"Hey everyone, I am working on a fix for the client-side FPS stutter that's going on. It's related to foliage, and every time a plant is eaten, picked up , or destroyed, it's causing a stutter on every computer (including the server, which is likely causing lag spikes as well). I'm hoping to get a hotfix for this out later tonight.
The FPS stutter is happening because every time a plant is eaten, the game must re-compute the collision bounds for the entire 'Instanced Foliage Actor' on the map, which is resulting in a hefty CPU spike due to the sheer volume of foliage on Ancestral_Plains.
The servers are also having a very difficult time when exceeding 40-50 players. We'd recommend not having servers larger than 50 players at this time, as it is going to result in a very unstable gameplay experience.

You can climb trees, rocks, and the world itself by jumping and pressing the Use key when near the surface you are targeting.
In order to jump from a surface to an other, hold the jump key to charge your ability, that will propel you towards the angle you are looking at.
Player should not right click while latched to a surface as it causes them to die and have to relog
The animations and sounds aren't all there yet and will be added with time.

I have been working on setting up our new velociraptor for Beasts of Bermuda! While not all animations are implemented yet, I'm hoping to get all that together for the release day!
Here goes! Velociraptor is able to climb trees, rocks, and any other map element considered climbable! Along with this, you are able to jump from surface to surface to your heart's content!
Deploying a small patch that fixes a few issues that happened over the weekend. It also includes some work on Ancestral Plains, by Asoka:
