• To celebrate the upcoming launch of Adventurer Season Two, a limited-time only daily check-in event will be opened from Jan. 9th to Jan. 15th (Pacific Standard Time)
  
• Players will be rewarded with an exclusive Season One player portrait when they reach 3 successful check-ins! (Please note that the check-in doesn’t have to be consecutive in order to claim the portrait)
  
• 

• Replaced the default loading screen in celebration of the upcoming release of the new map- Europa island

• Fixed an issue where some VPN applications didn’t support the Beta client
  
• Fixed an issue where Nvidia GeForce Experience Highlights didn’t support the Beta client

• The Adventurer Season One will end in just 7 days, and Season Two will be launched right after Season One’s end. Once again, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude to everyone for the support you have shown for the Adventurer Season One. Your amazing enthusiasm became our biggest driving force to make ROE a better game!

• Season One will end on January 15, 2019 (Pacific Standard Time);
  
• Season One's Weekly Challenges will become unavailable on January 15, 2019 (Pacific Standard Time);
  
• Season One’s leaderboard, player level, and player statistics will reset on January 15, 2019 (Pacific Standard Time);

Welcome to the latest official patch notes for Ring of Elysium’s Early Access phase. Here’s the full details:

• In order to improve and optimize your game experience, we have provided an executable file for the “ROE Beta client”, which includes the following features:
  
  • Higher and more stable frames per second with some PC specs
    
  • Slightly reduced the issue of object flickering in far distances

Meanwhile, compared to the regular ROE client, the Beta client might be unstable, please choose the client version to run the game according your needs.

Please note: When you first launch the game after this update, you will be asked if you want to use the Beta client of Ring of Elysium, if you selected the Beta client by accident, you can select to return to the regular client by the next time you launch the game.

If you encounter any issues with the Beta client such as client crashes, please contact us by sending us an email to: roe@tencent.com. We will fix related issues and optimize the Beta client as fast as we can.

Ensuring a fair and healthy game environment for players has always been one of our top priorities. The ROE Dev team has clear guidelines and multiple criteria of what we define as harmful to the game environment, including (but not limited to) the following actions will all cause your account to be banned:

• Using third-party cheats
  
• Using mouse macros that performs more than one action per user input (such as recoil macros)
  
• Maliciously harassing teammates
  
• Maliciously killing teammates
  
• Maliciously teaming

At the same time, we will optimize the in-game report system as soon as possible, and add the "Teaming" report option.

• We decided to extend the Adventurer Season One by two weeks from the original eight, the specific extension dates are as follows:
  
  • The end of the season one is extended from January 3, 2019 to January 15, 2019 (Pacific Standard Time);
    
  • The available time for season one's Weekly Challenges are extended from January 3, 2019 to January 15, 2019 (Pacific Standard Time);
    
  • The leaderboard reset time for season one is extended from January 3, 2019 to January 15, 2019 (Pacific Standard Time)

Please note:

• Season one's Adventurer Pass rewards will be permanently discontinued and become unavailable for purchase at the end of season one, you will not be able to get these rewards ever again in the future!
  
• We will continue to release new styles for season one's adventurer characters in season two, further increasing the collection value and exclusivity for the season one adventurer characters!

• The team HUD now shows the number of firewood your teammates are carrying
  
• Added a text notification when you consume food items and gain the Food buff

• During the event period (January 2nd to January 9th, 2019, PST), players can log in to the game every day to participate in the raffle. Happy holidays! The 2019 New-year celebration is coming right after Christmas and we have elaborately prepared two new events for you! Let’s check ‘em out!


During the event period (January 2nd to January 9th, 2019, PST), players can log in to the game every day to participate in the raffle. From three reward cards, choose one and claim your awesome reward! The event lasts for 8 days, and players participate in up to 7 draws. After completing 7 draws, you will be rewarded with the Gavin- New Year style!

Attention everyone! The old Sheriff of Mt. Dione sent an emergency message, asking for your help to find the serial killer suspect on the loose! The sheriff's previous records are currently stored in the Dione police file management system, but each file is encrypted and the unlock codes are now scattered all around Dione. Hurry up and get yourselves into the game, find those documents!


The event will contain seven stages, each stage lasts 2 days for a total of 14 days. At the current stage, player will be able to find the unlock code to the case files in-game. After the event is over, rewards will be issued based on the number of stages the player has successfully unlocked and completed. If the player does not successfully enter the unlock code during the current stage, the file content will still be accessible to the player for viewing, but it will not count as a completed stage.

1. Log in to the Dione Police Records Management System and enter your ROE in-game name (please note that this refers to your in-game nickname and not your Steam account login)

2. Click to view the unlocked file or the current stage files

3. View the current stage's location tips to find the unlock code
4. Enter a round of game, find the location based on the location clue's description obtained in the file system webpage, the described location will be guaranteed have a mysterious file, but only one of the three mysterious files contain the actual unlock code

5. Find the clue, interact with it and click the button to copy the unlock code

6. Go back to the event page and enter the code to unlock the files of the current stage!

• Complete 3 stages to earn 50EP after the event ends
  
  
• Complete 5 stages to earn the unique detective portrait after the event ends
  
  
• Complete all 7 stages to earn a Season 2 mystery prize after Season 2's launch
  

• At each stage, according to the location tips, there will be three locations in the game round, and one of the locations will have the clues, leading to the unlock code
  
• Each player’s unlock code will be unique and the code for each stage will be different
  
• If the current stage is already expired and the player has not successfully unlocked the files, the file content will be automatically shown to the player after the current stage is over, but the task of that stage will not be count as completed
  
• Non-seasonal rewards will be issued directly to the player within 7 business days after the event ends. The Season 2 mystery reward will be issue to the player within 7 days after Season 2's launch

• Added two food items: Roast steak and roast turkey, and changed their effects to be:
  
• Roast turkey leg- Food buff level 1: Continuously restores HP
  
• Roast steak- Food buff level 2: Continuously restores HP and increases sprinting speed
  
• Roast turkey- Food buff level 3: Continuously restores HP and increases sprinting speed
  
• Please note: Food buffs cannot stack, the stronger buff effect will automatically override the weaker one
  
• When players make a campfire, it will now be shown on the maps (both minimap and the map interface)
  
• Adjusted the spawn items: Removed the default Firewood and Chocolate bars, replacing them with 5 Bandages
  
• Adjusted the item spawns in food spawn points: Replacing Chocolate bars and Cans with Bandages and First Aid Kits

• Increased the network stability in From Dusk Till Dawn

• Optimized the Adventurer Badge number fonts, making them more clear and recognizable
  
• Removed the invalid climbing icon around Lake Herschel on the map

• Fixed an issue where the spawning point selection interface had incorrect sound effects in From Dusk Till Dawn
  
• Fixed an issue where the crosshair didn’t disappear when the “dawn rising” animation played at the end of rounds in From Dusk Till Dawn
  
• Fixed an issue where opponents were shown incorrectly on the maps (both minimap and the map interface) when being too far away in From Dusk Till Dawn
  
• Fixed an issue where the Battle Buddy referral rewards claiming interface wasn’t shown
