We have a new update Groove Coaster with the main feature being improved default keyboard settings. When we launched, we received a lot of feedback about this, so hopefully this is closer to an ideal. Sorry for the wait and rest assured we're still looking at other common issues too.
Updates
Changed default keyboard controls We changed the default keyboard settings for new uers as follows: J,I,K,L now perform slides left, up, right and down respectively (right hand). * left had controls are unchanged * controls can still be changed via Settings * this change will not affect for existing users
Changed how Favorites are set We improved the flow to make setting a song as a favorite quicker.
DLC song list design Improved the design to make it look more uniform.
Minor changes Several minor changes and improvements.
As always, if you have any problems with todays update, please take a look here and contact us if needed.
Please update your display driver to the latest available and let us know if that works. A Microsoft guide can be found here and the drivers can be found either here or on your PC manufacturers' site.
Please try this and tell us if you problem still pertsists and if so, please post your specs with an overview of the problem here.
We would like to help present a work around to the issue involving some button inputs not responding while playing.
The main cause of this issue has been narrowed down to the analog stick not being recognized as having returned to the neutral position after use.
Please follow the steps below for the temporary workaround to this issue.
On the Steam browser, select “Steam” in the upper left corner.
Select the following, ”Settings” -> “Controller” -> “General Controller Settings”
”Selected Controller” -> “Calibrate”
From here please adjust the dead zone slide bars for the L / R analog sticks. Moving the slide bar to the right will increase the size of the neutral zone.
*Dead zone slide bar settings will differ by controller.
