Update - Patch 1.0.3 notes
YUMENIKKI -DREAM DIARY- - cheru
Hi all

YUMENIKKI -DREAM DIARY- has been updated with the following:
  • D-pad now works on menus
  • Some shader issues fixed
  • Fixed a bug where using the Hamsa Effect caused the player to teleport around the level
  • Fixed a bug where pushing a box and entering a door at the same time could cause the player to be unable to move
  • Fixed a bug near the end of the game where the player could spawn out of bounds
  • Fixed a camera movement issue when going backwards in the Mall dream
  • Fixed a bug where some pillows in the room would not animate properly
  • General improvements to character physics
  • Fixed a bug where the player would rotate endlessly when trying to pick up in item off the ground
  • Fixed a bug where after giving an item to an NPC, that NPC would request the item again after revisiting the dream
  • Fixed a bug where some songs had different volumes with respect to the settings
  • Fixed duplicate concept art issue
  • Fixed inverted controls for the DualShock 4 controller for a particular minigame
  • Fixed some objects collisions
  • Fixed a bug where the door to a puzzle room would auto-lock after solving the puzzle
  • Fixed a saving issue that occurred after completing the School dream where it would not save properly
  • Fixed bug where a particular NPC would die in unexpected places

Playing Yume Nikki: Dream Diary is like sitting across from somebody as they explain their dreams to you in great detail. No. Worse than that. It’s like listening to somebody describe an acquaintance’s dreams in great detail.

Every now and then, they pause and say something along the lines of, you had to be there , as people do when they’re telling a funny story that nobody is laughing at. In its transition from tiny sprites, abstract backgrounds and obscure free-form exploration to jerky 3d animation and side-scrolling running and jumping, Yume Nikki has lost almost all of its mysterious horror and charm.

  • Fixed problem where player could fall through the floor in different stages.
  • VSync option is now available in Graphic settings. It is off by default.
  • Fixed a bug where after getting a key for a door, if you leave the dream without opening the door, you could lose the key.
  • Fixed a problem where the camera could get stuck in a particular section.
  • Fixed a problem where you could never take one of four important items.
  • General performance improvement
