Adventurers!

This is the last Developer Notes of 2019 and we here at Creepy Jar would like to thank everyone for the support you have shown us throughout the year!

Green Hell is the success it is today with the feedback, suggestions, reviews & help of our awesome Community. Thank you for all the bug reports which help us pinpoint and fix issues.

Green Hell only launched out of Early Access in September of this year and it's not the end of our journey together. Expanded Shelters, Co-op and a secret Content Update are on the schedule ahead of us, not to mention we'd love to try and implement some of those great suggestions of yours!

Our Turkish translation will need some more time for polish for being released – those long articles from story mode are exhausting! This week is all about focusing on the Expanded Shelters update so we can get the update solid and out to you guys for the Holidays.

If you're interested in checking out the PTR build for the Expanded Shelters update, be sure to join our official discord server ( https://discordapp.com/invite/greenhell ) to get access to the build information. The build is currently stable, just needs polishing.

Hey guys!

We would like to thank everyone who voted for Green Hell in any category on the Steam Awards!

This weekend the team attended SGC 2019 in Ljubljana and we won the award for Best Indie Game of 2019.



Our next Update is almost ready and it includes controller support. We just have to make sure there are no controller related bugs and add proper hints translations.

Turkish Language
is currently being worked on and we hope it will be ready and added with the Expanded Shelters Update.

Our Expanded Shelters update is currently undergoing testing by our QA Team.



CO-OP Mode is still in the hands of our programmers & animators. Simple actions are properly animated (so no T-Pose ☹)
We are currently on time for our internal schedule for CO-OP!!

Hi Adventurers!

Since the Plant Cultivation update went live we are spending some time checking the bugs and performance issues that our Community has reported, while generating hot fixes.

We are still waiting for fix for the brews not working properly- but we are aware of the issue.

We have divided our working team into two groups.

Expanded Shelters Update: This team has prepared Protoype buildings and are waiting on the programmers to render them useable. In the meantime they are exploring secondary floor access options: stairs, ladder, climbing rope or maybe something else.

Coop Update: The 3D Artist had finished the Backpack model, our Animators are polishing the Jake model and programmer is…programming. ;)

  • Fixed – Animal droppings are hard to notice
  • Fixed – Default keys in key bindings always work
  • Fixed – Snapping ghosts can be placed without snapping it to another structure
  • Fixed – No plow icon in Acre Trigger after cutting down plant
  • Fixed – Phallus_indusiatus_dryed collision doesn't match model position
  • Fixed – Dried Phallus Indusiatus does not stack
  • Fixed – Cannot drink/spill bowls that have 0/100 hydration
  • Fixed – Game crashes when inserting a stack of Dry Leaf into fire starting tool
  • Fixed – Armor stays in the air if picked up from Backpack after swapping
  • Fixed – Water containers should fill up from 1/10 instead of 0/10
  • Fixed – Fruits don't drop after cutting down entire plant growing in Acre
  • Fixed – Game crashes when loading specific saves
