War Robots - Palemoss
War Robots Anniversary: 2021

War Robots turns 7, let’s celebrate!

You get an event coin starting bonus based on how old your account is. Use them to open Special Delivery crates and get the chance to win these valuable rewards:

  • New robot — Orochi
  • Special edition weapons
  • Shell and Orochi paintjobs

This time, you will also find different guaranteed prizes attached to different types of crates. When you complete your progress towards a guaranteed reward, the next crate will provide that particular reward. So now you know for sure what some of those crates have to offer.

Note that the special prize mechanics aren’t going anywhere. The crates marked with a special prize tag will bring you better rewards like they did before.

The battle activities will include:

  • The Gladiator Championship
  • Skirmishes
  • A series of event tasks
Also, check out our new hangar theme!

New map: Abyss

A powerful mining complex located over a gaping volcanic pipe. It belonged to the Defense and Security Conglomerate for decades, supplying natural diamonds to its Martian colonies. Now, other factions see an opportunity to send in mercenary squads and take over. With an artificially caused volcano eruption looming over the battlefield, Commanders are in for a fiery battle.

Teleports: Stolen Icarus technology adapted for production. Stationary teleport platforms will instantly relocate you to another part of the map.

New titan: Sharanga

Designed by Yan-di corporation specifically for long-range battles, Sharanga is the first titan to operate three alpha slots at once. Its improved reactor allows for increased weapon damage, while its phase defense can temporarily neutralize enemies that come too close.

Full Power: The Titan increases its weapons damage.

Phase Exile: The Titan forces the enemy robot to slow down and lose the ability to deal damage, repair allies and capture beacons. However, it also makes the enemy invulnerable to damage and any negative effects at the same time.

New robot: Orochi

Orochi combines a set of technologies from other factions, which were reproduced and optimized by SpaceTech engineers to create a versatile and deadly robot. It is an aggressive robot capable of moving at incredibly fast speeds which is protected by stealth technology. The robot has a built-in weapon with a long-lasting corrosive effect.

Viper Strike: The robot dashes, activates stealth and begins to move at an increased speed, firing corrosive projectiles at the enemy. The ability has 2 charges.

DoT: Deals recurring damage over time to the enemy's hull.

Stealth: Enemy guns cannot target your robot.

New titan weapons: Striker and Krait

Striker

A super-heavy long-range weapon which fires an energy impulse that bounces from one target to another. It also has a charge-up system: the longer you charge the weapon, the more powerful its shot.

Krait

An auxiliary energy machine gun for close and medium range. In addition to its high rate of fire and impressive ammo capacity, it also boasts a DoT effect: every round deals damage over time after hitting a target.

Drones rework

With this rework, we want to make drones more focused and simple to manage, both when you are making a build and on the battlefield. If you see a Wasp drone, you will always know that it's built to sting.

  • No more blueprints. Drones become unique units with specialized roles and predefined characteristics.
  • Each drone will come with a hard-set number of microchip slots that fit its combat role.
  • Each drone will have a unique role-based ability, which will be an enhanced built-in microchip at first.
  • Drones will have less microchip slots overall (meaning they will be cheaper to assemble), and microchips will be more powerful.
  • All microchips will cost 25% less gold.
For a full explanation of this rework, please read this article. You will also find the full details of the microchip rebalance included in the tables at the end of the article.

Gameroom migration

With Facebook Gameroom shutting down this summer, you can now transfer your War Robots progress from Gameroom to either Steam or MY.GAMES. You will also receive a 500 Au bonus for choosing MY.GAMES.

If you play on Facebook Gameroom, you will see a pop-up window when you enter the game which will prompt you to transfer your progress. There will be a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this available in the game menu, but just in case, we'll also explain it here.

To tansfer you progress:

  • Open the main Settings of the game and scroll down to the "Distribution Platform" section.
  • Click "Account Transfer".
  • Copy your temporary ID.
  • Launch War Robots on Steam or MY.GAMES.
  • Open the main Settings on Steam or MY.GAMES and click "Account Transfer" again.
  • Paste your temporary ID and confirm your decision by clicking "Transfer Account".
Your account will be transfered from Facebook Gameroom to the platform you chose. It will no longer be available on Facebook Gameroom.

Important: Do not share your temporary ID with anybody. You might get your account stolen if you do.

Balance changes

Devastator, Havoc, Scatter
  • Reload interval: 1.25 → 1.5 sec
  • Damage: -10%
Close-range builds have a clear advantage over medium-range at the moment. With this nerf, we want to give more space to those who prefer shootouts at a distance.

Hellburner
  • No self-damage on ability explosion
This mechanic has been in the game for quite a while already. With the release of Shell which doesn't receive any self-damage, it started to feel out of place. We have buffed Hellburner by streamlining its ability to be like the one Shell has.

Minor buffs

As always, there's also a list of minor buffs aimed at reinvigorating gameplay in lower leagues:
  • Hover: +10% durability
  • Vityaz: +10% durability
  • Schutze: +7% durability
  • Corona: Reload interval 2 → 1.8 sec
  • Gust and Halo: +10% damage
  • Raven: 20 → 18 sec ability cooldown
  • Griffin: 25 > 22 sec ability cooldown
  • Ao Qin: 50 → 52 km/h maximum speed

Bugs fixed

  • Fixed the Ao Jun flamethrower ability remaining active after landing or not activating during flight.
  • Fixed the issue with the hangar scene not loading when launching the game on older devices.

Event: Lunar New Year 2021

Lunar New Year in War Robots will start soon after update 6.8 lands on your platform.

Three types of Special Crates. Get coins by completing daily tasks and win something valuable and exclusive, like the first special edition titan in the game — Ox Minos. Or:
  • New special editions: Tiger Scatter and Warrior Typhon
  • New robot: Demeter
  • New weapons: Hornet and Magnetar
  • New legendary pilots: Rose Lin (Typhon) and Jerry Fortune (Demeter)
Also don’t miss the Arena and new Skirmishes that will go online later during the event.

New weapons: Hornet and Magnetar

Available from level 5 in special crates during the event

Hornet is a heavy kinetic cannon that applies DOT. High damage per shot and a decent rate of fire makes it a viable option for mid-range sniper builds.

Magnetar is a light medium-range energy autocannon. It immobilizes the target after a certain number of hits. Give a try to Pulsars+Magnetars build — they work well together.

New robot: Demeter

Available from level 27 in special crates during the event

Perfect support. Demeter specializes in repairing damaged allies. This robot can teleport to a friendly target, instantly covering it with an impenetrable Absorber shield. The more damage the shield absorbs, the more durability Demeter restores to nearby teammates.

ABILITY: REPAIRING COVER
Demeter enables Absorber and repairs all allies in ability range. If the ability is used with an ally in target, then Demeter teleports to the ally, increasing Absorber's radius. All damage taken by Absorber strengthens the repairing waves.

ABSORBER Impenetrable shield that can absorb an unlimited amount of damage.

Try using the concentrated fire of your opponents to your advantage.

Report system

You can now report unfair play right from the battle results window. At first, there will be the following reasons for a report:
  • A player uses cheats or speedhacks
  • A player self-destructs most of their robots during a match
  • A player remains inactive throughout the match
  • A player has too powerful hangar for their league
  • A player has inappropriate nickname
If a player gets a certain number of similar reports within a certain period of time, we’ll warn that player. If the reports continue, we’ll take measures. Depending on the situation, the warning may be followed by a temporary ban or transfer to Low Priority Queue.

"What if someone reports me for no real reason?"

Don’t worry — we've got you covered. Firstly, to report a player you need to be in the same match. Secondly, each player can only send that many reports each day. So, if somebody starts reporting a random opponent each match, they’ll quickly reach the report limit. And yes, before an account gets suspended, it needs to accumulate a considerable amount of reports before we take measures. Several occasional complaints won’t result in anything.

To report a player:
  • Select the nickname from the post-combat leaderboard.
  • Open the player’s profile.
  • Tap the red “REPORT” button.
  • Select the reason for the report.
  • Confirm your decision.

Balance changes

Nerfs

Hawk
  • Ability damage against robots: -50%
  • Reflector on takeoff/landing — removed
Hawk was initially designed to counter Titans by piercing through their extreme Defence stat. However, the Titan Slayer turned out to be slaying pretty much anything else — long before the first titans even appear in the match. We want to keep Hawk's role focused on its original promise, so we make its ability less effective against regular robots. And by removing Reflector on takeoff/landing we give other robots more opportunities to fight back.

Nightingale
  • Speed while in flight: 83km/h → 60km/h
  • Repair ability zone: 50m → 75m
  • Gains more altitude when using the ability (cannot capture beacons when flying in most cases)
Nightingale was extremely good both at fixing things and beacon running. This bird is supposed to be a team player, rather than a lone all-rounder going for flanking maneuvers — so we cut its wings a little while making it up with some better repairs.

Scorpion
  • Ability defense points: 100 → 55 (50% → 35% damage reduction)
  • Ability duration: 12s → 8s
For a trickster robot, Scorpion is a bit too tough. Scorpion players often don’t mind engaging two opponents at once, which isn't what saboteurs are supposed to do (at least, not that frequently). With this nerf, we make Scorpion less beefy, requiring you to time ambushes more carefully and avoid concentrated fire.

Quarker, Atomizer, Nucleon
  • Shot interval: 0.1s → 0.15s
Over several previous updates, these weapons became perfect all-rounders. They work well for both burst and sustainable damage tactics. Their average damage per battle is also a bit higher than we want it to be. We decided to make the Atomizer family less powerful in quick attacks, providing more space for other bursty weapons.

Shredder
  • Damage: -10%
  • Cooldown: 3s → 5s
  • Effect accumulation speed: -20%
Shredder is a tier 3 weapon that performed just as well as most of the tier 4 weapons. We reduced its damage to match its T3 peers. It also worked a tad too well for accumulating status effects, which became especially apparent with the advent of drones with control microchips.

Buffs

Nemesis
  • Ability damage: +7%
  • Target adjustment improved: aiming with the ability and hitting targets behind a corner should be easier
Mender
  • Ability defense points: 140 → 175 (58% → 64% damage reduction)
We planned on buffing Mender in 6.3. However, the buff didn't take effect. We're fixing the issue now with this small increase to Mender's survivability.
Inquisitor
  • Movement speed: +3km/h
  • Ability cooldown: 20s → 18s
Invader: Durability: +5%
Jaeger: Built-in weapon damage: +5%
Rayker: Ability damage: +15%
Rhino: Movement speed: +5km/h
Haechi: Movement speed: +2km/h
Marquess, Hussar: Damage: +10%
Weber: Damage: +10%
Blaze, Ember: Damage: +10%
Redeemer: Damage: +7%
Arbalest: Damage: +20%
Shocktrain: Damage: +10%
Exodus: Ammo: +3
Zeus: Damage: +15%
Halo, Corona, Glory: Effect accumulation speed: +5%

Bugs fixed
  • Fixed Shell explosion zone exceeding 100m.
  • Fixed zone indicator disappearing on beacons and robot abilities (Tyr, Hellburner, etc.) after turning camera.
  • Fixed item list not scrolling in Storage when clicking on scroll arrow (Gameroom).
  • Fixed Jaeger getting stuck when using the ability.

  • Fixed weapon visual effects hanging in the air until the end of the match.
  • Fixed Loki weapons facing the wrong direction.
  • Improved performance for several low-end devices.

Drone improvements

Free spawns, more chips, lower prices, less randomness and revamped balance — in the first round of drones improvements.

There were 3 key issues with drones that were often discussed in the community: drones are too expensive to get and maintain, they are too random and they make combat way harder to control and predict.

We looked at the issues at hand and went on to the drawing board — to figure out what we can improve right now according to your feedback.

Here’s what we’re changing.

1. Drone power cell costs — REMOVED

You are now able to spawn every drone for 0 power cells. Yes, that’s right. Got a drone? Feel free to use it whenever you need it.

2. Randomized drone energy capacity — REMOVED

All new drones come with the maximum base energy capacity by default. All drones you already have are also bumped up to their maximum possible base capacity.

WARNING: changes to old drones’ capacity might take a couple of days after the update to apply. If your drone’s capacity didn’t change yet, it will soon!

3. Daily Tasks with microchip rewards added

Tasks with microchip rewards will start appearing in your task log every day. Every day you’ll be able to grab a couple of new T1 microchips just for playing.

4. Microchip Store updated

Microchip store refresh cost is greatly reduced: 50 for the first refresh of the day, 100 for the second and 200 for all subsequent ones.

T3 microchips will now be occasionally appearing in the store. That should let you cut your way past the combining hassle.

T2 Lockdowner, Freezer and Suppressor microchips are removed from the store due to their overwhelming effect in lower leagues. If you have them, you will be able to keep them, but getting new ones will be impossible from now on. (NOTE: you can still get their T3 versions from the microchip store)

5. More control over chip combining

Fusing together microchips of the same name will now yield you the same microchip — just with a higher tier.

6. Microchip rebalance

1. We tune down the power of most T1 and T2 microchips. If you were using the low level chips, you will experience a slight power drop — unfortunately — but we firmly believe that this change has to be made to even out the playing field in lower leagues, where drones only start appearing.

2. Lockdowner, Freezer и Suppressor chips are nerfed. The microchips created too much uncertainty on the battlefield. They allowed every weapon to inflict status effects often even better than effect-focused weapons. That also made situational builds very tricky to use, because everyone suddenly became great at everything.

While we definitely wanted people to have access to special effects on more occasions, making Atomizers as good at locking people down as Pulsars was never the goal. We are tuning down the Lockdowner, Freezer and Suppressor chips to make them less of a must-have. You still should be able to apply effect once per magazine but it'll take a bit longer and thus give your opponent a better chance of countering you actions and making the game more interesting for both of you.

This should also highlight other options for A socket. Anticontrol-focused builds might be a good idea, especially if you don’t want to dedicate a separate robot slot for the Anticontrol module (or want to have it saved as a trump card).

3. Finally, we buff lots of C and B-type chips, while also giving a slight nudge to AC-type weapon chips. Some other T3-4 chips also received buffs. For detailed info on microchip rebalance, please see the table in this article:
https://warrobots.com/en/posts/326

Buffs to speed bonuses

In 6.4 we changed how movement speed bonuses stack together, so all booster-pilot-ability combinations behave in a more consistent way. Certain speed bonuses became less effective as a result — we buff their numbers to make up for that.

  • [Leech Pilot Skill] Thomas's Guile. Speed bonus increased x2 (15% → 30% at max T4 level).
  • [Regular Pilot Skill] Road Hog. Speed bonus increased x1.5 (8.2% → 12.3% / 12.5% → 18.75% at max T4 level).
  • [Regular Pilot Skill] Adamant Road Hog. Speed bonus increased x1.3 (25% → 32.5% at max T4 level).
  • [Regular Pilot Skill] Spy, Scout. Speed bonus increased x1.5 (6.25% → 9.4% at max T4 level).
  • [Regular Pilot Skill] Ghost. Speed bonus increased x1.1 (62.50% → 68.75% at max T4 level).
  • [Booster] Speed Booster. Speed bonus increased x2 (10% → 20%).

War Robots - Palemoss
MAJOR FEATURE: Drones
Unlock at level 27

Drones are combat units that hover around your robot, providing it with different kinds of support. You can deploy drones with your robot, using the same power cells that are spent on active modules. Unlike pilots and modules, drones aren't tied to particular robots — you can select them on the deployment screen before going into battle.

Drones by themselves cannot do much other than hover around. Their combat functions are defined by microchips you install in them. Some microchips unlock their built-in weapons, some allow drones to boost robots’ powers, and some make them react to certain situations (like enemies suppressing or freezing you) in certain ways. You can get basic microchips from the store. Chips of higher tiers can be acquired by fusing together multiple basic chips of the same type for Gold.

There are multiple types or drones, each has a fixed number of microchip sockets. Socket types are randomized every time you get a new Drone. Also, each Drone has a limited battery capacity to allocate between microchips. Limited capacity means that you cannot just beef up your drone with the best chips possible — you have to make certain tradeoffs to fit into the limit. Better chips are more powerful, but consume more of the drone's energy, so you have to look not just for powerful, but for balanced microchip combinations that will give you the best benefits for your fighting style.

Balance Update

Currently, the meta is dominated by close combat burst builds — “get close, kill fast, retreat” is the most prominent tactic by far. We want to give more space for other styles of play: snipers, sustained-damage builds and supports should have their opportunities to contribute to the fight as well.

We attempted to address this with some surgical tweaks, and while this had some local effects (a few select weapons like Atomizers or Thermites play much better now), it didn’t affect the situation as a whole. Hence, we're going for a larger rebalance.

To begin with, we're fixing lots of weapon-related bugs (such as Cryo weapons and Pulsar accuracy issues) and attempting to comprehensively equalize all playstyles by tuning not particular pieces, but whole sets of weapons.

As a result, multiple items take significant nerfs. Some of them got overly generous buffs in the past (Cryogenic weapons, Scourge line), some got too strong with the introduction of the respective pilot (Ao Jun, Ravana, Blitz), some are just too efficient in their respective tiers even after nerfs (Avenger).

On other hand, there are lots of outsiders that are in line for major buffs: Wasp and Sting, long-range Ion, Arbalest and Ballista, sustain-ish rocket launcher Avalanche, as well as Hades, Weyland and Mender. See the details below.

"Super-close" range nerfs

Ravana and Scorpion along with the latest shotgun rework made builds for super-close range (sub-200 meters) incredibly effective — perhaps, tad too effective. We are happy to see new play styles emerging, so our aim with this change is to bring point-blank fighters in line with others instead of making them non-viable. In other words, tune these builds enough so the War Robots won't turn into War Ravanas.

Also — Phase Shift tweak had that coming for a while, so we're actually making it happen. Inability to capture beacons while your robot is "shifted" should promote more active gameplay around the contested zone.

Ravana
Durability: ↓ 10%
Ability duration: ↓ 1 sec
Ability cooldown: 14 → 15 sec
Cannot capture beacons while the ability is active

Phase Shift
Robots cannot capture beacons while the module is active

Storm
Particles per shot: 8 → 6

Sharpshooter (Pilot Skill)
Shoot grouping bonus reduced:
T4: 37.5% → 25%;
T3: 30% → 20%;
T2: 22,5% → 15%;
T1: 15% → 10%

Support robots buffs

Nightingale made repair-bots mainstream — now it is time to bring some attention to the old guard. Weyland had some survivability issues due to its lack of mobility, so we're turning it into a mini-bastion by increasing its damage resistance in Repair Mode. Mender had troubles keeping up with faster teammates, which made its repairs very tricky to utilize — that we're addressing too.

Tyr is okay. Not as okay as Nightingale though, so we've made it a bit okay-er.

Weyland
Added 15% damage mitigation in Repair Mode
Repairs per tick: ↑ 15%

Mender
Mender starts repairing immediately after ability activation
Repair pulses: 4 → 7

Event: WR Anniversary 2020
  • Two kinds of Special Crates. Complete daily tasks, get tokens, open Special Crates with valuable rewards. You can win platinum, a new titan, new weapons and module and a legendary pilot for Ravana!
  • New legendary pilot: Arnav Poe (Ravana)
  • Special editions: Ivory Ravana, Scourge and Atomizer
  • Arena and Skirmishes
New weapons: Quarker and Nucleon
Available from level 5 in special crates during the event

Energy machine guns with unlimited ammo – one is a light weapon and another is heavy. High accuracy makes it effective at medium range, but after long bursts the gun overheats and becomes less accurate.

New module: Overdrive Unit
Available from level 5 in special crates during the event

While the robot's durability is at a critical level, all weapons have increased damage. If a robot has several Overdrive Units equipped, their damage bonuses addup and the activation threshold becomes higher.

New Titan: Nodens
Available from level 30 in special crates during the event

A hovering support fortress and a marvel of EvoLife engineering: Nodens can repair itself and its allies. It possesses the immense firepower of 4 beta-weapons and can reduce the damage dealt by multiple enemies concurrently.

Recommended equipment: 4x Cyclone
  • Active Support: The Titan establishes a link with an ally and gradually repairs both the ally’s and its own durability. It is possible to repair multiple allies simultaneously with each additional link increasing the power of the Titan’s defence system.
  • Disposal: Titan applies Suppression on the targeted enemy as well as other enemy robots in range of the ability. The damage output of the affected robots is lowered by 50%. The ability also deals damage to affected robots.
New weapons: Cataclysm and Cyclone
Available from level 30 in special crates during the event

Alpha and Beta weapons for Titans. These energy weapons strike enemies with an arc of high-energy particles. Damage grows as the distance decreases.

Balance update
All parameters are for MK1 level 12

Blitz
  • Durability: +15%
Blitz was conceived as a dueling robot that wins battles with minimal losses through skillful ability use. However, if Blitz doesn't take cover when its ability goes on cooldown, it's usually as good as dead. We added some durability to increase its chances.

Ravana
  • Ability cooldown: 16 → 14 sec
  • Durability: +10%
  • Movement speed: +5 km/h
Ravana is a very weird tank. It has no shields or suppression, so to survive in the thick of a battle it needs to choose the right moment to use "astral" to survive things like Ares's ability or a volley of frost missiles.

Currently, Ravana is too unforgiving of mistakes — every move counts. We want to give it a bit more freedom with this buff.

Ao Jun
  • Ability cooldown: 20 → 22
  • Flight speed: 115 → 95 kph
Ao Jun is defined by its ability. It allows the white dragon to deal tremendous damage while remaining in relative safety. We don't want to take away this option, but also don't want it to be abused. It's ultimate power, and Ao Jun's pilot needs to be sure that they need that power at that exact moment before pushing the big red button.

Phantom
  • Ability cooldown: 10 → 14 sec
Phantom's situation is similar to that of Ao Jun: great power, not too much responsibility. Its ability is often used only for extra resistances it provides, and the teleportation is a nice add-on that helps it hide while Phantom waits for its ability to come off cooldown. We increased ability cooldown time so it now requires a more thoughtful approach.

Avenger
  • Bullet spray increased by 10%
  • Damage: -15%
We primarily look at statistics from the higher leagues when rebalancing, but this time the situation is a little different. Avenger currently surpasses all options in its price category by far, and the closest alternatives, Thunder and Zeus, have no chance because it outplays them at both medium and close distances. With this change, we're shifting Avenger's focus to close combat and making room for other options in this class.

Avalanche
  • Reload time: 2.5 → 2 sec
  • Missile speed increased
Compared to other heavy missile robots, Avalanche is best from long distances. But it is also very slow, so it just doesn't have time to get enough distance. So we're speeding it up! Both the missiles and reloading.

Thermite
  • Damage: +20%.
  • Missile speed increased
Thermite was intended to be a heavy version of Vortex and Aphid: a missile launcher that shoots from cover, a powerful and annoying machine that requires being able to skillfully maneuver. But other heavy slot options were leaving Thermite in the dust. (Do you like experiments? Try Thermite on Strider!)

Tsar
  • Reload time: 5 → 4 sec
Shooting less often but deadlier sounds great in theory, but in practice Tsar was too slow to compete with options like Gendarme, even with its AoE damage. We're giving it a boost!

Pulsar and Shredder
These weapons will no longer immobilize randomly, but after a certain number of hits.

The accumulation mechanic has worked wonderfully for shotguns and freezing guns. It's time to get rid of the last pillar of random — now you and your allies fully control the moment when Pulsar and Shredder disable the enemy's legs.

Usability & Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue that caused certain players to lose access to game mode selection even if they are not in the Low Priority Queue
  • Invader doesn't explode while in the air anymore
  • Arachnid Invader's gun controls are placed properly now
  • Fixed an issue that made it impossible to join a squad in certain conditions
  • Minor UI adjustments

Also, updated versions both of Reactor and Armor Kit modules are now available. They work exactly like damage and durability modules for regular robots.

Tweaks and Fixes

  • Skirmishes are back! Woo-hoo!
  • Multiple Titan-related bugfixes
  • Cryo reload animation now works properly
  • Multiple robots shouldn't pile up in the same hangar slot anymore
  • Titan upgrade animation is much faster now

We have also resolved multiple performance-dropping issues. The game should run significantly smoother on certain devices.

Hello there, commanders! Welcome 5.6 update, full of GIANT COOL THINGS. Ahem, I mean Titans. And Christmas event. And balance updates. Buckle up, we're going in!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZRvXWbSLtw

MAJOR FEATURE: TITANS

Titans are a new type of robots that you can deploy once per battle. They are bigger and more powerful than regular robots and unlock at account level 30. Once you get there, you will receive the first Titan, Kid, for free, and can use it right away.

Titans come with a bunch of supporting systems:

  • Platinum — a new resource that is used to obtain Titans, their equipment and also for their upgrades. Currently, you can get Platinum from daily tasks.
  • Three-way Upgrade System — when upgrading Titan, you can select between Hull (which is all about Titan's durability), Engines (speed) and Core (ability and utility systems). Upgrade everything at once or select one thing and back to the rest later.
  • Instant upgrades — all Titan upgrades are instant. No timers. No waiting.
  • Titan Equipment — Alpha-weapons (strong and playstyle-defining) and Beta-weapons (slightly weaker, yet more versatile)
  • New Hangar & Updated UI — new Hangar, Store and Inventory screens are more clean, fast and responsive. Other menus are set to be updated in the future updates.

Christmas Event

  • Special Crates. Complete daily tasks, get tokens, open Special Crates with powerful loot. You can win top-tier robots, Cryogenic weapons, Candy Viper, Giftbringer Fenrir and a legendary pilot to control it!
  • New Special Editions: Giftbringer Fenrir, Candy Viper
  • New Legendary Pilot: Nicolas Wodanson (Fenrir)
  • New paint jobs: Moroz Leech, Mistletoe Loki

Balance Update

Tyr and Fenrir

Starting with 5.6, Tyr will be launching a strong repairing pulse after going into Support mode. This should make juggling forms mid-fight more rewarding.

Tyr — launches additional repairing pulse after switching into Support Mode
Fenrir — Aegis shield restores 10% faster

Haechi and Kumiho

Following the Bulgasari buff from the last balance update, we are giving the same treatment to Haechi.

Haechi — ability Cooldown 15 → 13 sec; Shield Durability 59k → 67.9k (+15%)
Kumiho — durability 150k → 165k (+10%)

Weapon tweaks

[BUFF] Dragoon, Marquess and Hussar

Marquess. Damage 2625 → 2888 (+10%)
Hussar. Damage 3400 → 3740 (+10%)
Dragoon. Damage 8750 → 9188 (+5%)

[BUFF] Blaze

Damage (per particle) 263 → 276 (+5%)
Damage radius slightly increased

[BUFF] Shocktrain

Usability & Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue that made Ancient Tyr's shield practically unbreakable
War Robots - PXNC_Stan
Welcome back, commanders! Update 5.5 is here, with Halloween event, Leech pilot and new module. Trick or treat!

New weapons: Rime, Cryo, Glacier

First available during the Halloween event (as Sinister Pack)

Rime (light), Cryo (medium) and Glacier (heavy) are rocket launchers that can freeze enemy robots after landing a certain number of rockets. Once the effect triggers, the target’s movement speed gets drastically reduced and its armour gets more fragile, causing a robot to receive more damage from all sources.

New active module: Shieldbreaker

While the module is active, your robot’s weapons will ignore any energy shields. Does not affect the durability of enemy shields.

Event: Halloween

  • Special Crates. Complete daily tasks, get tokens, open Special Crates with powerful loot. You can win the top-tier robots, the legendary pilot for Leech and new Halloween-themed weapons!
  • Halloween weapons: Cryogenic Pack. Sinister editions of Cryo, Glacier, Rime — available during the event!
  • New Legendary Pilot: Thomas Mindread (Leech)

Cosmetic map tweaks

As we're getting ready for the Titans, maps have received some cosmetic tweaks to accommodate for the presence of those robots.

Usability & Bug Fixes

  • Special Edition robots (Eldritch Ares, Imperial Hades, Ancient Tyr, etc.) now have 5% extra durability to compensare for their inability to use Legendary paintjobs
  • Fixed an issue that caused Phantom to clip through certain buildings after teleporting
  • Fixed a glitch that sometimes sent you into space instead of showing you a paint job selection screen
  • Fixed an issue causing Ancient Tyr's stats to differ from regular Tyr's
  • Resolved multiple crash scenarios across all iOS and Android devices
