1.Mercenaries unit recruit
During past two months, Warlords from different regions in Conqueror's Blade: Frontier were super active in the market, making silver coins become the hard currency in the game. Now the recruit for Mercenary of Commander Adler in Boderlands also will be available in the market. As the best elite mercenaries unit, Mercenary of Commander Adler also have a relatively higher price.
Now Warlords can use silver coins to recruit mercenaries unit in War Scholar.
Relevant prices are as follows:
---Black Dragon Arches: 250,000 silver coins
---Black Dragon Javelineers:400,000 silver coins
---Sea Stag Deathdealers: 400,000 silver coins
---Black Dragon Pikemen: 700,000 silver coins
---Black Dragon Spearmen: 700,000 silver coins





2.Important updates: Expansion material for personal storage
Many Warlords have told us that personal storage didn't have enough space. This time we add expansion function to personal storage. One expansion material will increase eight slots.
---You chan check out the residue space in the upper right of personal storage and click "+" to expand it.
---Expansion material of personal storage will be available in the market and Apothecary, the price is 1,000 sovereigns / 200,000 silver coins. We offer 50% discount only lasting for 14 days and each Warlord can only buy 2 expansion materials at most.
---The personal storage only allowed to be expanded for nine times at most. You can sell spare expansion materials to other Warlords in the market.



3.Important bug fixes:
---Fixed the bug that Pikemen unit moved too slowly when they crashed with each other.
---Fixed the bug that Pikemen unit couldn’t form up quickly.

4.Unit balances
1) Halberdiers unit in Phalanx formation
Fixed the incorrect description of damage effect in Phalanx formation, actually it should be "intensive weapons" rather than "bracing weapons"
Bracing weapons:quickly respond, good at fighting against the cavalry strike
Intensive weapons:can be used after formation completed, slower than bracing weapon. Back row troops can cause extremely high damage and good at defending.

2) Imperial Archers:
Many Warlords have told us that the shoot range and damage of the Imperial Archers couldn't reach their expectations. We also noticed that the win rate and utilization rate of this unit was slightly lower than other units of Heroic Era. The design concept of this unit was to utilize bodkin arrows to break the heavy armor while losing some shoot speed and damage. But we found that it's damage has been greatly decreased after breaking the heavy armor. Our adjustments are as follows:
---Increased the shoot speed of Bodkin Arrows by 25%
---Increased the damage of Bodkin Arrows by 12.5%

5.Territory war optimization
Made optimization to the regional layout in Helie, Yuanxin and Louge, etc
1)Opened a gate on the left side of Commander’s House behind defender’s camp flag and added relevant internal accesses to increase the defend path heading to the final flag.



2)Added a small-scale training yard on the right side of defender’s camp flag to allow Warlords have more choices to defend or attack the final flag.



3)Widened the access alongside the wall of the Main gate.



6.System optimization
1) Added the resources collecting process, you can check it in the unit technology interface.



2) Now Warlords can check badges achieved during the battle in the group settlement interface.



3) Now Warlords can report other player in the settlement interface by right click on the character name and then click the report button

7.Bug fixes
1)Hero bug fixes
Fixed a bug that when Warlords used several skills to change one certain attribute, the attribute can only be influenced once.

Fixed a bug that sometimes the volley fire couldn’t shoot
Fixed a bug that the Three-stage training will decrease the defence
Fixed a bug that the Corned gunpowder and Three-stage training will also have effect to normal attack

Fixed a bug that the Imperial Spear Guards can equip the Epic Spear Doctrine V and the Legendary Healing Doctrine
Fixed a bug that the stun immune effect of Tough Nut couldn't come into effect

Fixed the incorrect description of Bodkin Arrows
Fixed a bug that the Heavy Arrow Training couldn’t come into effect

Hi Warlords,

Several weeks ago, we have noticed that some fiefs could be captured in the early morning. Then we made an announcement about the ownership and later occupation of fiefs after their house no longer exist. We thought it would be in line with your expectations to adjust the capture time for these fiefs.

Now the NPC house will take over the fief automatically after the house been dissolved. Other houses need to make declaration and then conduct attack in the territory war before capturing these fiefs.

We would like to apologize for this late announcement. We always try our best to share adjustments and fixes to all Warlords in time.

We noticed that many Warlords had bad game experience due to some serious bugs in our last version that we updated yesterday.

Here are the bug fixes:

1.“Pirates are attacking!” will be available at 12:00---24:00, earlier than we mentioned in our last patch note. Have Fun!

2.Fixed the incorrect damage to some western siege engines
We noticed that the Culverin couldn’t be broken in western siege battles, this bug has already been fixed on Sep. 12.

3.Epic Mission
1)Added the reminder for health status
Added the reminder when the health of protected objective were 75%, 50% and 25%. You can check the health status at the right taskbar. Health (>75%), minor injury (>50%,≤75%), serious injury (>25%,≤50%), Dying (≤25%)

2)Fixed a bug that enemy didn’t retreat to their own camp after the Epic Mission was finished.

3)Fixed a bug that when commander Yangwen retreated from the battlefield, the unit of his alliance didn’t follow him.

4.Fixed a bug that Warlords couldn’t complete “ the secrets of the past”.

5.Fixed a bug that in our “community packs” page, the local folder appeared after Warlords click on the community UI.

6.Fixed a bug that conducting normal match-making could complete the Epic Mission.

7.Fixed a bug that in Hidden City siege battle, sometimes Warlords were judged as passive fight after been crashed when breaking one of the machine.

8.Fixed a bug that after completed the “Pirates are attacking” mission for the first time, sometimes Warlords couldn’t get the “Scout”achievement.

9.Fixed the incorrect color of Warlord’s title
The color of Warlord’s title has been restored to orange.

1. Important updates: Catch-up Mechanism
This Catch-up mechanism is designed to help the new Warlords to catch up the veteran Warlords. These potential Warlords will get more Bronze Coins, Unit XP, Honour and bonus of Honour cap.
Warlords under level 60 can get a buff. Warlords with this buff will get extra 50% Bronze Coins, Unit XP, Honour and bonus of Honour cap during match-making mode.
Besides that, this buff also offer Warlords with 50% bonus to weekly honour cap. New Warlords will have 30,000 honor cap per week. This buff will last for a whole week even you reached level 60 before this week ends.

2. Important updates: Epic Mission Activity---"Fight with The Prefecture Guards"
We will official launch our Epic Mission Activity tomorrow on SEA server. With the “The Prefecture Guards” as the main subject, we will bring you many wonderful activities for three weeks. Now let me introduce three activities in the first week:

Rewards for Mid-Autumn Festival
Get rewards from daily sign in after log in on Sep 13. Treatises and Bronze Coins and other rewards will be mailed to you in the next three days.

Epic Mission Activity
Enemy commander is conducting a surprise attack! Join the Sword Militia and Ironcap Swordsmen to fight against the pirates!
Available: 18:00-24:00, Sep. 12-Sep. 19
Rewards: Exclusive achievements, Uncommon Schematics of your choice, New unit Attire

Collect Battle Information for Rewards
During Sep. 12 to Sep. 19, Warlords will have chance to get “Battle Information” after engaging in field battle, siege battle and activities. You can exchange for limited titles, treatises and forging materials in the activities interface.



3. Important updates: Added Retrieve System for Weekly Quest Rewards
We added the retrieve system for weekly quest rewards in order to decrease your burden and let you have more time to experience our game. But we found that there are some problems in this system, now we have to take it back and make adjustments to ensure your game experience.
The official establishment of this retrieve system for weekly quest rewards will be postponed to Sep 16. You can check the weekly quests retrieve from the rewards in our activity interface.
Use the weekly quests retrieve to complete the unfinished mission last week, Warlords will get relevant XP, chest and rewards for your activeness (the degree of activeness can accumulated from last week)
The retrieve system have two types as normal retrieve and perfect retrieve. Normal retrieve cost Bronze Coins while Perfect retrieve cost sovereigns.
After using certain coin to retrieve one quest, Warlords couldn’t retrieve that quest again with different kind of coins.



4. Important Fixes:
1). In our last patch note, we added seven resources points for Borderland, but we found that these resources couldn't refresh after the resources are exhausted. This problem has already been fixed.
2). After unlocking the "Solidity" and "Change Flags", Pike Militia unit now will only have stun effect to units rather than Warlords.
3). We have fixed a bug that the Life Drain buff didn't come into effect and we can guarantee that the efficiency is about 20% after stacked to 5 levels.

5.Hero balances
1). Spear:
Hurricane's Edge:
-Increased the basic damage bonus from 183 to 214 for the first stage of all levels.
-Increased the extra damage bonus from 1627 to 1898 for the first stage of Hurricane's EdgeⅠ
-Increased the extra damage bonus from 2001 to 2335 for the first stage of Hurricane's Edge Ⅱ
-Increased the extra damage bonus from 2392 to 2790 for the first stage of Hurricane's Edge Ⅲ
-Increased the basic damage bonus from 81 to 102 for the second stage of Hurricane's Edge Ⅱ & Ⅲ
-Increased the extra damage bonus from 2001 to 2335 for the second stage of Hurricane's Edge Ⅱ
-Increased the extra damage bonus from 2392 to 2790 for the second stage of Hurricane's Edge Ⅲ
Gungnir's Greeting:
-Increased the basic damage bonus from 122 to 153 for the second stage of level Ⅱ & Ⅲ
-Increased the extra damage bonus from 1490 to 1863 for the second stage of Gungnir's Greeting Ⅱ;
-Increased the extra damage bonus from 1802 to 2253 for the second stage of Gungnir's Greeting Ⅲ

2). Musket:
The stun effect towards enemy Warlords cause more damage than we thought during ranged shoot. So we decreased the farthest shoot range by left click from 25m to 16m

3). Bow:
Increased the damage loss (80 meters away) from 10% to 30% when left click to shoot and Ignite.

4). Glaive:
Extended the lasting time of concussed from 1s to 1.5s caused by Warlord's Greeting

5). Increased the mastery point income for Glaive, Nodachi and Poleaxe after kill enemy in a battle.

6. Unit balance:
1). Arquebusier:
Greatly increased the accuracy when Demesne Arquebusiers conducting free attack.
Greatly increased the shoot accuracy of volley fire by Imperial Arquebusiers, adjusted the lasting time of volley fire from 40s to 30s.
Slightly decreased the accuracy of Ironcap Arquebusiers and Kriegsrat Fusiliers.

2). Iron Reapers:
Increased all defense by 200
The attack of Iron Reapers with sword are attached with stun effect, the attack with flail can break the defense
Iron Reapers wouldn't been stunned by normal attack

3). Javelin Infantry:
Javelin Infantry can only use directional throw skill when there are enemies inside the attack range.

7. System Optimization
Optimized the operation experience when Warlords leaving the city; Deleted the hint for taking or removing the unit.



8.Bug Fixes:
1)Unit Bug Fixes:
-Fixed the inaccurate description of “Archer’s Insights” of The Prefecture Guards, and adjusted it into "each level will increase 4% slashing armour penetration of The Prefecture Guards.
-Fixed a bug that after “Improved Chainmail” of the Kriegsrat Fusiliers reached over level 4, the previous three level will be disabled
-Fixed a bug that the “Balanced Lances” of Yeomen didn't come into effect.
-Fixed a bug that the quick cooldown, rudimentary sights and alloyed bullets of Imperial Arquebusiers didn't come into effect.
Adjusted the description of fierce strikes of Palace Guards and strong strikes of Imperial Javelineers.
-Fixed a bug that the unit flag will cover the view of Warlords at close range.

2)Hero bug fixes
-Fixed a bug that the Warlords with Shortsword & Shield couldn't knock the enemy into the air after roll backward and charge
-Fixed a bug that the Shield Charge of Shortsword & Shield sometimes couldn't stop after knocking down the enemy
-Fixed a bug that female Warlord with Shortsword & Shield sometimes couldn't conduct the second stage of Shield Charge
-Fixed a bug that the combat dismount of spear couldn't correctly stun the enemy.
-Fixed a bug that Warlords with Longsword & Shield sometimes couldn't stop the defense while fighting back
-Fixed a bug that the Stunning Shot of Short Bow sometimes couldn't correctly stun the enemy
-Fixed the Angry Hornets of short bow
Angry Hornets Ⅱ: Increased the piercing damage from 103 to 143 for each attack.
Angry Hornets Ⅲ:Increased the piercing damage from 118 to 188 for each attack.

Dear Warlords:
It's has been two months since we conducted Early Access on steam for Conqueror's Blade: Frontier (SEA server). In the past two months, all the Warlords, as a community, gathered together in the world of Conqueror’s Blade and experienced excited battles in Maoyang, Liangyun, Ostaria, Ungverija and Borderlands.
We also noticed that some Warlords discussed about the content and future development of our game in the community. Our designers also had in-depth discussion about every comments. This time we will share our ideas and plans for some core problems that you may concerned.

Q1: The background story of SEA server?
A1: Everyone knows that we have publisher in EU/NA and CN region. However, the SEA server on Steam is fully operated by our own developer team. To be frankly, this is a brave decision. It’s took a long time for us to consider a proper name for our game. At last, we decided to call it Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier. We hope to establish a fast and effective channel on SEA server to get feedbacks and communicate with all Warlords.
So we selected several colleagues who have full passion towards operation and community management to be part of our first operation team. At the beginning of establishment, we have been devoted to solving bugs and technical problems. After several comprehensive discussions between our operation and developer team, we are starting to move forward as our game became more and more stable.
We should admit that there was some deficiencies in our operation work:

-Sometimes we might be a little inexperienced facing some unexpected problems;
-Sometimes we couldn't answer your feedbacks in-time due to the shortage of manpower;
-Some bugs couldn't be quickly handled due to the complex game system;
-We didn't have enough communication with community in advance and always let you know the updated content in the patch note;
-We could have conduct more transparent discussions about numerous design ideas;
-Insufficient operation experience have caused many difficulties while we improving the game environment.

We will make improvements accordingly. Although there are numerous difficulties, we will try our best to keep improving SEA server.

Q2:What is the main characteristic of SEA server?
A2: First of all, we hope to build the SEA server into a platform where player with different culture backgrounds can compete with each other. We believe it will generate a quite different ecology. The original design thoughts of Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier is to create a dream battlefield with communication between different civilizations. So the SEA server is the best place for this battle spirit to grow.

Q3: Are we going to take seriously the promotion of the SEA server?
A3: Absolutely YES. In order to live up to your trust, we want to share our plan.
Currently, we have stop our propaganda strategically. That is because the relatively low evaluation in steam makes it hard for us to bring in new players and we also can't guarantee an excellent game experience for them. We will:

1.Conduct update and server maintenance more actively and have closer communication with Warlords in the community. Make preparation for developing new players after the evaluation in steam get back to relatively reasonable range.
2.Make Optimization for new players with better catch-up mechanism.
3.Utilize more resources to conduct large-scale promotion in more regions. During the first round of promotion, we found that the language is the biggest problems, so we stop our promotion in some regions. In order to cover all SEA region, we have already started our Localization work in Japan and South Korea. We spent a lot of money and resources to co-operate with the best localization team to get more superior version. We also have been prepared for the localization of other languages.

We consider the SEA server as our most long-standing and promising platform. So we hope you can join us to build a better game ecology for it.

Q4:What is our follow-up plan?
A4: I guess this part is what you cares the most. We also hope to share our update plan with you.

Get rid of operation for three regions with different update progress
1.In the past three month, we have launched our old version in EU/NA region and Conqueror’s Blade: Frontier in SEA and CN region. Last week, we also successfully pushed forward the version updates in EU/NA region. Finally, we have launched the unified version in all regions. Before that, the update progress in three regions differed from each other, which seriously affected our development and release progress. This unification will make significant improvement.

2.The Roadmap with new contents for September is on the way. From now on, at the end of each month, we will share our new Roadmap for the next month in the community.

New Contents that we can share for now
1.Optimizations for new players---catch-up mechanism.

2.Season System.
As the most important system, it’s the foundation to enrich the whole game. We have already mentioned the season system in our developer's log. Our new season mechanism, differed from other common season system, will provide with best game experience with unique themes for all players, no matter you are newbie or veteran.

3.New Unit.
First we want to apologize for the different release period of some contents due to the requirement of our contract. The Monastic Unit and The Skirmishers Unit will be available in SEA server ASAP. Hope you will understand.

4.Attire System Upgrade
We will release new attire step by step. Varangian attire and Dragon shadow, Flying Fish attire will be available in SEA server soon.

5.Epic Mission activity system
This system has been prepared for a long time. This week, we will launch this activity both in SEA and CN region. The first story we choose is the Prefecture Guards fought against pirates in Ming Dynasty. This activity is just a beginning of this system.

6.New Community Channel
We will start to operate in different new community channels. Steam community is a great place for you to give feedbacks and have discussions, but obviously not enough for Warlords from all over the world. In order to have in-time response and more effective communication, this month we will start to expand more channels (both in English and Chinese) after negotiating with partners from different regions.

All in all, what we care the most is your love for Conqueror's Blade: Frontier and great faith in our team. We have been striving to produce good games. Please look forward to our Roadmap and new dev blog. We will try our best to bring a better Conqueror's Blade: Frontier to all Warlords.

Main update: Reward Retrieve System

Considering that in some cases, players may miss their progressions on daily quests or weekly quests. We implemented the Reward Retrieve System to help you retrieve rewards from them.
You can find the Reward Retrieve from activities and there are two options of “Daily quest reward retrieve” and “Weekly quest reward retrieve”. You can either use bronze which can retrieve 60% rewards or use gold which can retrieve 100% rewards from corresponding quests.
Due to the weekly quest refresh is at Monday, the weekly quest retrieve for this week will be temporarily closed until next week. Thank you for understanding.

2)Valen’s Citadel
Slightly decreased the enemy units nearby the second siege tower, including shielded units and units with shields and spears, range units. The units of alliance will be increased at the same time.

Added 3D UI for Warlords to observe when teammates and opponents setting the siege engine. Blue symbolize for teammates and red for enemies.

2)Settlement interface optimization
Warlords now can check the value of taking damages and the contribution of each player in the team stats interface.

3)Changed the objectives in Desert City Defence Mission into eastern civillians.
4)Optimized the burning and sound effect when opened the territory battle in J interface.
5)Optimized the sound effect of roll for bow heroes.
6)Optimized the sound effect of defence action for female warlords with poleaxe and glaive.

Dear Warlords:
We have been continuously updating our new match-making mechanism during these days. Finally, we can present our new version to you today.
Our previous match-making mechanism was based on the level of warlords, which is complained a lot by some of you.

When Warlords reached lever 30, they experience obviously harder battles facing with higher-level opponents. After realizing that, we introduce battle ranking as its foundation to measure and express the battle capabilities of Warlords in a more dynamic way. Based on real battle performance, the “Battle-ranking” can show the changeable and real capability of warlords, then match more appropriate teammates and opponents for them. For example, a well-known veteran will gradually find that the opponents were all high-level Warlords during a fierce battle. Some other less-trained warlords can also enjoy equal battles without being crushed by high-level opponents.

We are fully prepared for the test towards our new match-making mechanism: we had a small-scale test from August 20 to August 22. Besides that, hundreds of thousands of Warlords have already experienced and tested our battle ranking system in the past 10 days. Eventually, this mechanism became more stable and reached our standards this week. So, our decision are as follows:

After accomplishing our routine update in this week, we will officially launch our new match-making mechanism with battle ranking as the standard.

Last but not least, we hope all Warlords to understand that the level difference in the battlefield may be larger than previous battles at the initial stage of our new match-making mechanism. That’s because the evaluation of the battle ranking of each Warlord will only be more stable after a period of data accumulation. As the data gradually accumulates, the battle ranking differences will be reduced, providing a better game experience for all Warlords. Please join us to improve our system with any suggestions and comments while testing our new match-making mechanism.

Dear warlords, glad to meet again:
First of all, we were "faced". In the last developer log, we promised to follow a weekly maintenance plan to ensure that the version is updated in an orderly manner, and help warlords to plan their game time. However, after only two days, we have to conduct server maintenance to solve serious problems.

Now our review begins:
The first problem is: after the last update, the Dual Blade was too IMBA: after using the "new version" of Combat Dismount, it has been enhanced a lot. However, we found that we neglected an important setting that all attack/skills could not break the stealth, so DB could kill other players quickly and safely. If this problem was not fixed in time, the battlefield balance will be destroyed, so we judged that this bug must be fixed immediately.

The second question is: We had to reduce the loot rate of silver coins and equipment in Practice Mode. The main reason is that during data analysis in this two days we found a problem. Because we have reduced the difficulty of Practice Mode, it caused that some players could compress the game duration to about 4 minutes (or even shorter) in an abnormal way. This is twice as fast as the design time (7-8 minutes). We have found that some people and studios used this vulnerability to earn large amounts of silver coins and resell materials and to take advantage of offline transactions. This affected the value of money, equipments and materials in the normal trading market. If not adjusted in time, it may directly harm the game ecology and economic system.

Although it is very stressful to announce the adjustment data, we finally decided to report the details of our adjustment truthfully: in the Practice Mode, the loot rate of the silver coin bag was reduced to 1/4, and 1/3 for equipment. The reason is that in the product design structure, Practice Mode is not the main production of equipment and silver coins. The previous addition of loot is to add some surprises, but because of the mistakes in numerical calculations, it has become a vulnerability of economy system.

So, we will be conducting server maintenance during the period of 6 am to 8 am, 31, Aug (UTC+8).

Our goal is to do our best to maintain the balance on the battlefield and to protect the gaming experience. If a similar situation arises in the future, we will still solve it as quickly as possible.

Dear Warlords, great thanks to your support toward the Conqueror’s Blade:Frontier. To create a realistic cold-steeled battlefield, huge efforts were devoted to maintaining the fairness in the Conqueror’s Blade:Frontier after the game came into official operation and any behavior that pollutes the game environment with illegal programs will not be spared.

For the past few days, we analyzed the runtime data of suspicious users based on player’s report, we decided to permanently ban the account of those who either use the illegal third-party cheating program or falsify the data in the game. The sixth patch name list of 5 players whose accounts are banned are listed as following :

Recently, we also received some feedback that there were intensive illegal third-party cheating program in the early morning, which seriously affected the game balance and experience. In the next period of time, we will take measures against this behavior.

We also need help from all the Warlords and if you find any suspicious in game behaviors you are welcome to report to us directly. We will also give certain rewards to players who report positively.
