Everybody loves music - And most of us love to train with it.
So we decided to bring that power to your practice - We’re partnering with Zedd to bring the power of music to your training!
A new theme, new music options, and a nice new lobby takeover await you in Aim Lab 0.94.2 - The Zedd Takeover
Ranking System Overhaul
We’re giving our ranking system some love this update - With a total overhaul!
Not only will these changes make the rank you get more respective of your current skill level, but with new progression visuals and a whole new player card, you’ll be able to flex off to your friends too!
New ranking calculation
Our old ranking system was fairly complex and took quite some time to reflect your improvements - Using a median of your last 100 plays per category, getting your rank to shift took a long while.
Well, no longer - Our new ranking system, instead of taking a median of your last 100 plays, instead takes a median of your top 5 plays per category. This system will better keep up with you as you improve, while still allowing you to have a data profile as large as your aim can endure.
New Progression Visuals
Along with the new calculations, we are replacing some of our old ranking screens with a new progression-based screen.
This new ranking element will show you both what rank you are, and how far you are away from your next rank right on the homescreen!
New playercard
After all of these new changes - We figured that you might want a way to show off your stats to your friends - Well, we’ve got you covered!
The “Profile” screen has been completely reworked - Into a new ranked playercard!
This new profile menu will show off your overall rank, your per-category ranks, your strengths and weaknesses, aswell as still letting you access all of your old data!
Rank Up Screen
Improving is important - And should be celebrated.
So, as a last little cherry on the cake - Whenever you rank up after a task, you’ll get a little celebratory screen to congratulate you, aswell as a well deserved round of applause!
We expect you to be seeing this screen a lot - So don’t dissapoint us
New Music - By Zedd
We’re partnering with the legend himself to bring the power of music to your training - Featuring a new theme song, lobby takeover and more options for you to customize your Aim Lab experience - With more to come!
New Web Profiles
Along with our Valorant combine we launched a new profile system on Aim Lab - And this update, we’re bringing sharing to the mix.
You can now share your Aim Lab profiles with anyone and everyone - Discuss your training and improvements, get feedback, or just compare.
And as an added bonus - You will now be able to check out any players profile by clicking the new web button on leaderboards! Compare yourself against the best of the best!
Task Suggestions
One of the most common questions I get asked is what tasks are best for training x, or what tasks should you do after playing y - Well, we decided to answer that question once and for all.
A new suggested task box has been added to the results screen once you complete a task - Allowing you to rapidly go from task to task to get the most out of your training!
This new section is in beta - So expect suggestions to get smarter over time!
New Creator Studio templates
We’re bringing THREE new templates to creators this update, along with a bunch of updates to older templates!
These new templates are -
VALORANT - Icebox
Feel a chill in the air? Just hope you don’t freeze - Icebox is our latest addition to the Aim Lab roster!
VALORANT - Split
Completing the original trilogy - Split joins the roster of Valorant maps on Aim Lab! Love it or hate it - Now you can train on it!
SIEGE - Kafe Dostoyevsky
Come on down to Kafe Dostoyevsky for a spot of tea and a plate of content - Modelled after the reworked Kafe map, this template should have you feeling right at home!
These new templates come equipped with revised movement speeds and scaling to make sure that you feel as close to the game as possible - And all three are available now!
Bullet Drop
Last but not least - Something for those of you looking to train your long range shooting, we have added Bullet Drop as a customization option for Custom Weapons!
Practice your bowing in Rust, or your long range sniping in PUBG - Or heck, anything inbetween, the power is in your hands!
We’ve partnered with the Connor Ball of The Vamps to bring you a musical twist on an old favourite - The Connor Ball Gridshot experience!
Jam out in an all new map - Featuring background music by Connor Ball himself!
Will you Risk it All to play All Night? Or are we always going to be Missing you?
Our VALORANT Combine Tasks: Now in Core Aim Lab!
You spoke, and we heard you.
The Aim Lab x VALORANT Combine was our most popular event ever, with over 4.3 million task plays. What’s an Aim Lab to do after the event is over? That’s obvious: bring those tasks into core Aim Lab.
That’s right – you can continue your VALORANT training with the tasks used in the Combine being found in the “Game Specific” section, alongside our other partners. They can also now be added to playlists and any of your other routines!
Quality of Life changes
Updated Playlists to automatically subscribe and download Creator Studio tasks before starting, if you don’t have them installed already
Increased the maximum fire rate for Custom Weapons from 0.05 (20 shots per second) to 0.01 (100 shots per second)
Added an autosubscribe measure to tasks containing Custom Weapons to ensure that you always have the most up to date version of the tasks weapon
Updated some task descriptions to more clearly articulate the contents of the task
Bug Fixes
Fixed being able to start a Playlist with tasks or scenarios missing
Fixed an issue affecting the visual quality of some task icons
(UPDATE: All contests and sweepstakes have ended as of 1pm EST, May 5th, but we’re extending all other aspects of the event for another week, meaning you can play the tasks and get your Player Card until May 12th at 1pm EST! This announcement has been edited to remove or update any references to the giveaways.)
As part of our official partnership with the VALORANT NA Challenger series, we’re stoked to announce the first Aim Lab Combine for VALORANT players! We’re doing a whole lot of new stuff for and during the event:
Test your fundamental VALORANT skills
See how you stack up against friends and pros
Get a unique Player Card
Link your Riot Games account on the web to start importing your VALORANT stats
Let’s break it all down.
Test (and Train) Your Skills This Combine is our first step on the journey to bring you unique ways to improve your VALORANT performance.
To do that, we’ve created six tasks that’ll help you both understand where you rank against thousands of other players in fundamental measurements (accuracy, speed, reaction time, and tracking), and help teach (or reinforce) the basics of skills like wallpeeking and entry-fragging a site.
The six tasks are:
VCT Combine Headshot - test your ability to keep your cursor at headshot level as you flick from target to target.
VCT Combine Microflex - test your ability to make small aim corrections.
VCT Combine Tracking - keep your cursor on a moving target
VCT Combine Trigger Control - measure your reaction time and ability to distinguish friend and foe
VCT Combine Wallpeak - destroy bots (they shoot back!) while peeking from behind a wall
VCT Combine Haven C-site Entry - practice clearing a site without overexposing yourself to common defensive positions
Show us what you got, and then, afterwards ...
See How You Stack Up You can secure bragging rights during the Combine in two ways.
The first is the usual assortment of task-specific leaderboards and an overall leaderboard for cumulative scores.
More importantly, you can create a unique Player Card with your preferred agent, and share it on Twitter to show us how you did.
The Player Card will contain your fundamental measurements from the six tasks (accuracy, speed, reaction time, and tracking ability), along with percentiles for each measurement and your average task score. We’ll update your Player Card each time you improve your performance in a task.
Player Profiles (beta) and VALORANT Stats (coming soon) If that isn’t enough new, exciting stuff, we’re launching new features on the web as well! There’s a totally new aimlab.gg/profile section where you can see your task history, scores/metrics, and track your improvement.
And in the very near future, we’re also going to launch the ability to link your Riot Games account. What does that mean? It means we’ll be able to start importing your VALORANT match history and analyzing your in-game performance, in order to answer two very fundamental questions:
Is your Aim Lab training paying off in-game?
What tasks should you focus on based off your in-game performance?
This is our first foray into game-specific data, and we’ll be bringing you unique stats, and some new stat splits/breakdowns to help identify precisely where there’s room for improvement.
Bear with us as we work out some kinks during our beta period, but we’re extremely excited to start giving you insights into your in-game performance, and using those insights to help inform your training and measure improvement!
The Combine ends on May 12th, and we’re excited to keep bringing you new tasks, events, and stats to help understand and improve your VALORANT performance. Join us on Discord or follow us on Twitter to keep up to speed on new developments, or let us know what you’d like to see next!

New Rainbow Six Siege Tasks
Like with our last R6 event, we've brought a whole new bundle of Rainbow Six Siege tasks to Aim Lab! These tasks mimic many of the elements of Rainbow Six Siege that you may be used to - Like camera height and movement speed, so those of you that play should feel right at home!
These tasks are ;
Oregon Entry 2
A task so nice we had to do it twice - Oregon Entry 2 offers a remix on the task you know and love - With new targets, new routes and new tactics needed to clear!
Clubhouse Entry 1
Taking advantage of the new Clubhouse map, this task runs you through Clubhouse, clearing angles and dealing with enemies as you go. The perfect introduction to those that need to learn the map quickly!
Lean Peeking Basic
Lean peeking is a critical skill in Rainbow Six - And so, we wanted to make sure you all had the best environment to practice this in!
Lean Peeking Basic is the first version of this task being brought to Aim Lab - Expect more to come!

This goes out to all of you Ash and Jager mains - Aim Lab has some new guns!
Both the R4-C and the 416-C are now available within Aim Lab - Pre-equipped with a holo sight matching the one you are all used to! These weapons should feel pretty close to what you are used to - And are available both for all current tasks within Aim Lab, and for creators in the Creator Studio!
New Layout - Same Aim Lab
When you next hop into AIm Lab, you might see a couple of changes to the Tasks screen - This overhaul of the task section is intended to make sure that you always know what can be found and where.
This features a couple of new sections that you may not have seen before - Such as ;
FEATURED -
These are the most popular and well known tasks within Aim Lab, and cover a variety of bases when it comes to your training
GAME SPECIFIC -
This is where you will find the new Rainbow Six Siege tasks - This section will host any and all tasks built with one specific game in mind - And may use the games movement speeds, camera height, physics, weapons, maps and more.
SKILLS -
This is the new home of the category system. Here you will find the tasks of Aim Lab split into the categories that they affect - From Flicking to Cognition.

Aim Lab x Rainbow Six Siege
So - Aim Lab is now the official Aim Training Partner for Siege, but what does that mean for you?
As an official partner of Rainbow Six Siege, we are going to focus on fulfilling the training needs of any and all aspiring Siege players - This is going to mean more tasks, more events, and more support for Siege as a whole!
As our partnership with Rainbow Six Siege matures, you can expect to see more and more support for R6 training within Aim Lab, from ingame Models and hitboxes, to maps, to, ofcourse, weapons, all of which will be fully supported by Aim Lab and the insight system.
We will have some very exciting things to show you in the future - But for now, we hope that this update will give those of you looking for ways to hone their skills a place to call home.

We’re extremely excited to announce that Aim Lab is now the official training center for Rainbow Six Siege!
That means if you’re a Siege player, or looking to become one, starting today a lot of good things are coming your way in Aim Lab. We’ve vastly improved the fundamentals -- e.g. game and player physics like movement speed, ADS, and lean peeking -- to make them mimic the Siege experience, so the habits you build in Aim Lab will translate over when you fire up R6S.
We’re also releasing a bunch of new content to broaden your training options. That includes new Siege-specific tasks, a second map, Clubhouse, being available both in tasks and Creator Studio, and we’re releasing our first two R6S weapons! You’ll find new gun models, along with recoil and spread, for the R4-C and the 416-C, so you can start really honing your accuracy, flicking, and recoil control.
And this is just the beginning for what we’re trying to accomplish. Our goal is to support Siege players of all levels as they improve their performance, whether that’s a new player, somebody looking to get over the hump in Ranked matches, or even seasoned veterans trying to hone the last 1% of their craft.
To that end, we’ll be adding more maps, tasks, weapons, and other great content in the weeks and months ahead. Join us on Discord or follow us on Twitter to keep up to speed on new developments, or let us know what you’d like to see next!

Aim Lab
New Task - Scattershot: As promised - The Scattershot task from the Logitech x G2 event has now been brought into Aim Lab for good! You can find this new fan-favorite in the “Flicking” category!
Task Repaired - Snipershot: Many of you have been in touch over the last week reporting that the Snipershot task was bugged for you - We’re happy to announce that as of this last update, Snipershot is now fixed! This means that all of your playlists, custom tasks and training routines can now be run to their fullest once more - Thank you for allowing us the time to get this fixed for you!
Creator Studio
New Map - Ascent: Finishing off the original trio of Valorant maps, Ascent joins the roster of templates within the Creator Studio! As with all previous templates, this is free for all creators to access, and can be found in the "New from template" option within the Creator Studio
New Interactable - Trigger: We’re really excited to see how you guys get along with this - A new Trigger-style interactable has been introduced into the Creator Studio, offering a number of different options for whatever you may need!
New Trigger - Teleporter: “Speedy thing goes in - Speedy thing comes out” Teleporters are now available within the Creator Studio! Featuring full momentum conservation and linking, these should be an excellent tool for creators wanting to focus on rapid environmental changes!
New Trigger - End Gate: Want to create an assault course for palyers to run through? Well, now you can! This new interactable allows you to set an area that will end the current round should the player walk into it - What you do with this is up to you! Set an end goal for your task, or a death-pit for your obsctacle course. The sky is the literal limit!
New Trigger - Trigger Spawner: Want to set off targets as soon as the player walks into a room? Or maybe you want a flurry of targets to spawn if one gets too low? Now you can! This new trigger functions similarly to the “TriggerSpawnersOnDeath” modifier you may be used to, and allows you to set off spawners when a player, bot or object walks into your Trigger field!
New Behaviors - Bot Sounds: Options for bot sounds on hit, kill and spawn are now available as a behavior for all bot types! Simply add the behaviour, save the bot and you're off to the races! Included along with this are dozens of unique, pre-installed sounds that you can select to ensure that your map feels the way you want it to be played!
New Feature - Drag Select: Ever wanted to move a bunch of objects at the same time? Well, now you can! Simply left click and drag over the objects you want to select to grab them all at once - Then scale, reposition, rotate or whatever else you desire to your hearts content, it’s just that easy!

New Task - Scattershot
Combining wide engagement flicks with small, rapid microcorrections, Scattershot is a one-size-fits-all task for just about any flicking need you might have! Playing through the task is fairly simple - Flick to a target, then destroy it, as you would in any other task, but with a twist - Once you kill a target, two more spawn right next to your crosshair. Kill them as fast as possible, then repeat. This task is fairly universally applicable for flicking - From Valorant to Hyperscape and everything inbetween, so definitely try to fit it into your routines!

And for everyone else - You’ll be able to see a clean history of the task, who’s the best and what they are doing differently to you.
