Iron Harvest - Sheep_wielder
I see people playing Iron Harvest, how do I get access?
You’re seeing the players of our Alpha game. We’re very thankful to them for supporting us during our very successful Kickstarter and early-supporter campaigns, and now they are putting the game through its early steps and providing feedback.

Is it still possible to become an early supporter and/or Beta backer?
Unfortunately, not. While it is great to be on Steam, it also means we can no longer sell early access without becoming and open early access game. If we find a way, we will be sure to advertise it. Until then please wish-list us and you’ll not miss out when we final release the full game.

When will Iron Harvest be fully released?
We always stated that we would release the game “when it’s done”. We are aiming for this to be on the 1st of September 2020, but that ultimately depends on the feedback we’ll get from our community and our own evaluation. We don’t want to produce a game that is soon forgotten.

Beta when?
We aim for a closed Beta for our early supporters/backers sometime in mid-Dec 2019. It’ll be like an early Christmas present.

How many factions will there be in-game?
There are three playable factions in the game: Rusviet, the Polania Republic and the Saxony Empire. Each with over a dozen individual units, three playable heroes and different playstyles.

How can I stay up-to-date with the games development?
Here you can find monthly DevBlog posts with behind-the-scenes material. Unfortunately, the exact date of blog release varies each month depending on what’s going on within the office and when content is ready for release. We'll try to upload the highlight to this Steam community.

What is Iron Harvest based on?
Iron Harvest takes place in the World of 1920+. It is an alternate version of our own world created by Polish artist Jakub Różalski. In the early 20th century, tradition clashes with progress, and the world is still full of mysteries and secrets. Check out the artwork that inspires our games aesthetic here.

Isn’t this similar the board game Scythe?
Iron Harvest and Scythe are both inspired by “World of 1920+” by Jakub Rozalksi. BUT there are different Units and Characters in our lore. The story is independent and not necessarily related to 1920+ and not related to Scythe. Regardless we like the board game and have fun playing it as well!

Will there be DLC?
We like the Company of Heroes approach: Make a great game, release small updates like new maps or maybe a mini campaign for free and then sell big add-ons with new factions and new story campaigns. So long as the players want them, this is what we’ll do.

What are the system requirements?
At the time to writing, it is too early to say. But we are aiming for the game to run on your machine if it is up to 5-6 years old, once the game comes out.

What game content can we expect?
Three playable factions with over 40 unit types and 9 heroes. Three singleplayer campaigns with an overarching story (21 missions). Singleplayer & Co-op skirmish matches & challenge maps. Competitive multiplayer (ranked matches, leagues). Free DLCs & Updates.

Will there be a Map editor?
We want to add a map editor so you can make your own. Right now, it's still too early so we can't promise anything.

Will Iron Harvest be on other platforms?
We are committed to Steam and GoG on PC, PS, Xbox and we’re looking into Linux and Mac versions. Any other platforms will depend on what our publisher decides.

Will there be in-game voice chat?
We plan for a robust in-game ping and chat system, but VoIP isn’t a priority because there are many great 3rd party options, such as Discord and TeamSpeak. We encourage you to use this Discord to find players and use our voice channels.

What graphic options will be available?
There are already several options to customize your graphics settings and we’ll be adding more with future releases.

How do I rotate the placement of buildings and bunkers?

Who is your publisher?

With their support, there is now a possibility for more content, more platforms and even a level editor!
