rattan armour units with 100,000 soldiers got back to the battlefield, following Yenbo to conquer Zaifu and desert fortress in Maoyang, which called “Blazing Rattan Armour”

2). Rattan pikemen
Recruited from Bozhou, this unit used poison lance to reduce enemy’s attack speed and damage. The rattan armour had huge advantage during melee fight. This unit has been specially trained to form up defending the Calvary. Formation: scatter formation Size: 28 Leadership: 115
3). Viper bowmen
Their arrows are tipped with poison that can reduce enemy’s attack speed and produce higher damage. The arrow itself produce lower armour penetration and damage. But this unit often get panic and freak out due to the fear of fire attack. Formation: scatter formation/ bull horns Skill: focused fire Size: 32 Leadership: 195
4). Repeater crossbowmen
This unit are wearing lightweight rattan armour, which have better piercing and slashing defence. They have to load several arrows for 3s-5s then shoot them all at a time, producing high explosive damage. They are vulnerable to fire attacks, bad at melee fight and very effective for enemies with light armour. Formation:scatter formation/ Three ranks Skill: Attack Area Size: 28 Leadership: 180
5). Mounted crossbow cavalry
This unit is very effective during both melee and ranged fight. Their crossbow has lower armour penetration, more effective when fighting against light armour unit. During melee fight, their sword has higher armour penetration and damage. This unit is specially trained to use focus fire in V-formation and ambush in Arrowhead formation. After full consideration to your feedbacks and suggestions, we decided to make relevant adjustments to lower down the level requirement of three legendary rewards:
-Legendary unit attire: Falcon Order---level 100 to level 65; -Legendary mount attire: Bochasos---level 150 to level 80; -Legendary hero attire: Righteous King ---level 200 to level 100.
Correspondingly,we adjust the reward of level 150 and level 200: -The reward of level 150: 80 conquest tokens and 1 Treatise. -The reward of level 200: 100 conquest tokens and 1 Treatise.
2.Bug fixes
Fixed a bug that abnormal count in the part of weekly challenges.
Dear warloads: We received many feedbacks from Warlords since battle pass officially been launched yesterday. Our developer team spent a whole night to discuss and rethink our design. We should admit that we made a serious mistake on Battle Pass design.
At the beginning, the upper limit of nobility is level 50. Warlords could get core rewards including Stygian Order hero attire and Stygian Order set mount attire within level 50. The Righteous King hero attire and Bochasos mount attire were designed to be randomly droppable in the exchangeable seasonal attire chest.
After the initial design came out, we realized that no rewards after level 50 might result in a lack of incentive for Warlords to join battles. According to the background database, we added extra 150 levels and conquest tokens allowing Warlords to exchange extra Seasonal rewards.
At the last internal discussion before the update, we decided to offer legendary attires as lucky rewards for Warlords reaching the upper limit of nobility, motivating them to join more battles and activities. So we just distributed three legendary rewards from level 50 to level 200.
But it turned out this design was inappropriate causing huge burden and pressure for many Warlords, which not in line with our initial intention.
It's hard to face the reality but we didn't have other choices.
After full consideration to your feedbacks and suggestions, we decided to make relevant adjustments to lower down the level requirement of three legendary rewards:
Legendary unit attire: Falcon Order---level 100 to level 65 Legendary mount attire: Bochasos---level 150 to level 80 Legendary hero attire: Righteous King ---level 200 to level 100 Warlords reaching level 100 still can get extra conquest tokens to exchange other rewards in Seasonal store.
We will complete the routine update this Thursday and will not have any impact on your current rewards. At the same time, we are optimizing the weekly challenges of Season Eve. We're trying to make it before the second update in October.
Last but not least, our developer team have to apologize again for this inappropriate design and sincerely thank all Warlords for giving your feedbacks and suggestions.
We witnessed the "grand opening" in the world of Conqueror's Blade : Frontier after the server maintenance is completed.
Some Warlords already got the Stygian order hero attire reward while others started to join siege battles to accomplish weekly challenges. Besides that, some Warlords even made plans to quickly get battle pass rewards and upgrade nobility.
But Season Eve is just a warm up activity lasting for five weeks. As for Seasonal XP, we already prepared other activities far beyond battle match-making and weekly challenges.

Please noted: ---Battle Pass: 680 sovereigns; Classics of the First King: 1,280 sovereigns ---Warlords with battle pass can level up to Classics of the First King anytime with 600 sovereigns and get 100,000 glory at once.

Maybe you can get the secrets of rattan armour from your prisoners.
This activity will be available with time limit after the update. Join us to fight!

4. Hero balance adjustments 1). Arrow Unit: Demesne Arbalists: Increased the maximum shooting range from 70m to 80m Decreased the damage and armour penetration effect of maximum shooting range from 75% to 65% Increased the damage and armour penetration loss. Increased the maximum shooting range of Demesne Crossbowmen from 70m to 80m

Javelineers All Javelineers could't use other Spear skills during the cooldown of one Spear skill Imperial Javelineers could stay in shield formation while use Throw Javelin Increased the piercing damage of Demesne Javelineers by 90 Increased the piercing damage of Javelin Militia by 37 Increased the piercing damage of Javelin Sergeants by 102
3). fireproofing tag We added fireproofing tag for these units, making them immune to the fire burning and control effect. Palace Guards, Iron Reapers, Imperial Spear Guards, Imperial Javelineers, Javelin Sergeants, Imperial Pike Guards, Halberdier Sergeants, Kriegsrat Fusiliers, Tercel Arquebusiers, Prefecture Heavy Cavalry, Winged Hussars, Cataphract Laners and Fire Lance Cavalry.
4). Dagger-Axe Lancers and Yeomen Adjusted the higher block break effect to ignore the defend Increased the armour penetration by 30% when charge reaching high speed Added 30% extra armour penetration effect to the ordinary attack when Dagger-Axe move in relatively higher speed Added 10% extra armour penetration effect to the ordinary attack when Dagger-Axe move in relatively lower speed Added 50% extra armour penetration effect to the ordinary attack when Yeomen move in relatively higher speed.
5). Palace Guards Increased the Probability of Shield Bash by 13%
6). Archer unit When conducting "attack area", if there are enemies nearby within 15m, archers will first attack them. Otherwise they will keep shooting enemies in the designated area.
5. Doctrine description adjustments Optimized the description of "Armourer's Doctrine" into " the Unit kit remain unchanged, but the mount would be lost. "
6. Level balance adjustments and frame optimizations Deathmatch: Training Yard optimizations 1). Adjusted the layout nearby the spawn area of defenders and attackers. Added a side path to connect with the battlefield,
2). Made lots of frame optimizations to restore a real Training Yard.
7. House system optimizations and adjustments 1). Added “officials appointed” in the house homepage Now you can right click at one House member and choose “officials appointed” to appoint certain House position.
2). Liege transfer system optimizations Transfer system cooldown: the Liege can only be transferred once in seven days. Transfer system rules: the new Liege already joined the House for more than seven days and reaching level 40
8. System and visual effect optimizations 1). Optimized the visual effect of the fire and burst effect when Hwacha Arrow Launcher hit the target. Before After
2). Optimized the visual effect of the incoming cannonball in PVE level
3). Optimized the name of siege engines in same quality/ color Orange siege engines: unified the suffix as Legendary 4). Optimized the tooltip animation for forts under attacking 5). Due to system upgrade, the New Identity Document couldn't be used since relevant function have been closed. 7). After unremitting efforts for several months, we will present Rattan Armour Unit to you in early October.
But you have to fight against this unit before you own it. Starting from September 30, they will attack the Dune Fort. Please rally your units to defeat them and capture their equipments, making preparations for future recruitment.
