In Rescue HQ you build, organise, and manage a station for the three emergency departments police, fire brigade, and ambulance. With a limited initial budget, you further develop the HQ, expand your crew with new employees and provide them with all the equipment and vehicles they need.
In addition, Rescue HQ can be extensively modded. Create or download your own assets, maps, and missions via the Steam Workshop and connect with the community!

It’s been quiet the last few weeks, cause we’ve been moving on full speed into the release :-) lot of work has been done... lot of UI, Gameplay and mechanics updates have taken part in our version but now we are finally ready to show the version to ALL of you.
This weekend, from Friday to Tuesday we start the public Easter Playtest of “Rescue HQ - The Tycoon”, everybody who would love to take a look at the game and give it a try simply has to join our DISCORD and will automatically get a Key for the game :-) (thanks Discord Bot ;-) ).
What else can i say, feel free to join, have fun playing the game and leave us some feedback on what you like and what you dislike.

We had some great progress we want to share with you!
We had a small interview with our tech artist Daniel who explain more about how the UI actually became what it is now and will let you take a small dive into our “BROWNOCALYPSE”. We added so many new objects so we created a nice small screenshot for you with some of these new objects down below.
Wait, how about some new vehicles…. We had nice fire trucks, medic vans and all kind of police cars, but how about something faster? Something that might not be stuck on the ground? Yes, we thought having helicopter for each department. That could be something really nice for your emergencies.
We also added a few more mechanics to the game after our last play test that we want to talk with you about. First of all we added a new “rookie function”: your future employee starts as a rookie that will not add any % or benefit to your mission but you actually need to train them before you can use them. Rookie’s will gain XP in missions or on training objects before they actually become a real employee.
While hire new people will actually offer you a set of different XP/Level progress to select from (a tier 2 Hire Desk actually help you find better people for example). In our last playtest you could just hire unlimited people and solve problems that way, but now there is a cap on people that can be increased by buying new lockers and place them so each person actually has it own locker where he also need to move before a emergency (so place them smart is a big benefit).
We also added room benefits. With adding the corridor as a part of our “room build options”, we offer a way to let people travel faster inside of the HQ: people move faster in a corridor than moving in normal rooms.
Last for today we want to remind everyone that we are going to start our next closed playtest later this week, we still looking to add a few more people to our test group from active users in our Discord, so join and hit us up there to become part of the test group.

Rescue HQ – The Tycoon will release without Denuvo protection, this is more or less the news for today, but let us add a few more words on why etc. below.
The last weeks we gathered so much great feedback about our game, people that like the art, the gameplay mechanics and much more. That's why we focused more on what people don't like about our plans.
DRM, something not to much gameplay related but some of you feel really upset, in other words Denuvo.
As some of you already noticed we had the Denuvo disclaimer on the Steampage – yes it was planned to run our game DRM protected by Denuvo, but now it is gone.
Sure many of you guys won't understand why we wanted to put Denuvo into our game but let me clarify a few things.
DRM is a pain, it limits me! DRM is something no one likes, most of you people never will hit any requirements that are set by the DRM Software – 5 PCs within 24h… when would this appear to you?
DRM slows down the game! In our tests (as a publisher) and the test of the developing studio we actually didn't see a single impact on running the software with DRM or without.
We'll have to pay more `caus of DRM! DRM is cheap – it is not free but with only one person more that actually would buy the game many DRM protections are paid - Day 1 cracks are really really awful - Visit the known pages and see your title, free, with one click with 100 of comments is a pain. - People join your Discord, email your support and actually eat your time etc. who have never paid a penny – they hurt. - People who are telling you, yes i just try it – i will buy it later (do you know anyone who ever did that?)
Pirates be prepared!
Protecting your idea, your baby, your work for the last year, often feels like protecting your family (many of you game devs might understand), but the question is what's the right „weapon“ to protect them.
With being open in all communication around our small idea of „Rescue HQ – The Tycoon“ up to the development and hopefully after the release we try to focus on the community, on the ideas, thoughts, requests that you actually share with us.
That's why we ask ourselves, is it actually worth to hold YOU back from buy the game – because you don't like DRM, because we want to hold back Mr Torrent from getting the hands on our game? After many thoughts, talks etc. it is a clear NO for us. We don't want to hold you back, just because Mr Torrent would never ever buy the game. Thats why we removed the need of any kind of DRM Software protection and just hope that you love our art, our baby, our game that much that you are willing and fair enough to actually buy it.
Getting rid of any kind of DRM actually even open us more options in modding, that's why we are super happy to announce that we actually will be open with most of script to the people who buy our game.So you can modify it up until making a Walking Dead Clone out of it where you actually need to gether survivors in your HQ and send them out to find new one.
Please feel more then free to share your experience, your thoughts or just your words about going Denuvo free (more or less DRM free beside the needed Steam stuff).
We are more than happy to share, that we finished the first real play test with 25 people. That is some amazing feedback for us.
