If you’ve played our demo you’ll recognize these demons as they are the enemies that you have to fight your way through.
The Gadasura This is the mighty Gadasura demon. When you encounter it be sure to avoid its club as it will make quick work of anyone on the receiving end.
A common way for it to attack you is to first charge at you with surprising speed while swinging its powerful club.
The Mahinasura The Mahinasura is the opposite of the Gadasura, while the former relies on brute force, the Mahinasura relies on crafty tactics and agility. It will run into battle, attack a few times, and then quickly retreat to a safe distance.
The Tezabsura The Tezabsura poses an entirely different challenge to the previous two demons. This demon has three distinct attacks.
If Raji gets noticed, it will hurl balls of acid at her, if Raji gets very close, it will use its powerful hind legs to knock Raji to the ground and leap to safety. Once Raji finally defeats the Tezabsura, it will swell up and self destruct, burning everything around it.
We’re back with another news blast from the world of Raji development. In our last small update, we had some excellent feedback from the Steam community that had not seen the in-development videos yet, so this article will focus on sharing some more of our recent videos. As always, if you really like them, we highly recommend that you follow us on Facebook as we upload new content there on a regular basis.
The focus of this post is on how we’ve added the Bow mechanic to the game, so we will be showcasing single attacks, special attacks, poking (shoot and dodge) and a special ‘bug-that-could-become-a-feature’ video that ended up being very popular!
Before we get into the videos showing you the Bow in action, check out this quick concept-to-creation slideshow, showing you the various stages of the Bow’s development.
If you are an agile player, you can ‘poke’ your opponents with the Bow. Poking is a common tactic in games where you constantly run in and out of range when fighting an opponent. Though it requires skill to do, if you master it, your opponent cannot land any hits against you!
It’s been a while since we’ve posted an update for our loyal Steam followers, so what better time than now to give you run down at what has been going on with Raji: An Ancient Epic!
New Demo
As you know, we are currently hard at work developing the game and we are currently working to complete a new demo for you to play!

All of these improvements and additions will mean that the new demo will be a significant upgrade on our existing one, so we’re looking forward to seeing your reaction to the game.
Raji In Development
If you follow us on Social Media, you’ll have seen us post a few videos showing some development videos of the game!
Here are a few samples that we’ve shared in the last few weeks!
The developers decided to have some fun while testing the facial expressions of the Gadasura!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbYvwEWN0BA Very early on in the Tezabsura's development cycle, we had to get the jump mechanics to work properly. This particular version didn't work properly, but the resulting jump-party made for an interesting video!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGTT12dAQZY Finally, we have an all new-new demon that we are working on for the game. Though we’ve (intentionally) not given much information about it just yet, we’re very happy to share its concept art with you!
That’s it for now, if you are interested in seeing more development snapshots, we recommend that you follow us on Facebook, and we’ll see you again soon!
