The latest version of BRT is now live with the following changes:
New AI system:
Choose between Defensive, Neutral & Aggressive behaviours:
Defensive AIs will retreat when badly hurt and evade incoming fire
Neutral AIs will retreat when hurt but push when they damage the player
Aggressive AIs will attack the player relentlessly and never retreat
New perception system:
AIs start without knowing the player's location
AIs will perceive and react to player visibility, footstep sounds and gunfire in a realistic way
AIs will react to grenades and retreat depending on AI reaction speed
AIs strafe, crouch, jump and relocate around the level
Added the Micro-Uzi SMG & Stock attachment
Added Prone
New 4X scope for 7.62 calibre rifles
Large optimisations on Woodland map foliage
Added multiple random starting locations on the Urban map
Made changes to player leaning
Choosing the "4X" scope selects the correct version for the rifle being used
AI footsteps can be heard more easily
Added sound-effects for grenade bounce
AIs now have an ID number on the "Show Enemies" display
AI icon changes to a cross when an AI is killed
SKS extended mag clip size fixed
Fixed issue with grenade left on map after a restart
Fixed issue with grenades not being throwable
Fixed an issue with gun auto-firing when mouse button was held down and weapon changed
Fixed an issue with graphics on the compensator attachment
