In Contraband Police drivers can carry various cargo. There are several groups of cargo including: Animals, Food, Households, Chemicals, Building Materials and Luggage.
To legally transport cargo to Acaristan, driver must have a valid transport document. It is your responsibility to check the compliance of the vehicle cargo with the transport document declaration.
The transport of some cargo may be prohibited on a given day - be alert to mission guidelines. Cargo objects can be easily counted using a cargo notebook.
You can also move individual objects from vehicle to the inspection area. This way you can discover cargo that is hidden deeper in the car.
Every cargo may additionally contain a hidden contraband!
Today I'd like to present you our unique system MIV™ (Movement Inside Vehicle) which is part of the overall Contraband Police vehicle system.
Getting into vehicles has never been so natural! Just open door and walk towards the seat - you'll be automatically pulled to it. While being inside, you can look around normally and change between possible seats using standard movement keys.
In some cases, you will be pulled into the vehicle and continue to move freely (see the movie below)
There is a special UI indicator (bottom-left corner) that shows your current position and possible transitions (red transitions are blocked e.g. due to closed door)
As you can see MIV™ allows us not only to search vehicle interior for contraband but also to drive away quickly.
We apologize you guys for the lack of contact so far.
Our game has undergone a lot of changes and we decided to wait with the disclosure of development details until core gameplay was stabilized..
From now on we promise to post regular updates on our progress and also we will show you some nice features that are already implemented.

Let me start with a few words about our item system !
In Contraband Police we have a grid inventory UI to easly move items between hand and backpack. Every Item in game can be hold in hand no matter if it's a tool or some other stuff. Item from hand can be used, dropped or thrown.
One of major item type is a TOOL. There are 5 different tool classes that are used mainly for contraband search:
Blades
Blunts
Axes
Shovel
Pitchfork
Each class is best against certain contraband hiding spots. E.g. Blades are perfect for cutting upholstery or tires while Axes can make holes in metal canisters or other hard surfaces.
