After today’s update, we have received the most amount of feedback from players within a single day since our Early Access launch. First, we would like to thank everyone for their support and encouragement. Second, we want to sincerely apologize for our oversights in this update, which led to numerous issues, we have reflected on our mistakes and re-evaluated ourselves profoundly. Due to our mis-assessments in the update’s development process, we failed to test and review some changes and optimizations in the update adequately, causing the following severe problems:
TPP character animation being overall sluggish, the problems include but are not limited to the following:
Incorrect character strafing animations while sprinting, this issue is already fixed in today’s new patch
Default player animations not completely matched with Icon characters, causing glitches such as incorrect model clipping, we will fix this issue within a week
Blinding inventory UI, this issue is already fixed in today’s new patch by reverting this UI to its previous state
Icon characters & cosmetic items
Some players reported that after the update, all their cosmetic items they had previously disappeared, this is because we moved the default character cosmetic item customization to a different place, here’s the screenshot:
Unable to identify the equipment on opponent Icon characters (helmets, weapons, backpacks). We will make the following changes soon: helmets, backpacks and weapons will be displayed on opponent Icons characters like before, at the same time, players and their teammates can still see Icon characters’ original appearance. Thus, hairstyles cosmetics on the back will not be affected
Unable to unequip cosmetic items such as jackets and gloves, this issue will be fixed soon by allowing players to unequip all categories of cosmetic items in lobby
Moving on, we will take this experience as a lesson and guidance in our future development plans for Ring of Elysium. In order to constantly remind ourselves to provide players with the best quality of our product in the future, we have decided to create and give out a special Glider appearance (an exclusive skin printed with words: Sluggish and Blinding) to all players within a week, here’s a preview of it:
We hope everyone can continue to stay on this journey with us to provide supervision, valuable feedback and suggestions. We will continue to develop Ring of Elysium to the best of our capability with a heart of gratitude! Let us work side by side and make ROE truly flourish!

The Adventurer Pass Season 1 is a great opportunity for us to bring a brand new and exciting reward system to Ring of Elysium. Therefore, we will be making some changes to the game's current reward system, including Crates and the Credits players used to purchase them.
After today's update, players will no longer be able to purchase weekly and daily Crates. However, players can still open Crates in their Vault that they have already purchased.
As for Credits, the Dev team is working on coming up with a satisfactory solution for all players. We will post an update on this matter very soon, stay tuned!
