You will yet again face fearsome monsters and unknown dangers. But worry not, as experienced instructors from the Taborean Academy will be there to guide you!

Between Friday, January 18th, 00:00 (server local time) and Sunday, January 20th, 23:59 (server local time), there will be an experience and talent point event! During this period, all experience gained from quests and combat will be increased by 100% while talent points gained from combat will be increased by 250%.

In the past, when the frost and snow fell and the moon disappeared from the sky, the Frostmoon Demon Beast Thysdyr would awaken from his sleep and cause destruction everywhere. At the time, the people had no way to stop him, so they could only flee. They would wait for Thysdyr to leave, then return to rebuild their homes. The villagers lived through this nightmare year after year, until one year at this time, a strangely-dressed traveler came to visit even though he knew the terrible beast would attack.

That night, as Thysdyr's angry roar drew nearer and nearer, the traveler sat in the empty city, quietly waiting...

The next day, the villagers returned to find their village untouched. Surprised, they asked the traveler what had happened. It turns out that Thysdyr was afraid of rune-catalyzed flame. This exciting news spread quickly to all the nearby villages. After that, every time the Frostmoon Beast awoke, he could only continue to hide in the darkness.

Many years have passed, and Thysdyr hasn't been seen for a long time. But every year when the snowy season arrives, people build a giant pyre and dance around it, throwing in rune catalysts. They celebrate day and night, and call the celebration the Festival of Fire.

Everything is ready for you to sit down and relax in front of the fire with your friends and family, a nice cup of hot chocolate to hand. The time has come to tell a few enchanting Christmas tales…

Join in the celebrations by sharing a short Christmas story with us all: create a comic comprising four in-game screenshots around the subject of the Snowflake Festival. Submit your comic by 11:59 PM (CET) on 01/01/2019 and with a bit of luck you could win some great prizes! You’ll find more details in our official forum.

• Create a small story consisting of four screenshots on the subject of the “Snowflake Festival”.
• Your submission should consist of up to 4 comic images with speech bubbles and/or short captions.
• The text and at least one of your characters must be visible in at least one screenshot.
• The submission must consist of in-game screenshots; real photos are not permitted. You may use image editing software to crop the screenshots and add text or special comic effects.

The Advent season is upon us and the first snow is falling over Taborea. People across the land are making preparations and getting into the festive spirit…
But new adventures lurk around every corner in this land of magic. This year is no different, as wild monsters walk abroad once more, and we plan a host of exciting events and competitions.

So get your weapons polished up ready, and come by regularly to find full details on all our winter events.




The snow has fallen through the night, covering Taborea in a soft blanket that sparkles in the rays of the rising sun. Children waking to this piping cold rush out into the deep, cold fleece with peals of laughter to join the great snowball fight. But their good-natured missiles occasionally go astray, hitting monsters who lash out furiously and prime themselves to attack.

Can you protect the children? Earn yourself a boost event in reward!

• Between December 17th at 00:00 server local time and December 24th at 23:59 server local time you will gain +100% Experience from quests and mobs, +250% talent points from mobs, and a +100% boost in drop rates.
  
• Between December 25th at 00:05 server local time and January 1st, 2019 at 23:59 server local time you will gain + 200% Experience from quests and mobs, +500% talent points from mobs, and a +200% boost in drop rates.

Please note that between the two phases of the boost event, there will be a few minutes when no boost is active.




Do you still remember the days when you wrote letters to Santa? In Taborea, it’s the other way around – over the Christmas season, Santa and his helpers will send you letters containing little gifts!

Don’t miss out on any of these cool deliveries. There’s a surprise in store for you every day between 17th December and 1st January 2019, and you can look forward to various useful items to help you on your adventures. If you have multiple characters on your account, the presents will land in the mailbox of the first character you log in with. Even if you miss a day during this period, it won’t have any effect on the remaining presents.

Take the plunge and follow Kerley Hill through the transport portal to Vortis. Explore the island suffering from drought and uncover the many secrets it holds.

Make your way over the sand dunes leading away to the north, but be on your guard against the Stormwatch! Your goal is simple: you must foil Minas the Soul Corrupter’s sinister plans. You’ll find him in the new Egyptian-styled dungeon, the Tomb of Souls.

Take part in the Mysterious Auras Event to get yourself in the rhythm ready for the challenging encounters. Fight in the following instances between 12.12.2018 (after the maintenance) and 10.01.2019 (until the maintenance): Bone Peak, Madro Troll Nest, Raven Heart, Vale of Rites, Ice Blade Plateau and Sun Temple of Eternal Sleep.

On following weekend (14.12 00:00 AM - 16.12.2018 11:59 PM server times), you’ll even earn additional experience and talent points there, and the drop rate also gets a boost.

• New instance Tomb of Souls has been added. Instance will offer 3 difficulties: Easy, Normal and Hard modes.
• New titles have been added.

• New items for Ancient Mementos, Phirius Shells, Energy of Justice, Proof of Myth, Honour, Dreamland Pioneer Sigils merchant NPCs have been added.
• New Item Set skills have been added for level 100. The extraction cost is 70.000.000.
• Known issue: Description of Druid's Item-Set Skill "Lava Effect" is missing and it's been reported. The skill effect is "Make your target no longer afraid and dispel the target fear effect."

Zachariel was a Great Mage of the Eye of Wisdom from the time 400 years ago when the Eye of Wisdom was still residing on the Kolydian continent. He was well known because of his benevolent deeds. In the midst of a harsh winter he would provide the needy with supplies.

Once the people of the Eye of Wisdom had come to Candara, they decided to keep this habit in order to foster a peaceful relationship with the local people. When the season of heavy snow had come they would, just as Zachariel had done, wear a red robe and provide the local people with supplies. This gesture helped many endure the long winters and also built trust between the people and the Eye of Wisdom. Soon we were doing this every winter and it became a custom and was named the Snowflake Festival.

After the Phirius Workshops had been set up, they meant to take advantage of this custom and decided to make some modifications to the red robe and thereafter let their people wear these robes while delivering presents to little children. Their actions won many praises from the people and also allowed them to make more money.

The Phirius Workshops taking a fancy to this custom would make the Snowflake Festival an even bigger event in the years to come. Each year more and more people took part in these activities creating this wonderful and exciting atmosphere that we can experience during the winter season nowadays.
