Today is the big day of good news! ːiratus_medallionː As the first part of the news, we are happy to announce that DLC Iratus: Wrath of the Necromancer is coming soon — on October 26th. You can pre-order the DLC now with an awesome discount on Steam:
ːiratus_medallionː Secondly, in preparation of the DLC, we've updated the main version of the game with several improvements and balance changes:
1. Players focussed a lot on the shortcomings of the Transmutation randomness and asked us to implement a more guaranteed and reliable way to improve the parts. We found a way to meet the wishes and added (to supplement the Transmutation) the option to improve the part which is already planted into the minion, with the Diggers' Souls (20, 40, 80 for each step).
2. There also have been some displeased players because the game profile automatically deleted itself after finishing the game. Now the game profile is saved even after finishing the fifth floor. Because of this feature, you now always have the opportunity to re-watch the final cinematic, load the old quick save, look into your inventory and achievements, and save progress before DLC Iratus: Wrath of the Necromancer to continue your conquest from the sixth floor.
3. After analyzing your feedback for all this time, we changed the mechanism for generating maps and squads to make the walkthrough more dynamic, fights and squads more varied, and the improvement of the minions and Iratus more rapid.
4. And — of course — balance changes! In short, we added Features to all the remaining minions, for example, Zombie now Ignores Armor and Resistance, and our Ghoul restores 10% of the damage dealt to enemies as Vigor. We also changed the power of minions' abilities and characteristics upgrades, strengthened a list of minion items, tuned the talents Finger of Death and Battle Eternal, and as well, slightly changed the characteristics of enemies and bosses on the 4th and 5th floors. A detailed changelog can be found at the end of this blogpost.
ːiratus_medallionː Before the release of the DLC, we will do one more preview of the upcoming content, this time — new enemies, and the announcement of some small but good news. We recommend you to join our Discord server: there our communication is the fastest, and players are able to share their thoughts, ideas and the best lineup with each other!

We are also preparing a small surprise for the Halloween, but for the time being, you must not breathe a word of this to anyone! ːhunky_skullː Stay tuned for more news, things will get exciting very soon!
Hello, necromancers! We're keeping in touch: DLC Iratus: Wrath of the Necromancer, which we plan to release this fall is almost complete and is already testing! DLC will include two new minions, additional skins, a new Alchemy mechanic — Potion Making, new, including elite and two-positions enemies, alternative bosses, new artefacts and items, and an additional story video. We introduced the first new minion, the Reaper, and talked about Potion Making in the previous news:
Today we will introduce you to the second new minion— the Abomination. Multifunctional... a lump of flesh that effectively protects allies from attacks, and also instils panic in enemies with its mere appearance. "War is an eternal mover of progress, especially in the realms of the necromantic. Although Iratus had only recently reemerged onto the stage, he did not waste any time delving back into his favorite hobby: the creation of minions both dread and vile. In his malefic pursuits, the arch necromancer had stumbled upon something he did not expect, the power of a new curse - a curse of flesh. Infused into the bodies of those wretched miners by the alchemists and strengthened through sorcerous experiments, their flesh turned out to be infused with so much lingering pain. It took some study but finally, the results are at hand... the grotesque and putrescent Abomination. Undead flesh forced to grow and deform over and over until it becomes a grisly engine of war."
The abomination uses all its outgrowths to inflict very nasty damage on enemies:
It can easily become more intimidating or destructive, depending on the needs of the necromancer:
Shielding another minion with its rotting mass, it also counterattacks the assaulter:
And of course, weak-minded opponents will be rashly absorbed and disappear in the dehisced womb of this monster forever:
As usual, we ask you to share your impressions!
P.S. Answering the question about the release date of the DLC, we will inform you that we plan to release it in late autumn. Until then, add to your wishlist, so don't miss Wrath of the Necromancer. ːcursed_eyeː
Hello, necromancers! Today we have two news and both are good!
ːcursed_eyeː The first one is from our fix-it-team — the today update of version 176.15 will not affect players who have not noticed anything strange before, but is intended to eliminate and prevent graphics glitches for players using AMD Radeon video cards . We offer our deepest apologies to the players who have encountered this issue. We are very sorry that it took us so long to fix this game-breaking bug. We will be very grateful for your feedback: both about the fact that everything is fine now, and in cases when suddenly something does go wrong.
Besides new minions and enemies, a completely new mechanic of Alchemy is also planned — Potions.
By combining various parts in the cauldron, you will learn new recipes for potions, which you can later use right in the battle. The higher quality pieces you use, the more powerful you will get the potion. Flasks are needed to make potions — this resource drops out as a reward for winning a battle. New recipes can be learned by experimenting with different combinations of parts. The Potions using does not depend on the progress of the talent tree — this is a separate mechanic.
You can store a maximum of six potions in your inventory. In battle, potions are used in the same way as Iratus spells: on the appropriate tab, select a potion and click on one of the highlighted targets. Potions are also used once per round.
You'll enchant one or all minions, weaken enemies and restore resources to Iratus (mana, wrath, increases Spell Power) with the power of potions. This mechanic will expand tactical options in combat and open up new abilities combinations. In total, about three dozen recipes are planned.
We're glad to inform you that the DLC development is entering the final phase, very active work is underway. We hope to release the DLC Iratus: Wrath of the Necromancer in fall 2020.
Meet the first: Reaper — the grim rider of death, bringing terror and draining life from opponents. The universal damager and reliable helper for the necromancer.
"Capable of destroying both body and soul with their necromantic scythes, they are the preferred shock troop of many a power hungry necromancer, even before Iratus took the stage. Despite this, the nature of their ability to channel destruction back to their masters is still poorly understood, since the curse they carry seems to predate the dark arts themselves.
The best that Iratus was able to discover is that it's something primal, inherent in the world that does not and might not ever have a name. But while their true origin might be an enigma, their purpose is anything but... to wage war on the living."
With his deadly scythe, the Reaper slices through the flesh of the enemy, and also restores resources to Iratus:
Reapers are capable of setting their enemies in flames, forcing them to wriggle in hellfire and lose their minds in terrible agony:
Gathering a harvest of horror and despair, the dark rider enhances all undead magic that is used nearby:
And, finally, a crushing blow with a scythe, which draws a line under the life of mortals and fills the grim figure on a bone horse with strength:
Please, share your impressions of the new minion: we are very interested in your opinion!
Greetings, necromancers! Hope you're going well and your summertime is not sad! We prepared for you update, including new features for difficulty levels system, a present — summer skins for Mummy, Shade, Blood Phantasm and Lost Soul, and usual bugfixes and balance changes.
All players who will enter the game from June 25, 7 PM CEST to July 9, 7 PM CEST will get new limited skins for four minions: the Mummy, Shade, Blood Phantasm and Lost Soul. Skins will remain with you forever.
About new features. Many players tell us what locked difficulty levels didn't allow fulfilling the entire experience of the game. So we made "Good Always Wins" available after the Tutorial too in this new version.
Another part of the community voiced a wish for more mechanics for a comfortable and safe game be added, and we also listened to them: in the save mode at difficulty levels “Cakewalk” and “More Pain!” implemented the option to quicksave (you can create a save point in the menu or by pressing F5 in the lair of Iratus).
We hope that now the game will be much more comfortable for both prudent and hardcore players! Enjoy the summer and follow the news: we are in full swing developing the DLC, will soon begin to share you with its contents, there is a whole cauldron of interesting things! ːcursed_eyeː
