It's the third monthly devlog. Daily updating work has continued for about a hundred of days! Thanks all of you!
Let's check what we've added into game this month!
1.New contents
We added lots of new contents as usual.
Including a dozen of functionality buildings, which help you get more survival experiences on the sea in a post-apocalypse world. Also, a dozen of new kinds of craft buildings, base on which you can build a more great ship. We've also added a dozen of new equipment and several new kinds of creature.
New functionality buildings.
Machine gun turret.
harpoon turret.
Cannon.
Mini Hermit.
Steam Propeller.
Charcoal Kiln.
Steam buildings now consume water and charcoal instead of water and wood.
Fish Man Workbench. It could only craft energy bow for now. It would be able to craft more fish man tech items in the future.
New craft buildings.
4 new window buildings.
Remake the model of metal wall.
Enhanced the models or corner walls.
3 structures: Fishiron wall, Fishiron raft and Fishiron stairs.
Add a new kind of inclined wall.

2.Customize your character!
We've received many feedbacks about character creation since Last Wood launched EA, which said it's too frustrating to click [Random] hundreds of times to get a favored character.
Actually, every character [generated] in game owns his or her own back stories. Perks, traits and skill levels all depend on those back stories. For example, Adam met a mysterious thing in his childhood might lead to a perk [Nightmare].
We hope it can be a bit different from other games, where charaters can be customized freely.
But, we also want to make it less frustrating on this process. So, we changed the process for character creation.
Now, you have 5 points for each character when [creating] him/her. Back stories of a character generates a pool of perks for him/her, and a series of base skill levels.
You can use these points to select perks from the pool, or add extra skill levels. It will lead to a more interesting character creation.
3. An extra tool slot
Survivors can equip a weapon and a tool simultaneously now. Use it just like other slots.
4. Some kinds of buildings are movable now.
No need to demolish and build a new one!
Click a building, and the [migrate] button is here.
5. More functionality about jobs
Some enhancement.
Built-in jobs can be changed name and deleted.
No need to set a job before renaming it.
You can set a global temporary job for everyone.
When you need all of your survivors to do a certain job, you can try this. They will go back to their original work, if they were assigned a job before.
You can view and change jobs for survivors on the survivor panel.
No need to open priority panel to assign job for survivors anymore.
Survivors can be sorted by job on the priority panel.
Which will helps you a lot to group survivors by their jobs.
6. Utilities
A switch to toggle weather effect.
Add a switch to toggle decorative effects.
Add a toggle on storage panel, which can be used to hide all entries whose corresponding item not exists in that building.
Add a [Open Save File Folder] button on system panel.
Now window can be maximum in window mode.
Add indicators to show pipe buildings connection state.

You can set interval day count for auto saving.
Now you can configure a number to keep auto save files at a certain count.
7. Communicate more with devs!
We always take every single feedback from community very seriously. Every single question or feedback either on Steam or Discord Group(), which we reply as soon as possible.
Of course, there is also a fast way in game to report -- press F2 and tell what happened. This functionality helps us locates and fix many bugs and issues.
We've received nearly 2,000 [F2] report from over 20 different countries. Thanks all of you!
We checked every feedback, and sometimes, we wanted to write a reply to whom uploaded that [F2], such as simply a word of thanks or an anwser to a question. But it was hard for us to do so, since we had no idea how to contact back.
So, we introduce a new panel here. You can check our replies on this panel!
Q:How to open it? A:Press [F2] to open bug report panel, click the button on the top-left.
Then once we replies, there will be shown.
8. Other significant changes
artificial limbs have different effects now.
Optimization work on AI
Survivors will take reasonable amount of food when they want to eat or drink.
Now survivors are smarter to select route to land an island.
Enemies now will do more kinds of things after killing survivors.
Optimization on interaction experiences
More commands can be given to survivors: Right click to craft Right click to eat piles on the ground Right click to eat food in a storage box
Most of the panels are draggable now.
Selecting items is easier when you build a multi-floor big ship.
Now some kinds of items can be only sold under a certain price.
Mutants now are more stronger than normal human being enemies.
All kinds of floatage can trigger flotage guide.
Add attack effect for crab man, giant and relic giant.
Crab man now will drop a new material: crab egg.
Add a new building: Mini Hermit. It's a hermit turrent.
We're doing some optimization work on memory usage and CPU consumption these days. So it will be less frequently to add contents and gameplays daily during this period.

Attached a tool to decode and encode save files in game installing directory.
Fix the bug that the water pump doesn't consume charcoal.
Fix the bug that fish-man workbench has 3 same fishing-rod recipes.
Adjust the build UI hierarchy of some buildings.

Increased storage limit for materials of automatic buildings.
Fix the issue that tools will disappear after a reload.
Fix the bug that steam fan could not be selected.
Fix the display error of some building locations.
Increase the wood storage volume of charcoal klin.
