In our previous developer log we mentioned graphical representations for the anti-air units when reloading and attacking. Progress is coming along nicely; especially considering the developer responsible for implementing the graphics was also working on a clipping issue, which would present itself when a number of units are within the sprite boxes of each other.
Along with the visual changes you will also see a change in reload timers, as they have been reduced to 10 minutes per reload.
Today we are releasing our brand new map Middle East Crisis for 20 players: both as a regular and 4X speed game events. Included in this map is – for the first time ever – a playable terrorist faction starting with I and ending with S. We also set the Coalition Leave Timer for this map to ZERO… to reflect the realities of modern Middle Eastern diplomacy…
Furthermore we added our new logo and started our WORLD CUP SALES BONANZA – if you want to know more, please visit the forum. And finally we buffed both the Tank Destroyer and the Amphibious Combat Vehicle, as well as fixed quite a few nasty bugs we encountered on the way. Enjoy and may the best team win!

Todays general update game experience tweaks have been made which will affect the way you strategise play and heal. Visual treats and overall polish have been included, as we prepare for the release of upcoming content. In part to general balance we have also overhauled role of the Naval Patrol Aircraft. For today's update we are very happy to announce that we have a brand new Global map: World Redux. This comes after popular demand, and we are happy to provide our dedicated players with the opportunity create and play on this map which will provide some heated combat, so it is best you keep your wits about you.
We are aware that some of you have been experiencing technical issues over the past two weeks, and we are continuously working hard to increase performance across all platforms. A big thank you to everyone who assisted us by reporting these issues, today's update is heavily focused on fixes to the back-end.

Today we are releasing a vastly overhauled 28 player Europe Map - which for the time being we are putting on a spawner for all existing and new players. The new map is titled FLASHPOINT EUROPE and reflects the shifting realities of our times. 28 players will be able to experience this exciting world region like never before. With new nations, new independent regions and real world events altering the borders on the map.
This update focuses on a broad range of issues including UI fixes, balancing, server stability, and more. Provincial buildings have received an overhaul which should allow players to respond to advancing hostile forces more quickly. In addition, National Guard has received a boost to their defensive capabilities - especially in urban environment. The National Guard will now be unlocked and available from day one on the new FLASHPOINT map.
