Green Hell VR is not just a simple port of Green Hell or a mod for Green Hell to include VR mode. It is a separate game which contains many changes to provide better integration and playstyle for the VR systems, and the all-surround experience really resembles the one of being stranded in the Amazon jungle.
We have prepared a special build with many fixes and HUD scaling for you to check out!
Where to find it? On our PUBLIC TEST BRANCH! How to change the branch on steam? - Go to your library - Right-click Green Hell and choose properties - Go to the last Tab ‘Betas’ - Now from the expand menu choose branch 'public_test'
This is a developer’s build, there are no debugs BUT! there is a debug console!(left bottom corner) If you have anything pop up choose ‘OPEN LOG’, save the text file and send it over to support@creepyjar.com with the save file you were playing on and with an info what were you doing when it happened.
Did it appear for host? Client? were you far/close from each other?
IF THE ASSERT OR CRASH APPEAR DO NOT CONTINUE AND DO NOT SAVE!! Just quit without saving, both Host and Clients! Restart the game fully, load the last save you had.
Your saves will not be present by default on this branch! If you want to play on your save go to: C: / Program Files (x86) / Steam / userdata[unique Steam ID] / 815370 / remote.
There you will find your saves ex. MPSlot1.sav. To use it on Public Test branch, copy the file and paste it in the same folder adding 'PTR' between 'Slot' and number. Ex. MPSlot1.sav - MPSlotPTR1.sav
IMPORTANT: Converting back - from PTR to non-PTR save will most likely corrupt it! So the conversion works only one way! We won't be able to help you if you convert it the other way around!
