How did you get into streaming? How long have you been an Albion streamer?
I’ve only just got into streaming actually. I started in early April after successful growing my YouTube channel, and with the F2P launch I wanted to help all the newer players understand the game better. Over the last two weeks the support has been insane, I got Twitch Affiliate within a week and hit over 1,400 followers and 85+ subscribers in my first two weeks of streaming. The Albion community is GOD TIER!
How is streaming Albion different from streaming other games?
I wouldn’t know too much about this, but from a viewer standpoint the game is full loot PvP and there can be stream snipers, etc. So covering up your minimap and zoning area is highly important for anyone streaming Albion.
What is your general approach to streaming? Do you plan out activities in advance, or head out into the world and see what happens?
It all depends on where I left off the day before, I started a whole new account that’s 100% SOLO content, so both PvE and PvP, and it’s completely from scratch. So one day I might be up a couple million Silver so I can go out and PvP all stream, or if I die a lot it’ll be a rebuild stream, which is also good to show newer players how easy it can be to make money in Albion. But I love Albion because I can zone out from a city and do whatever I want, it’s completely up to you what you wanna do and when you want to do it.
Any ideas of new content for future streams?
I really want to get into streaming large scale Zerg vs Zerg fights with Blue Army, hopefully within a couple weeks we’ll be seeing that content on my channel.
But for now I wanna focus on my solo build account and see how far I can get it, as I’m nearly Tier 7 on my build.
Do you have any advice or tips for other players who are considering being Albion streamers?
Make sure you cover your map and other areas to limit stream snipers, engage with the chat and show off the content Albion Online has to offer… that’s SOOO MUCH different content to show others and for others to enjoy.
Anything else to add?
Just wanna say thanks for the massive support on both my YouTube channel and on Twitch from the Albion Online community, it really has been a crazy couple weeks and I’m loving every minute of it. And thanks to the developers for making such a fun game to play and stream!
SQUAKKKKK!!!
Can you share some of your favorite clips with us?
As many of you know, we’re currently planning a massive rework of the Outlands later this year, which also intends to increase the world size. We feel it would be unfair to make new players wait until we finish that rework to have a chance to claim their own piece of Albion, so in the meantime we’ve decided to launch an expansion of the world based on the current map layout.
For this reason, we’re planning to add three new regions to the current Outland map: Siluria (equivalent in size and value to Cumbria), and Westand East Glouvia (equivalent in size and value to West and East Anglia, respectively).
These new regions will launch during GvG Season 6 (we’re currently aiming for early May), and the territories within them will become claimable in two waves on the second Invasion Day of Season 6 (May 18th).
To ensure this land expansion has a minimal effect on Season 6, all territories, mages and castles within it will not contribute season points to the current season and will only start doing so for Season 7. They will, however, generate siphoned energy and spawn loot chests, so they are a perfect place for new guilds to establish themselves and try their hand at territory conquest in preparation for Season 7.
How will these new regions be accessed?
Access to these zones will happen via the city portal system. Each city’s portal network will be extended to gain additional access points in the corresponding zones.
Martlock: 3 portal exits in West Glouvia, bordering West Anglia to the north
Bridgewatch: 2 portal exits, 1 each in West and East Glouvia
Thetford: 2 portal exits in East Glouvia, bordering East Anglia to the north
Lymhurst: 2 portal exits, 1 each in East Glouvia and Siluria
Fort Sterling: 2 portal exits in Siluria, bordering Cumbria to the north via a bridge
Caerleon: 1 portal exit in East Siluria, bordering Mercia to the north via a bridge
Start gathering your guilds together and get ready to claim your piece of Albion!
The Rites of Spring have begun! Chests containing Fool's Golden Eggs have appeared throughout the world of Albion. Break them open to gather eggs, which can be traded for costume items at the Vanity Merchant in all cities.
You can trade egg tokens for limited-time rewards, including:
The "Bunny Stalker" armor set, plus the Bunny Stalker and Snow Bunny Stalker hats complete with summonable rabbits
A placeable egg-shaped chest for your house
A special vanity pack to carry your eggs
These rewards are only available during this one-week event, so head into the wilds of Albion and hunt some eggs!
Changes
Adjusted guild change timer back to 48 hours (was reduced to 30 minutes during F2P launch week)
Greatly increased buff provided by Silver shrines in Randomized Dungeons to be more rewarding - their bonus will be increased from 50% to 400% for the duration of the buff
Removed the indication area from Contagious Fire to improve performance and remove a flickering bug
Spell buttons are no longer greyed out while a toggle spell is running
Fixes
Identified and fixed an issue with display of character name tags that was affecting client performance, which should stabilize frame rate during gameplay
Fixed incorrect rotations of some spell indication areas
Corrected tooltip descriptions of Gold and Premium in character selection screen
Fixed World Map "Reset Camera" button
Fixed a bug where executing a downed player failed under very high ping conditions
Fixed a bug where the Fame reward for capturing an outpost was wrong in the UI when a Fame buff was active
Additional minor graphical, UI, terrain, animation, audio, and localization fixes
Albion's sixth season of guild-versus-guild warfare kicks off this Saturday. As always, winning teams can claim powerful exclusive rewards, including the epic new Battle Eagle mount.
While its exact stats, abilities, and appearance are still a work in progress, the Battle Eagle will offer its rider unique skills that will be useful to support allies in various combat and scouting settings. This mount will be awarded to guilds who reach Silver rank or higher during Season 6, with additional rewards given to all guilds who reach Iron rank or higher.

A new referral season starts today! Refer your friends to Albion Online and get three fantastic rewards:the Merlyn Cube, the Recruiter's Pile of Tomes (worth a total 100,000 Fame), and the White Tiger.
The current referral season lasts until maintenance on June 1, so you've got until then to refer your friends and claim your White Tiger. With the shift to free-to-play, the referral system has been streamlined and simplified:
How to Earn Seasonal Referral Rewards
Send your referral link, which you can find here, to a friend. (You must be logged into your account on the website to view this page.)
Your friend registers an account and starts playing Albion Online (preferably along with you!).
The first time your friend purchases at least 30 days of Premium, they will trigger a reward for you.
Yes, we said rewards:
For each friend you refer through this system in a given referral season, you earn one "point".
For your first, third, and fifth points within a season, you will earn an item reward. For the current rewards and your progress, please check the referral overview page.
Additionally, you will receive a reward of 500 Gold for each referral made this way. (As with item rewards, Gold rewards are limited to once per referred account.) This reward is delivered to your account seven days after the respective Premium purchase was made.
On top of that, for your very first referral ever, you will receive a special reward: a tier-8 Recruiter's Pile of Tomes, worth a whopping 200,000 Fame. This one-time reward is not bound to any referral season, and will also be given retroactively to all players with at least one qualifying referral before April 10.
Today is the day! With a healthy and growing player base, numerous technical improvements since launch, and a brand-new tutorial for new players, Albion Online opens the gates to all players.
And it wouldn't be fitting to mark such an occasion without a brand new trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBU_Fxd0Jf4 Today's launch also brings numerous improvements, changes, and upgrades to the game, including a major change to the Outland portal system - check out the patch notes for the complete list of changes.
Community Resources
For those new to the game (as well as our veteran players), here's a list of the major Albion Online channels:
The dust has settled on another GvG season... and with all points tallied, the winner once again is Blue Army. For the second season in a row, this organized and efficient crew took a creative and results-based approach to racking up season points, and claimed their second crown.
In the aftermath of Season 4, Blue Army were the undisputed kings of open-world ZvZs. But with a pre-season point adjustment to castles, as well as a robust Crystal GvG scene already underway, their dominance in Season 5 was never a sure thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIVYecdiMcg However, with an early surge by several SQUAD teams, Blue Army was able to capture and hold Caerleon along with numerous other plots, assuring them a steady flow of funds throughout the season. Coupled with excellent shotcalling, powerful GvG teams, and a still-unstoppable ZvZ presence, their path to victory became clearer as the season progressed.
Congratulations once again to Blue Army on their second consecutive win - for a comprehensive rundown all the Season 5 highlights by AlbionTV's own Shozen, click here.
Lucrative Rewards and an Epic Fame Boost
All Crystal, Gold, and Silver-ranked teams this season will receive the Tower Chariot mount. This impressive battle mount is intended for backline support in large battles, and features various AoE skills that buff energy, protect allies, and weaken enemies. Additionally, all teams ranked Bronze or higher will receive a permanent avatar, and all teams ranked Iron or higher will receive a permanent avatar ring. And finally, Blue Army's commemorative statue is currently under construction at the entrance to Conquerors' Hall near the Caerleon Realmgate, in preparation for its unveiling on April 10! For a full explanation of GvG Season rewards, please see the FAQ.
Today also marks the beginning of a ten-day Fame Boost. From now until maintenance on April 10, the Mists of Albion buff will be active, granting an additional 25% Fame to all activities (excluding Tomes). This is the perfect chance to boost your specs before Season 6 starts on April 20, 2019, so gear up and send your stats sky-high!
Congrats once again to Blue Army, as well as all ranking teams – we'll see you back on the battlefield when the next season begins on April 20.

Name: Veetus Channel: http://Twitch.tv/veetus General Streaming Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday evenings in the West Coast NA timezone Main Focus: Everything! But any type of PvP is my favorite content to stream.
How did you get into streaming? How long have you been an Albion streamer?
I have been a Twitch viewer for a little over 11 years now. Ever since then, I have always been intrigued by playing games with an interactive chat by my side. I started streaming about 5 years ago. Once I found Albion in March of 2017, I knew this was going to be my game of choice to focus on streaming.
How is streaming Albion different from streaming other games?
It’s mostly different because you have a lot of things that you cannot show or broadcast. Certain communication audio, in-game text chat, and your zone location. I mean, you certainly can broadcast these things, but it enables the viewer to attempt to “stream snipe” you and that can get tiresome after a while.
What is your general approach to streaming? Do you plan out activities in advance, or head out into the world and see what happens?
I sometimes log in prior to going live, and see what activity is happening within my guild/alliance. If I can get on a Hellgate team, or a fame farm or gank/dungeon dive group – I will usually go live as soon as I can get in those groups. I prefer group-oriented content to stream. I will often not stream solo content.
Do you have a favorite stream, or a favorite moment you can share from one of your streams?
This is a hard one! Losing my first battlemount was a big one. I am so glad it was captured on stream. My face alone when you see my reaction hopefully conveys my heart rate was very high. I wish I had a heart rate monitor for my viewers to see during that time, because I felt like I was having a heart attack. What a moment!
I would like to get more into GvGing. I love the content so much as it gets my heart pumping! I foresee myself doing more 5v5 content (HGs, Scrims, GvGs) now with the item caps making it easier to form teams and get out there and have fun.
Do you have any advice or tips for other players who are considering being Albion streamers?
To any and all interested in streaming Albion – please do! It’s a unique game, an even more unique game to stream. Do not get discouraged by the stream snipers. It will happen. You will die. You will lose loot. Sometimes it can feel worse knowing that you’re losing precious loot in front of viewers. But look at it from the perspective of it being CONTENT. Losing loot in Albion is a beautiful thing – it’s what makes the economy stay in check and it usually gets people’s adrenaline and heart pumping during their final moments of death. In short, I would say: stream a lot, stream often, and it’s OK to die. Try to have fun with all of it.
Anything else to add?
I have been streaming for a long time now, and playing Albion for almost 2 years. I am no expert nor professional, but if anyone has any questions, feel free to reach out to me on stream, in-game, on discord (Veetus#6591) or any of my other social media outlets. I do plan on someday creating a “How to stream Albion” guide of some kind - showing overlays + OpSec techniques.
Can you share some of your favorite clips with us?
Doing a BAD job of opsec - meant to say this muted and didn’t:

Albion Online is entering a new era: on April 10, the gates will open for a plethora of new players when the game goes free-to-play. For those who've been waiting to dive in, the world of Albion is now even more accessible – and for veteran players, the options for group exploration, PvP, new refining and crafting opportunities, and economic expansion will be nearly endless.
This change will bring incredible new dimensions to the world of Albion, as a new generation of players ready to make their mark on the world enters the fray. This new blood, along with the numerous content updates planned for the coming months, will make 2019 a thrilling year for Albion, and we look forward to seeing all the creative ways players find to push the limits of the sandbox experience.
What happens next?
From April 10 on, everybody can join the ranks of our vast community of adventurers in exploring the world of Albion – on any platform, free of charge, with no limitations.
And for our veteran players, we have an exclusive thank-you gift: the incredible Specter Wolf mount. The Specter Wolf has all the stats of a Direwolf with a unique ghostly appearance, and only accounts that have a Founder or Starter Pack redeemed and active on April 10 at 10:00 UTC will qualify for this.
In addition to that, there will be a ten-day Fame boost starting after maintenance on April 1 and ending with maintenance on April 10. The Mists of Albion buff will be active, giving a 25% boost to all Fame earned through ingame activities (excluding Fame from Tomes), so don't miss this huge opportunity to unlock some new gear and raise your specs!
For those who don’t own the game yet and want to join the action immediately, we are offering a 34% discount on all packs until April 10, which gives you instant access to the game, great value on Gold and Premium and your very own Specter Wolf mount once the game goes free to play. This is the last chance to get Starter Packs before they are discontinued on April 10. You can find the discounted packs in our web shop.
Free-to-Play FAQ
When will Albion Online go free-to-play?
Albion Online will go free-to-play on April 10, 2019 at 10:00 UTC.
What exactly does this change mean?
Starting at 10:00 UTC on April 10, you will no longer need to buy the game in order to play. After this point, you can simply download the game client from the website, create a free account, and join the action.
Will there be changes to Albion Online’s business model?
Albion Online’s business model has always been based on two pillars: Premium status, which can be bought with either real money or ingame currency, and a vanity-only ingame shop. This business model will not change when the game goes free-to-play. The only difference is that you will no longer need to purchase the game in order to play.
Will there be restrictions for free accounts?
Free accounts will have no gameplay restrictions and can take part in all aspects of the game. Since the business model remains unchanged, Premium status will remain purchasable with either real money or in-game currency for all account types.
Why are you making this change now?
Overall, the game is doing very well. We have a fully staffed development team of 35 people, just released our sixth major post-release update, and have a stable and growing player population.
However, we're also convinced that Albion Online can be taken much further. Our mission is to bring back that old-school, hardcore MMORPG feeling, to as many players as possible.
In today’s world, a 30-dollar paywall – the price of our cheapest game pack – is a massive deterrent for trying out a new game, especially one as unconventional as Albion Online. We believe that by removing the initial paywall we will be able to grow Albion Online as a game and continue to further expand our development team to bring you even more content updates and exciting new features going forward.
Ultimately, we believe this step will help us realize our long-term vision for the game.
If I already have an account, do I need to do anything to prepare?
No - all players with a currently existing account can simply log in as normal on April 10 and thereafter.
What about existing players who already purchased the game? Do they get anything?
Absolutely! After all, without the tremendous support of all our players, Albion Online would not be where it is today.
As a thank-you gift, all accounts that have redeemed a Founder or Starter Pack before April 10, 10:00 UTC will receive the following:
The Specter Wolf mount – an exclusive ghostly mount that has the same stats as a Direwolf and will not be available at any other point in the future
1,000 Gold
3 Days of Claimable Premium
What will happen with Starter Packs?
The sale of the current Starter Packs will be discontinued on April 10.
Everyone who redeems a pack until April 10, 10:00 UTC will be eligible for the thank-you gifts listed above. Unredeemed packs can also be redeemed after April 10, and while they will still contain the regular included Gold, Premium, and items, they will not receive the additional gifts above.
Until April 10, all Starter Packs are discounted as follows:
Veteran Starter Packs now cost USD 19.77 (contains ~USD 20 worth of Gold and Premium)
Epic Starter Packs now cost USD 32.97 (contains ~USD 50 worth of Gold and Premium)
Legendary Starter Packs now cost USD 65.97 (contains ~USD 80 worth of Gold and Premium)
Pack Upgrades have also been discounted accordingly.
What does this mean for Trial Keys and Referral Seasons?
Trial Keys will no longer be purchasable beginning with maintenance on March 27. Trial Keys will no longer be redeemable as of maintenance on April 10. Players will receive their Gold and Referral rewards for any Trial Keys redeemed up until that point, and any Trial Keys not yet redeemed will be automatically refunded to the original buyer.
The current Referral Season system, in which referral rewards are based on Trial Keys and Starter Packs, will be replaced by a different system on April 10 to reflect the fact that there will no longer be Trial Keys and Starter Packs. Details of the new Referral Season will be announced at that time. As is currently the case, each successful referral will generate a Gold reward for the original referrer, and rewards and duration of each season will be announced at the beginning of the season.
