Fixed bug that prevented users from starting Workshop Playlists to be unplayable from the Workshop menu.
Reverted back to 2D audio since the 3D audio implementation was causing issues for some users that would make annoying static sounds or no sound at all. This may potentially solve crashes that some users were experiencing.
I know a fair amount of people have been having issues with crashes, this update will hopefully fix crashes for the majority of you.
Patch Notes: Early Access Build 0.46 EB

Made some changes to loading that should increase performance across the board and potentially fix a lot of crashes that were happening, let us know in the comments if you notice a performance increase or are still experiencing micro-stutters and crashes.
Fixed bug that caused Workshop tasks that were added in a playlist to disappear from the playlist once you leave the custom playlist menu.

Fixed bug where the change all weapons in playlist did nothing for some users.

Please note - We have been made aware of an issue some users are experiencing in which tasks and buttons may not work. This is caused by Windows having no set time zone. Make sure you have a time zone set in Windows, and please submit another bug report if you continue to experience problems after following these instructions.
No new flashy features this week unfortunately, however - You will be happy to know that the team has been working themselves to the bone this week running what equates to a Quality of Life sweep of the current build of Aim Lab. However - That's not to say there aren't some important changes going live with EB 0.45.
Spatial sound
After much ado, spatial sound is now in! This change affects primarily tasks like Audiodetection, Audiospatial and any custom tasks that involve sound in a 3d space. This change should make distinguishing sound infront and behind the player far, far easier.
Stability sweep
Our team has been hard at work nailing down a whole host of issues with stability in Aim Lab this week, from performance to full on crashes.
By the end, over one hundred individual stability fixes and tweaks made their way into EB 0.45!
You should notice far fewer crashes and stutters this update, but please let us know if they persist!

Update 0.44EB brings some essential fixes and changes to already existing content while bringing an entirely new feature - The ability to export your task data and read over it at will.
Data Export
Quite a few users wanted to get a more up close and personal look at their performance and the data we store regarding it - Well. Now you can get your task data on demand!
Find the "Download Data" tab in the Skills section of the Profile menu, click "export" and pick a place to download your data to - It's just that simple.
Please note, Data exporting is not available for users playing offline or as guests, as no data is taken from these users.
New Icons
Our design team has been hard at work during the production of our UI overhaul creating new icons for use in the Task section - And we're finally happy to release them.
While this is a small change, granted, we hope that the clearer, more task-oriented design of the new icons will be to your liking.

We're back at you again with Update 0.42EB - Bringing with it a whole bunch of love to the Profile menu, a new mode for training projectile-based weapons and a full Reaction time breakdown chart!
New Features
Predictionshot - Most games back in the day relied on a system called "Hitscan", in which the second you shot, an invisible laser would go from your crosshair to where you were looking. Instantly. As games have developed, so to have ballistic systems, as such we see more and more games straying from the Hitscan style and moving more into Realism, with bullets travelling as they would in real life. Predictionshot aims to help all players, from veterans to new players, to get to grips with leading targets by instinct. Predictionshot is an expansion upon the standard Strafeshot mode - Featuring an indicator for where you should be firing to ensure that your shot lands where your target will be, rather than where it is. This indicator is dynamic, meaning it changes based on distance, target speed and even the speed of the projectile of your weapon, so don't be afraid to set up a custom weapon to run this mode - It's what it's made for after all. You can find Predictionshot in the "Sandbox" category of modes.
Task Data History - A long requested feature - We are happy to announce the introduction of proper historical graphs for your performance! These can be found in the "Profile" section of the game, under the new "Task Data" tab. This new history section allows you to see everything you'll need to build an idea of your improvements, from your score over time to your average performance and percentiles - To your best result in any of the six categories provided!
Reaction Time and Gain Breakdown - Another long requested feature - Once again found in the Profile section. You will find the "Reports" category has been added, and with it - A full breakdown of your Reaction Time and Gain average. You will find your Reaction Time broken down into 3 parts
Perceptual Speed, or how long it takes you to identify a target
Cognitive Speed, or how long it takes you to decide to shoot a target after identifying it
And finally - Motor Speed, or how long in Milliseconds it takes you to flick to your intended target.
These three categories cover all aspects of your engagement time, and, as such, are best used to help diagnose what is holding you back, helping you to see if it's your movements that are slow, or if you take a little too long to decide to shoot, making it a useful tool for players and coaches alike!

Update 0.41EB is here! And with it comes something you've wanted for a long while~
Graybox Customisation
Aim Lab made its debut with Graybox, a simple environment with very little to it - A staging ground for everything that we have now. It's a good map, but it's time it got a fresh lick of paint.
0.41EB brings a new section to the custom suite - Graybox, in which you can customise your Graybox environment to your hearts content. Control the texture and colour of the map with a variety of presets and full RGB Spectrum adjustment, to get the look you want.
Any changes made to Graybox also affect non-default Graybox maps, like the maps for Snipershot and Pentakill, so you need not worry about having to set it for each and every mode and map. Simply set it up once and you're good to go!
Bug fixes and tweaks.
-Changed Apex Legends FOV from actual 4:3 degrees to ingame FOV value -Disabled FOV settings for Rules of Survival -Fixed CircleTrackCustom title showing up as Blinkshot -Added PUBG Scope settings. -Fixed font issues in loading screen for mode -Fixed Register screen to say "Login" instead of "Return" -Fixed scoring percentile issues in Gridshot, Microshot, Strafetrack and Circletrack -Fixed lighting issue in Graybox Freetrack, Blinkshot and Ninjashot.
What's coming next
Being able to customise colours and textures is all well and good - But I think we all want to be able to take maps a little further.
Well, have I got good news for you. Our team has been hard at work this holiday season putting together something you've been asking for for some time.
I am happy to announce that Map Creation will be coming to Aim Lab, just one of the many things we're eager to get in your hands come the new year.
We'll have a little more to show off soon, but for now - Stay tuned.
Closing notes
This year has been our fastest growing year since we first announced Aim Lab. In less than one year our community has absolutely exploded, from just a few thousand users to us hitting the absolutely colossal landmark of one million users on Steam!
Aim Lab would not be what it is today without the support of people like you. Your feedback has helped us to take what we had and make it so much more complete - And we've still got a ways to go.
This year has been absolutely huge for us - And we hope that we can make next year even better!
Thank you to our wonderful community members, no matter the platform. You have helped to forge a community of positivity and accessibility the likes of which i've personally never had the joy of knowing before. You've forged a community that people are not afraid to engage in, one that users of all skill levels feel included in, and one that people are not afraid to ask for help in.
You guys are the best community we could have ever asked for.
And so, it is from all of us here at the Aim Lab Team that we say - Thank you!
We hope that each and every one of you enjoy this holiday season, and we look forward to seeing you again in the New Year!
Welcome to version EB 0.40 - A new UI, a new gun, and a great cause!
New UI
EB 0.40 brings a fresh coat of paint to Aim Lab in more ways than one - You will find the *entire* user interface has been redesigned from the ground up to be more simplistic, easier to follow, and beyond all - Convenient.
This new UI brings many long-sought features to Aim Lab, from a pre-task and in-task video to help you understand the task better, to the ability to *instantly open your leaderboards score after a round*, and just about everything inbetween.
Post round feedback has received a fresh lick of paint too - Including vital fixes to percentiles and feedback.
New gun - The Desert Eagle
For all intents and purposes - The Desert Eagle is a cleaner, more updated version of the 9mm pistol. It carries the same stats and recoil, but with a far more *tacticool* model. This will, in time, become the default weapon for most tasks, taking the place of the 9mm as a spiritual successor, but right now - It's just along for the ride.
New feature - Crosshair uploading
Ever had your eyes on a crosshair in a game that you just can't replicate? Or perhaps one a little outlandish? Well, now you can upload just about any image as a custom crosshair for your shooting pleasure! Aim with anything from a dot to a square picture of Danny Devito, and everything in-between!
And finally, in keeping with the Christmas spirit...
Aim lab x Gamers Outreach
We're proud to announce our partnership with Gamers Outreach - A charity helping to bring videogames and joy to millions of children across America!
Gamers Outreach is doing amazing things not just for gaming - But for gamers as a whole. And we're happy to play our part.
