Good day, Commanders! Update 5.4 is here, with Leech, Yan-Di Showdown event and new limited map. Let's dig in!
New robot: Leech
Leech is a damage dealer with 4 medium slots.
Robot's ability allows you to link to a targeted enemy, gaining damage resistance and redirecting part of the incoming fire to the enemy.
New event: Yan-Di Showdown
Special Crates. You can win Leech, Behemoth, Phantom and new limited weapons!
Special Arena: Yan-di Colosseum. Fight 1v1 on Phantom or Falcon on a new experimental map during the first weekend of the event! Two pilots enter, one pilot leaves!
New event weapons: Yan-di Pack. Limited editions of Avenger and Corona — available only during the event!
New Legendary Pilots: Cormac de Vos (Falcon) and Olga Minina (Phantom), celebrity robogladiators from the Yan-di Showdown tournament
Usability & Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue with connecting game profile to Facebook
Fixed an issue with incorrect Pilot levels being shown
Fixed a bug that made Tyr move slower than it should (Tyr's movement speed should increase)
Fixed an exploit that spawned unkillable Weylands
Fixed an issue with Legendary trophies not being shown in the Commander profile
For every battle you receive Operation XP and Operation levels, unlocking extra rewards. You can purchase Operation Pass to get even more loot — including exclusive versions of robots, legendary pilots and more.
With Operations, there come other changes:
Regular daily tasks reduced. However, you should receive more gold than before overall — with added rewards from the Operation challenges and the Operation itself
New post-combat screen
Ranking by Honor instead of damage
New robots: Behemoth and Phantom
Behemoth is designed to be a powerful sniper: in a travel mode this robot has 2 heavy slots active, but can enter the stationary mode to unfold 2 more. 4 heavy slots total — that's quite a punch!
Phantom is a saboteur with 1 medium and 2 light slots. By pressing the ability it leaves a translocator device to which Phantom can instantly teleport by reactivating the ability. While translocator is active, Phantom moves faster and takes less damage.
Fortifier improves your robot's shields in various ways:
For physical shields (including ECU) Fortifier increases durability
For energy shields (including Ancile) and Aegis it increases durability and regeneration rate
Absorber isn't affected by Fortifier
Phase shift is a powerful module for extra defense and playmaking under heavy duress. Upon activation, shifts you to a parallel dimension for a short duration. While this effect is active, you are immune to all damage but cannot shoot.
Now Honor is an integral stat that shows your overall performance in battle. Beacons, kills, repairs, broken shields, and many other achievements increase your Honor and affect your standing in the combat results.
How to earn honor
Do damage
Repair
Destroy
Capture beacons
Save up tokens in Free-For-All
Fight to the end
Win
But wait, there's more: you get more Honor in higher leagues. Fighting there is harder, and taking that extra challenge has to be rewarded as well.
Usability and bug fixes
[Pilots] Fixed a bug with Quartermaster skill: now it should be properly usable when you're low on power cells
[Pilots] Fixed a bug with Adamant skills causing them to remain active when requirements are not met
[Pilots] Multiple minor fixes
[Tyr] Fixed placement of top weapons on Tyr. This should prevent homing-missiles from hitting the ground when they shouldn't
[Visual] Fixed a bug causing lighting in hangar to become overly bright in certain conditions
[Performance] Fixed a bug causing sudden FPS drops on certain devices
Hello, players! The big news here. Lore is finally coming to War Robots! What is the story of this world? How does it work? What are factions? Why do we fight?
Meet the brand-new feature, real people in War Robots. Pilots!
PILOTS
Human characters with stories and personalities — for the first time in War Robots!
Pilots are available starting at account level 23. Watch this video for an extensive overview of the feature.
[Passive] Protects against Lock-down and Suppression
The module activates automatically upon contacting Lock-down or Suppression. It instantly removes both of these effects, making you immune to them for a short duration.
If 3 maxed modules are installed, your robot becomes permanently immune to both effects.
Advanced Repair Unit
[Active] Repairs quicker
Restores a considerable portion of robot's durability. More effective than the regular Repair Kit but requires more Power Cells.
Death Mark
[Active] Makes an enemy vulnerable to all damage
The module marks the chosen target, so it will temporarily receive more damage from all sources. The mark is visible for all teammates, which is useful when you need to focus fire on one target.
HUD IMPROVEMENTS
We have remade the profile screen to fit Pilots and Modules and also created some space for future improvements.
Also, there are now advanced options for status effects indication. Now you can select whether or not you want to see the full list of status effects affecting your current target (by default, you only see the strongest active effect).
BUG FIXES
Fixed a bug causing advanced options to reset after changing them in combat
Fixed an exploit allowing to be logged into the game from multiple devices
Fixed an issue causing some equipment to take longer to upgrade. Affected equipment: Ballista, Flux, Exodus, Spark, Raven, Bulwark, Falcon
Hey there, commanders! War Robots is 5 years old. Yes, that's right - 5! The anniversary update (which, coincidentally, has the same number) comes with a huge pack of cool things. Here they are!
During the event, ALL equipment upgrades require 25% less silver. Great time to give your hangar a makeover!
Special Delivery
Complete event tasks, get tokens and win new equipment. Each day you receive 3 new tasks. If you complete all three, you get enough to open one crate.
Here's what you can get from the crates:
Full robots: Ragnarok Squad, Eldritch Ares, Imperial Hades, Infinity Nemesis
Ragnarok Squad components (500-2500)
Blaze, Marquess, Calamity components (1000 or full weapon)
Au: 300 - 1000
Power Cells: 1500
Arena Season
Arena is a competitive mode where all contestants have same hangars and same starting conditions. Everyone contributes some gold to the prize pool and fights for the top prize. If you're good at War Robots, it is a great time to prove it!
Special Editions: Ares and Hades
During the event, you can get Eldritch Ares and Imperial Hades from the Special Delivery crates. Later on they will be added to the Super Chest.
Robots: Ragnarok Squad
Shapeshifter robots Loki, Tyr and Fenrir will first be available in Special Delivery crates during the event.
Original, non-dragon versions of these weapons will first be available in Special Delivery crates during the event.
Balance changes (Robots, Weapons, Modules)
The list of balance changes is to big this time that we decided to write all the details on our website. Here they are https://warrobots.com/en/posts/290
Paint Jobs and Special Editions
Eldritch Ares
Imperial Hades
Infinity Nemesis
Arctic Haechi
Redline Hellburner
Bug fixes
[Matchmaking] Fixed an issue causing teams of several 2-3 people squads to get matched against solo players
[UI] Added in-combat interface options menu. You can now select whether or not you want to see your teammates' durability bars mid-game
[Weapons] Fixed an issue with Glory sometimes not dealing damage when it should
[Robots] Hover shouldn’t get stuck between buildings near beacon E anymore
[Robots] Fury doesn’t get stuck on slopes on Castle
[Modules] Added sounds for Repair Kit and Lock-down Ammo modules activation
[PC] Fixed several issues/exploits for Steam/Gameroom version
This set of changes is the biggest one we ever introduced. If you get something from the chests, it will either be universal resources (Silver, Gold, Keys) or items you can immediately start using.
We also got rid of Boosters. As handy as they are, that's not a very fun reward to get — so we removed them from all chests.
Hey, pilots! Update 4.7 brings Lunar New Year event along with new dragon robots, exclusive weapons, balance changes and upgrade timers reduction. Let's jump in!
Reminder! We reverse the renewed graphics with this update, as stated in this announcement.
Dragons' ability allows them to fly. When Dragons are on the maximum height, they activate an extra weapon that keeps shooting as long as you're flying.
Red Ao Qin is an affordable robot for middle leagues. When flying, it activates a long-range energy beam that automatically sticks to the target in range.
Green Ao Guang is the most reliable Dragon. When flying, it takes significantly less damage from all sources. Equipped with homing missiles for mid-range shootouts.
White Ao Jun is made for high-risk high-reward attacks. Built-in flamethrower works best for fighting up-close, and Stealth that activates in the flight mode lets Ao Jun cover large distances safely.
Lancelot Movement speed (at level 12): 30 → 33 kph, side shields durability: +12,5%
Stalker Movement speed: 66 kph at all levels
Gepard Durability: +10%
Bulwark Physical shield: +10%
Buffs for weapons:
Shredder Bullet spread reduced
Sting, Wasp Damage +10%
Redeemer, Thunder Damage +5%
Ion Damage +7.5%
Hellburner nerf
Ability duration: 7 → 5 sec, Ability cooldown: 3 → 5 sec - reduces the speed advantage (Hellburner now has to close the distance more carefully) - gives skilled Hellburner players more control over their explosions (as the delay before explosion is lower now)
Self-inflicted damage (on ability use): 15000 → 12.5% of max durability - makes mistakes more costly on higher levels
Ability damage upon death: 59750 → 29875 - makes dying on Hellburner less rewarding
Upgrade timers reduction
At some levels upgrade timers stretch for too long. We want exciting milestones to happen more often, so we cut down upgrade times across the whole weapons/robots list.
Medic Mender & Reanimator Weyland (by Red Rooster) as well as Urban Raptor Inquisitor (by Battledrone 82) enter the game. Thank you, guys - great work!
Greetings, pilots! After the release of remastered graphics update, we’ve spent lots of time gathering your feedback and analysing our data. That’s the reason we’ve been rather silent recently - we wanted to know our next steps and come with a decision made.
First of all, thank you for your feedback! Although beta-version was a success, the main branch release didn’t go as flawlessly as we expected. As we’ve said, this exclusive update for Steam was an experiment and depended heavily on your reaction.
We’ve seen all threads and discussion, this one this one in particular (special thanks to Bio-Break!). And based on your feedback, we’ve decided to reverse the graphics. The change comes with 4.7 update (coming in the nearest future).
The remastered graphics update was an important experiment for us, and we will definitely use this experience to further develop all War Robots platforms.
Hello there, pilots! Update 4.6.1 with remastered graphics is here. Meet War Robots you've never seen before - renewed and fresh!
As beta-version was a success, we implement the same changes (as well as bug fixes) in the main branch. This is the first exclusive update for War Robots Steam, so its future depends heavily on your feedback!

remade Canyon map from scratch
changed the lighting on all the other maps
improved animations, battle effects and shaders
added graphics settings (Auto, Low, Middle, High)
improved sounds
Important! New version has higher system requirements.
Minimal system requirements: OS: Windows 7 Processor: Intel Quad Core / AMD Phenom X4 or better Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Geforce GTX 460 or higher DirectX: Version 11.0 or higher Storage: 4.5 GB available space
How do I leave feedback?
You can write any feedback here wr_steam@pixonic.com Loved new graphics? Want to say thank you? Found a bug or encountered a problem? Don't hesitate to write!
Note! If something goes off the rails, we will roll the update back until further notice. We hope everything will be alright and you will enjoy it — keeping fingers crossed🤞
Now go and play! Tell us how it feels in the comments👀
Modules are the new sort of equipment that gives your robots unique perks and abilities. With one module you can escape certain death once per battle. Another allows you to hunt stealthed targets. With third, you can patch yourself up on the go — and so on.
Active modules give your robots new active abilities. To use them you need special Power Cells that you acquire from many sources.
Passive modules are more like regular equipment. You can buy for Gold and upgrade them for Silver like your weapons or robots. Some passive modules increase your stats. Others are more skill-based: you should think fast and act smart to make the most out of their perks.
Power Cells starter bonus
To ensure that everyone can start using Active Modules right away, we give a hefty amount of power cells to all pilots, both active and returning. The higher your league is, the more Power Cells you receive. You can find the exact numbers here.
Battle Rewards changes
WR Royale Tokens removed from Battle Rewards
Power Cells added to Battle Rewards
Bug fixes

Bulwark - fixed a bug causing rockets to deal double damage to Aegis barrier
Mender, Weyland - fixed a bug causing Repair not to restore robot's Durability in certain conditions
