Defeating each massive boss, inspired by some of humanity’s worst nightmares, is a herculean task. Each epic encounter will push you and your army of Daughters to the limit. You’ll need to anticipate deadly abilities, learn intricate attack patterns and certainly make sacrifices in your pursuit of victory.

In Othercide, every kill and action have a chance to unlock a Memory, earning new gameplay bonuses and story fragments, though these bosses offer some truly game-changing effects. Only by carrying over what you’ve learned and earned will you conquer Suffering once and for all.

In Othercide, the unique Dynamic Timeline System is at the core of every battle. Rather than simply controlling where and what your units do, you will also manipulate when things happen. This can be used in many ways, from interrupting an enemy attack before it even occurs, to unleashing a devastating series of combos.

With Othercide releasing in roughly one month, we’d like to take this opportunity to showcase some compelling artwork from our Art Director, Alexandre Chaudret.

As a child, Alexandre suffered from a very rare blood disease which ultimately became the impetus for the Othercide universe. His pain, nightmares, and trauma created the nightmarish creatures and world of the game. Are you facing your own nightmares now? Or someone else’s? The Artbook preview below will give you an idea of what to expect in the game, including the lore, the concept art, and so on.

The perfect entry point to the game, Forging Nightmares gives a background on the key characters and creatures from the Othercide universe: the Mother, her Daughters, and the terrifying Others that you will face off against.
