Surprise! Here's an update! We've got lots of different small tweaks for you all, but also a few bigger things! One new monster, a couple new dreams to achieve and some new power gifts! But first, here's a message from Veyerals:
So many new players picked this up during the Summer Sale and I just wanted to make this update as a thank you! With the exception of any bug fixes within the next few days, this will truly be the last update until the game is finished! There is still a lot of work to do so it won't be for at least a few months still. I don't want to make any guesses on the date yet, but it will be posted here when the release date is finalized. And as always, I will continue to reply in the forums here!
Also, we will be raising the price of the game by a few dollars very soon! Now's the best time to get the game, if you haven't already! The content has been doubled since the last price increase and we feel that a slightly bigger price tag is justified.

Updates & Tweaks
The "Radiate Tetrids" event has been changed into the Radiant Garden
Title cards for special event chapters in story mode will now say that they are a special chapter
Added an option to view the progress to karma from panic attacks on the battle hud
Added an option to blackout the backgrounds during battles
Blot's paint turrets pop with a better sound effect
Increased the intensity of the bullet wobble on Alter Blot's second phase
Reduced Alter Roundsaw's movement speed when overleveled
Story: The best score tables are now shown for Mist Rain difficulty
Quickplay: controls were changed in the loadout menus so that you can now remove gifts with a single button press
Endless: Added title cards at the start of each new cycle
Endless: Changed the stage and cycle hud when choosing a monster
Endless: the monster level can be slightly reduced at the start of each cycle if the level is pushed very high in the previous cycle
Added small heart icons that show any active denial shields and fatal hit revives on your health bar
Your health bar is now shown on the main page of the Check Heart menu and in the Quick Gift menu
Improved the card art for Sentinel 4X
The "A key to love" event has a lower base chance to appear while being able to greatly increasing the chance if challenges are failed during the run
The dreams for collecting 25 of each color tetrid have all been increased to require 64
The bullet magnet effect of the Love Signal gift will now only affect alternating bursts of shots from your heart. Additionally, love signals will now also cause damage over time
Bug Fixes
Fixed bug where Chroma used Scrambla's fear and defense stats
Fixed a bug that prevented the Scrambla Maw helper from working correctly in Freeplay mode
Fixed a bug that would make rainbow ring barriers on certain monsters grow to massive sizes when hit by too much damage

We've got a couple of new things for you to try out today, including a new Ultra Quickplay mode! One brand new monster to beat, and a bunch of different small, but important fixes.
This will be one of our last content updates. In about a week or so Veyerals will bring us one more update, that will add dreams to all the remaining monsters that don't have them yet. It will also add Freeplay Mode where you can challenge any boss at any level with any amount of gifts, but you won't gain any dreams or tetrids from doing it. Think of it as a practice mode with no limits!

The karma bonus point for not using a panic attack has been removed!
Instead, up to 2 bonus karma can now be earned per battle by absorbing a certain amount of bullets with panic attacks
Fast forwarding through the karma rewards at very high levels of Endless Nightmare is now faster

Also, a special announcement from Veyerals!
There will only be one more monthly update on May 8th! It will mainly consist of more monsters. After that, there will be no more updates until the game is completely finished! That means all the story and all those Truer Finaler Battles that I've been holding back will be done in one big final update.

The effect of the monster Attack Speed buff/nerf has been reduced from 20% to 10% per unit
The overleveled monster Attack Speed cap has been increased from 12 to 24 (The actual effective limit is still +240%)
The tetrid cost to radiate several monsters has been adjusted
Quickplay: XP required for rank 35+ has been increased to compensate for all the new battles
Knot Knott has new sound effects
Slightly lowered the score goals for Kiwi at higher levels
Changed the colors of some glass bullets shot by Glass Flora monsters
Photoxai's small glyphs now take damage normally from panic attacks rather than breaking instantly

Shy Lila was missing the Radiant attack element icon on her radiated card
Fixed a typo in the Spark Mark memory for those of you deep lore explorers. "Toh" was mistakenly refering to the wrong symbol.

Without further ado, let's get right into the news:
This time our wonderful Veyerals added 3 new monsters to love, bringing the total to 45! The more the merrier!
One of the new monsters is called a Rage Duet! You can see a quick preview of them down below!
Lots of updates this time, including several warning indicators to enemies' attacks, changed hit zone on Scrambla and Boiler, updated card text and changing bullet colors depending on the background.

Added an option to show the score related karma progress in Story mode and Endless mode
Updates and tweaks -
Some enemy bullet colors change to alternate versions against certain backgrounds to improve visibility
Spike attacks show a warning zone before they strike
Quick gifts in the equipping menu have a rainbow effect to show if they are radiated
Hematoren: Max level extended up to 7 (The new level 7 battle is about the same as the previous level 6)
Roundsaw: added warning indicators for some attacks
Null Roundsaw: added warning indicators for some attacks
Null Roundsaw: lowered the difficulty of several attacks
Sandrome: added warning indicators for her movement

Well well well… Veyerals did it! He managed to update The Void Rains Upon Her Heart DAILY throughout the entire of October adding impressive amounts of content. Want to see the list? Well here is what was added during the second devtober challenge.

Updates and tweaks -
Improved all the card frame art for every type of card.
Bug Fixes -
A few scoring bugs were discovered where a monster part could break multiple times in a single frame. This could cause scores that are much higher than intended. Quickplay scores that are higher than a radiant medal on these battles have been reset down to the radiant score limit. This means that you will keep your radiant medals, but if you want the extra points above radiant, then those will have to be earned again. (Affected battles are Syncron, Roundsaw, Null Roundsaw, Glacia, Null Glacia, and Unit Lulu).
As you can see, the challenge has added so much content including a combined total of 99 dreams and gifts. Several new upgrade gifts were also introduced that will permanently expand the storage capacity and active limits of Quick Gifts for each character. We hope you really like this new feature and as always we continue to take on feedback and listen to your suggestions.
Veyerals have also altered some of the Store page art and updated the back end with new images. These new images are way more visually pleasing to the eye. We also plan on updating the store images and trailer real soon.
There has also been a short update to The Void Rains Upon Her Heart outside of the Devtober Challenge as an apology for me being delayed with this post. (The Flu banished me to the Void) - Here it is in full below. We really look forward to hearing from you all in the comments below and in the forums.
