Major Optimization - Input Delay
Input delay is something that affects all games - Aiming especially. As such, it is something we always strive to reduce in any way possible.
In Update 0.77EB, we struck a breakthrough - Thanks to the fine work of our engineering team we were able to cut the input delay in Aim Lab by up to 50% in some scenarios - This should result in Aim Lab feeling overall much smoother and much more responsive to play!
First of all we wanted to thank each and every player that participated in the Andbox event - We had an outstanding turnout and the battle for the top spots was well fought! GG to everybody involved!

You can find these new tasks in the "Flicking" category - Split into three difficulty modes!

Andbox, the organization behind NYXL (Overwatch League) and the New York Subliners (Call of Duty League), is building New York’s professional VALORANT team and we’re giving YOU the opportunity to try out for the team.
Andbox's head coach, Matt “Warden” Dickens and the team here at Aim Lab have designed a series of tasks to identify and evaluate players who possess professional level mechanical skills. Try to beat the scores of the pros and other competitors to earn the attention of Warden - you might earn a callback to come try out for the team.
Compete against top level aimers and professional players in four challenging tasks to stake your claim to a share of the $10,000 prize pool!

Featuring new firing sounds, a sleek new model and crisp iron sights, the Shadow is sure to tickle the fancy of those looking to take a stealthier approach to their training.
The 9mm - A classic reborn
Alas, after many years it is finally time to retire the old 9mm pistol. The model has served us well, and is no doubt forever etched into the hearts and minds of Aim Lab players worldwide - But all good things must come to an end.
In its place - A new, sleek 9mm model has been added to Aim Lab! This new Glock-style model incorporates a minimalist design with the same old function you are used to - Nicer, Neater, and with much better iron sights, we hope that the new 9mm helps to fill the void left by the old classic!

Welcome to the Control Update.
The Control Update
The control update is a fundamental rewrite of the way the "Control" section of Aim Lab works.
This update brings a myriad of new features such as fully automatic sensitivity conversions, scaling by focal distance (See our most recent blog post for more information on this) and the ability to input your raw CM/360 instead of playing around with sensitivity.
This means that you can now change from one game to another without having to reset all of your sensitivities - Instead, they will now match automatically.
We have put together a short blog post to help newer users to understand how to use the Control Update more effectively - So if you need a little help to wrap your head around some of the myriad of new features the Control Update brings, check out the Control Update Guide!
