I'm happy to announce that we've just added over 1,300 new clothing pieces to the game. All of these will be available in the cosmetics shop daily rotation (in-game) so be sure to check that out regularly.

Some pieces have already been added as new lootable base items to the game (Motocross Armour, SN-42, Assault Vest etc) and some others will come in the form of new Unique items which will be added over the next few weeks.

As some of you may remember, we've been promising to add more clothing options to the game for quite some time now. Unfortunately due to our character artist being seriously ill, this project ground to a halt for a long time and so we had to delay the release several times.

However I am proud to announce that Dobrin has recovered and has managed to complete all the new pieces. I will therefore be implementing these into the game over the next few weeks. This process can be quite fiddly and time consuming as it involves completely rebuilding our player character avatars, but I am confident it will be finished by early February.

The new clothing is comprised of 32 new outfits for both males and females, each with several individual pieces that can be mixed and matched with other items. And each of these items has several colour and material variations. There are also new material variations for existing items. All in all we're looking at around 1300 individual pieces that will be added to the game. A good chunk of these will be cosmetics that can be purchased with credits, but a large number will be used either to form new base items (e.g armour) or new unique items that will be lootable.

From now until Wednesday January 5th you will be able to:

- Follow the clues and unlock a special reward in our daily scavenger hunt!

- Take down Christmas infected that grant large amounts of bonus EXP
- Grab a brand new mask and weapon cosmetic from the trader
- Loot some Egg Nog and enjoy the festive boost

The scavenger hunt runs until the 23rd and begins at 4:00PM UTC each day in our Discord (https://discord.com/invite/deadfrontier2). The first person to solve the clue and find the Golden Santa wins 1,000 credits. Note that even if you are unable to be online at this time you can still get the santa later in the day (until next reset). You will need to collect at least 6 Golden Santas to craft all the various rewards. Any spare Golden Santas can be used to craft smaller rewards.
