Hi everybody! It’s been awhile, how have you been?
Today a year has passed since the conclusion of our Kickstarter, that’s why we want to make a brief recap about the state of the project 🧐
As you maybe remember, our original goals here were:
Finish the Survival Mode
Build The Heroes’ Cemetery for all of our backers
Create an entire playable level of the Campaign Mode to convince investors
Well, “let's go by parts”, said Hellgore while he was ripping and tearing a poor Vlader…

THE SURVIVAL MODE
During past year (2018) we did some adjustments, but the real upgrades will come with the release of the Campaign Mode, since we’re going to make use of all the progress made there.
We can’t add those improvements to the active version of the game at Steam yet, because we’re still working on the internal structure of the engine. But we can tell you that we’re working with the experimented team of programmers at NGD Studios for that, so the game can achieve the best results in performance and porting 👍

THE HEROES' CEMETERY
We decided that this place is going to be an entire level of the Campaign Mode, where all the immortalized souls (from Kickstarter and from our website) rest in Hell forever.
Since our last post on April, we have been organizing all the information given by you guys (names, photos, phrases), and we slowly started designing every headstone, bust and statue. Soon enough, there will be updates on this as well. Here’s a quick spoiler of the cemetery:

THE CAMPAIGN MODE
So here’s where we have been dedicated most of our time, sweat and blood (mostly blood for sure).
As we’ve just mentioned you, we’re working with NGD Studios, who currently our publishers for Hellbound. This is allowing us to create, not only one single level of the campaign, but an entire episode ✌️
Right now 25% of the levels from the game have (almost) final visuals and audio; 50% count with gameplay placements (enemies, items, areas, doors, switches, Etc.); and 100% was already blocked out (”grey boxes”).
Today we have created more than 1000 props with materials and textures; 5 new items; 3 new music soundtracks; 1 new enemy, and more…
Just a few of the many props created for the environments
We want to reveal final screenshots of the game very soon, but we’re still working on that, and we also need to find a better timing (a day before E3 isn’t the best moment of course).
Thank you for this amazing year! Keep on Facebook and Twitter 👍
We’re finally creating the graves for The Heroes’ Cemetery with you. So get ready! 💀
The Heroes’ Cemetery will be an entire level for the Campaign Mode of Hellbound, in which all the lost souls who fought and resist the war against the infernal forces will be immortalized (yeah, finally some story) 😈
In case you missed the Kickstarter to be part of the cemetery, don’t worry! You can still be part of it by securing your own grave at our website. Below are the details of all the different structure options.
YOUR NAME ON THE BIG WALL
Their name or nickname will be displayed on The Big Wall. This is a 65 feet tall wall located in the center of the cemetery, and it’s a “must-see” for all the tourists.
YOUR OWN HEADSTONE
The ones who deserve their own place in Hell’s ground will have their own grave with a headstone that shows their name (or nickname), and/or a digitized picture of their faces on it.
YOUR OWN BUST
Recognized soldiers with a higher rank will get a more privileged spot. They will have a 3D esculped version of their faces carved onto a bust secured to its own base with their name (or nickname) and/or a digitized picture of their face on it.
YOUR OWN FULL BODY STATUES
Finally, the most brave fallen soldiers in war will have the ultimate immortalization: Not only will their faces be sculpted in 3D, but their entire body. And this body can be dressed as Hellgore, as any of the HellKnights, or even any of the costumes they want to. And of course, their name, nickname, and even their digitized picture will be added to the base of their great statue.
