Since the Plant Cultivation update went live we are spending some time checking the bugs and performance issues that our Community has reported, while generating hot fixes.
We are still waiting for fix for the brews not working properly- but we are aware of the issue.
We have divided our working team into two groups.
Expanded Shelters Update: This team has prepared Protoype buildings and are waiting on the programmers to render them useable. In the meantime they are exploring secondary floor access options: stairs, ladder, climbing rope or maybe something else.
Coop Update: The 3D Artist had finished the Backpack model, our Animators are polishing the Jake model and programmer is…programming. ;)
The past few weeks we were busy working on the Plant Cultivation Update- which went live yesterday! Testing new mechanics took us some time- brainstorming ideas (we weren't sure if we should add droppings as fertilizer or not) and sorting through suggestions. We hope you will have fun and enjoy it. :)
We do know that the update possibly changed few settings (key bindings) and we are looking into that today.
Our animators are sorting through a ton of new motion-capture data that they are integrating into their work for coop. Please continue to send your suggestions to our Discord bot Jungle Jeeves if you are in Discord, or post them to Steam- we are adding suggestions to an internal list for talking over.
Some other quick updates:
- The team is holding meetings on our work plan for Expanded Shelters
- We have gathered your Ideas for Steam Achievements from Steam Thread and Discord Channel and our Designer Michał has chosen some of them. (Discord members, the "Steam Achievement" channel will be retired shortly!)
- We are working on a Turkish translation for the game

Adventurers! Ready to take your green thumb into Green Hell?
We're thrilled to announce that farming is coming soon! Cultivate 15 different plants with seeds, fertilizer, and the new planting box and small planting box constructions.
In order to keep you up to date with everything we're working on behind the scenes, we're going to start posting Dev Notes twice a month- this will enable us to provide more information what's being worked on in Green Hell and showcase some of our progress.
Last month we were kept busy preparing various Hotfixes but we also began Controller and Coop internal testing. While working on controller we are adding new functionalities that will affect key and gameplay customization (e.g. toggle crouch) As for Coop – animators are collecting the data from the mocap sessions to begin animating the player models.

Plant Cultivation – We have done internal work on planting and our QA testers continue to bug check. Our 3D Artist is working on the models necessary for this update.
I just wanted to say a few words about the FPS issues we know some players are experiencing. We have seen the threads about FPS problems and we make sure to internally log any details provided. We are currently pursuing a fix that should address this issue and will provide further updates once we have them.
Last but not least, we are working on steam achievements and steam controller on the side.
