Hi everyone, please kindly be informed that, game update V 0.95.0 has just been released. Sorry for the slight delay.
The major focus of this update is to carry out game fine tuning and further improvements based on players' feedback.
Please find below the detailed patch notes:
New Content and changes:
1. Game will now automatically be saved as checkpoint after defeating a major boss (Softcore Mode)
2. Teleportation device now has 2 charges (increased by 1)
3. Monster will have their health points reduced by 10% per team wipe, up to 30% reduction (Softcore Mode Only)
4. Team level retention has been increased from 5 levels to 10 levels
5. Team rune-points allocation will now be retained after starting a new game
6. Hunger rates will no longer increase during major boss fight
7. Spike trap's collision has been fine tuned for more accurate collision detection
8. A new button has been added at the startup menu for player to remove their current progress (start a fresh game from level 1)
9. A new return key has been added at the startup menu. Player can now return to the previous choice for starting a new game or load game
10. Pressing ESC in game will now close all existing windows and bring up the in-game menu
11. New experience scaling has been implemented, experience earned from defeating monster will be scaled based on the differences between team level vs monster level
12. Monster being attacked will now be interrupted for a very short time frame (minor stun effect)
13. After defeating a boss (both mini-boss and major boss), teleportation device charges will be removed
14. Major boss will now stay permanently dead after being defeated
15. New game execution icon (might require PC restart to see icon change on desktop)
16. When placing cursor over "SOFTCORE" / "HARDCORE" button at the startup menu, the other option will now be shaded
17. New finger pointer icon has been added to the tutorial letterbox to notify player to click on either the "CONTINUE" / "OK!" button
Bug Fix:
1. Fixed a bug that allows turrets from dungeon #6 to drop items
2. Fixed a bug that allows major boss to be farmed
3. Fixed a bug that sometimes causes monsters to die again upon loading a game

Hi everyone! Please kindly be informed that the current targeted release of game update version 0.95.0 will be 11-Sep-2018 (1 P.M. PDT / 8 P.M. GMT).
Since within the past 2 days, I have received quite a few in-depth feedbacks from players, more time was needed to implement all these game improvements and refinements, and thus this update took more than 2 days.
Here is a glimpse of what to be expected from this update:
1. Hunger rate will no longer increase during major boss fight
2. Add more checkpoints for softcore players
3. Increase teleportation device charges to 2
4. Player can choose to reduce monster maxHP after wipe (for softcore only)
5. Improve traps collision
6. New game execution icon (currently hard to see on black background)
7. Increase team level retention from 5 to 10 when starting a new game
8. Maintain previous team points allocation when starting a new game
9. Add a new function at the starting menu to clear existing game progress
10. Add a warning when starting a new game
11. Close all windows when ESC is pressed
12. Attack at monster to interrupt its movement for a very short time frame

This update will have the objective system fully implemented up to the latest dungeon, together with more character conversations and story development.
In addition, below is a glimpse of the upcoming dungeon bosses (to be released with update version 0.95.0).
Are you ready to face the BIG THREE?
Please note that the dungeon development direction has been shifted from "medium sized dungeon (with minions and mini-boss) follow with separated dungeon with major boss fight" to "huge dungeon (with everything included)".
By doing this, more unique objectives can be implemented as pre-request for entering major boss fight (instead of the same old recipe to find key, defeat mini boss and proceed).
Also, this way can reduce number of unnecessary dungeon level transition and let player be more engaged.
Another change currently being investigated is to have game automatically saved (for softcore mode) whenever an objective is completed. However, more testing is required to make sure this is doing more good than harm to the current gameplay mechanics.
I hope the above changes will bring a breath of fresh air to the current game development. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts and provide any suggestions!

The main focus of this update is to implement the new objective system and further develop the lately introduced character conversation system.
Please find below patch notes for more details:
New Content:
1. New objective system has been implemented
2. Each dungeon level will have their own objectives shown on top of the screen (next to the torch indicator)
3. Objectives has been added for dungeon level 1 and 2, more will be added next patch
4. Objectives will be updated when being completed
5. New character conversations has been added for level 2
6. New character portrait with "incapacitation" status has replaced the previous "death" status
7. Heroes are now incapacitated by heavy wounds rather than being killed when health falls to 0. thus allowing them to have conversation (just not able to fight)
8. New sound effects has been added and will be triggered upon quest completion
9. New sound effect has been added and will be triggered upon artifact drops
10. New equipment upgrade effect has been added and will be triggered upon picking up a gem
11. New boss introduction added and will be triggered upon boss fight. Oakor will provide some background information about the boss and may be some tips about the encounter (currently implemented for level 2)
Game Changes:
1. Weapon slot has been resized to align with other equipment slots
2. The loading has been improved with less time needed to enter a new game
3. Input instructions (top of screen) has been removed from level 1
Bug Fix:
1. A bug that causes artificial red light to appear at the entrance hall upon starting a new game has been fixed
