Today's patch brings the brand-new Barbarian Bundle to the ingame store. This premiere vanity set gives your character an epic high-fantasy look, and includes a costume item for each armor and cape slot. The bundle also includes the fearsome new War Beast mount skin, which gives your Direwolf base mount an equally fearsome appearance.
The set also includes a matching avatar and avatar ring to add to your collection, which can be freely used independently of the other costume items, and mixed and matched with other costumes, avatars, and rings.
In total, the bundle includes seven vanity unlocks, which can be used on all current and future characters on your account (both male and female) with a single purchase.
How to Get the Barbarian Bundle
This complete bundle is available in the ingame store, and includes the following items:
Barbarian's Helmet
Barbarian's Harness
Barbarian's Boots
Barbarian's Cape
War Beast Direwolf Skin (requires Direwolf base mount)
Barbarian Avatar
Barbarian Avatar Ring
NOTE: While the costume and mount skin items will immediately unlock for all other characters on your account via the Appearance menu, the avatar and avatar ring will need to be claimed via the shop for each character.
Pick up this most barbaric of bundles today and send your foes scattering in fear!
In our newest Dev Talk, Albion's Game Director, Robin Henkys, introduces the major changes coming to Faction Warfare with the Call to Arms update. (Note: since this is a huge feature with lots to discuss, we'll have multiple videos covering this topic.)
As many of you know, Faction Warfare has been in the game for quite a while now. In this system players can sign up for one City Faction and go fight on behalf of their city against enemy Faction NPC and players. They can capture Outposts and earn Faction Points to spend on Faction rewards.
Key goals of the rework:
Accessible and inclusive for all players on the Royal Continent
Meaningful incentives for loyalty to a city
Exciting large-scale battles that are easy to join and reward participation
Supporting existing Faction Warfare players and ensuring their current full-loot system is continued and improved
So how will these goals be met?
1. Accessible and inclusive:
Faction Warfare in yellow and blue regions is now non-lethal, so new players can engage with this feature without losing their gear
Faction Warfare in the red zones remains lethal
Increased number of red zones in the world
Red zones have higher value Faction Point targets for advanced players
2. Faction loyalty:
Enlistment and flagging up is now a two-step process:
Step 1: enlist with a Faction to become a permanent member
Step 2: actively flag up to actually fight on their behalf
If you choose to un-flag, you will still remain enlisted
As long as you remain enlisted, you will keep your rank and other advantages, encouraging loyalty to a chosen Faction
3. Large-scale battles:
Lets new players gain their first experience in open-world warfare, while veteran players can participate during periods of low guild activity
Focuses on bringing opposing Factions into conflict via a “front line”, where large battles occur frequently and players can easily join
To achieve this, we made regions of the world map conquerable
To conquer a region, a Faction needs to control and hold the majority of Outposts within it
Controlling a region allows you to push the front line further towards the enemy while protecting your own regions
In yellow and blue regions, players knocked out can rejoin the battle from a nearby friendly Outpost, so retaining control of Outposts is critical
Should a region get separated from the rest of your regions, you will no longer be able to respawn there, cutting you off from reinforcements
Players can use this to their advantage by capturing regions strategically and breaking an enemy’s supply line
4. Faction rewards:
Players will still be rewarded in Faction Points, which they can spend at their Faction stores
Earn points by capturing Outposts and whole zones
The value of capturable objectives increases over time, offering an incentive to push behind enemy lines
Players are also rewarded for defense, as regions generate more points the longer they are held
In addition to immediate rewards, a weekly report sums up your performance and rewards additional points based on personal and overall Faction success
Notes on red zone play:
Red zones give the same rewards, but in much greater amounts
With no respawning at Outposts, red-zone players will have to maneuver carefully and strategically
In addition to generating much higher rewards, the red zones will have a new enemy to be announced soon
The Faction Warfare rework is so large we’ve split it into multiple videos – join us next time where we’ll discuss Faction Rewards, ranks, balancing, and the all new Faction Seasons.
Patch 13, AKA the Rise of Avalon Balance Patch, is now live! This patch brings numerous changes to Avalonian mobs, big meta changes to combat balancing, a long-awaited quality of life improvement, and more. Here's what's new:
Updated Avalonian Mobs
Patch 13 improves the overall experience of Elite Dungeons, offering a more streamlined combat experience while fighting Avalonians while retaining the challenge of these high-level enemies. Most high-damage Avalonian spells can no longer be reflected, the Construct's "blind spot" has been removed, and the skills of the High Priestess, Crystal Basilisk, and Sir Bedivere have been updated to keep you on your toes.
Keeping the Meta Fresh
This patch contains numerous changes to combat abilities across a wide range of weapons, armor, and equipment, with the primary goal of addressing the meta in small-scale PvP and Corrupted Dungeons. A new Mace ability, Guard Rune, has been added, the Guardian Helmet's Emergency Heal has been reworked as Emergency Shield, and several Battle Mounts have reduced cooldowns to keep them competitive in open-world combat.
Rejoice: The Use-All Button is Here
Free yourself from the tyranny of endless clicking, and use all your Silver Bags and Tomes with a single button click. Patch 13 introduces the Use All Button, perhaps Albion's most-requested feature of all time. If you missed the teaser trailer, you can watch it in all its glory here:

We've been hinting at the next major update for Albion Online for some time now... and in our latest Dev Talk, Game Director Robin Henkys finally makes it official!
The next Balance Patch in early February adjusts combat balance values, adds a new ability for Maces, and updates some combat abilities. These changes address the meta in Corrupted Dungeons, improving the balance of different builds in 1v1 and small-group PvP.
In addition, this patch will bring the long awaited “Use All” button for bags and Tomes, improvements to Avalonian enemies, and limiting the ability to set a "Home" at Hideouts to those owned by your guild, or Level 3 Hideouts owned by your alliance.
Next Update: Call to Arms
As the Season builds up to its finale, we’re preparing to release the next big content update for Albion Online: Call to Arms. Public playtesting is expected to begin in mid-February, and in the coming weeks we'll release more Dev Talks.
Here's an overview of what this update will bring:
Faction Warfare 2.0
Call to Arms will focus on introducing the next stage of City Faction Warfare, including:
Ability to control entire regions
A front-line battle system that encourages competing Factions to fight in the same regions
Rewards for loyalty to a city, with points for both attacking enemies and defending owned regions
Monthly Faction Campaigns with valuable rewards
Powerful new Faction Mounts
A new Faction offering a unique playstyle for advanced players, including its own Faction cape and mount
Alongside these changes, we’re expanding the Royal Continent and adding a recurring Faction Warfare event in the center of the continent to encourage high-stakes conflict. In our next Dev Talks, we’ll go in-depth with this system, and explore the opportunities it offers veteran players and beginners alike.
Hellgates Re-Envisioned
The second major gameplay feature in Call to Arms is a massive improvement of Hellgates, including:
10v10 Hellgates for mid-sized PvP at any time
Significant improvements to Hellgate graphics and gameplay
A large variety of new Hellgate layouts
A new and improved matchmaking system
A “rising lava” mechanic to prevent stalling strategies
Inclusion of many of the demonic creatures introduced with Corrupted Dungeons
A Hellgate Infamy system, allowing players to improve their rewards and measure their success against others
This overhaul of Hellgates aims to address gameplay concerns brought to us by longtime players, as well as open one of Albion’s most exciting PvP features to more players. We'll have a full Dev Talk on the new Hellgates soon.
Additional Features
Call to Arms will also include a moving-vegetation graphics upgrade to bring plants to life, plus two major convenience improvements: improved Ability Tooltips and Loadouts.
The new Tooltips make understanding and comparing different spells and abilities much easier, as all spells will have colored tags and reworked descriptions to improve readability.
Loadouts will let players save equipment sets to quick-equip from bank chests and battle vaults. Loadouts can be shared with other players via chat or ingame mail, and made available to guilds to help recruit new players into specific roles. The feature can also be used to strategize about builds via a preview of the stats and estimated cost of a Loadout. We’re also working on quick-buy of saved Loadouts, which we hope to release in a patch shortly after the update.
We'll explore all these features in-depth in more Dev Talks over the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
Once it was just a rumor, spoken of in hushed tones, cried out for by countless index fingers exhausted from clicking...
But a rumor spoken enough, echoing through the vast halls of YouTube comments and forum threads, may become a reality...
Behold the arrival of Albion's probably most-requested feature of all time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5h8XjI9O0c Patch 13 arrives on February 2, and in addition to the shiny new Use All button, it will bring numerous combat balance changes to shake up the meta, updated Avalonian mob spells, further mobile optimizations, and more.
The patch is currently live on the Staging server, and as always, can be tested by anyone whose account was active on Live before the last database update. For more information on how to log into the Staging server, as well as the current Staging patchnotes, visit the Testserver Feedback forum.

Guild name: ROLL BACK Alliance: French Baguette Inquisition (FB1) Guild leaders: Ophyte Date founded: May 2019 Number of members: 168+ Primary language: French
Tell us about your guild. What sort of activities do you focus on? What sort of members are you looking for?
ROLL BACK was formed by Majiik. We didn't really have any goals until we realized the potential of the French community. We decided to open our enrollment to everyone who wanted to be a part of a fully French-speaking guild. We are mainly in the EU timezone and focus on every possible activity in the game: ZvZs, ganking, Crystal League, PvE, Hellgates, gathering, and more. We have a spot for any French player willing to make a long-term commitment who is ready to show the world that the “frogs” can be competitive and remain strong together.
Where is your guild primarily located? What regions in Albion do you focus on?
We are located primarily in the eastern part of Thetford, where we work closely with our alliance FB1.
Do you have any particular rivalries or ongoing quarrels with other guilds?
Not at the moment. We try to maintain good relations even if we have to fight against a friendly guild. We have great respect for the few French guilds that exist, though competition is always a good thing.
What were some of your most memorable battles/activities?
There are many. When we recently kicked our founding GM Majiik, we were all in T4 gear with Bedrock Maces trying to kill him in a 1 vs 40+ fight. There were some epic fights when we left ARCH and went to Fort Sterling. We were the little guys who fought Black Order, there was one castle fight where we rushed them and won with no casualties.
We've always known we have potential, and it's very rewarding to see ourselves improving in all aspects of the game.
What does your guild do for fun?
We have a few events like a donkey race with rewards where you have to run a certain distance, like around Avalon, and come back alive. We do a Zero to Hero event where we start with low-level gear and have to loot our way up, and we have fun with ganking and gathering sessions too.
What is your approach to the game?
Our guild tries to improve in every aspect of the game but mainly ZvZs and Crystal League, since we want to make a home for all French-speaking players who want to join us. Our main focus is to unite all our members in the fun and competitive world of ZvZ.
What are your goals for the future?
To achieve Gold rank, keep having fun, and show Albion how strong the French community can be.
We welcome players who meet our requirements:
French-speaking
15M PvE Fame / 3M PvP Fame
Be respectful of both your friends and your enemies
Have a microphone and Discord
Join us and be a part of one of the few full French guilds active in Albion!
